In our previous paper, we constructed an explicit GL(n)-equivariant quantization of the Kirillov--Kostant-Souriau bracket on a semisimple coadjoint orbit. In the present paper, we realize that quantization as a subalgebra of endomorphisms of a generalized Verma module. As a corollary, we obtain an explicit description of the annihilators of generalized Verma modules over U(gl(n)). As an application, we construct real forms of the quantum orbits and classify finite dimensional representations. We compute the non-commutative Connes index for basic homogenous vector bundles over the quantum orbits.

It is known that symmetric orbits in ${\bf g}^*$ for any simple Lie algebra ${\bf g}$ are equiped with a Poisson pencil generated by the Kirillov-Kostant-Souriau bracket and the reduced Sklyanin bracket associated to the "canonical" R-matrix. We realize quantization of this Poisson pencil on $\cp$ type orbits (i.e. orbits in $sl(n+1)^*$ whose real compact form is $ CP^n$) by means of q-deformed Verma modules.
In this paper we discuss continuity properties of the Wick-type star product on the 2-sphere, interpreted as a coadjoint orbit. Star products on coadjoint orbits in general have been constructed by different techniques. We compare the constructions of Alekseev-Lachowska and Karabegov and we prove that they agree in general. In the case of the 2-sphere we establish the continuity of the star product, thereby allowing for a completion to a Fréchet algebra.
We study relations between the two-parameter $\U_q(sl(n))$-invariant deformation quantization on $sl^*(n)$ and the reflection equation algebra. The latter is described by a quantum permutation on $\End(\C^n)$ given explicitly. The reflection equation algebra is used for constructing the one-parameter quantization on coadjoint orbits, including symmetric and certain bisymmetric and nilpotent ones. Our approach is based on embedding the quantized function algebras on the orbits into the algebra of functions on the quantum group $SL_q(n)$ via reflection equation algebra characters.

In this paper we describe a multiparameter deformation of the function algebra of a semisimple coadjoint orbit. In the first section we use the representation of the Lie algebra on a generalized Verma module to quantize the Kirillov bracket on the family of semisimple coadjoint orbits of a given orbit type. We study one and two parameter quantizations of the function algebra on a semisimple orbit in the coadjoint representation of a simple Lie group subject to the condition that the multiplication on the quantized algebra is invariant under action of the Drinfeld-Jimbo quantum group. We prove that the corresponding Poisson bracket must be the sum of the so-called R-matrix bracket and an invariant bracket. In this paper we develop two coadjoint orbit constructions for the phase spaces of the generalised $Sl(2)$ and $Sl(3)$ KdV hierachies. This involves the construction of two group actions in terms of Yang Baxter operators, and an Hamiltonian reduction of the coadjoint orbits. The Poisson brackets are reproduced by the Kirillov construction. From this construction we obtain a `natural' gauge fixing proceedure for the generalised hierarchies.

In this paper we consider the problem of deformation quantization of the algebra of polynomial functions on coadjoint orbits of semisimple lie groups. The deformation of an orbit is realized by taking the quotient of the universal enveloping algebra of the Lie algebra of the given Lie group, by a suitable ideal. A comparison with geometric quantization in the case of SU(2) is done where both methods agree.

In this paper we construct quantum analogs of strata of coadjoint orbits and describe their representations. This kind objects play an important role in describing quantum groups as repeated extensions of quantum strata.
Deformation quantization and geometric quantization on Kähler manifolds give the mathematical description of the algebra of quantum observables and the Hilbert spaces respectively, where the later forms a representation of quantum observables asymptotically via Toeplitz operators. When there is a Hamiltonian $G$-action on a Kähler manifold, there are associated symmetries on both the quantum algebra and representation aspects. We show that in nice cases of coadjoint orbits and Kähler-Einstein manifolds, these symmetries are strictly compatible (not only asymptotically).

We show that untwisted respectively twisted conjugacy classes of a compact and simply connected Lie group which satisfy a certain integrality condition correspond naturally to irreducible highest weight representations of the corresponding affine Lie algebra. Along the way, review the classification of twisted conjugacy classes of a simply connected compact Lie group $G$ and give a description of their stabilizers in terms of the Dynkin diagram of the corresponding twisted affine Lie algebra.

The quantization of vector bundles is defined. Examples are constructed for the well controlled case of equivariant vector bundles over compact coadjoint orbits. (Coadjoint orbits are symplectic spaces with a transitive, semisimple symmetry group.) In preparation for the main result, the quantization of coadjoint orbits is discussed in detail. This subject should not be confused with the quantization of the total space of a vector bundle such as the cotangent bundle.
