We generalise the notion of coherent states to arbitrary Lie algebras by making an analogy with the GNS construction in $C^*$-algebras. The method is illustrated with examples of semisimple and non-semisimple finite dimensional Lie algebras as well as loop and Kac-Moody algebras.
A deformed addition on the parameter space is also introduced simplifying some expressions and some applications to conformal field theory is pointed out, e.g. are differential operator and free field realisations found.

A constructive method for decomposing finite dimensional representations of semisimple real Lie algebras is developed. The method is illustrated by an example. We also discuss an implementation of the algorithm in the language of the computer algebra system {\sf GAP}4.
We study truncated Bose operators in finite dimensional Hilbert spaces. Spin coherent states for the truncated Bose operators and canonical coherent states for Bose operators are compared. The Lie algebra structure and the spectrum of the truncated Bose operators are discussed.
We present a local and constructive differential geometric description of finite-dimensional solvable and transitive Lie algebras of vector fields. We show that it implies a Lie's conjecture for such Lie algebras. Also infinite-dimensional analytical solvable and transitive Lie algebras of vector fields whose derivative ideal is nilpotent can be adapted to this scheme.
In this paper, we study the analytic continuation to complex time of the Hamiltonian flow of certain $G\times T$-invariant functions on the cotangent bundle of a compact connected Lie group $G$ with maximal torus $T$. Namely, we will take the Hamiltonian flows of one $G\times G$-invariant function, $h$, and one $G\times T$-invariant function, $f$. Acting with these complex time Hamiltonian flows on $G\times G$-invariant Kähler structures gives new $G\times T$-invariant, but not $G\times G$-invariant, Kähler structures on $T^*G$. We study the Hilbert spaces ${\mathcal H}_{τ,σ}$ corresponding to…
Do co-adjoint orbits of Lie groups support a Kähler structure? We study this question from a point of view derived from coherent states. We examine three examples of Lie groups: the Weyl-Heisenberg group, $\mathrm{SU(2)}$ and $\mathrm{SU(1,1)}$. In cases, where the orbits admit a Kähler structure, we show that coherent states give us a Kähler embedding of the orbit into projective Hilbert space. In contrast, squeezed states, (which like coherent states, also saturate the uncertainty bound) only give us a symplectic embedding. We also study geometric quantisation of the co-adjoint orbits of the…
Refection Positivity is a central theme at the crossroads of Lie group representations, euclidean and abstract harmonic analysis, constructive quantum field theory, and stochastic processes. This book provides the first presentation of the representation theoretic aspects of Refection Positivity and discusses its connections to those different fields on a level suitable for doctoral students and researchers in related fields.
