We review the main features of models where relativistic symmetries are deformed at the Planck scale. We cover the motivations and links to other quantum gravity approaches. We describe in some detail the most studied theoretical frameworks, including Hopf algebras, relative locality, and other scenarios with deformed momentum space geometry. We discuss possible phenomenological consequences, and point out current open questions.
Based on the representation theory of the $q$-deformed Lorentz and Poincaré symmeties $q$-deformed relativistic wave equation are constructed. The most important cases of the Dirac-, Proca-, Rarita-Schwinger- and Maxwell- equations are treated explicitly. The $q$-deformed wave operators look structurally like the undeformed ones but they consist of the generators of a non-commu\-ta\-tive Minkowski space. The existence of the $q$-deformed wave equations together with previous existence of the $q$-deformed wave equations together with previous results on the representation theory of the $q$-defo…
The relativistic finite-difference SUSY Quantum Mechanics (QM) is developed. We show that it is connected in a natural way with the q-deformed SUSY Quantum Mechanics. Simple examples are given.
Using a representation of the q-deformed Lorentz algebra as differential operators on quantum Minkowski space, we define an algebra of observables for a q-deformed relativistic quantum mechanics with spin zero. We construct a Hilbert space representation of this algebra in which the square of the mass $ p^2 $ is diagonal.
We describe the deformed Poincare-conformal symmetries implying the covariance of the noncommutative space obeying Snyder's algebra. Relativistic particle models invariant under these deformed symmetries are presented. A gauge (reparametrisation) independent derivation of Snyder's algebra from such models is given. The algebraic transformations relating the deformed symmetries with the usual (undeformed) ones are provided. Finally, an alternative form of an action yielding Snyder's algebra is discussed where the mass of a relativistic particle gets identified with the inverse of the noncommuta…
We study the general deformed conformal-Poincare (Galilean) symmetries consistent with relativistic (nonrelativistic) canonical noncommutative spaces. In either case we obtain deformed generators, containing arbitrary free parameters, which close to yield new algebraic structures. We show that a particular choice of these parameters reproduces the undeformed algebra. The modified coproduct rules and the associated Hopf algebra are also obtained. Finally, we show that for the choice of parameters leading to the undeformed algebra, the deformations are represented by twist functions.
We describe three ways of modifying the relativistic Heisenberg algebra - first one not linked with quantum symmetries, second and third related with the formalism of quantum groups. The third way is based on the identification of generalized deformed phase space with the semidirect product of two dual Hopf algebras describing quantum group of motions and the corresponding quantum Lie algebra. As an example the $κ$-deformation of relativistic Heisenberg algebra is given, determined by $κ$-deformed D=4 Poincaré symmetries.
A $q$-deformed free scalar relativistic particle is discussed in the framework of the BRST formalism. The $q$-deformed local gauge symmetry and reparametrization invariance of the first-order Lagrangian have been exploited for the BRST quantization of this system on a $GL_{q}(2)$ invariant quantum world-line. The on-shell equivalence of these BRST charges requires the deformation parameter to be $ \pm 1 $ under certain identifications. The same restriction ($ q= \pm 1 $) emerges from the conservation of the $q$-deformed BRST charge on an arbitrary (unconstrained) manifold and the validity of th…
We consider two quantum phase spaces which can be described by two Hopf algebroids linked with the well-known $θ_{μν}$-deformed $D=4$ Poincare-Hopf algebra $\mathbb{H}$. The first algebroid describes $θ_{μν}$-deformed relativistic phase space with canonical NC space-time (constant $θ_{μν}$ parameters) and the second one incorporates dual to $\mathbb{H}$ quantum $θ_{μν}$-deformed Poincare-Hopf group algebra $\mathbb{G}$, which contains noncommutative space-time translations given by $Λ$-dependent $Θ_{μν}$ parameters ($% Λ$ $\equiv Λ_{μν}$ parametrize classical Lorentz group). The canonical $θ_{…
In the framework of Lagrangian formulation, some q-deformed physical systems are considered. The q-deformed Legendre transformation is obtained for the free motion of a non-relativistic particle on a quantum line. This is subsequently exploited to obtain the Lagrangians for the q-deformed harmonic oscillator and q-deformed relativistic free particle. The Euler-Lagrange equations of motion are derived in a consistent manner with the corresponding Hamilton's equations. The Lagrangian for the q-deformed relativistic particle is endowed with the q-deformed gauge symmetry and reparametrization inva…
A $q$-deformed free spinning relativistic particle is discussed in the framework of the Lagrangian formalism. Three equivalent Lagrangians are obtained for this system which are endowed with $q$-deformed local (super)gauge symmetries and reparametrization invariance. It is demonstrated that these symmetries are on-shell equivalent only for $ q = \pm1 $ under particular identification of the transformation parameters. The same condition ($ q=\pm1 $) emerges due to the requirement that the $q$-commutator of two supersymmetric gauge transformations should generate a reparametrization plus a super…
In kappa-deformed relativistic framework we consider three different definitions of kappa-deformed velocities and introduce corresponding addition laws. We show that one of the velocities has classical relativistic addition law. The relation of velocity formulae with the coproduct for fourmomenta and noncommutative space-time structure is exhibited.
We describe the extension of the Wigner`s infinite-dimensional unitary representations of Poincaré group to the case of $κ$-deformed Poincaré group. We show that the corresponding coordinate wave functions on noncommutative space-time are described by free field equations on $κ$-deformed Minkowski space. The cases of Klein--Gordon, Dirac, Proca and Maxwell fields are considered. Finally some aspects of second quantization are also discussed.

Families of vector-like deformed relativistic quantum phase spaces and corresponding realizations are analyzed. Method for general construction of star product is presented. Corresponding twist, expressed in terms of phase space coordinates, in Hopf algebroid sense is presented. General linear realizations are considered and corresponding twists, in terms of momenta and Poincaré-Weyl generators or $\mathfrak{gl}(n)$ generators, are constructed and R-matrix is discussed. Classification of linear realizations leading to vector-like deformed phase spaces is given. There are 3 types of spaces: $i)…
We define three fundamental solvable bilinear deformations for any massive non-relativistic 2d quantum field theory (QFT). They include the $\mathrm{T}\overline{\mathrm{T}}$ deformation and the recently introduced hard rod deformation. We show that all three deformations can be interpreted as coupling the non-relativistic QFT to a specific Newton-Cartan geometry, similar to the Jackiw-Teitelboim-like gravity in the relativistic case. Using the gravity formulations, we derive closed-form deformed classical Lagrangians of the Schrödinger model with a generic potential. We also extend the dynamic…
We consider the physical implications of various choices of the three-momentum basis in the kappa-deformed Poincare algebra. In particular, we find that the energy dependence of the velocity of a kappa-particle leads to unexpected features in kappa-deformed kinematics. We also discuss the notion of kappa-deformed dynamics, and as a tool example we investigate the motion of a kappa-deformed particle under the action of a constant force.
We describe the generalized kappa-deformations of D=4 relativistic symmetries with finite masslike deformation parameter kappa and an arbitrary direction in kappa-deformed Minkowski space being noncommutative. The corresponding bicovariant differential calculi on kappa-deformed Minkowski spaces are considered. Two distinguished cases are discussed: 5D noncommutative differential calculus (kappa-deformation in time-like or space-like direction), and 4D noncommutative differential calculus having the classical dimension (noncommutative kappa-deformation in light-like direction). We introduce als…
We argue that recently proposed by Amelino-Camelia et all [1,2] so-called doubly special relativity (DSR), with deformed boost transformations identical with the formulae for $κ$-deformed kinematics in bicrossproduct basis is a classical special relativity in nonlinear disguise. The choice of symmetric composition law for deformed fourmomenta as advocated in [1, 2] implies that DSR is obtained by considering nonlinear fourmomenta basis of classical Poincaré algebra and it does not lead to noncommutative space-time. We also show how to construct large two classes of doubly special relativity th…
We show how a deformed composition law of four-momenta can be used to define, at the classical level, a modified notion of spacetime for a system of two particles through the crossing of worldlines in particle interactions. We present a derivation of a generic relativistic isotropic deformed kinematics and discuss the complementarity and relations with other derivations based on $κ$-Poincaré Hopf algebra or on the geometry of a maximally symmetric momentum space.
In this paper, we formulate a q-deformed many-body theory for the relativistic Fermi gas and discuss the effects of the deformation parameter q on physical properties of such systems. Since antiparticle excitations appear in the relativistic regime, a suitable treatment to the choice of deformation parameters for both fermions and antifermions must be carefully taken in order to get a consistent theory. By applying this formulation, we further study the thermostatistic properties of a q-deformed ideal relativistic Fermi gas. It can be shown that even in the noninteracting scenario, the system …
We shall outline two ways of introducing the modification of Einstein's relativistic symmetries of special relativity theory - the Poincaré symmetries. The most complete way of introducing the modifications is via the noncocommutative Hopf-algebraic structure describing quantum symmetries. Two types of quantum relativistic symmetries are described, one with constant commutator of quantum Minkowski space coordinates ($θ_{μν}$-deformation) and second with Lie-algebraic structure of quantum space-time, introducing so-called $κ$-deformation. The third fundamental constant of Nature - fundamental m…
We study the deformed conformal-Poincare symmetries consistent with the Snyder--de Sitter space. A relativistic particle model invariant under these deformed symmetries is given. This model is used to provide a gauge independent derivation of the Snyder--de Sitter algebra. Our results are valid in the leading order in the parameters appearing in the model.
Lorentz symmetry violation (LSV) can be generated at the Planck scale, or at some other fundamental length scale, and naturally preserve Lorentz symmetry as a low-energy limit (deformed Lorentz symmetry, DLS). DLS can have important implications for ultra-high energy cosmic-ray physics (see papers physics/0003080, astro-ph/0011181 and astro-ph/0011182, and references quoted in these papers). A crucial question is how DLS can be extended to a deformed Poincare symmetry (DPS), and what can be the dynamical origin of this phenomenon. We discuss recent proposals to identify DPS with a symmetry inc…
We derive finite boost transformations based on the Lorentz sector of the bicross-product-basis $κ$-Poincare' Hopf albegra. We emphasize the role of these boost transformations in a recently-proposed new relativistic theory. We find that when the (dimensionful) deformation parameter is identified with the Planck length, which together with the speed-of-light constant has the status of observer-independent scale in the new relativistic theory, the deformed boosts saturate at the value of momentum that corresponds to the inverse of the Planck length.
We study an M-theory solution for the holographic flow of AdS4 times Sasaki-Einstein 7-manifolds with skew-whiffing, perturbed by a mass operator. The infrared solution contains the 5 dimensional Schrodinger geometry after considering the gravity dual of the standard non-relativistic limit of relativistic field theories. The mass deformation of the field theory is discussed in detail for the case with 7 manifold being a round sphere.
We investigate the relationship between the generalized uncertainty principle in quantum gravity and the quantum deformation of the Poincaré algebra. We find that a deformed Newton-Wigner position operator and the generators of spatial translations and rotations of the deformed Poincaré algebra obey a deformed Heisenberg algebra from which the generalized uncertainty principle follows. The result indicates that in the $κ$-deformed Poincaré algebra a minimal observable length emerges naturally.
In this work, we study the exact solution of Dirac equation in the hyper-spherical coordinate under influence of separable q-Deformed quantum potentials. The q-deformed hyperbolic Rosen-Morse potential is perturbed by q-deformed non-central trigonometric Scarf potentials, where whole of them can be solved by using Asymptotic Iteration Method (AIM). This work is limited to spin symmetry case. The relativistic energy equation and orbital quantum number equation lD-1 have been obtained using Asymptotic Iteration Method. The upper radial wave function equations and angular wave function equations …
In a representation theoretic approach a free q-relativistic wave equation must be such, that the space of solutions is an irreducible representation of the q-Poincare algebra. It is shown how this requirement uniquely determines the q-wave equations. As examples, the q-Dirac equation (including q-gamma matrices which satisfy a q-Clifford algebra), the q-Weyl equations, and the q-Maxwell equations are computed explicitly.
In this article, after introducing a kind of q-deformation in quantum mechanics, first, q-deformed form of Dirac equation in relativistic quantum mechanics is derived. Then three important scat erring problem in physics are studied. All results have satisfied what we had expected before. Furthermore, effects of all parameters in the problems on the reflection and transmission coefficients are calculated and shown graphically.
We present a way to derive a deformation of special relativistic kinematics (possible low energy signal of a quantum theory of gravity) from the geometry of a maximally symmetric curved momentum space. The deformed kinematics is fixed (up to change of coordinates in the momentum variables) by the algebra of isometries of the metric in momentum space. In particular, the well-known example of $κ$-Poincaré kinematics is obtained when one considers an isotropic metric in de Sitter momentum space such that translations are a subgroup of the isometry group, and for a Lorentz covariant algebra one ge…
Following the work in \cite{Mohammed:2012gi}, where the massive ABJM model in 2+1 dimensions was shown to have an abelian reduction to the relativistic Landau-Ginzburg, and motivated by the implications for condensed matter through AdS/CFT, we show that a FI deformation of ${\cal N}=4$ SYM in 3+1 dimensions with a mass term can also be reduced to a relativistic Landau-Ginzburg model, with the possibility of coupling it to a real scalar, whereas the simply mass deformed ${\cal N}=4$ SYM reduces only to a massive $ϕ^4$ model (scalar QED) coupled to a real scalar. We study the classical solutions…
The non-relativistic Chern-Simons theory with the single-valued anyonic field is proposed as an example of q-deformed field theory. The corresponding q-deformed algebra interpolating between bosons and fermions, both in position and momentum spaces, is analyzed.A possible generalization to a space with an arbitrary dimension is suggested.
We consider the Hamiltonian and Lagrangian formalism describing free \k-relativistic particles with their four-momenta constrained to the \k-deformed mass shell. We study the modifications of the formalism which follow from the introduction of space coordinates with nonvanishing Poisson brackets and from the redefinitions of the energy operator. The quantum mechanics of free \k-relativistic particles and of the free \k-relativistic oscillator is also presented. It is shown that the \k-relativistic oscillator describes a quantum statistical ensemble with finite Hagedorn temperature. The relatio…
Lorentz symmetry violation (LSV) can be generated at the Planck scale, or at some other fundamental length scale, and naturally preserve Lorentz symmetry as a low-energy limit (deformed Lorentz symmetry, DLS). DLS can have important implications for ultra-high energy cosmic-ray physics (see papers physics/0003080 - hereafter referred to as I -, astro-ph/0011181 and astro-ph/0011182, and references quoted in these papers). A crucial question is how DLS can be extended to a deformed Poincaré symmetry (DPS), and what can be the dynamical origin of this phenomenon. In a recent paper (hep-th/020806…
We consider $κ$-deformed relativistic quantum phase space and possible implementations of the Lorentz algebra. There are two ways of performing such implementations. One is a simple extension where the Poincaré algebra is unaltered, while the other is a general extension where the Poincaré algebra is deformed. As an example we fix the Jordanian twist and the corresponding realization of noncommutative coordinates, coproduct of momenta and addition of momenta. An extension with a one-parameter family of realizations of the Lorentz generators, dilatation and momenta closing the Poincaré-Weyl alg…
We discuss kinematical properties of a free relativistic particle with deformed phase space in which momentum space is given by (a submanifold of) de Sitter space. We provide a detailed derivation of the action, Hamiltonian structure and equations of motion for such free particle. We study the action of deformed relativistic symmetries on the phase space and derive explicit formulas for the action of the deformed Poincare' group. Finally we provide a discussion on parametrization of the particle worldlines stressing analogies and differences with ordinary relativistic kinematics.
Deformed relativistic kinematics have been considered as a way to capture residual effects of quantum gravity. It has been shown that they can be understood geometrically in terms of a curved momentum space on a flat spacetime. In this article we present a systematic analysis under which conditions and how deformed relativistic kinematics, encoded in a momentum space metric on flat spacetime, can be lifted to curved spacetimes in terms of a self-consistent cotangent bundle geometry, which leads to purely geometric, geodesic motion of freely falling point particles. We comment how this construc…
We analyze the kinematics of electron-positron production in a photon-photon interaction when one has a modification of the special relativistic kinematics as a power expansion in the inverse of a new high-energy scale. We derive the equation for the threshold energy of this reaction to first order in this expansion, including the effects due to a modification of the energy-momentum conservation equation. In contrast with the Lorentz invariance violation case, a scale of the order of a few TeV is found to be compatible with the observations of very high-energy cosmic gamma rays in the case of …
In this work the Vacuum Energy Density Problem or Dark Energy Problem is studied on the basis of the earlier results by the author within the scope of the Holographic Principle. It is demonstrated that the previously introduced deformed quantum field theory at a nonuniform lattice in the finite-dimensional hypercube is consistent with the Holographic Principle (Holographic Entropy Bound)in case the condition of the physical system's stability with respect to the gravitational collapse is met, or simply stated, the gravitational stability is constrained. The associated deformation parameter is …
We present a short review describing the use of noncommutative space-time in quantum-deformed dynamical theories: classical and quantum mechanics as well as classical and quantum field theory. We expose the role of Hopf algebras and their realizations (noncommutative modules) as important mathematical tool describing quantum-deformed symmetries: quantum Lie groups and quantum Lie algebras. We consider in some detail the most studied examples of noncommutative space-time geometry: the canonical and $κ$-deformed cases. Finally we briefly describe the modifications of Einstein gravity obtained by…
The investigation of the q deformation of the S-matrix for excitations on the string world sheet in AdS5 x S5 is continued. We argue that due to the lack of Lorentz invariance the situation is more subtle than in a relativistic theory in that the nature of bound states depends on their momentum. At low enough momentum |p|<E the bound states transform in the anti-symmetric representation of the super-algebra symmetry and become the solitons of the Pohlmeyer reduced theory in the relativistic limit. At a critical momentum |p|=E they become marginally unstable, and at higher momenta the stable bo…
Over the last decade there were significant advances in the understanding of quantum gravity coupled to point particles in 3D (2+1-dimensional) spacetime. Most notably it is emerging that the theory can be effectively described as a theory of free particles on a momentum space with anti-deSitter geometry and with noncommutative spacetime coordinates of the type $[x^μ,x^ν]=i \hbar \ell \varepsilon^{μν}_{\phantom{μν}ρ} x^ρ$. We here show that the recently proposed relative-locality curved-momentum-space framework is ideally suited for accommodating these structures characteristic of 3D quantum g…
We construct discrete symmetry transformations for deformed relativistic kinematics based on group valued momenta. We focus on the specific example of kappa-deformations of the Poincare algebra with associated momenta living on (a sub-manifold of) de Sitter space. Our approach relies on the description of quantum states constructed from deformed kinematics and the observable charges associated with them. The results we present provide the first step towards the analysis of experimental bounds on the deformation parameter kappa to be derived via precision measurements of discrete symmetries and…
Doubly special relativity has been studied for the last twenty years as a way to go beyond the special relativistic kinematics, trying to capture residual effects of a quantum gravity theory. In particular, in doubly special relativity the Einstenian relativity principle is generalized, adding to the speed of light another relativistic invariant, the Planck energy. There are several papers in the literature showing a connection between this deformed kinematics and a curved momentum space. Here we review how such kinematics can be derived from geometrical ingredients in a rigorous way, and how …
We have developed a unified scheme for studying Non-Commutative algebras based on Generalized Uncertainty Principle (GUP) and Snyder form in a relativistically covariant point particle Lagrangian (or symplectic) framework. Even though the GUP based algebra and Snyder algebra are very distinct, the more involved latter algebra emerges from an approximation of the Lagrangian model of the former algebra. Deformed Poincare generators for the systems that keep space-time symmetries of the relativistic particle models have been studied thoroughly. From a purely constrained dynamical analysis perspec…
There is a vast literature showing the connection between a deformed relativistic kinematics and a curved momentum space, and, in particular, how the former can be obtained from the geometrical properties of the latter. However, there is not any mention about the geometry of a multi-particle system making manifest a possible modification in the metric of one particle due to the presence of others. In this work we explore how a curved momentum metric depending on the particles involved in an interaction arises when considering a process. We also show that the principle of relative locality obta…
We give a pedagogical introduction to the basics of deformations of relativistic symmetries and the Hilbert spaces of free quantum fields built as their representations. We focus in particular on the example of a $κ$-deformed scalar quantum field for which the generators of spatial translations that label the field modes act according to a deformed Leibnitz rule. We explore the richer structure of the $κ$-Fock space and point out possible physical consequences of the deformation.
The conformal symmetry algebra in 2D (Diff($S^{1}$)$\oplus$Diff($S^{1}$)) is shown to be related to its ultra/non-relativistic version (BMS$_{3}$$\approx$GCA$_{2}$) through a nonlinear map of the generators, without any sort of limiting process. For a generic classical CFT$_{2}$, the BMS$_{3}$ generators then emerge as composites built out from the chiral (holomorphic) components of the stress-energy tensor, $T$ and $\bar{T}$, closing in the Poisson brackets at equal time slices. Nevertheless, supertranslation generators do not span Noetherian symmetries. BMS$_{3}$ becomes a bona fide symmetry…
We study the implications of a change of coordinatization of momentum space for theories with curved momentum space. We of course find that after a passive diffeomorphism the theory yields the same physical predictions, as one would expect considering that a simple reparametrization should not change physics. However, it appears that general momentum-space covariance (invariance under active diffeomorphisms of momentum space) cannot be enforced, and within a given set of prescriptions on how the theory should encode momentum-space metric and affine connection the physical predictions do depend…
Various candidates of quantum gravity such as string theory, loop quantum gravity and black hole physics all predict the existence of a minimum observable length which modifies the Heisenberg uncertainty principle to so-called Generalized Uncertainty Principle (GUP). This approach results in the modification of the commutation relations and changes all Hamiltonians in quantum mechanics. In this paper, we present a class of physically acceptable solutions for a general commutation relation without directly solving the corresponding generalized Schrodinger equations. These solutions satisfy the …
We analyze a few illustrative examples of scenarios in which relativistic symmetries are deformed by Planck-scale effects in particle-type-dependent manner. The novel mathematical structures required by such scenarios are the mixing coproducts, which govern the (deformed) law of conservation of energy and momentum when particles with different relativistic properties interact. We also comment on the relevance of these findings for recent proposals concerning the possibility that neutrinos might have relativistic properties which are different from those of photons and/or the possibility that c…
We study particle dynamics in a space-time invariant under the $DISIM_b(2)$ group - the deformation of the $ISIM(2)$ symmetry group of very special relativity. We find that the Lorentz violation leads to the creation of higher order (hidden) symmetries which are connected to those broken at the space-time level. Through the perspective of the conserved quantities of the special relativistic case the Lorentz violation is linked to specific non-commutative relations in phase-space.
The interest of part of the quantum-gravity community in the possibility of Planck-scale-deformed Lorentz symmetry is also fueled by the opportunities for testing the relevant scenarios with analyses, from a signal-propagation perspective, of observations of bursts of particles from cosmological distances. In this respect the fact that so far the implications of deformed Lorentz symmetry have been investigated only for flat (Minkowskian) spacetimes represents a very significant limitation, since for propagation over cosmological distances the curvature/expansion of spacetime is evidently tangi…
The Strong equivalence Principle (SEP) states that the description of a physical system in a gravitational field is indistinguishable from the description of the same system at rest in an accelerating frame. While this statement holds true in both General Relativity and ordinary Quantum Mechanics, one expects it to fail when quantum gravity corrections are taken into account. In this paper we investigate the possible failure of the SEP in two Quantum Gravity inspired modifications of Quantum Mechanics - Polymer Quantum Mechanics and deformed Heisenberg Algebra. We find that the SEP fails to ho…
The $\text{T}\bar{\text{T}}$-deformed classical Lagrangian of a 2D Lorentz invariant theory can be derived from the original one, perturbed only at first order by the bare $\text{T}\bar{\text{T}}$ composite field, through a field-dependent change of coordinates. Considering, as an example, the nonlinear Schrödinger (NLS) model with generic potential, we apply this idea to non-relativistic models. The form of the deformed Lagrangian contains a square-root and is similar but different from that for relativistic bosons. We study the deformed bright, grey and Peregrine's soliton solutions. Contrar…
In recent years, Planck-scale modifications to particles' dispersion relation have been deeply studied for the possibility to formulate some phenomenology of Planckian effects in astrophysical and cosmological frameworks. There are some indications [arXiv:gr-qc/0611024] that Finsler geometry can provide some generalization of Riemannian geometry which may allow to account for non-trivial (Planckian) structure of relativistic particles' configuration space. We investigate the possibility to formalize Planck-scale deformations to relativistic models in curved spacetime, within the framework of F…
The Bianchi IX cosmological model is analyzed in a generalized uncertainty principle framework. The Arnowitt-Deser-Misner reduction of the dynamics is performed and a time-coordinate, namely the volume of the Universe, naturally arises. Such a variable is treated in the ordinary way while the anisotropies (the physical degrees of freedom) are described by a deformed Heisenberg algebra. The analysis of the model (passing through Bianchi I and II) is performed at classical level by studying the modifications induced on the symplectic geometry by the deformed algebra. We show that, the Universe c…
The effects of noncommutativity and of the existence of a minimal length on the phase space of a dilatonic cosmological model are investigated. The existence of a minimum length, results in the Generalized Uncertainty Principle (GUP), which is a deformed Heisenberg algebra between the minisuperspace variables and their momenta operators. We extend these deformed commutating relations to the corresponding deformed Poisson algebra. For an exponential dilaton potential, the exact classical and quantum solutions in the commutative and noncommutative cases, and some approximate analytical solutions…
