We prove in this paper that the periodic cyclic homology of the quantized algebras of functions on coadjoint orbits of connected and simply connected Lie group, are isomorphic to the periodic cyclic homology of the quantized algebras of functions on coadjoint orbits of compact maximal subgroups, without localization. Some noncompact quantum groups and algebras were constructed and their irreducible representations were classified in recent works of Do Ngoc Diep and Nguyen Viet Hai, and Do Duc Hanh by using deformation quantization. In this paper we compute their K-groups, periodic cyclic homology groups and their Chern characters.
We present an approach to cyclic homology of A_{\infty} algebras. Our main technical tool is the concept of X-complex due to Cuntz and Quillen. This, in particular, enables us to compute the periodic cyclic homology of an A_{\infty} algebra in terms of the periodic cyclic homology of its homology.
Let H be a Hopf algebra. By definition a modular crossed H-module is a vector space M on which H acts and coacts in a compatible way. To every modular crossed H-module M we associate a cyclic object Z(H,M). The cyclic homology of Z(H,M) extends the usual cyclic homology of the algebra structure of H, and the relative cyclic homology of an H-Galois extension. For a Hopf subalgebra K we compute, under some assumptions, the cyclic homology of an induced modular crossed module. The cyclic (co)homology of Hopf algebras is defined by Connes and Moscovici [math.DG/9806109] and later extended by Khalkhali et.al [math.KT/0306288] to admit stable anti-Yetter-Drinfeld coefficient module/comodules. In this paper we will show that one can further extend the cyclic homology of Hopf algebras with coefficients non-trivially. The new homology, called the bialgebra cyclic homology, admits stable coefficient module/comodules, dropping the anti-Yetter-Drinfeld condition. The goal of this article is to explicitly compute the Hochschild (co)homology of the Fomin-Kirillov algebra on three generators over a field of characteristic different from 2 and 3. We also obtain the cyclic (co)homology of the Fomin-Kirillov algebra in case the characteristic of the field is zero. Moreover, we compute the algebra structure of the Hochschild cohomology.

In this paper, we establish the invariance of cyclic (co)homology of left Hopf algebroids under the change of Morita equivalent base algebras. The classical result on Morita invariance for cyclic homology of associative algebras appears as a special example of this theory. For any strong smash product algebra $A\#_{_R}B$ of two algebras $A$ and $B$ with a bijective morphism $R$ mapping from $B\ot A$ to $A\ot B$, we construct a cylindrical module $A\natural B$ whose diagonal cyclic module $Δ_{\bullet}(A\natural B)$ is graphically proven to be isomorphic to $C_{\bullet}(A\#_{_R}B)$ the cyclic module of the algebra. A spectral sequence is established to converge to the cyclic homology of $A\#_{_R}B$. Examples are provided to show how our results work. Particularly, the cyclic homology of the Pareigis' Hopf algebra is obtained in the way.
We define equivariant periodic cyclic homology for bornological quantum groups. Generalizing corresponding results from the group case, we show that the theory is homotopy invariant, stable and satisfies excision in both variables. Along the way we prove Radfords formula for the antipode of a bornological quantum group. Moreover we discuss anti-Yetter-Drinfeld modules and establish an analogue of the Takesaki-Takai duality theorem in the setting of bornological quantum groups.

Using a smooth version of the Connes--Thom isomorphism in Grensing's bivariant K-theory for locally convex algebras, we prove an equivariant version of the Connes--Thom isomorphism in periodic cyclic homology. As an application, we prove that periodic cyclic homology is invariant with respect to equivariant strict deformation quantization.
The spectral theory of the Karoubi operator due to Cuntz and Quillen is extended to general mixed (duchain) complexes, that is, chain complexes which are simultaneously cochain complexes. Connes' coboundary map B can be viewed as a perturbation of the noncommutative De Rham differential d by a polynomial in the Karoubi operator. The homological impact of such perturbations is expressed in terms of two short exact sequences.
A cyclic cohomology theory adapted to Hopf algebras has been introduced recently by Connes and Moscovici. In this paper, we consider this object in the homological framework, in the spirit of Loday-Quillen and Karoubi's work on the cyclic homology of associative algebras. In the case of group algebras, we interpret the decomposition of the classical cyclic homology of a group algebra in terms of this homology. We also compute both cyclic homologies for truncated quiver algebras.
We give a description of cyclic cohomology and its pairing with K-groups for 2-cocycle deformation of algebras graded over discrete groups. The proof relies on a realization of monodromy for the Gauss-Manin connection on periodic cyclic cohomology in terms of the cup product action of group cohomology.
We study the curved Koszul duality theory for associative algebras presented by quadratic-linear-constant (QLC) relations. As an application, we investigate the cyclic (co)homology of a QLC algebra and its Koszul dual curved DG algebra, and extend a result due to Feigin and Tsygan. In this note we extend the cyclic homology functor, and in particular the periodic cyclic homology, to the category of DG (= differential graded) coalgebras. We describe the Connes exact sequence in this setting. We define equivariant Deligne cohomology and construct, for each n > 0, a natural map from cyclic homology of an algebra to the GL_n-equivariant Deligne cohomology of the variety of n-dimensional representations of that algebra. In this paper, we compute the cyclic homology of the Taft algebras and of their Auslander algebras. Given a Hopf algebra $Λ,$ the Grothendieck groups of projective $Λ-$modules and of all $Λ-$modules are endowed with a ring structure, which in the case of the Taft algebras is commutative (\cite{C2}, \cite{G}). We also describe the first Chern character for these algebras.

An arbitrary Leibniz algebra can be embedded in a differential graded Lie algebra via the derived bracket construction. Such an embedding is called a derived bracket representation. We will construct the universal version of the derived bracket representation, prove that the principal part of the target dg Lie algebra defines a subcomplex of Leibniz (co)homology complex and that the existence of the subcomplex is a reflection of the anti-cyclicity of the Leibniz operad.

Let A be the central extension of the preprojective algebra of an ADE quiver introduced by P. Etingof and E. Rains in math/0503393. The paper math/0606403 computes the structure of the zeroth Hochschild (co)homology of A. We generalize the results of math/0606403 by calculating the additive structure of all the Hochschild homology and cohomology groups of A and the cyclic homology of A, and to describe the universal deformation of A. Namely, we show that the (co)homology is periodic with period 4, and compute the first four (co)homology groups in each case.
We study a noncommutative version of the infinitesimal site of Grothendieck. A theorem of Grothendieck establishes that the cohomology of the structure sheaf on the infinitesimal topology of a scheme of characteristic zero is de Rham cohomology. We prove that, for the noncommutative infinitesimal topology of an associative algebra over a field of characteristic zero, the cohomology of the structure sheaf modulo commutators is periodic cyclic cohomology. One of the predictions of the AdS/CFT correspondence is the matching of protected operators between a superconformal field theory and its holographic dual. We review the spectrum of protected operators in quiver gauge theories that flow to superconformal field theories at low energies. The spectrum is determined by the cyclic homology of an algebra associated to the quiver gauge theory. Identifying the spectrum of operators with cyclic homology allows us to apply the Hochschild-Kostant-Rosenberg theorem to relate the cyclic homology groups to deRham cohomology groups. We present a new approach to cyclic homology that does not involve the Connes differential and is based on a `noncommutative equivariant de Rham complex' of an associative algebra. Let $M$ be an exact symplectic manifold with contact type boundary such that $c_1(M)=0$. In this paper we show that the cyclic cohomology of the Fukaya category of $M$ has the structure of an involutive Lie bialgebra. Inspired by a work of Cieliebak-Latschev we show that there is a Lie bialgebra homomorphism from the linearized contact homology of $M$ to the cyclic cohomology of the Fukaya category. Our study is also motivated by string topology and 2-dimensional topological conformal field theory.
We will consider P-graph complexes, where P is a cyclic operad. P-graph complexes are natural generalizations of Kontsevich's graph complexes -- for P = the operad for associative algebras it is the complex of ribbon graphs, for P = the operad for commutative associative algebras, the complex of all graphs. We construct a `universal class' in the cohomology of the graph complex with coefficients in a theory. We calculate the twisted Hochschild and cyclic homology (in the sense of Kustermans, Murphy and Tuset) of all Podles quantum spheres relative to arbitary automorphisms. Our calculations are based on a free resolution due to Masuda, Nakagami and Watanabe. The dimension drop in Hochschild homology can be overcome by twisting by automorphisms induced from the canonical modular automorphism associated to the Haar state on quantum SU(2). We specialize our results to the standard quantum sphere, and identify the class in twisted cyclic cohomology of the 2-cocycle discovered by Schmuedgen and Wagner …
Given a monad and a comonad, one obtains a distributive law between them from lifts of one through an adjunction for the other. In particular, this yields for any bialgebroid the Yetter-Drinfel'd distributive law between the comonad given by a module coalgebra and the monad given by a comodule algebra. We compute the Hochschild homology and cohomology, and cyclic homology, of almost Calabi-Yau algebras for SU(3) ADE graphs. These almost Calabi-Yau algebras are a higher rank analogue of the pre-projective algebras for Dynkin diagrams, which are SU(2)-related constructions. The Hochschild (co)homology and cyclic homology of A can be regarded as invariants for the braided subfactors associated to the SU(3) modular invariants.
