The notion of a Lie conformal superalgebra encodes an axiomatic descrption of singular parts of the operator product expansions of chiral fields in conformal field theory. In the paper we give a detailed proof of the classification of all finite simple Lie conformal superalgebras. We also classify all their central extensions.
In this paper, we introduce the representation theory of $δ$-Hom-Jordan Lie conformal superalgebras and discuss the cases of adjoint representations. Furthermore, we develop the cohomology theory of Hom-Lie conformal superalgebras and discuss some applications to the study of deformations of regular $δ$-Hom-Jordan Lie conformal superalgebras. Finally, we introduce derivations of multiplicative $δ$-Hom-Jordan Lie conformal superalgebras and study their properties.
We introduce the formalism of differential conformal superalgebras, which we show leads to the "correct" automorphism group functor and accompanying descent theory in the conformal setting. As an application, we classify forms of N=2 and N=4 conformal superalgebras by means of Galois cohomology.
We obtain an embedding of a one-parameter family of exceptional simple Lie superalgebras $D(2, 1 ; α)$ into the Lie superalgebra of pseudodifferential symbols on the supercircle $S^{1|2}$. Correspondingly, there is an embedding of $D(2, 1 ; α)$ into a nontrivial central extension of the derived contact superconformal algebra $K'(4)$ realized in terms of $4\times 4$ matrices over a Weyl algebra.
In this paper, we shall classify ``quadratic'' conformal superalgebras by certain compatible pairs of a Lie superalgebra and a Novikov superalgebra.Four general constructions of such pairs are given. Moreover, we shall classify such pairs related to simple Novikov algebras.
In this paper, we give a generalization of results in \cite{PU07} and \cite{DPU10} by applying the tools of graded Lie algebras to quadratic Lie superalgebras. In this way, we obtain a numerical invariant of quadratic Lie superalgebras and a classification of singular quadratic Lie superalgebras, i.e. those with a nonzero invariant. Finally, we study a class of quadratic Lie superalgebras obtained by the method of generalized double extensions.
The purpose of this paper is to introduce and study super Hom-Gel'fand-Dorfman bialgebras and Hom-Lie conformal superalgebras. In this paper, we provide different ways for constructing super Hom-Gel'fand-Dorfman bialgebras and obtain some infinite-dimensional Hom-Lie superalgebras from affinization of super Hom-Gel'fand-Dorfman bialgebras. Also, we give a general construction of Hom-Lie conformal superalgebras from Hom-Lie superalgebras and establish equivalence of quadratic Hom-Lie conformal superalgebras and super Hom-Gel'fand-Dorfman bialgebras. Finally, we characterize one-dimensional cent…
We classify all continuous degenerate irreducible modules over the exceptional linearly compact Lie superalgebra E(1, 6), and all finite degenerate irreducible modules over the exceptional Lie conformal superalgebra CK6, for which E(1, 6) is the annihilation algebra.
Any simple Lie superalgebras over the complex field can be constructed from some triple systems. Examples of Lie superalgebras $D(2,1;α)$, G(3) and F(4) are given by utilizing a general construction method based upon $(-1,-1)$ balanced Freudenthal-Kantor triple system.
We introduce the notion of omni-Lie superalgebra as a super version of the omni-Lie algebra introduced by Weinstein. This algebraic structure gives a nontrivial example of Leibniz superalgebra and Lie 2-superalgebra. We prove that there is a one-to-one correspondence between Dirac structures of the omni-Lie superalgebra and Lie superalgebra structures on subspaces of a super vector space.
In this paper, we construct six families of infinite simple conformal superalgebra of finite growth based on our earlier work on constructing vertex operator superalgebras from graded assocaitive algebras. Three subfamilies of these conformal superalgebras are generated by simple Jordan algebras of types A, B and C in a certain sense.
In this paper, all symmetric super-biderivations of some Lie superalgebras are determined. As an application, commutative post-Lie superalgebra structures on these Lie superalgebras are also obtained.
We revisit the construction of conformal field theories based on Takiff algebras and superalgebras that was introduced by Babichenko and Ridout. Takiff superalgebras can be thought of as truncated current superalgebras with Z-grading which arise from taking p copies of a Lie superalgebra g and placing them in the degrees s=0,...,p-1. Using suitably defined non-degenerate invariant forms we show that Takiff superalgebras give rise to families of conformal field theories with central charge c=p sdim(g). The resulting conformal field theories are defined in the standard way, i.e. they lend themse…
In this paper, we first give the definiton of a vertex superalgebroid. Then we construct a family of vertex superalgebras associated to vertex superalgebroids. As a main result, we find a sufficient and necessary condition that this vertex superalgebras are semi-conformal. In addition, we give an concrete example of this vertex superalgebras and apply our results to this superalgebra.
In this paper, we study Rota-Baxter operators and super $\mathcal{O}$-operator of associative superalgebras, Lie superalgebras, pre-Lie superalgebras and $L$-dendriform superalgebras. Then we give some properties of pre-Lie superalgebras constructed from associative superalgebras, Lie superalgebras and $L$-dendriform superalgebras. Moreover, we provide all Rota-Baxter operators of weight zero on complex pre-Lie superalgebras of dimensions $2$ and $3$.
We show that the first-order symmetry operators of twistor spinors can be constructed from conformal Killing-Yano forms in conformally-flat backgrounds. We express the conditions on conformal Killing-Yano forms to obtain mutually commuting symmetry operators of twistor spinors. Conformal superalgebras which consist of conformal Killing vectors and twistor spinors and play important roles in supersymmetric field theories in conformal backgrounds are extended to more general superalgebras by using the graded Lie algebra structure of conformal Killing-Yano forms and the symmetry operators of twis…
We use the manifestly conformally invariant description of a Lorentzian conformal structure in terms of a parabolic Cartan geometry in order to introduce a superalgebra structure on the space of twistor spinors and normal conformal vector fields formulated in purely algebraic terms on parallel sections in tractor bundles. Via a fixed metric in the conformal class, one reproduces a conformal superalgebra structure which has been considered in the literature before. The tractor approach, however, makes clear that the failure of this object to be a Lie superalgebra in certain cases is due to pure…
Symmetry algebras of Killing vector fields and conformal Killing vectors fields can be extended to Killing-Yano and conformal Killing-Yano superalgebras in constant curvature manifolds. By defining $\mathbb{Z}$-gradations and filtrations of these superalgebras, we show that the second cohomology groups of them are trivial and they cannot be deformed to other Lie superalgebras. This shows the rigidity of Killing-Yano and conformal Killing-Yano superalgebras and reveals the fact that they correspond to geometric invariants of constant curvature manifolds. We discuss the structures and dimensions…
An N=4 supersymmetric extension of the l-conformal Galilei algebra is constructed. This is achieved by combining generators of spatial symmetries from the l-conformal Galilei algebra and those underlying the most general superconformal group in one dimension D(2,1;a). The value of the group parameter a is fixed from the requirement that the resulting superalgebra is finite-dimensional. The analysis reveals a=-1/2 thus reducing D(2,1;a) to OSp(4|2).
A Lie superalgebra endowed with a supersymmetric, even, non-degenerate, invariant bilinear form is called a quadratic Lie superalgebra. In this paper we give inductive descriptions of quadratic Lie superalgebras in terms of generalized double extensions.
A class of non-semisimple extensions of Lie superalgebras is studied. They are obtained by adjoining to the superalgebra its adjoint representation as an abelian ideal. When the superalgebra is of affine Kac-Moody type, a generalisation of Sugawara's construction is shown to give rise to a copy of the Virasoro algebra and so, presumably, to a conformal field theory. Evidence for this is detailed for the extension of the affinisation of the superalgebra gl(1|1): Its highest weight irreducible modules are classified using spectral flow, the irreducible supercharacters are computed and a continuu…
In this article we show that distributive law holds for non-abelian tensor product of Lie superalgebras under certain direct sums. There by we obtain a rule for non-abelian exterior square of a Lie superalgebra. We define capable Lie superalgebra and then give some characterization. Specifically we prove that epicenter of a Lie superalgebra is equal to exterior center. Finally we classify all capable Lie superalgebras whose derived subalgebra dimension is at most one. As an application to those results we have shown that there exists at least one non-abelian nilpotent capable Lie superalgebra …
A well-known fact is that there does not exist any compatible left-symmetric structures on a finite-dimensional complex semisimple Lie algebra (see \cite{Chu1974}). This result is not valid in semisimple Lie superalgebra case. In this paper, we study the compatible Left-symmetric superalgebra (LSSA for short) structures on complex simple Lie superalgebras. We prove that there is not any compatible LSSA structure on a finite-dimensional complex simple Lie superalgebra except for the classical simple Lie superalgebra $A(m,n)(m\neq n)$ and Cartan simple Lie superalgebra $W(n)(n\geq 3)$. We also c…
The purpose of this paper is to study Virasoro extensions of the q-deformed Witt Hom-Lie superalgebra. Moreover, we provide the cohomology and deformations of the Ramond Hom-superalgebra and special Ramond Hom-superalgebra.
By applying Niederer--like transformation, we construct a representation of the N=2 l-conformal Newton-Hooke superalgebra for the case of a negative cosmological constant in terms of linear differential operators as well as its dynamical realization. Another variant of N=2 supersymmetric Pais-Uhlenbeck oscillator for a particular choice of its frequencies is proposed. The advantages of such realizations as compared to their analogues introduced in [J. Math. Phys. 53 (2012) 072904], [J. Math. Phys. 56 (2015) 022902] are discussed.
We classify the N = 1, 2, 3 superconformal Lie algebras of Schwimmer and Seiberg by means of differential non-abelian cohomology, and describe the general philosophy behind this new technique. The structure of the group (functor) of automorphisms of the corresponding Lie conformal superalgebra is a key ingredient of the proof.
N=4 supersymmetric extensions of the l-conformal Galilei algebra are constructed by properly extending the Lie superalgebra associated with the most general N=4 superconformal group in one dimension D(2,1;a). If the acceleration generators in the superalgebra form analogues of the irreducible (1,4,3)-, (2,4,2)-, (3,4,1)-, and (4,4,0)-supermultiplets of D(2,1;a), the parameter a turns out to be constrained by the Jacobi identities. In contrast, if the tower of the acceleration generators resembles a component decomposition of a generic real superfield, which is a reducible representation of D(2…
We introduce a class of novel $\mathbb{Z}_2 \times \mathbb{Z}_2$-graded color superalgebras of infinite dimension. It is done by realizing each member of the class in the universal enveloping algebra of a Lie superalgebra which is a module extension of the Virasoro algebra. Then the complete classification of central extensions of the $\mathbb{Z}_2 \times \mathbb{Z}_2$-graded color superalgebras is presented. It turns out that infinitely many members of the class have non-trivial extensions. We also demonstrate that the color superalgebras (with and without central extensions) have adjoint and…
The study of denominator identities for Lie superalgebras was recently developed by M. Gorelik, V.G. Kac, P.Moseneder Frajria, I. Musson, P. Papi, M. Wakimoto and the author. In this paper we generalize these identities to the twisted affine case, completing the result to all affine Lie superalgebras.
We study and classify kinematical algebras which appear in the framework of Lie superalgebras or Lie algebras of order three. All these algebras are related through generalised Inonü-Wigner contractions from either the orthosymplectic superalgebra or the de Sitter Lie algebra of order three.
This paper classifies the splints of the root system of classical Lie superalgebras as a superalgebraic conversion of the splints of classical root systems. It can be used to derive branching rules, which have potential physical application in theoretical physics.
Using the classification theorem due to Kac we prove that any finite dimensional simple Lie superalgebra over an algebraically closed field of characteristic 0 is generated by one element.
The purpose of this paper is to define the representation and the cohomology of Hom-Lie superalgebras. Moreover we study Central extensions and provide as application the computations of the derivations and second cohomology group of q-deformed Witt superalgebra.
In this paper we investigate some important basic properties of simple Hom-Lie superalgebras and show that a Hom-Lie superalgebra does not have any left or right nontrivial ideals. Moreover, we classify invariant bilinear forms on a given simple Hom-Lie superalgebra. Then we study the Killing forms on a Hom-Lie algebra which are examples of the invariant bilinear forms. Making use of the Killing forms, we find conditions for a Hom-Lie superalgebra to be classical. Furthermore, we check the conditions in which the Killing form of a Hom-Lie superalgebra is non-degenerate.
We give infinite dimensional and finite dimensional examples of $F-$fold Lie superalgebras. The finite dimensional examples are obtained by an inductive procedure from Lie algebras and Lie superalgebras.
An algebra A not encountered in either the usual algebraic varieties or supervarieties is introduced. A is a graded and deformed version of the quaternions, with structure similar to that of a Jordan-Lie superalgebra as defined by Okubo and Kamiya, but it is shown to be neither that of a purely associative Lie superalgebra, nor that of a purely antiassociative Jordan-Lie superalgebra. Rather, it exhibits a novel kind of associativity, here called `ordered graded associativity', that is somewhat `in between' pure associativity and pure antiassociativity. In addition to graded associativity, the…
We propose a generalization of Schramm-Loewner evolution (SLE) that has internal degrees of freedom described by an affine Lie superalgebra. We give a general formulation of SLE corresponding to representation theory of an affine Lie superalgebra whose underlying finite dimensional Lie superalgebra is basic classical type, and write down stochastic differential equations on internal degrees of freedom in case that the corresponding affine Lie superalgebra is $\widehat{\mathfrak{osp}(1|2)}$. We also demonstrate computation of local martingales associated with the solution from a representation …
