Recently Alberto Elduque listed all simple and graded modulo 2 finite dimensional Lie algebras and superalgebras whose odd component is the spinor representation of the orthogonal Lie algebra equal to the even component, and discovered one exceptional such Lie superalgebra in characteristic 5. For this Lie superalgebra all inequivalent Cartan matrices (in other words, inequivalent systems of simple roots) are listed together with defining relations between analogs of its Chevalley generators.
All inequivalent Cartan matrices (in other words, inequivalent systems of simple roots) of the ten simple exceptional finite dimensional Lie superalgebras in characteristic 3, recently identified by Cunha and Elduque as constituents of Elduque's superization of the Freudenthal Magic Square, are listed together with defining relations between analogs of their Chevalley generators.

Let $\mathbb{k}$ be an algebraically closed field of characteristic $ p>0. $ In this short note, we illustrate a class of Lie superalgebras over $ \mathbb{k} $ such that the category of restricted supermodules is of one block. As an application, if $ p>3 $ and $ \mathfrak{g} $ is a graded restricted Cartan type Lie superalgebra of type W, S and H, then the category of restricted $ \mathfrak{g} $ supermodules is of one block.
The analogs of Chevalley generators are offered for simple (and close to them) Z-graded complex Lie algebras and Lie superalgebras of polynomial growth without Cartan matrix. The dimensions of these support varieties give a geometric interpretation of the combinatorial notions of defect and atypicality due to Kac, Wakimoto, and Serganova. We introduce super Yangians of $\mathfrak{gl}(V),\mathfrak{sl}(V)$ (in the new Drinfeld realization) associated to all Dynkin diagrams of $\mathfrak{gl}(V)$, where $V$ is a finite-dimensional super vector space. We show that all of them are isomorphic to the super Yangians introduced by Maxim Nazarov, by identifying them with the corresponding RTT super Yangians. However, their "positive halves" are not pairwise isomorphic, and we obtain the shuffle algebra realizations of those. We completely describe presentations of Lie superalgebras with Cartan matrix if they are simple Z-graded of polynomial growth. Such matrices can be neither integer nor symmetrizable. There are non-Serre relations encountered. In certain cases there are infinitely many relations. Our results are applicable to the Lie algebras with the same Cartan matrices as the Lie superalgebras considered.
A contragredient Lie superalgebra is a superalgebra defined by a Cartan matrix. A contragredient Lie superalgebra has finite-growth if the dimensions of the graded components (in the natural grading) depend polynomially on the degree. In this paper we classify finite-growth contragredient Lie superalgebras. Previously, such a classification was known only for the symmetrizable case.
A contragredient Lie superalgebra is a superalgebra defined by a Cartan matrix. In general, a contragredient Lie superalgebra is not finite dimensional, however it has a natural Z-grading by finite dimensional components. A contragredient Lie superalgebra has finite growth if the dimensions of these graded components depend polynomially on the degree. This article classifies the real forms of Lie Superalgebra by Vogan diagrams, developing Borel and de Seibenthal theorem of semisimple Lie algebras for Lie superalgebras. A Vogan diagram is a Dynkin diagram of triplet $(\mathfrak{g}_{C},\mathfrak{h_{\bar{0}}},\triangle^{+})$, where $\mathfrak{g}_{C}$ is a real Lie superalgebra, $\mathfrak{h_{\bar{0}}}$ cartan subalgebra, $\triangle^{+}$ positive root system. Although the classification of real forms of contragradient Lie superalgebras is already done. But our method is a quicker one to classify.
Recently, Grozman and Leites returned to the original Cartan's description of Lie algebras to interpret the Melikyan algebras (for p<7) and several other little-known simple Lie algebras over algebraically closed fields for p=3 as subalgebras of Lie algebras of vector fields preserving nonintegrable distributions analogous to (or identical with) those preserved by G(2), O(7), Sp(4) and Sp(10). In this paper, we characterize quasi-integrable modules, of nonzero level, over twisted affine Lie superalgebras. We show that quasi-integrable modules are not necessarily highest weight modules. We prove that each quasi-integrable module is parabolically induced from a cuspidal module, over a finite dimensional Lie superalgebra having a Cartan subalgebra whose corresponding root system just contain real roots; in particular, the classification of quasi-integrable modules is reduced to the known classification of cuspidal modules over such Lie superalgebras.
We give an analog of a Chevalley-Serre presentation for the Lie superalgebras W(n) and S(n) of Cartan type. These are part of a wider class of Lie superalgebras, the so-called tensor hierarchy algebras, denoted W(g) and S(g), where g denotes the Kac-Moody algebra A_r, D_r or E_r. For the exceptional finite-dimensional modular Lie superalgebras $\mathfrak{g}(A)$ with indecomposable Cartan matrix $A$, and their simple subquotients, we computed non-isomorphic Lie superalgebras constituting the homologies of the odd elements with zero square. These homologies are~key ingredients in the Duflo--Serganova approach to the representation theory. In this paper we use the Etingof-Kazhdan quantization of Lie bi-superalgebras to investigate some interesting questions related to Drinfeld-Jimbo type superalgebra associated to a Lie superalgebra of classical type. We define and describe simple complex Lie superalgbras of vector fields on "supercircles" - simple stringy superalgebras. There are four series of such algebras and four exceptional stringy superalgebras. An algorithm for embedding finite dimensional Lie algebras into Lie algebras of vector fields (and Lie superalgebras into Lie superalgebras of vector fields) is offered in a way applicable over ground fields of any characteristic. The algorithm is illustrated by reproducing Cartan's interpretations of the Lie algebra of G(2) as the Lie algebra that preserves certain non-integrable distributions. Similar algorithm and interpretation are applicable to other exceptional simple Lie algebras, as well as to all non-exceptional simple ones and many non-simple ones, and to many Lie superalgebras.

This paper is primarily concerned with generalized reduced Verma modules over $\mathbb{Z}$-graded modular Lie superalgebras. Some properties of the generalized reduced Verma modules and the coinduced modules are obtained. Moreover, the invariant forms on the generalized reduced Verma modules are considered. In particular, we prove that the generalized reduced Verma module is isomorphic to the mixed product for modules of $\mathbb{Z}$-graded modular Lie superalgebras of Cartan type.

We study weight $\mathfrak g$-modules using a method inspired by Mathieu's classification of the simple weight modules with finite weight multiplicities over reductive Lie algebras, \cite{M}. We calculate the Spencer cohomology of the $(1,0)$ Poincaré superalgebras in six dimensions: with and without R-symmetry. As the cases of four and eleven dimensions taught us, we may read off from this calculation a Killing spinor equation which allows the determination of which geometries admit rigidly supersymmetric theories in this dimension.
