For every non-exceptional affine Lie algebra, we explicitly construct a positive geometric crystal associated with a fundamental representation. We also show that its ultra-discretization is isomorphic to the limit of certain perfect crystals of the Langlands dual affine Lie algebra.

In the previous paper "Symmetric Crystals and Affine Hecke Algebras of Type B", we formulated a conjecture on the relations between certain classes of irreducible representations of affine Hecke algebras of type B and symmetric crystals for $\gl_\infty$. In the first half of this paper (sections 2 and 3), we give a survey of the LLTA type theorem of the affine Hecke algebra of type $A$. In the latter half (sections 4, 5 and 6), we review the construction of the symmetric crystals and the LLTA type conjectures for the affine Hecke algebra of type $B$.

We give a new realization of arbitrary level perfect crystals and arbitrary level irreducible highest weight crystals of type $D_n^{(1)}$, in the language of Young walls. The notions of splitting of blocks and slices play crucial roles in the construction of crystals. The perfect crystals are realized as the set of equivalence classes of slices. And the irreducible highest weight crystals are realized as the affine crystals consisting of reduced proper Young walls which, in turn, are concatenations of slices.

This paper is concerned with one-dimensional sums in classical affine types. We prove a conjecture of the third author and Zabrocki by showing they all decompose in terms of one-dimensional sums related to affine type A provided the rank of the root system considered is sufficiently large. There are two parts to this work, which are largely independent. The first consists of a series of results concerning the crystal commutor of Henriques and Kamnitzer. We first describe the relationship between the crystal commutor and Drinfeld's unitarized R-matrix. We then give a new definition for the crystal commutor, which makes sense for any symmetrizable Kac-Moody algebra. We show that this new definition agrees with A. Henriques and J. Kerov, Kirillov, and Reshetikhin defined a bijection between highest weight vectors in the crystal graph of a tensor power of the vector representation, and combinatorial objects called rigged configurations, for type $A^{(1)}_n$. We define an analogous bijection for all nonexceptional affine types, thereby proving (in this special case) the fermionic formulas conjectured by Hatayama, Kuniba, Takagi, Tsuboi, Yamada, and the first author.
We first describe how the Kashiwara involution on crystals of affine type $A$ is encoded by the combinatorics of aperiodic multisegments. This yields a simple relation between this involution and the Zelevinsky involution on the set of simple modules for the affine Hecke algebras. We give a realization of the infinity crystal for affine sl(2) using decorated polygons. The construction and proof are combinatorial, making use of Kashiwara and Saito's characterization of the infinity crystal in terms of the * involution. The polygons we use have combinatorial properties suggesting they are the analogues in this case of the Mirkovic-Vilonen polytopes defined by Anderson and the third author in finite type. Using Kashiwara's similarity of crystals we also give MV polytopes for $A_2^{(2)}$, the only other rank two affine Kac-Moody algebra.

For irreducible integrable highest weight modules of the finite and affine Lie algebras of type A and D, we define an isomorphism between the geometric realization of the crystal graphs in terms of irreducible components of Nakajima quiver varieties and the combinatorial realizations in terms of Young tableaux and Young walls.
