We introduce a central extension of the preprojective algebra of a finite Dynkin quiver (depending on a regular weight for the corresponding root system), whose natural deformed version is flat (unlike that for the preprojective algebra). We calculate the Hilbert polynomial of the central extension, and show that it is a Frobenius algebra. As a corollary, we obtain the Hilbert series of the usual deformed preprojective algebra in which the deformation parameters are variables, and show that this algebra is Gorenstein (although it is not a flat module over the ring of parameters). The proofs are based on the fact that our central extension for the weight ρis the image of the quantum Heisenberg algebra in the fusion category of representations of quantum SL(2) under a tensor functor into bimodules over a semisimple algebra. Finally, we explain how our algebras are connected to cyclotomic Hecke algebras of complex reflection groups of rank 2, and in particular show that the dimension of the latter for generic parameters is equal to the order of the group, as conjectured by Broue, Malle, and Rouquier.
We determine the PBW deformations of the wreath product of a symmetric group with a deformed preprojective algebra of an affine Dynkin quiver. In particular, we show that there is precisely one parameter which does not come from deformation of the preprojective algebra. We prove that the PBW deformation is Morita equivalent to a corresponding symplectic reflection algebra for wreath product.
The purpose of this paper is to apply the theory of MV polytopes to the study of components of Lusztig's nilpotent varieties. Along the way, we introduce reflection functors for modules over the non-deformed preprojective algebra of a quiver.
This paper concerns preprojective representations of a finite connected valued quiver without oriented cycles. For each such representation, an explicit formula in terms of the geometry of the quiver gives a unique, up to a certain equivalence, shortest (+)-admissible sequence such that the corresponding composition of reflection functors annihilates the representation. The set of equivalence classes of the above sequences is a partially ordered set that contains a great deal of information about the preprojective component of the Auslander-Reiten quiver. The results apply to the study of redu…
Deformed preprojective algebras are generalizations of the usual preprojective algebras introduced by Crawley-Boevey and Holland, which have applications to Kleinian singularities, the Deligne-Simpson problem, integrable systems and noncommutative geometry. In this paper we offer three contributions to the study of such algebras: (1) the 2-Calabi-Yau property; (2) the unification of the reflection functors of Crawley-Boevey and Holland with reflection functors for the usual preprojective algebras; and (3) the classification of tilting ideals in 2-Calabi-Yau algebras, and especially in deformed…
The main result of the paper is a natural construction of the spherical subalgebra in a symplectic reflection algebra associated with a wreath-product in terms of quantum hamiltonian reduction of an algebra of differential operators on a representation space of an extended Dynkin quiver. The existence of such a construction has been conjectured in [EG]. We also present a new approach to reflection functors and shift functors for generalized preprojective algebras and symplectic reflection algebras associated with wreath-products.
We introduce "continuous deformed preprojective algebras" attached to infinite affine Dynkin quivers of type A_{\infty}, A_{+\infty}, D_{\infty}. We define a one-parameter family of deformations of the wreath product of a symmetric group with these algebras and, using the generalized McKay correspondence for infinite reductive subgroups of SL(2,C), we establish a Morita equivalence to a corresponding continuous symplectic reflection algebra of wreath product type. We give applications of this Morita equivalence to the representation theory of continuous wreath product symplectic reflection alg…
Suppose that $Q$ is a finite quiver and $G\subseteq \Aut(Q)$ is a finite group, $k$ is an algebraic closed field whose characteristic does not divide the order of $G$. For any algebra $Λ=kQ/{\mathcal {I}}$, $\mathcal {I}$ is an arbitrary ideal of path algebra $kQ$, we give all the indecomposable $ΛG$-modules from indecomposable $Λ$-modules when $G$ is abelian. In particular, we apply this result to the deformed preprojective algebra $Π_{Q}^λ$, and get a reflection functor for the module category of $Π_{Q}^λG$. Furthermore, we construct a new quiver $Q_{G}$ and prove that $Π_{Q}^λG$ is Morita e…
This paper studies connections between the preprojective representations of a valued quiver, the (+)-admissible sequences of vertices, and the Weyl group by associating to each preprojective representation a canonical (+)-admissible sequence. A (+)-admissible sequence is the canonical sequence of some preprojective representation if and only if the product of simple reflections associated to the vertices of the sequence is a reduced word in the Weyl group. As a consequence, for any Coxeter element of the Weyl group associated to an indecomposable symmetrizable generalized Cartan matrix, the gr…
This paper studies connections between the preprojective modules over the path algebra of a finite connected quiver without oriented cycles, the (+)-admissible sequences of vertices, and the Weyl group. For each preprojective module, there exists a unique up to a certain equivalence shortest (+)-admissible sequence annihilating the module. A (+)-admissible sequence is the shortest sequence annihilating some preprojective module if and only if the product of simple reflections associated to the vertices of the sequence is a reduced word in the Weyl group. These statements have the following app…
We apply tilting theory over preprojective algebras $Lambda$ to a study of moduli space of $Lambda$-modules. We define the categories of semistable modules and give an equivalence, so-called reflection functors, between them by using tilting modules over $Lambda$. Moreover we prove that the equivalence induces an isomorphism of algebraic varieties between moduli spaces. In particular, we study in the case when the moduli spaces related to the Kleinian singularity. We generalize a result of Crawley-Boevey which is known another proof of the McKay correspondence of Ito-Nakamura type.
For any valued quiver, by using BGP-reflection functors, an injection from the set of preprojective objects in the cluster category to the set of cluster variables of the corresponding cluster algebra is given, the images are called preprojective cluster variables. It is proved that all preprojective cluster variables have denominators $u^{\underline{dim}M}$ in their irreducible fractions of integral polynomials, where $M$ is the corresponding preprojective module or preinjective module. If the quiver is of Dynkin type, we generalize the denominator theorem in [FZ2] to any seed, and also gener…
We construct reflection functors on categories of modules over deformed wreath products of the preprojective algebra of a quiver. These functors give equivalences of categories associated to generic parameters which are in the same orbit under the Weyl group action. We give applications to the representation theory of symplectic reflection algebras of wreath product groups.
We construct functorially a class of algebras using the formalism of double derivations. These algebras extend to higher dimensions Crawley-Boevey and Holland's construction of deformed preprojective algebras and encompass symplectic reflection algebras associated to wreath products. We use this construction to show that the quotient field of a symplectic reflection algebra is "rational", confirming a pair of conjectures of Etingof and Ginzburg.
Given a symmetrizable generalized Cartan matrix $A$, for any index $k$, one can define an automorphism associated with $A,$ of the field $\mathbf{Q}(u_1, >..., u_n)$ of rational functions of $n$ independent indeterminates $u_1,..., u_n.$ It is an isomorphism between two cluster algebras associated to the matrix $A$ (see section 4 for precise meaning). When $A$ is of finite type, these isomorphisms behave nicely, they are compatible with the BGP-reflection functors of cluster categories defined in [Z1, Z2] if we identify the indecomposable objects in the categories with cluster variables of the…
The concept of reflection positivity has its origins in the work of Osterwalder--Schrader on constructive quantum field theory. It is a fundamental tool to construct a relativistic quantum field theory as a unitary representation of the Poincare group from a non-relativistic field theory as a representation of the euclidean motion group. This is the second article in a series on the mathematical foundations of reflection positivity. We develop the theory of reflection positive one-parameter groups and the dual theory of dilations of contractive hermitian semigroups. In particular, we connect r…
For any finite-dimensional Hopf algebra $A$ there exists a natural associative algebra homomorphism $D(A) \to H(A)$ between its Drinfeld double $D(A)$ and its Heisenberg double $H(A)$. We construct this homomorphism using a pair of commuting quantum moment maps, and then use it to provide a homomorphism of certain reflection equation algebras. We also explain how the quantization of the Grothendieck-Springer resolution arises in this context.
We construct a Q-operator for the open XXZ Heisenberg quantum spin chain with diagonal boundary conditions and give a rigorous derivation of Baxter's TQ relation. Key roles in the theory are played by a particular infinite-dimensional solution of the reflection equation and by short exact sequences of intertwiners of the standard Borel subalgebras of $U_q(\widehat{\mathfrak{sl}_2})$. The resulting Bethe equations are the same as those arising from Sklyanin's algebraic Bethe ansatz.
We consider the following class of unitary representations $π$ of some (real) Lie group $G$ which has a matched pair of symmetries described as follows: (i) Suppose $G$ has a period-2 automorphism $τ$, and that the Hilbert space $\mathbf{H} (π)$ carries a unitary operator $J$ such that $Jπ=(π\circ τ)J$ (i.e., selfsimilarity). (ii) An added symmetry is implied if $\mathbf{H} (π)$ further contains a closed subspace $\mathbf{K}_0 $ having a certain order-covariance property, and satisfying the $\mathbf{K}_0 $-restricted positivity: $< v \mid Jv > \ge 0$, $\forall v\in \mathbf{K}_0 $, where $< \cd…
We define a class of quantum linear Galois algebras which include the universal enveloping algebra Uq(gln), the quantum Heisenberg Lie algebra and other quantum orthogonal Gelfand-Zetlin algebras of type A, the subalgebras of G-invariants of the quantum affine space, quantum torus for G = G(m, p, n), and of the quantum Weyl algebra for G = Sn. We show that all quantum linear Galois algebras satisfy the quantum Gelfand-Kirillov conjecture. Moreover, it is shown that the the subalgebras of invariants of the quantum affine space and of quantum torus for the reflection groups and of the quantum We…
