We consider algebras $e_i Π^λ(Q) e_i$ obtained from deformed preprojective algebra of affine type $Π^λ(Q)$ and an idempotent $e_i$ for certain concrete value of the vector $λ$ which corresponds to the traces of $-1\in SU(2, C)$ in irreducible representations of finite subgroups of $SU(2, C)$. We give a certain realization of these algebras which allows us to construct the $C^*$-enveloping algebras for them. Some well-known results, including description of four projections with sum 2 happen to be a particular case of this picture.
We prove that every deformed preprojective algebra of Dynkin type $\mathbb{E}_6$ is isomorphic to the preprojective algebra of Dynkin type $\mathbb{E}_6$.
We provide a complete classification of finite-dimensional self-injective algebras which are socle equivalent to preprojective algebras of generalized Dynkin type. In particular, we conclude that these algebras are deformed preprojective algebras of generalized Dynkin type (in the sense of [5, 12]), and hence are periodic algebras.
We determine the PBW deformations of the wreath product of a symmetric group with a deformed preprojective algebra of an affine Dynkin quiver. In particular, we show that there is precisely one parameter which does not come from deformation of the preprojective algebra. We prove that the PBW deformation is Morita equivalent to a corresponding symplectic reflection algebra for wreath product.
We construct a numeric algorithm for completing the proof of a conjecture asserting that all deformed preprojective algebras of generalized Dynkin type are periodic. In particular, we obtain an algorithmic procedure showing that non-trivial deformed preprojective algebras of Dynkin types $\mathbb{E}_7$ and $\mathbb{E}_8$ exist only in characteristic 2. As a consequence, we show that deformed preprojective algebras of Dynkin types $\mathbb{E}_6$, $\mathbb{E}_7$ and $\mathbb{E}_8$ are periodic and we obtain an algorithm for a classification of such algebras, up to algebra isomorphism. We do it b…
Deformed preprojective algebras are generalizations of the usual preprojective algebras introduced by Crawley-Boevey and Holland, which have applications to Kleinian singularities, the Deligne-Simpson problem, integrable systems and noncommutative geometry. In this paper we offer three contributions to the study of such algebras: (1) the 2-Calabi-Yau property; (2) the unification of the reflection functors of Crawley-Boevey and Holland with reflection functors for the usual preprojective algebras; and (3) the classification of tilting ideals in 2-Calabi-Yau algebras, and especially in deformed…
Suppose that $Q$ is a finite quiver and $G\subseteq \Aut(Q)$ is a finite group, $k$ is an algebraic closed field whose characteristic does not divide the order of $G$. For any algebra $Λ=kQ/{\mathcal {I}}$, $\mathcal {I}$ is an arbitrary ideal of path algebra $kQ$, we give all the indecomposable $ΛG$-modules from indecomposable $Λ$-modules when $G$ is abelian. In particular, we apply this result to the deformed preprojective algebra $Π_{Q}^λ$, and get a reflection functor for the module category of $Π_{Q}^λG$. Furthermore, we construct a new quiver $Q_{G}$ and prove that $Π_{Q}^λG$ is Morita e…
Bialkowski, Erdmann and Skowronski classified those indecomposable self-injective algebras for which the Nakayama shift of every (non-projective) simple module is isomorphic to its third syzygy. It turned out that these are precisely the deformations, in a suitable sense, of preprojective algebras associated to the simply laced ADE Dynkin diagrams and of another graph L_n, which also occurs in the Happel-Preiser-Ringel classification of subadditive but not additive functions. In this paper we study these deformed preprojective algebras of type L via their Kuelshammer spaces, for which we give …
We give an interpretation of the $(q,t)$-deformed Cartan matrices of finite type and their inverses in terms of bigraded modules over the generalized preprojective algebras of Langlands dual type in the sense of Geiß-Leclerc-Schröer [Invent. math. 209 (2017)]. As an application, we compute the first extension groups between the generic kernels introduced by Hernandez-Leclerc [J. Eur. Math. Soc. 18 (2016)], and propose a conjecture that their dimensions coincide with the pole orders of the normalized $R$-matrices between the corresponding Kirillov-Reshetikhin modules.
The aim of this paper is to clarify the relation between the following objects: $ (a) $ rank 1 projective modules (ideals) over the first Weyl algebra $ A_1(\C)$; $ (b) $ simple modules over deformed preprojective algebras $ Π_λ(Q) $ introduced by Crawley-Boevey and Holland; and $ (c) $ simple modules over the rational Cherednik algebras $ H_{0,c}(S_n) $ associated to symmetric groups. The isomorphism classes of each type of these objects can be parametrized geometrically by the same space (namely, the Calogero-Moser algebraic varieties); however, no natural functors between the corresponding …
The purpose of this paper is to apply the theory of MV polytopes to the study of components of Lusztig's nilpotent varieties. Along the way, we introduce reflection functors for modules over the non-deformed preprojective algebra of a quiver.
The work of the first author on the moment map for representations of quivers included a classification of the possible dimension vectors of simple modules for deformed preprojective algebras. That classification was later used to solve an additive analogue of the Deligne-Simpson problem. The last step in the proof of the classification involved some general position arguments; here we give a new approach which avoids such arguments.
We introduce and study a fermionization procedure for the cohomological Hall algebra $\mathcal{H}_{Π_Q}$ of representations of a preprojective algebra, that selectively switches the cohomological parity of the BPS Lie algebra from even to odd. We do so by determining the cohomological Donaldson--Thomas invariants of central extensions of preprojective algebras studied in the work of Etingof and Rains, via deformed dimensional reduction. Via the same techniques, we determine the Borel-Moore homology of the stack of representations of the $μ$-deformed preprojective algebra introduced by Crawley-…
We introduce a central extension of the preprojective algebra of a finite Dynkin quiver (depending on a regular weight for the corresponding root system), whose natural deformed version is flat (unlike that for the preprojective algebra). We calculate the Hilbert polynomial of the central extension, and show that it is a Frobenius algebra. As a corollary, we obtain the Hilbert series of the usual deformed preprojective algebra in which the deformation parameters are variables, and show that this algebra is Gorenstein (although it is not a flat module over the ring of parameters). The proofs ar…
This paper concerns preprojective representations of a finite connected valued quiver without oriented cycles. For each such representation, an explicit formula in terms of the geometry of the quiver gives a unique, up to a certain equivalence, shortest (+)-admissible sequence such that the corresponding composition of reflection functors annihilates the representation. The set of equivalence classes of the above sequences is a partially ordered set that contains a great deal of information about the preprojective component of the Auslander-Reiten quiver. The results apply to the study of redu…
We introduce "continuous deformed preprojective algebras" attached to infinite affine Dynkin quivers of type A_{\infty}, A_{+\infty}, D_{\infty}. We define a one-parameter family of deformations of the wreath product of a symmetric group with these algebras and, using the generalized McKay correspondence for infinite reductive subgroups of SL(2,C), we establish a Morita equivalence to a corresponding continuous symplectic reflection algebra of wreath product type. We give applications of this Morita equivalence to the representation theory of continuous wreath product symplectic reflection alg…
For a certain class of (nonunital) subalgebras of deformed preprojective algebra of affine type we describe their centers as certain deformation of Kleinian singularity and find their PI-degree. These results can be applied to algebras generated by elements with given spectrum and scalar sum.
For the Kronecker algebra, Zwara found in [14] an example of a module whose orbit closure is neither unibranch nor Cohen-Macaulay. In this paper, we explain how to extend this example to all representation-infinite algebras with a preprojective component.
We define and investigate deformed n-Calabi-Yau completions of homologically smooth differential graded (=dg) categories. Important examples are: deformed preprojective algebras of connected non Dynkin quivers, Ginzburg dg algebras associated to quivers with potentials and dg categories associated to the category of coherent sheaves on the canonical bundle of a smooth variety. We show that deformed Calabi-Yau completions do have the Calabi-Yau property and that their construction is compatible with derived equivalences and with localizations. In particular, Ginzburg dg algebras have the Calabi…
Recently V. Ginzburg proved that Calogero phase space is a coadjoint orbit for some infinite dimensional Lie algebra coming from noncommutative symplectic geometry. In this note we generalize this argument to specific quotient varieties of representations of (deformed) preprojective algebras. This result was also obtained independently by V. Ginzburg.
Two geometric interpretations of the bar automorphism in the positive part of a quantized enveloping algebra are given. The first is in terms of numbers of rational points over finite fields of quiver analogues of orbital varieties; the second is in terms of a duality of constructible functions provided by preprojective varieties of quivers.
From the viewpoint of higher dimensional Auslander-Reiten theory, we introduce a new class of finite dimensional algebras of global dimension n, which we call n-representation infinite. They are a certain analog of representation infinite hereditary algebras, and we study three important classes of modules: n-preprojective, n-preinjective and n-regular modules. We observe that their homological behaviour is quite interesting. For instance they provide first examples of algebras having infinite Ext^1-orthogonal families of modules. Moreover we give general constructions of n-representation infi…
We define Poisson structures on certain transversal slices to conjugacy classes in complex simple algebraic groups introduced in arXiv:0809.0205. These slices are associated to the elements of the Weyl group, and the Poisson structures on them are analogous to the Poisson structures introduced by J. de Boer, T. Tjin and A. Premet in papers arXiv:hep-th/9211109 and http://www.maths.man.ac.uk/DeptWeb/Homepages/aap/Reprints/Transverse.ps on the Slodowy slices in complex simple Lie algebras. The quantum deformations of these Poisson structures are known as W-algebras of finite type. As an applicat…
A representation of a specialization of a q-deformed class one lattice gl(\ell+1}-Whittaker function in terms of cohomology groups of line bundles on the space QM_d(P^{\ell}) of quasi-maps P^1 to P^{\ell} of degree d is proposed. For \ell=1, this provides an interpretation of non-specialized q-deformed gl(2)-Whittaker function in terms of QM_d(\IP^1). In particular the (q-version of) Mellin-Barnes representation of gl(2)-Whittaker function is realized as a semi-infinite period map. The explicit form of the period map manifests an important role of q-version of Gamma-function as a substitute of…
We investigate point arrangements $v_i\in\mathbb R^d,i\in \{1,...,n \}$ with certain prescribed symmetries. The arrangement space of $v$ is the column span of the matrix in which the $v_i$ are the rows. We characterize properties of $v$ in terms of the arrangement space, e.g. we characterize whether an arrangement possesses certain symmetries or whether it can be continuously deformed into another arrangement while preserving symmetry in the process. We show that whether a symmetric arrangement can be continuously deformed into its mirror image depends non-trivially on several factors, e.g. th…
