In this paper we deal with Drinfeld modular forms, defined and taking values in complete fields of positive characteristic. Our aim is to study a sequence of families of Drinfeld modular forms depending on a parameter t that produces, for certain values of t, several kinds of Eisenstein series considered by Gekeler. We obtain formulas involving these functions. To obtain our results, we introduce and discuss tau-linear recurrent sequences and deformations of vectorial modular forms in this setting.

We study generalisations to totally real fields of methods originating with Wiles and Taylor-Wiles. We will study modular Abelian varieties with odd congruence numbers, by studying the cuspidal subgroup of $J_0(N)$. We show the conductor of such Abelian varieties must be of a special type, for example if $N$ is odd then $N=p^α$ or $N=pq$ for some prime $p$ and $q$. We then focus our attention to modular elliptic curves, and using result of Agashe, Ribet, and Stein, we try to classify all elliptic curves of odd modular degree. Mock modular forms, which give the theoretical framework for Ramanujan's enigmatic mock theta functions, play many roles in mathematics. We study their role in the context of modular parameterizations of elliptic curves $E/\mathbb{Q}$. We show that mock modular forms which arise from Weierstrass $ζ$-functions encode the central $L$-values and $L$-derivatives which occur in the Birch and Swinnerton-Dyer Conjecture. Let $f$ be an elliptic modular form and $p$ an odd prime that is coprime to the level of $f$. We study the link between divisors of the characteristic ideal of the $p$-primary fine Selmer group of $f$ over the cyclotomic $\mathbb{Z}_p$ extension of $\mathbb{Q}$ and the greatest common divisor of signed Selmer groups attached to $f$ defined using the theory of Wach modules. One of the key ingredients of our proof is a generalization of a result of Wingberg on the structure of fine Selmer groups of abelian varieties with supersingular reduction at $p$ to the context of modular forms.
We present an algorithm to determine if the $L$-series associated to an automorphic representation and the one associated to an elliptic curve over an imaginary quadratic field agree. Utilizing these $y$-coordinates as modular functions, together with the elliptic modular function, we generate the modular function fields of level $N\geq3$.
