The unified dark fluid model unifies dark matter and dark energy into a single component, providing an alternative and more concise framework for interpreting cosmological observations. We introduce a PAge-like Unified Dark Fluid (PUDF) model based on the PAge approximation (Huang 2020), which is parameterized by the age of the universe and an $η$ parameter indicating the deviation from Einstein-De Sitter Universe. The PUDF model shares many similar features of the standard Lambda cold dark matter ($Λ$CDM) model and can effectively describe the large-scale structure formation and late-time cosmic acceleration. We constrain the PUDF model with the Planck 2018 cosmic microwave background anisotropies, baryon acoustic oscillation measurements including those from the most recent DESI 2024, the Pantheon+ sample of Type Ia supernovae, and the Cosmic Chronometers compilation. Although the PUDF performs well in fitting all the cosmological datasets, the joint analysis of the data still favors the $Λ$CDM model over the PUDF model, according to the Bayesian evidence of model comparison.
Cosmological observations are normally fit under the assumption that the dark sector can be decomposed into dark matter and dark energy components. However, as long as the probes remain purely gravitational, there is no unique decomposition and observations can only constrain a single dark fluid; this is known as the dark degeneracy. We use observations to directly constrain this dark fluid in a model-independent way, demonstrating in particular that the data cannot be fit by a dark fluid with a single constant equation of state. Parameterizing the dark fluid equation of state by a variety of …
A general equation of state is used to model unified dark matter and dark energy (dark fluid), and it has been proved that this model is equivalent to a single fluid with time-dependent bulk viscosity. In this paper, we investigate scalar perturbation of this viscosity dark fluid model. For particular parameter selection, we find that perturbation quantity can be obtained exactly in the future universe. We numerically solve the perturbation evolution equations, and compare the results with those of $Λ$CDM model. Gravitational potential and the density perturbation of the model studied here hav…
Treating dark matter at large scales as an effectively viscous fluid provides an improved framework for the calculation of the density and velocity power spectra compared to the standard assumption of an ideal pressureless fluid. We discuss how this framework can be made concrete through an appropriate coarse-graining procedure. We also review results that demonstrate that it improves the convergence of cosmological perturbation theory.
We consider the relationship between fluid models of an interacting dark sector, and the field theoretical models that underlie such descriptions. This question is particularly important in light of suggestions that such interactions may help alleviate a number of current tensions between different cosmological datasets. We construct consistent field theory models for an interacting dark sector that behave exactly like the coupled fluid ones, even at the level of linear perturbations, and can be trusted deep in the nonlinear regime. As a specific example, we focus on the case of a Dirac, Born-…
A broad class of dark energy models can be written in the form of k-essence, whose Lagrangian density is a two-variable function of a scalar field $ϕ$ and its kinetic energy $X\equiv \frac{1}{2}\partial^μϕ\partial_μϕ$. In the thawing scenario, the scalar field becomes dynamic only when the Hubble friction drops below its mass scale in the late universe. Thawing k-essence dark energy models can be randomly sampled by generating the Taylor expansion coefficients of its Lagrangian density from random matrices \cite{thaws}. Ref. \cite{thaws} points out that the non-uniform distribution of effectiv…
In this paper, we test the spherical collapse of a unified dark fluid (UDF) which has constant adiabatic sound speed. By choosing the different values of model parameters $B_s$ and $α$, we show the nonlinear collapse for UDF and baryons which are considered for their formation of the large scale structure of our Universe. The analyzed results show that larger values of $α$ and $B_s$ make the structure formation faster and earlier.
In this paper, we investigate a unified dark fluid model with fast transition and entropic perturbations. An effective sound speed is designated as an additional free model parameter when the entropic perturbations are included, and if the entropic perturbations are zero, the effective sound speed will decrease to the adiabatic sound speed. In order to analyze the viability of the unified model, we calculate the squared Jeans wave number with the entropic perturbations. Furthermore, by using the Markov Chain Monte Carlo method, we perform a global fitting for the unified dark fluid model from …
We study the evolution of the dark energy parameter within the scope of a spatially non-flat and isotropic Friedmann-Robertson-Walker (FRW) model filled with barotropic fluid and bulk viscous stresses. We have obtained cosmological solutions which exhibit without a big rip singularity. It is concluded that in both non-interacting and interacting cases non-flat open universe crosses the phantom region. We find that during the evolution of the universe, the equation of state (EoS) for dark energy $ω_{D}$ changes from $ω^{eff}_{D} < -1$ to $ω^{eff}_{D} > -1$, which is consistent with recent obser…
We revise the conditions for the physical viability of a cosmological model in which dark matter has bulk viscosity and also interacts with dark energy. We have also included radiation and baryonic matter components; all matter components are represented by perfect fluids, except the dark matter, that is treated as an imperfect fluid. We impose upon the model the condition of a complete cosmological dynamics that results in an either null or negative bulk viscosity, but the latter also disagrees with the Local Second Law of Thermodynamics. The model is also compared with cosmological observati…
Growing neutrino quintessence addresses the "why now" problem of dark energy by assuming that the neutrinos are coupled to the dark energy scalar field. The coupling mediates an attractive force between the neutrinos leading to the formation of large neutrino lumps. This work proposes an effective, simplified description of the subsequent cosmological dynamics. We treat neutrino lumps as effective particles and investigate their properties and mutual interactions. The neutrino lump fluid behaves as cold dark matter coupled to dark energy. The methods developed here may find wider applications …
Cosmological fluids are commonly assumed to be distributed in a spatially homogeneous way, while their internal properties are described by a perfect fluid. As such, they influence the Hubble-expansion through their respective densities and equation of state parameters. The subject of this paper is an investigation of the fluid-mechanical properties of a dark energy fluid, which is characterised by its sound speed and its viscosity apart from its equation of state. In particular, we compute the predicted spectra for the integrated Sachs-Wolfe effect for our generalised fluid, and compare them …
In this paper, we continue our previous work of studying viscous generalized Chaplygin gas (VGCG) as a unified dark fluid but including the bulk viscosity perturbation. By using the currently available cosmic observational data from SNLS3, BAO, HST and recently released Planck, we gain the constraint on bulk viscosity coefficient: $ζ_0=0.0000138_{- 0.0000105- 0.0000138- 0.0000138}^{+ 0.00000614+ 0.0000145+ 0.0000212}$ in $1, 2, 3σ$ regions respectively via Markov Chain Monte Carlo method. The result shows that when considering perturbation of bulk viscosity, the currently cosmic observations f…
In this paper, we test the spherical collapse of a viscous unified dark fluid (VUDF) which has constant adiabatic sound speed and show the nonlinear collapse for VUDF, baryons, and dark matter which are important to form the large scale structure of our Universe. By varying the values of model parameters $α$ and $ζ_{0}$, we discuss their effects on the nonlinear collapse of the VUDF model, and compare its result to $ΛCDM$ model. The analyzed results show that, within the spherical top-hat collapse framework, larger values of $α$ and smaller values of $ζ_{0}$ make the structure formation earlie…
Scalar fields appear in many cosmological models, in particular in order to provide explanations for dark energy and inflation, but also to emulate dark matter. In this paper, we show that it is possible for a scalar field to replace simultaneously dark matter, dark energy and inflation by assuming the existence of a non-minimal coupling to gravity, a Mexican hat potential, and a spontaneous symmetry breaking before inflation. After inflation, the scalar field behaves like a dark fluid, mimicking dark energy and dark matter, and has a dark matter behaviour similar to fuzzy dark matter.
We present a unified dark fluid model to describe the possible evolutionary behavior of $ΔN_\mathrm{eff}$ in dark radiation. This model can be viewed as an interacting model for the dark sectors, in which dark matter interacts with dark radiation. We show that the evolution of $ΔN_\mathrm{eff}$ can be nicely explained without some drawbacks, such as the blowup of $ΔN_\mathrm{eff}$ and the non-vanishing interaction at the late time.
The standard model of cosmology relies on the existence of two components, "dark matter" and "dark energy", which dominate the expansion of the Universe. There is no direct proof of their existence, and their nature is still unknown. Many alternative models suggest other cosmological scenarios, and in particular the dark fluid model replace the dark matter and dark energy components by a unique dark component able to mimic the behaviour of both components. The current cosmological constraints on the unifying dark fluid model is discussed, and a dark fluid model based on a complex scalar field …
In this paper we have investigated the limits imposed by thermodynamics on a dark energy fluid. We have obtained the heat capacities and the compressibilities for a dark energy fluid. The thermal and mechanical stabilities require these quantities to be positive. We have shown that dark energy fluids must satisfy the stability conditions and that such requirement put difficulties in the cosmic fluid models with negative constant EoS parameters. We have also shown that the observational constraints imposed by SN Ia, BAO and $H(z)$ data on a general dark energy fluid with a time-dependent EoS pa…
We introduce darkons as fluid particles of a Galilean massless self-gravitating fluid. This fluid exhibits anisotropic scaling with $z=5/3$. The minimal gravitational coupling dynamically generates a gravitational mass density of either sign. Hence such fluid may serve as a model for the dark sector of the Universe. Its cosmological solutions give a deceleration phase for the early Universe and an acceleration phase for the late Universe. Will the steady flow solutions lead to a confining potential and so a possible model for halos?
A non-equilibrium thermodynamic analysis has been done for the interacting dark fluid in the universe bounded by the event horizon. From observational evidences it is assumed that at present the matter in the universe is dominated by two dark sectors-dark matter and dark energy. The mutual interaction among them results in spontaneous heat flow between the horizon and the fluid system and the thermal equilibrium will no longer hold.In the present work, the dark matter is chosen in the form of dust while the dark energy is chosen as a perfect fluid with constant equation in one case and holograph…
We consider a cosmological scenario where the dark sector is described by two perfect fluids that interact through a velocity-dependent coupling. This coupling gives rise to an interaction in the dark sector driven by the relative velocity of the components, thus making the background evolution oblivious to the interaction and only the perturbed Euler equations are affected at first order. We obtain the equations governing this system with the Schutz-Sorkin Lagrangian formulation for perfect fluids and derive the corresponding stability conditions to avoid ghosts and Laplacian instabilities. A…
We propose a new pressure-parametrization model to explain the accelerated expansion of the late-time Universe by considering the dark contents (dark matter and dark energy) as a unified dark fluid. To realize this model more physically, we reconstruct it with the quintessence and phantom scalar fields, respectively. We use the recent cosmological data to constrain this model, distinguish it from the standard cosmological model and find that the value of the Hubble constant $H_0=68.34^{+0.53}_{-0.92}$ supports the global measurement by the Planck satellite at the $1σ$ confidence level.
Sanchez and Lacombe have ever developed a lattice fluid theory based on a well-defined statistical mechanical model. Taking the lattice fluid as a candidate of dark energy, we investigate the cosmic evolution of this fluid. Using the combined observational data of Type Ia Supernova (SNe Ia), Baryon Acoustic Oscillations (BAO) and Observational Hubble Data (OHD), we find the best fit value of the parameter in the model, $A = -0.3_{-0.1}^{+0.1}$. Then the cosmological implications of the model are presented.
As is known above 90% of the energy content in Universe is made of unknown dark component. Usually this dark fluid is separated into two parts: dark matter and dark energy. However, it may be a mixture of these two energy components, or just one exotic unknown fluid. This property is dubbed as dark degeneracy. With this motivation, in this paper, a unified dark fluid having constant adiabatic sound speed $c_s^2=α$, which is in the range $[0,1]$, is studied. At first, via the energy conservation equation, its energy density, $ρ_d/ρ_{d0}=(1-B_s)+B_s a^{-3(1+α)}$ where $B_s$ is related to integra…
We consider scalar field models of dark energy interacting with dark matter through a coupling proportional to the contraction of the four-derivative of the scalar field with the four-velocity of the dark matter fluid. The coupling is realized at the Lagrangian level employing the formalism of Scalar-Fluid theories, which use a consistent Lagrangian approach for relativistic fluid to describe dark matter. This framework produces fully covariant field equations, from which we can derive unequivocal cosmological equations at both background and linear perturbations levels. The background evoluti…
We investigate the appropriateness of the use of different Lagrangians to describe various components of the cosmic energy budget, discussing the degeneracies between them in the absence of nonminimal couplings to gravity or other fields, and clarifying some misconceptions in the literature. We further demonstrate that these degeneracies are generally broken for nonminimal coupled fluids, in which case the identification of the appropriate on-shell Lagrangian may become essential in order characterize the overall dynamics. We then show that models with the same on-shell Lagrangian may have dif…

We compare perturbations in a fluid model of dark energy with those in a scalar field. As compared to the $Λ$CDM model, large scale matter power spectrum is suppressed in fluid model as well as in a generic quintessence dark energy model. To check the efficacy of fluid description of dark energy in emulating a scalar field, we consider a potential which gives the same background evolution as a fluid with a constant equation of state. We show that for sub-Hubble scales, a fluid model effectively emulates a scalar field model. At larger scales, where dark energy perturbations may play a significa…
We study a cosmological model composed of a dark energy fluid interacting with a viscous matter fluid in a spatially flat Universe. The matter component represents the baryon and dark matter and it is taken into account, through a bulk viscosity, the irreversible process that the matter fluid undergoes because of the accelerated expansion of the universe. The bulk viscous coefficient is assumed to be proportional to the Hubble parameter. The radiation component is also taken into account in the model. The model is constrained using the type Ia supernova observations, the shift parameter of the…
We investigate cosmological models with a linear inhomogeneous time-dependent equation of state for the dark energy, coupled with dark matter, leading to a bounce cosmology. Equivalent descriptions in terms of the equation-of-state parameters for an exponential, a power-law, or a double exponential form of the scale factor $a$ is obtained. The stability of the solutions is explored, by considering small perturbations around the critical points for the bounce in the early and in the late-time universe.
We investigate the possibility that dark matter is a mixture of two non-interacting perfect fluids, with different four-velocities and thermodynamic parameters. The two-fluid model can be described as an effective single anisotropic fluid, with distinct radial and tangential pressures. The basic equations describing the equilibrium structure of the two-fluid dark matter model, and of the tangential velocity of test particles in stable circular orbits, are obtained for the case of a spherically symmetric static geometry. By assuming a non-relativistic kinetic model for the dark matter particles…
In order to explore nonlinear effects on the distribution of matter during collisions within the Bose-Einstein condensate (BEC) dark matter model driven by the Schrödinger-Poisson system of equations, we study the head-on collision of structures and focus on the interference pattern formation in the density of matter during the collision process. We explore the possibility that the collision of two structures of fluid matter modeled with an ideal gas equation of state also forms interference patterns and found a negative result. Given that a fluid is the most common flavor of dark matter model…
Cosmic Dark Fluid is considered as a non-stationary medium, in which electromagnetic waves propagate, and magneto-electric field structures emerge and evolve. A medium - type representation of the Dark Fluid allows us to involve into analysis the concepts and mathematical formalism elaborated in the framework of classical covariant electrodynamics of continua, and to distinguish dark analogs of well-known medium-effects, such as optical activity, pyro-electricity, piezo-magnetism, electro- and magneto-striction and dynamo-optical activity. The Dark Fluid is assumed to be formed by a duet of a …
We investigate the turbulence effect in dark fluid universe with linear inhomogeneous equation of state. Attention is attached to two physical situations. First, we perform the perturbative analysis of turbulence and check its effects around the Big Rip. Later, treating the turbulence energy density as a part of total dark fluid, we study the stability of the system. The result shows that the stability is achieving as the energy density of turbulence decreases, changing into heat (the radiation), in perfect agreement with the avoidance of the Big Rip.
The fluid model for the dark sector of the universe (darkon fluid) introduced previously in \cite{PRD} is reformulated as a modified model involving only variables from physical phase space. The Lagrangian of the model does not possess a free particle limit and hence the particles it describes, darkons, exist only as a self-gravitating fluid. This darkon fluid presents a dynamical realisation of the zero-mass Galilean algebra extended by anisotropic dilational symmetry with dynamical exponent $z=5/3$. The model possesses cosmologically relevant solutions which are identical to those of \cite{P…
The effective field theory for hydrodynamics allows to write the action functional for fluid. In this paper, some simplest possible higher derivative terms in the fluid action and the cosmological consequences of their presence are considered. Particular attention is given to dark matter, modelled as a dust with higher derivative corrections. We study the conditions of absence of singularities in the solutions of the background and perturbed equations and investigate the evolution of perturbations in two simple models of matter dominated Universe. There is a range of parameters describing the …
The paper brings a novel approach to unification of dark matter and dark energy in terms of a cosmic fluid. A model is introduced in which the cosmic fluid speed of sound squared is defined as a function of its equation of state (EoS) parameter. It is shown how logarithmic part of this function results in dynamical regimes previously not observed in cosmic fluid models. It is shown that in a particular dynamical regime the model behaves as a unification of dark matter and phantom dark energy. Further, it is shown that the model may describe dark matter - dark energy unification in which dark e…

Parametrizations of Equation of state parameter as a function of the scale factor or redshift are frequently used in dark energy modeling. The question investigated in this paper is if parametrizations proposed in the literature are compatible with the dark energy being a barotropic fluid. The test of this compatibility is based on the functional form of the speed of sound squared, which for barotropic fluid dark energy follows directly from the function for the Equation of state parameter. The requirement that the speed of sound squared should be between 0 and speed of light squared provides …
We analyze late-time evolution of the Universe in the framework of the self-consistent model, in which the dark matter is influenced by the Archimedean-type force proportional to the four-gradient of the dark energy pressure. The dark energy is considered as a fluid with the equation of state of the relaxation type, which takes into account a retardation of the dark energy response to the Universe accelerated expansion. The dark matter is guided by the Archimedean-type force, which redistributes the total energy of the dark fluid between two its constituents, dark energy and dark matter, in th…
We extend the dynamical systems analysis of Scalar-Fluid interacting dark energy models performed in C. G. Boehmer et al, Phys. Rev. D 91, 123002 (2015), by considering scalar field potentials beyond the exponential type. The properties and stability of critical points are examined using a combination of linear analysis, computational methods and advanced mathematical techniques, such as centre manifold theory. We show that the interesting results obtained with an exponential potential can generally be recovered also for more complicated scalar field potentials. In particular, employing power-…
We study the equations for the evolution of cosmological perturbations in $f\left(\mathcal{R}\right)$ and conclude that this modified gravity model can be expressed as a dark energy fluid at background and linearised perturbation order. By eliminating the extra scalar degree of freedom known to be present in such theories, we are able to characterise the evolution of the perturbations in the scalar sector in terms of equations of state for the entropy perturbation and anisotropic stress which are written in terms of the density and velocity perturbations of the dark energy fluid and those in t…
We establish a new self-consistent model in order to explain from a unified viewpoint two key features of the cosmological evolution: the inflation in the early Universe and the late-time accelerated expansion. The key element of this new model is the Archimedean-type coupling of the dark matter with dark energy, which form the so-called cosmic dark fluid. We suppose that dark matter particles immersed into the dark energy reservoir are affected by the force proportional to the four-gradient of the dark energy pressure. The Archimedean-type coupling is shown to play a role of effective energy-…
We present perturbation initial conditions for two types of scalar field potential often used in the dark energy study: one inverse power-law and the other exponential. The solutions are presented in the presence of the $w =$ constant fluid ($w = 1/3$ for radiation fluid), a minimally coupled scalar field and a sub-dominating zero-pressure fluid (cold dark matter and baryon dust). We consider two gauge conditions, the $w$-fluid comoving gauge and the cold-dark-matter comoving gauge; solutions in the latter gauge are derived by the gauge transformation and this method can be applied to derive s…
A new truncation scheme based on the cumulant expansion of the one-particle phase-space distribution function for dark matter particles is developed. Extending the method of moments in relativistic kinetic theory, we derive evolution equations which supplement the covariant conservation of the energy-momentum tensor and particle number current. Truncating the cumulant expansion we obtain a closed, covariant and hyperbolic system of equations which can be used to model the evolution of a general relativistic non-ideal fluid. As a working example we consider a Friedmann-Lemaître-Robertson-Walker…
We establish a new model of coupling between a cosmic dark fluid and electrodynamic systems, based on an analogy with effects of electric and magnetic striction, piezo-electricity and piezo-magnetism, pyro-electricity and pyro-magnetism, which appear in classical electrodynamics of continuous media. Extended master equations for electromagnetic and gravitational fields are derived using Lagrange formalism. A cosmological application of the model is considered, and it is shown that a striction-type interaction between the dark energy (the main constituent of the dark fluid) and electrodynamic s…
It is well known that, in the context of general relativity, an unknown kind of matter that must violate the strong energy condition is required to explain the current accelerated phase of expansion of the Universe. This unknown component is called dark energy and is characterized by an equation of state parameter $w=p/ρ<-1/3$. Thermodynamic stability requires that $3w-d\ln |w|/d\ln a\ge0$ and positiveness of entropy that $w\ge-1$. In this paper we proof that we cannot obtain a differentiable function $w(a)$ to represent the dark energy that satisfies these conditions trough the entire history…
The higher dimensional Weyl curvature induces on the brane a new source of gravity. This Weyl fluid of geometrical origin (reducing in the spherically symmetric, static configuration to a dark radiation and dark pressure) modifies space-time geometry around galaxies and has been shown to explain the flatness of galactic rotation curves. Independent observations for discerning between the Weyl fluid and other dark matter models are necessary. Gravitational lensing could provide such a test. Therefore we study null geodesics and weak gravitational lensing in the dark radiation dominated region o…
There is no unique way to describe the dark energy-dark matter interaction, as we have little information about the nature and dynamics of the dark sector. Hence, in many of the phenomenological dark matter fluid interaction models in the literature, the interaction strength $Q_ν$ in the dark sector is introduced by hand. Demanding that the interaction strength $Q_ν$ in the dark sector must have a field theory description, we obtain a unique form of interaction strength. We show the equivalence between the fields and fluids for the $f(R,χ)$ model where $f$ is an arbitrary, smooth function of $…
We have considered a cosmological model of holographic dark energy interacting with dark matter and another unknown component of dark energy of the universe. We have assumed two interaction terms $Q$ and $Q'$ in order to include the scenario in which the mutual interaction between the two principal components (i.e., holographic dark energy and dark matter) of the universe leads to some loss in other forms of cosmic constituents. Our model is valid for any sign of $Q$ and $Q'$. If $Q<Q'$, then part of the dark energy density decays into dark matter and the rest in the other unknown energy densi…
We show that the dark energy effects can be modeled by using an \emph{Ising perfect fluid} with network interactions, whose low redshift equation of state, i.e. $ω_0$, becomes $ω_0=-1$ as in the $Λ$CDM model. In our picture, dark energy is characterized by a barotropic fluid on a lattice in the equilibrium configuration. Thus, mimicking the spin interaction by replacing the spin variable with an occupational number, the pressure naturally becomes negative. We find that the corresponding equation of state mimics the effects of a variable dark energy term, whose limiting case reduces to the cosm…
We use anisotropic fluid cosmology to describe the present, dark energy-dominated, universe. Similarly to what has been proposed for galactic dynamics, the anisotropic fluid gives an effective description of baryonic matter, dark energy and their possible interaction, without assuming the presence of dark matter. The resulting anisotropic fluid spacetime naturally generates inhomogeneities at small scales, triggered by an anisotropic stress, and could therefore be responsible for structure formation at these scales. Solving the cosmological equations, we show that the dynamics of the scale fac…
Perfect fluids are modeled by using an effective field theory approach which naturally gives a self-consistent and unambiguous description of the intrinsic non-adiabatic contribution to pressure variations. We study the impact of intrinsic entropy perturbation on the superhorizon dynamics of the curvature perturbation ${\cal R}$ in the dark sector. The dark sector, made of dark matter and dark energy is described as a single perfect fluid. The non-perturbative vorticity's dynamics and the Weinberg theorem violation for perfect fluids are also studied.
In this article we try to find out the conditions when a ghost field in conjunction with a barotropic fluid produces a stable accelerating expansion phase of the universe. It is seen that in many cases the ghost field produces a condensate and drives the fluid energy density to zero in the final accelerating phase, but there can be other possibilities. We have shown that a pure kinetic $k$-essence field (which is not a ghost field) interacting with a fluid can also form an interaction induced condensate and produce a stable accelerating phase of the universe. In the latter case the fluid energ…
We propose a dark energy model with a logarithmic cosmological fluid which can result in a very small current value of the dark energy density and avoid the coincidence problem without much fine-tuning. We construct a couple of dynamical models that could realize this dark energy at very low energy in terms of four scalar fields quintessence and discuss the current acceleration of the Universe. Numerical values can be made to be consistent with the accelerating Universe with adjustment of the two parameters of the theory. The potential can be given only in terms of the scale factor, but the ex…
In the search for an explanation for the current acceleration of the Universe, scalar fields are the most simple and useful tools to build models of dark energy. This field, however, must in principle couple with the rest of the world and not necessarily in the same way to different particles or fluids. We provide the most complete dynamical system analysis to date, consisting of a canonical scalar field conformally and disformally coupled to both dust and radiation. We perform a detailed study of the existence and stability conditions of the systems and comment on constraints imposed on the d…
