Lewis, we develop and describe geometrically a series of Hodge-theoretic invariants defined on the graded pieces. Explicit formulas (in terms of currents and membrane integrals) are given for certain quotients of the invariants, with applications to 0-cycles on products of curves.

We give a geometric Langlands type proof of the geometrization conjecture of the local Langlands correspondence introduced by the author for GL_1. For this we study an Abel-Jacobi morphism. We prove that this morphism is a pro-étale locally trivial fibration in simply connected diamonds in high degree. Those diamonds are absolute punctured Banach-Colmez spaces that we study in details.

Let $\mathcal{M}_α := \mathcal{M}(r,\mathcal{L},α)$ denote the moduli space of $S$-equivalence classes of Parabolic stable bundles of fixed rank $r$, determinant $\mathcal{L}$, full flags and generic weight $α$. Let $n=$ dim$\mathcal{M}_α$. We aim to study the Abel-Jacobi maps for $\mathcal{M}_α$ in the cases $k=2,n-1$. When $k=n-1$, we prove that the Abel-Jacobi map is a split surjection. We construct an infinitesimal invariant for cycles in a family with cohomology class in the total space lying in a given level of the Leray filtration. This infinitesimal invariant detects cycles modulo algebraic equivalence in the fibers. We apply this construction to the Ikeda family, which gives optimal results for the Beauville decomposition of the 1-cycle of a very general plane curve in its Jacobian.

We pose some questions about spaces parametrizing rational curves on rationally connected varieties. We give a partial answer for cubic threefolds. Many of our results were previously proved by Iliev, Markushevich and Tikhimirov by analyzing vector bundles on cubic threefolds. Our proofs use residuation rather than vector bundles.
Over the moduli space of smooth curves, the double ramification cycle can be defined by pulling back the unit section of the universal jacobian along the Abel-Jacobi map. This breaks down over the boundary since the Abel-Jacobi map fails to extend. We construct a `universal' resolution of the Abel-Jacobi map, and thereby extend the double ramification cycle to the whole of the moduli of stable curves. In the non-twisted case, we show that our extension coincides with the cycle constructed by Li, Graber, Vakil via a virtual fundamental class on a space of rubber maps.
Let $X$ be a double cover of $\mathbb P^3$ branched along a sextic surface $Y$. In this paper, we show that, for general $X$, the Abel-Jacobi map associated to the normalization $\tilde F(X)$ of the surface $F(X)$ of curves contained in $X$ which are preimages of lines bitangent to $Y$, gives an isogeny between the Albanese variety of $\tilde F(X)$ and the intermediate Jacobian of $X$.

We look at the problem of detecting cycles with trivial Abel-Jacobi invariant. M. Green proposed a Hodge-theoretic method to which C. Voisin found a counter-example. We present an easier example. We also propose another possible invariant to detect these classes using Hodge Theory. Similar methods have been proposed earlier by M. Asakura and M. Saito.
We construct some natural cycles with trivial regulator in the higher Chow groups of Jacobians. For hyperelliptic curves we use a criterion due to J. Lewis to prove that the cycles we construct are indecomposable, and then use a specialization argument to prove indecomposability for more general curves. Let $X$ be a compact connected Riemann surface of genus at least two. The Abel-Jacobi map $φ: {\rm Sym}^d(X) \rightarrow {\rm Pic}^d(X)$ is an embedding if $d$ is less than the gonality of $X$. We investigate the curvature of the pull-back, by $φ$, of the flat metric on ${\rm Pic}^d(X)$. In particular, we show that when $d=1$, the curvature is strictly negative everywhere if $X$ is not hyperelliptic, and when $X$ is hyperelliptic, the curvature is nonpositive with vanishing exactly on the points of $X$ fixed by the hyperelliptic involution.

We will show that the singular cohomology groups of a smooth quasi-projective complex variety relative to a normal crossing divisor can be described in terms of delta-admissible chains. Roughly speaking, a delta-admissible chain is a simplicial semi-algebraic chain meeting the "faces" properly. As an application, we show that the Abel-Jacobi map for higher Chow cycles can be described via delta-admissible chains. As an example, we will describe the Hodge realization of the polylog cycles constructed by Bloch-Kriz in terms of the Abel-Jacobi map.
We study derivatives of Schur and tau functions from the view point of the Abel-Jacobi map. We apply the results to establish several properties of derivatives of the sigma function of an (n,s) curve. As byproducts we have an expression of the prime form in terms of derivatives of the sigma function and addition formulae which generalize those of Onishi for hyperelliptic sigma functions.

We consider the moduli space $\cSU_C^s(r,\cO_C)$ of rank r stable vector bundles with trivial determinant on a smooth projective curve $C$ of genus $g$. We show that the Abel-Jacobi map on the rational Chow group $CH_1(\cSU_C^s(r,\cO_C))_{hom}\otimes \Q$ of one cycles which are homologous to zero, is an isomorphism onto the bottom weight intermediate Jacobian, which is identified with the Jacobian $Jac(C)\otimes \Q$. The aim of this paper is to present an algebro-geometric approach to the study of the geometry of the moduli space of stable bundles on a smooth projective curve defined over an algebraically closed field $k$, of arbitrary characteristic. This establishes a bridge between the arithmetic approach of Harder, Narasimhan et al. and the gauge group approach of Atiyah and Bott. One of the basic ideas is to consider a notion of divisor of higher rank and a suitable Abel-Jacobi map generalizing the classical notions in rank one.
