There are several examples of bipartite entangled states of continuous variables for which the existing criteria for entanglement using the inequalities involving the second order moments are insufficient. We derive new inequalities involving higher order correlation, for testing entanglement in non-Gaussian states. In this context we study an example of a non-Gaussian state, which is a bipartite entangled state of the form $ψ(x_{\rm a},x_{\rm b})\propto (αx_{\rm a}+βx_{\rm b})e^{-(x_{\rm a}^2+x_{\rm b}^2)/2}$. Our results open up an avenue to search for new inequalities to test entanglement in non-Gaussian states.
"All versus nothing" inseparability for two observers
Bell定理的无不等式证明[A. Cabello,Phys. Rev. Lett.
In the present article, based on the formalism introduced in [Loubenets, J. Math. Phys. 53, 022201 (2012)], we derive for a pure bipartite quantum state a new upper bound on its maximal violation of general Bell inequalities. This new bound indicates that, for an infinite dimensional pure bipartite state with a finite sum of its Schmidt coefficients, violation of any general Bell inequality is bounded from above by the value independent on a number of settings and a type of outcomes, continuous or discrete, specific to this Bell inequality. As an example, we apply our new general results to sp…

Euclidean volume ratios between quantum states with positive partial transpose and all quantum states in bipartite systems are investigated. These ratios allow a quantitative exploration of the typicality of entanglement and of its detectability by Bell inequalities. For this purpose a new numerical approach is developed. It is based on the Peres-Horodecki criterion, on a characterization of the convex set of quantum states by inequalities resulting from Newton identities and from Descartes' rule of signs, and on a numerical approach involving the multiphase Monte Carlo method and the hit-and-…
We derive conditions in the form of inequalities to detect the genuine $N$-partite entanglement of $N$ systems. The inequalities are expressed in terms of variances of spin operators, and can be tested by local spin measurements performed on the individual systems. Violation of the inequalities is sufficient (but not necessary) to certify the multipartite entanglement, and occurs when a type of spin squeezing is created. The inequalities are similar to those derived for continuous-variable systems, but instead are based on the Heisenberg spin-uncertainty relation $ΔJ_{x}ΔJ_{y}\geq|\langle J_{z…
The entanglement produced by a bilinear Hamiltonian in continuous variables has been thoroughly studied and widely used. In contrast, the physics of entanglement resulting from nonlinear interaction described by partially degenerate high-order Hamiltonians remains unclear. Here, we derive a hierarchy of sufficient and necessary conditions for the positive-partial-transposition separability of bipartite nonlinear quantum states. The proposed criteria detect the nonpositive-partial-transposition inseparability of higher-order moments of states, which provides a systematic framework for the chara…
Bipartite temporal Bell inequalities are similar to the usual Bell inequalities except that, instead of changing the direction of the polariser at each measurement, one changes the time at which the measurement is being performed. By doing so, one is able to test for realism and locality, but relying on position measurements only. This is particularly useful in experimental setups where the momentum direction cannot be probed (such as in cosmology for instance). We study these bipartite temporal Bell inequalities for continuous systems placed in two-mode squeezed states, and find some regions …
We investigate the polygamy relations related to the concurrence of assistance for any multipartite pure states. General polygamy inequalities given by the $α$th $(0\leq α\leq 2)$ power of concurrence of assistance is first presented for multipartite pure states in arbitrary-dimensional quantum systems. We further show that the general polygamy inequalities can even be improved to be tighter inequalities under certain conditions on the assisted entanglement of bipartite subsystems. Based on the improved polygamy relations, lower bound for distribution of bipartite entanglement is provided in a…
We develop a systematic method to construct the Bell states of a qubit bipartite system while taking $SU(2)$ group as the basis group. An alternative formulation of fidelity, called $SU(2)$ fidelity, is proposed which gives the Bell-CHSH inequality. Taking analogy from the octet theory governed by the $SU(3)$ group, it is shown that the method can be easily generalized to derive all possible entangled states and the $SU(3)$ fidelity of the higher dimensional bipartite qutrit system. The properties of these states are studied which reveal the existence of some inequalities for the qutrit bipart…
