英文摘要:
Generalized Cesàro operators $C_t$, for $t\in [0,1)$, are investigated when they act on the disc algebra $A(\mathbb{D})$ and on the Hardy spaces $H^p$, for $1\leq p \leq \infty$. We study the continuity, compactness, spectrum and point spectrum of $C_t$ as well as their linear dynamics and mean ergodicity on these spaces.
We obtain in this short article the non-asymptotic estimations for the norm of (generalized) Cesaro-Hardy integral operators in the so-called Bilateral Grand Lebesgue Spaces. We also give examples to show the sharpness of these inequalities.
In this paper the boundedness of the weighted iterated Hardy-type operators $T_{u,b}$ and $T_{u,b}^*$ involving suprema from weighted Lebesgue space $L_p(v)$ into weighted Cesàro function spaces ${\operatorname{Ces}}_{q}(w,a)$ are characterized. These results allow us to obtain the characterization of the boundedness of the supremal operator $R_u$ from $L^p(v)$ into ${\operatorname{Ces}}_{q}(w,a)$ on the cone of monotone non-increasing functions. For the convenience of the reader, we formulate the statement on the boundedness of the weighted Hardy operator $P_{u,b }$ from $L^p(v)$ into ${\oper…
In this paper, we give the characterization of the embeddings between weighted Cesàro function spaces. The proof is based on the duality technique, which reduces this problem to the characterizations of some direct and reverse Hardy-type inequalities and iterated Hardy-type inequalities.
For $p>\frac{2λ}{2λ+1}$ with $λ>0$, the Hardy spaces $H_λ^{p}(\mathbb{R}^{2}_+)$ associated with the Dunkl transform $\mathscr{F}_λ$ and the Dunkl operator $D_x$ on the line, where $D_xf(x)=f'(x)+\fracλ{x}[f(x)-f(-x)]$, is the set of function $F=u+iv$ on the upper half plane $\mathbb{R}_+^2=\big\{(x, y): y>0\big\}$, satisfying the $λ$-Cauchy-Riemann equations: $D_xu-\partial_y v=0, \partial_y u +D_xv=0$, and $\sup_{y>0}\int_{\mathbb{R}}|F(x, y)||x|^{2λ}dx<0$. In this paper, we will study the boundedness of Cesàro operator on $H_λ^{p}(\mathbb{R}^{2}_+)$. We will prove the following inequality $…
We characterize those non-negative, measurable functions $ψ$ on $[0,1]$ and positive, continuous functions $ω_1$ and $ω_2$ on $\mathbb R^+$ for which the generalized Hardy-Cesàro operator $$(U_ψf)(x)=\int_0^1 f(tx)ψ(t)\,dt$$ defines a bounded operator $U_ψ:L^1(ω_1)\to L^1(ω_2)$. Furthermore, we extend $U_ψ$ to a bounded operator on $M(ω_1)$ with range in $L^1(ω_2)\oplus\mathbb Cδ_0$. Finally, we show that the zero operator is the only weakly compact generalized Hardy-Cesàro operator from $L^1(ω_1)$ to $L^1(ω_2)$.
In this article we study the Cesàro operator $$ \mathcal{C}(f)(z)=\frac{1}{z}\int_{0}^{z}f(ζ)\,dζ, $$ and its companion operator $\mathcal{T}$ on Hardy spaces of the upper half plane. We identify $\mathcal{C}$ and $\mathcal{T}$ as resolvents for appropriate semigroups of composition operators and we find the norm and the spectrum in each case. The relation of $\mathcal{C}$ and $\mathcal{T}$ with the corresponding Cesàro operators on Lebesgue spaces $L^p(\R)$ of the boundary line is also discussed.
We investigate structure of the optimal domains for the Hardy-type operators including, for example, the classical Cesàro, Copson and Volterra operators as well as for some of their generalizations. We prove that, in some sense, the abstract Cesàro and Copson function spaces are closely related to the space $L^1$, namely, they contain "in the middle" a complemented copy of $L^1[0,1]$, asymptotically isometric copy of $\ell^1$ and also can be renormed to contain an isometric copy of $L^1[0,1]$. Moreover, the generalized Tandori function spaces are quite similar to $L^\infty$ because they contai…
Cesàro spaces are investigated from the optimal domain and optimal range point of view. There is a big difference between the cases on $[0, \infty)$ and on $[0, 1]$, as we can see in Theorem 1. Moreover, we present an improvement of Hardy inequality on $[0, 1]$ which plays an important role in these considerations.
We introduce a Banach rearrangement invariant (tail) quasy-norm by means of Hardy's (Cesaro) average on the (measurable) functions defined on some measurable space which is a slight generalization of classical Lorentz-Marcinkiewicz norm and find for it an equivalent norm expression.
For the class of Hardy spaces and standard weighted Bergman spaces of the unit disk we prove that the spectrum of a generalized Cesàro operator $T_g$ is unchanged if the symbol $g$ is perturbed to $g+h$ by an analytic function $h$ inducing a quasi-nilpotent operator $T_h$, i.e. spectrum of $T_h$ equals $\{0\}$. We also show that any $T_g$ operator which can be approximated in the operator norm by an operator $T_h$ with bounded symbol $h$ is quasi-nilpotent. In the converse direction, we establish an equivalent condition for the function $g \in$ BMOA to be in the BMOA-norm closure of $H^{\infty…
The norm of $C-I$ on $\ell^p$, where $C$ is the Cesàro operator, is shown to be $1/(p-1)$ when $1<p\le2$. This verifies a recent conjecture of G. J. O. Jameson. The norm of $C-I$ on $\ell^p$ is also determined when $2< p<\infty$. The two parts together answer a question raised by G. Bennett in 1996. Operator norms in the continuous case, Hardy's averaging operator minus identity, are already known. Norms in the discrete and continuous cases coincide.

A closed subspace is invariant under the Cesàro operator $\mathcal{C}$ on the classical Hardy space $H^2(\mathbb D)$ if and only if its orthogonal complement is invariant under the $C_0$-semigroup of composition operators induced by the affine maps $φ_t(z)= e^{-t}z + 1 - e^{-t}$ for $t\geq 0$ and $z\in \mathbb D$. The corresponding result also holds in the Hardy spaces $H^p(\mathbb D)$ for $1<p<\infty$. Moreover, in the Hilbert space setting, by linking the invariant subspaces of $\mathcal{C}$ to the lattice of the closed invariant subspaces of the standard right-shift semigroup acting on a pa…
In this paper embeddings between weighted Copson function spaces ${\operatorname{Cop}}_{p_1,q_1}(u_1,v_1)$ and weighted Cesàro function spaces ${\operatorname{Ces}}_{p_2,q_2}(u_2,v_2)$ are characterized. In particular, two-sided estimates of the optimal constant $c$ in the inequality \begin{equation*} \bigg( \int_0^{\infty} \bigg( \int_0^t f(τ)^{p_2}v_2(τ)\,dτ\bigg)^{\frac{q_2}{p_2}} u_2(t)\,dt\bigg)^{\frac{1}{q_2}} \le c \bigg( \int_0^{\infty} \bigg( \int_t^{\infty} f(τ)^{p_1} v_1(τ)\,dτ\bigg)^{\frac{q_1}{p_1}} u_1(t)\,dt\bigg)^{\frac{1}{q_1}}, \end{equation*} where $p_1,\,p_2,\,q_1,\,q_2 \in…
Consider two continuous linear operators $T\colon X_1(μ)\to Y_1(ν)$ and $S\colon X_2(μ)\to Y_2(ν)$ between Banach function spaces related to different $σ$-finite measures $μ$ and $ν$. We characterize by means of weighted norm inequalities when $T$ can be strongly factored through $S$, that is, when there exist functions $g$ and $h$ such that $T(f)=gS(hf)$ for all $f\in X_1(μ)$. For the case of spaces with Schauder basis our characterization can be improved, as we show when $S$ is for instance the Fourier operator, or the Cesàro operator. Our aim is to study the case when the map $T$ is besides…
An important result on submajorization, which goes back to Hardy, Littlewood and Pólya, states that $b\preceq a$ if and only if there is a doubly stochastic matrix $A$ such that $b=Aa$. We prove that under monotonicity assumptions on vectors $a$ and $b$ respective matrix $A$ may be chosen monotone. This result is then applied to show that $(\widetilde{L^p},L^{\infty})$ is a Calderón couple for $1\leq p<\infty $, where $\widetilde{L^{p}}$ is the Köthe dual of the Cesàro space $Ces_{p'}$ (or equivalently the down space $L^{p'}_{\downarrow}$). In particular, $(\widetilde{L^1},L^{\infty})$ is a Ca…
The Fréchet (resp.\ (LB)) sequence spaces $ces(p+) := \cap_{r > p} ces(r), 1 \leq p < \infty $ (resp.\ $ ces (p-) := \cup_{ 1 < r < p} ces (r), 1 < p \leq \infty),$ are known to be very different to the classical sequence spaces $ \ell_ {p+} $ (resp., $ \ell_{p_{-}}).$ Both of these classes of non-normable spaces $ ces (p+), ces (p-)$ are defined via the family of reflexive Banach sequence spaces $ ces (p), 1 < p < \infty .$ The dual Banach spaces $ d (q), 1 < q < \infty ,$ of the discrete Cesàro spaces $ ces (p), 1 < p < \infty,$ were studied by G.\ Bennett, A.\ Jagers and others. Our aim is …
We characterize a four-weight inequality involving the Hardy operator and the Copson operator. More precisely, given $p_1, p_2, q_1, q_2 \in (0, \infty)$, we find necessary and sufficient conditions on nonnegative measurable functions $u_1, u_2, v_1, v_2$ on $(0,\infty)$ for which there exists a positive constant $c$ such that the inequality \begin{align*} &\bigg(\int_0^{\infty} \bigg(\int_0^t f(s)^{p_2} v_2(s)^{p_2} ds \bigg)^{\frac{q_2}{p_2}} u_2(t)^{q_2} dt \bigg)^{\frac{1}{q_2}} \notag \\ & \hspace{3cm} \leq c \bigg(\int_0^{\infty} \bigg(\int_t^{\infty} f(s)^{p_1} v_1(s)^{p_1} ds \bigg)^{\…
We characterize Cesàro-Orlicz function spaces $Ces_φ$ containing order isomorphically isometric copy of $l^\infty$. We discuss also some useful applicable conditions sufficient for the existence of such a copy.
The discrete Cesàro operator $\mathsf{C}$ is investigated in strong duals of smooth sequence spaces of infinite type. Of main interest is its spectrum, which turns out to be distinctly different in the cases when the space is nuclear and when it is not.
We discuss the Hardy-Littlewood maximal operator on discrete Morrey spaces of arbitrary dimension. In particular, we obtain its boundedness on the discrete Morrey spaces using a discrete version of the Fefferman-Stein inequality. As a corollary, we also obtain the boundedness of some Riesz potentials on discrete Morrey spaces.
We characterize a three-weight inequality for an iterated discrete Hardy-type operator. In the case when the domain space is a weighted space $\ell^p$ with $p\in(0,1]$, we develop characterizations which enable us to reduce the problem to another one with $p=1$. This, in turn, makes it possible to establish an equivalence of the weighted discrete inequality to an appropriate inequality for iterated Hardy-type operators acting on measurable functions defined on $\mathbb{R}$, for all cases of involved positive exponents.
In this paper, we study the basic properties such as boundedness and compactness of composition operators on discrete analogue of generalized Hardy space defined on a homogeneous rooted tree. Also, we compute the operator norm of composition operator when inducing symbol is automorphism of a homogenous tree.
In this paper, it is proved that the higher dimensional Hardy operator is bounded from Hardy space to Lebesgue space. The endpoint estimate for the commutator generated by Hardy operator and (central) BMO function is also discussed.
In this article, we define discrete analogue of generalized Hardy spaces and its separable subspace on a homogenous rooted tree and study some of its properties such as completeness, inclusion relations with other spaces, separability, growth estimate for functions in these spaces and their consequences. Equivalent conditions for multiplication operators to be bounded and compact are also obtained. Furthermore, we discuss about point spectrum, approximate point spectrum and spectrum of multiplication operators and discuss when a multiplication operator is an isometry.
We study the mapping properties of the Hardy--Littlewood fractional maximal operator between Lorentz spaces of the homogeneous tree and discuss the optimality of all the results.
The discrete Cesàro operator $\mathsf{C}$ is investigated in the class of smooth sequence spaces $λ_0(A)$ of finite type. This class contains properly the power series spaces of finite type. Of main interest is its spectrum, which is distinctly different in the cases when $λ_0(A)$ is nuclear and when it is not. The nuclearity of $λ_0(A)$ is characterized via certain properties of the spectrum of $\mathsf{C}$. Moreover, $\mathsf{C}$ is always power bounded and uniformly mean ergodic on $λ_0(A)$.
In this paper we study the bicomplex version of weighted Hardy spaces. Further, we describe reproducing kernels for the bicomplex weighted Hardy spaces. In particular, we generalize some results which holds for the classical weighted Hardy spaces. We also introduce the notion of bicomplex C*-algebra and discuss some of its properties including maximal ideals in BC.
Unlike for $\ell_p$, $1<p\leq\infty$, the discrete Cesàro operator $C$ does not map $\ell_1$ into itself. We identify precisely those weights $w$ such that $C$ does map $\ell_1(w)$ continuously into itself. For these weights a complete description of the eigenvalues and the spectrum of $C$ are presented. It is also possible to identify all $w$ such that $C$ is a compact operator in $\ell_1(w)$. The final section investigates the mean ergodic properties of $C$ in $\ell_1(w)$. Many examples are presented in order to supplement the results and to illustrate the phenomena that occur.
The discrete Cesàro operator $ C $ acts continuously in various classical Banach sequence spaces within $ \mathbb{C}^{\mathbb{N}}.$ For the coordinatewise order, many such sequence spaces $ X $ are also complex Banach lattices (eg. $c_0, \ell^p $ for $ 1 < p \leq \infty , $ and $ ces (p)$ for $ p \in \{ 0 \} \cup ( 1, \infty )).$ In such Banach lattice sequence spaces, $ C $ is always a positive operator. Hence, its order spectrum is well defined within the Banach algebra of all regular operators on $ X .$ The purpose of this note is to show, for every $ X $ belonging to the above list of Bana…
The discrete Cesàro operator $\mathsf{C}$ is investigated in the class of power series spaces $Λ_0(α)$ of finite type. Of main interest is its spectrum, which is distinctly different when the underlying Fréchet space $Λ_0(α)$ is nuclear as for the case when it is not. Actually, the nuclearity of $Λ_0(α)$ is characterized via certain properties of the spectrum of $\mathsf{C}$. Moreover, $\mathsf{C}$ is always power bounded, uniformly mean ergodic and, whenever $Λ_0(α)$ is nuclear, also has the property that the range $(I-\mathsf{C})^m(Λ_0(α))$ is closed in $Λ_0(α)$, for each $m\in\mathbb{N}$.
In this paper, we introduce a discrete analogue of weighted Hardy spaces on rooted trees and study weighted composition operators between them in detail. In particular, we characterize bounded and compact weighted composition operators between discrete Hardy spaces. We also consider isometric weighted composition operators between these spaces.
This work is a generalization of the results in [Gul] to bi-disc case. As in [Gul], quasi-parabolic composition operators on the Hilbert-Hardy space of the bi-disc are written as a linear combination of Toeplitz operators and Fourier multipliers. The C*-algebra generated by Toeplitz operators and Fourier multipliers on the Hilbert-Hardy space of the bi-disc is written as the tensor product of the similar C*-algebra in one variable with itself. As a result we find a nontrivial set lying inside the essential spectra of quasi-parabolic composition operators.
Let $g$ be a holomorphic function of the unit ball $B$ in the $n$-dimensional space, and denote by $T_g$ and $I_g$ the induced extended Ces$\acute{a}$ro operator and another integral operator. The boundedness and compactness of $T_g$ and $I_g$ acting on the Zygmund spaces in the unit ball are discussed and necessary and sufficient conditions are given in this paper.
We prove a critical Hardy inequality on the half-space by using the harmonic transplantation. Also we give an improvement of the subcritical Hardy inequality on the half-space, which converges to the critical Hardy inequality. Sobolev type inequalities are also discussed.
We construct an example to show that no condition of slow decrease of the modulus of a function is sufficient to make it cyclic in the Hardy space of the bidisc. This is similar to what is well known in the case of the Hardy space of the disc, but in contrast to the case of the Bergman space of the disc.
