We present a class of Poisson structures on trivial extension algebras which generalize some known structures induced by Poisson modules. We show that there exists a one-to-one correspondence between such a class of Poisson structures and some data involving (not necessarily flat) contravariant derivatives, and then we give a formulation of this result in terms of Lie algebroids. Some properties of the first Poisson cohomology are also presented. Examples coming from Poisson modules and Poisson submanifolds are given.
Transposed Poisson structures on complex Galilean type Lie algebras and superalgebras are described. It was proven that all principal Galilean Lie algebras do not have non-trivial $\frac{1}{2}$-derivations and as it follows they do not admit non-trivial transposed Poisson structures. Also, we proved that each complex finite-dimensional solvable Lie algebra admits a non-trivial transposed Poisson structure and a non-trivial ${\rm Hom}$-Lie structure.
It is proved that the Poisson enveloping algebra of a double Poisson-Ore extension is an iterated double Ore extension. As an application, properties that are preserved under iterated double Ore extensions are invariants of the Poisson enveloping algebra of a double Poisson-Ore extension.
A double Ore extension was introduced by James Zhang and Jun Zhang [26] to study a class of Artin-Schelter regular algebras. Here we give a definition of Poisson double extension which may be considered as an analogue of double Ore extension and show that algebras in a class of double Ore extensions are deformation quantizations of Poisson double extensions. We also investigate the modular derivations of Poisson double extensions and the relationship between Poisson double extensions and iterated Poisson polynomial extensions. Results are illustrated by examples.
We prove that the universal enveloping algebra of a Poisson-Ore extension is a length two iterated Ore extension of the original universal enveloping algebra. As consequences, we observe certain ring-theoretic invariants of the universal enveloping algebras that are preserved under iterated Poisson-Ore extensions. We apply our results to iterated quadratic Poisson algebras arising from semiclassical limits of quantized coordinate rings and a family of graded Poisson algebras of Poisson structures of rank at most two.
We observe \cite[Proposition 4.1]{LaLe} that Poisson polynomial extensions appear as semiclassical limits of a class of Ore extensions. As an application, a Poisson generalized Weyl algebra $A_1$ considered as a Poisson version of the quantum generalized Weyl algebra is constructed and its Poisson structures are studied. In particular, it is obtained a necessary and sufficient condition such that $A_1$ is Poisson simple and established that the Poisson endomorphisms of $A_1$ are Poisson analogues of the endomorphisms of the quantum generalized Weyl algebra.
Transposed Poisson structures on the Schrödinger algebra in $(n+1)$-dimensional space-time of Schrödinger Lie groups are described. It was proven that the Schrödinger algebra $\mathcal{S}_{n}$ in case of $n\neq 2$ does not have non-trivial $\frac{1}{2}$-derivations and as it follows it does not admit non-trivial transposed Poisson structures. All $\frac{1}{2}$-derivations and transposed Poisson structures for the algebra $\mathcal{S}_{2}$ are obtained. Also, we proved that the Schrödinger algebra $\mathcal{S}_{2}$ admits a non-trivial ${\rm Hom}$-Lie structure.
In [1] the author gives a description of Poisson brackets on some algebras of quantum polynomials $\mathcal{O}_q$, which is called\textit{ general algebra of quantum polynomials}. The main of this paper is to present a generalization of [1] through a description of Poisson brackets on some skew PBW extensions of a ring $A$ by the extensions $\mathcal{O}^{r,n}_{q,δ}$, which are a generalization of $\mathcal{O}_q$ and show some examples of skew PBW extension where we can apply this description.
For a derivation d of a commutative Noetherian complex algebra A, a homeomorphism is established between the prime spectrum of the Ore extension A[z;d] and the Poisson prime spectrum of the polynomial algebra A[z] endowed with the Poisson bracket such that {A,A}=0 and {z,a}=d(a) for all a in A. Several illustrative examples are discussed including some where A is known to be d-simple.
The notion of trivial extension of a ring by a module has been extensively studied and used in ring theory as well as in various other areas of research like cohomology theory, representation theory, category theory and homological algebra. In this paper we extend this classical ring construction by associating a ring to a ring $R$ and a family $M=(M_i)_{i=1}^{n}$ of $n$ $R$-modules for a given integer $n\geq 1$. We call this new ring construction an $n$-trivial extension of $R$ by $M$. In particular, the classical trivial extension will be just the $1$-trivial extension. Thus we generalize se…
Let $P$ be a Poisson algebra, $E$ a vector space and $π: E \to P$ an epimorphism of vector spaces with $V = {\rm Ker} (π)$. The global extension problem asks for the classification of all Poisson algebra structures that can be defined on $E$ such that $π: E \to P$ becomes a morphism of Poisson algebras. From a geometrical point of view it means to decompose this groupoid into connected components and to indicate a point in each such component. All such Poisson algebra structures on $E$ are classified by an explicitly constructed classifying set ${\mathcal G} {\mathcal P} {\mathcal H}^{2} \, (P…
A relation between $\frac{1}{2}$-derivations of Lie algebras and transposed Poisson algebras was established. Some non-trivial transposed Poisson algebras with a certain Lie algebra (Witt algebra, algebra $\mathcal{W}(a,-1)$, thin Lie algebra and solvable Lie algebra with abelian nilpotent radical) were constructed. In particular, we constructed an example of the transposed Poisson algebra with associative and Lie parts isomorphic to the Laurent polynomials and the Witt algebra. On the other side, it was proven that there are no non-trivial transposed Poisson algebras with Lie algebra part iso…
In this paper, we define and study the universal enveloping algebra of a Poisson superalgebra. In particular, a new PBW Theorem for Lie-Rinehart superalgebras is proved leading to a PBW Theorem for Poisson superalgebras, we show the universal enveloping algebra of a Poisson Hopf superalgebra (resp. Poisson-Ore extension) is a Hopf superalgebra (resp. iterated Ore extension), and we study the universal enveloping algebra for interesting classes of Poisson superalgebras such as Poisson symplectic superalgebras.
In this paper we investigate a categorical aspect of $n$-trivial extension of a ring by a family of modules. Namely, we introduce the right (resp., left) $n$-trivial extension of a category by a family of endofunctors. Among other results, projective, injective and flat objects of this category are characterized. We end the paper with two applications. We characterize when an $n$-trivial extension ring is $k$-perfect and we establish a result on the selfinjective dimension of an $n$-trivial extension ring.
We prove that for the iterated Poisson polynomial rings known as Poisson nilpotent algebras (or Poisson-CGL extensions), the Poisson prime spectrum is catenary, i.e., all saturated chains of inclusions of Poisson prime ideals between any two given Poisson prime ideals have the same length.
This paper investigates coherent-like conditions and related properties that a trivial extension might inherit from the ground ring over some classes of modules. It captures previous results dealing primarily with coherence, and also establishes satisfactory analogues of well-known coherence-like results on pullback constructions. Our results generate new families of examples of rings (with zerodivisors) subject to a given coherent-like condition.
This paper partly settles a conjecture of Costa on (n,d)-rings, i.e., rings in which n-presented modules have projective dimension at most d. For this purpose, a theorem studies the transfer of the (n,d)-property to trivial extensions of local rings by their residue fields. It concludes with a brief discussion -backed by original examples- of the scopes and limits of our results.
In this paper we investigate in details derivations on trivial extension algebras. We obtain generalizations of both known results on derivations on triangular matrix algebras and a known result on first cohomology group of trivial extension algebras. As a consequence we get the characterization of trivial extension algebras on which every derivation is inner. We show that, under some conditions, a trivial extension algebra on which every derivation is inner has necessarily a triangular matrix representation. The paper starts with detailed study (with examples) of the relation between the triv…
Motivated by the phenomenon that compatible Poisson structures on a cluster algebra play a key role on its quantization (that is, quantum cluster algebra), we introduce the second quantization of a quantum cluster algebra, which means the correspondence between compatible Poisson structures of the quantum cluster algebra and its secondly quantized cluster algebras. Based on this observation, we find that a quantum cluster algebra possesses dual quantum cluster algebras such that their second quantization is essentially the same. As an example, we give the secondly quantized cluster algebra $A_…
In this paper we give a characterisation of trivial extension algebras in terms of quivers with relations. This result is based on a explicit description of the ideal of relations of the trivial extension of an algebra, given by the first author in the appendix. We also give a new proof of Wakamatsu's theorem in terms of their quiver and relations, which determines when two given algebras have isomorphic trivial extensions.
Similar to the modular vector fields in Poisson geometry, modular derivations are defined for smooth Poisson algebras with trivial canonical bundle. By twisting Poisson module with the modular derivation, the Poisson cochain complex with values in any Poisson module is proved to be isomorphic to the Poisson chain complex with values in the corresponding twisted Poisson module. Then a version of twisted Poincaré duality is proved between the Poisson homologies and cohomologies. Furthermore, a notion of pseudo-unimodular Poisson structure is defined. It is proved that the Poisson cohomology as a…
Let A be a commutative ring and E a non-zero A-module. Necessary and sufficient conditions are given for the trivial ring extension R of A by E to be either arithmetical or Gaussian. The possibility for R to be B{é}zout is also studied, but a response is only given in the case where pSpec A (a quotient space of Spec} A) is totally disconnected. Trivial ring extensions which are fqp-rings are characterized only in the local case. To get a general result we intoduce the class of fqf-rings satisfying a weaker property than fqp-ring. Moreover, it is proven that the finitistic weak dimension of a f…
We prove that a certain pair of bimodules over two artin algebras gives rise to a triangle equivalence between the singularity categories of the two corresponding trivial extension algebras. Some consequences and an example are given.
All rings considered are commutative. In this article we introduce and study two notions of modules which are stronger than CS modules, namely weakly IN modules and strongly CS modules. Our main aim is to characterize when a trivial extension $A=R\propto M$ (of a ring $R$ by an $R$-module $M$) is a CS ring.
We consider associative algebras L over a field provided with a direct sum decomposition of a two-sided ideal M and a sub-algebra A - examples are provided by trivial extensions or triangular type matrix algebras. In this relative and split setting we describe a long exact sequence computing the Hochschild cohomology of L. We study the connecting homomorphism using the cup-product and we infer several results, in particular the first Hochschild cohomology group of a trivial extension never vanishes.
In this paper we provide some conditions under which a Lie derivation on a trivial extension algebra is proper, that is, it can be decomposed into the sum of a derivation and a center valued map. We extend some known results on the properness of Lie derivations of triangular algebras. Some illuminating examples are also included.
In this paper, we show that the twisted Poincaré duality between Poisson homology and cohomology can be derived from the Serre invertible bimodule. This gives another definition of a unimodular Poisson algebra in terms of its Poisson Picard group. We also achieve twisted Poincaré duality for Hochschild (co)homology of Poisson bimodules using rigid dualizing complex. For a smooth Poisson affine variety with the trivial canonical bundle, we prove that its enveloping algebra is a Calabi-Yau algebra if the Poisson structure is unimodular.
In this paper, we show that for a Koszul $n$-homogeneous algebra $Λ$, the quadratic dual of certain twisted trivial extension is the $(n+1)$-preprojective algebra of its quadratic dual, that is, $ (Δ_νΛ)^{!,op} \simeqΠ( Λ^{ !, op })$. This is applied to the $τ$-slice algebras of stable $n$-translation algebras and gives a noncommutative version of Bernstein-Gelfand-Gelfand correspondence for such algebras.
In this work we study the connection between iterated tilted algebras and m-cluster tilted algebras. We show that an iterated tilted algebra induces an m-cluster tilted algebra. This m-cluster tilted algebra can be seen as a trivial extension of another iterated tilted algebra which is derived equivalent to the original one. We give a procedure to find this new iterated tilted algebra. These m-cluster tilted algebras are quotients of higher relation extensions.
Given a ring $R$, we study the bimodules $M$ for which the trivial extension $R\propto M$ is morphic. We obtain a complete characterization in the case where $R$ is left perfect, and we prove that $R\propto Q/R$ is morphic when $R$ is a commutative reduced ring with classical ring of quotients $Q$. We also extend some known results concerning the connection between morphic rings and unit regular rings.
Given a finite dimensional algebra $C$ (over an algebraically closed field) of global dimension at most two, we define its relation-extension algebra to be the trivial extension $C\ltimes \Ext_C^2(DC,C)$ of $C$ by the $C$-$C$-bimodule $\Ext_C^2(DC,C)$. We give a construction for the quiver of the relation-extension algebra in case the quiver of $C$ has no oriented cycles. Our main result says that an algebra $\tilde C$ is cluster-tilted if and only if there exists a tilted algebra $C$ such that $\tilde C$ is isomorphic to the relation-extension of $C$.
Given a finite--dimensional monomial algebra $A$ we consider the trivial extension $TA$ and provide formulae, depending on the characteristic of the field, for the dimensions of the summands $HH_1(A)$ and $\Alt(DA)$ of the first Hochschild cohomology group $HH^1(TA)$. From these a formula for the dimension of $HH^1(TA)$ can be derived.
We study problems related to indecomposability of modules over certain local finite dimensional trivial extension algebras. We do this by purely combinatorial methods. We introduce the concepts of graph of cyclic modules, of combinatorial dimension, and of fundamental combinatorial dimension of a module. We use these concepts to establish, under favorable conditions, criteria for the indecomposability of a module. We present categorifed versions of these constructions and we use this categorical framework to establish criteria for the indecomposability of modules of infinite rank.
Let $B$ be a Poisson algebra $\Bbb C[x_1,\ldots, x_k]$ with Poisson bracket such that $$\{x_j,x_i\}=c_{ji}x_ix_j+p_{ji}$$ for all $j>i$, where $c_{ji}\in\Bbb C$ and $p_{ji}\in\Bbb C[x_1,\ldots,x_i]$. Here we obtain an iterated skew polynomial algebra such that its semiclassical limit is equal to $B$ and the results are illustrated by examples.
In this paper, the so-called differential graded (DG for short) Poisson Hopf algebra is introduced, which can be considered as a natural extension of Poisson Hopf algebras in the differential graded setting. The structures on the universal enveloping algebras of differential graded Poisson Hopf algebras are discussed.
The second cohomology group of a left skew brace with coefficients in a trivial left brace with non-trivial actions is defined, its connection with extensions of a left skew brace by a trivial braces is established and a Wells' like exact sequence relating the second cohomology group with inducible automorphisms of an extension of left skew braces is constructed.
For a positively graded artin algebra $A=\oplus_{n\geq 0}A_n$ we introduce its Beilinson algebra $\mathrm{b}(A)$. We prove that if $A$ is well-graded self-injective, then the category of graded $A$-modules is equivalent to the category of graded modules over the trivial extension algebra $T(\mathrm{b}(A))$. Consequently, there is a full exact embedding from the bounded derived category of $\mathrm{b}(A)$ into the stable category of graded modules over $A$; it is an equivalence if and only if the 0-th component algebra $A_0$ has finite global dimension.
The purpose of this paper is to provide and study a Hom-type generalization of Jordan-Malcev-Poisson algebras, called Hom-Jordan-Malcev-Poisson algebras. We show that they are closed under twisting by suitable self-maps and give a characterization of admissible Hom-Jordan-Malcev-Poisson algebras. In addition, we introduce the notion of pseudo-Euclidian Hom-Jordan-Malcev-Poisson algebras and describe its $T^*$-extension. Finally, we generalize the notion of Lie-Jordan-Poisson triple system to the Hom setting and establish its relationships with Hom-Jordan-Malcev-Poisson algebras.
