Decorrelation of the elliptic flow in rapidity is calculated within a hybrid approach which includes event-by-event viscous fluid dynamics and final state hadronic cascade model. The simulations are performed for Au+Au collisions at center-of-mass collision energies of 27 and 200 GeV per nucleon pair, as well as various colliding systems at 72 GeV per nucleon pair. Initial conditions determined by an extended Monte Carlo Glauber model show better agreement with experimental data than initial conditions from the UrQMD transport model. We show how the observed decorrelation is connected with the decorrelation of initial state spatial anisotropies. We also study how the effect is increased by the final state hadronic cascade.
We present the first calculation of longitudinal decorrelation of anisotropic flow at RHIC Beam Energy Scan (BES) energies using event-by-event viscous hydrodynamic model (vHLLE), with two different initial states (GLISSANDO2 and UrQMD) and hadronic cascade. We investigate the origin of the observed decorrelation by checking separately flow angle and flow magnitude decorrelation and by calculating decorrelation in the initial state eccentricity.
We investigate the effect of hydrodynamic fluctuations on the rapidity decorrelations of anisotropic flow in high-energy nuclear collisions using a (3+1)-dimensional integrated dynamical model. The integrated dynamical model consists of twisted initial conditions, fluctuating hydrodynamics, and hadronic cascades on an event-by-event basis. To understand the rapidity decorrelation, we analyze the factorization ratio in the longitudinal direction. Comparing the factorization ratios between fluctuating hydrodynamics and ordinary viscous hydrodynamics, we find a sizable effect of hydrodynamic fluc…
In the RHIC Beam Energy Scan program, gold nuclei are collided with different collision energies in the range from few to 62.4 GeV. The goals of the program are to explore the onset of QGP creation, locate the critical point of QCD and study dense baryon matter. We report on the first application of Monte Carlo Glauber (GLISSANDO2) and T$_{\rm R}$ENTo $p=0$ initial states extended to 3D for event-by-event viscous fluid dynamic (vHLLE) with hadronic cascade modelling of Au+Au collisions at $\sqrt{s_{_{\rm NN}}}=27$ and 62.4 GeV, which is the upper region of RHIC BES energies. The initial states…
Rapidity decorrelation in high energy heavy-ion collisions is one of the hot topics in understanding longitudinal dynamics of the quark gluon plasma (QGP). In this study we employ an integrated dynamical model with full three dimensional relativistic hydrodynamics and perform event-by-event numerical simulations of Pb+Pb collisions at the LHC energy. We analyze factorization ratios to understand rapidity decorrelation from hydrodynamic fluctuations and initial longitudinal fluctuations. We show that factorization breaking happens due to both hydrodynamic fluctuations and initial longitudinal f…
We discuss rapidity decorrelation caused by hydrodynamic fluctuations in high-energy nuclear collisions at the LHC energy. We employ an integrated dynamical model which is a combination of the Monte Carlo version of Glauber model with extension to longitudinal direction for initial conditions, full three-dimensional relativistic fluctuating hydrodynamics for the space-time evolution of created matter in the intermediate stage and a hadronic cascade model in the late stage. We switch on and off the hydrodynamic fluctuations in the hydrodynamic stage to understand the effects of hydrodynamic flu…
The collective harmonic flow in heavy-ion collisions correlates particles at all transverse momenta to be emitted preferably some directions. The factorization breaking coefficient measures the small decorrelation of the flow harmonics at two different transverse momenta. Using the hydrodynamic model I study in details the decorrelation of the harmonic flow due to the flow angle and the flow magnitude decorrelation at two transverse momenta. The effect can be seen in experiment measuring factorization breaking coefficients for the square of the harmonic flow vector at two transverse momenta. T…
We investigate the interplay between hydrodynamic fluctuations and initial longitudinal fluctuations for their effects on the rapidity decorrelation of collective flow in high-energy nuclear collisions. We use a (3+1)-dimensional integrated dynamical model in which we combine initial conditions with longitudinal fluctuations, fluctuating hydrodynamics and hadronic cascades. We analyse the factorisation ratio in the longitudinal direction to study the effect of these fluctuations on the rapidity decorrelation. We find an essential difference between the effects of the hydrodynamic fluctuations …
We study the longitudinal decorrelations of elliptic, triangular and quadrangular flows in heavy-ion collisions at the LHC and RHIC energies. The event-by-event CLVisc (3+1)-dimensional hydrodynamics model, combined with the fully fluctuating AMPT initial conditions, is utilized to simulate the space-time evolution of the strongly-coupled quark-gluon plasma. Detailed analysis is performed for the longitudinal decorrelations of flow vectors, flow magnitudes and flow orientations. We find strong correlations between final-state longitudinal decorrelations of anisotropic flows and initial-state l…
We study photon production in the early stage of heavy-ion collisions using a multistage model combining IP-Glasma, KøMPøST and relativistic hydrodynamics. We discuss the small momentum anisotropy of these photons, highlighting the role of the photon-hadron event-plane decorrelation. We comment that this singular characteristic of early photons could be used to provide dynamical information on the complex pre-hydrodynamics phase of heavy-ion collisions.
We perform the first study on asymmetric longitudinal decorrelations of elliptic, triangular and quadrangular flows in proton-nucleus collisions at the LHC and RHIC energies. To measure the longitudinal flow decorrelations for asymmetric collision systems, we propose a new set of rapidity-asymmetric flow decorrelation functions. Our event-by-event hydrodynamic calculations show that the flow decorrelations in proton-going direction are larger than those in nucleus-going direction. We also find that proton-nucleus collisions at RHIC have larger longitudinal flow decorrelation effects than those…
Harmonic flow in relativistic heavy-ion collisions is observed in a broad range of rapidities, and the flow at different rapidities is correlated. However, fluctuations lead to a small decorrelation of the harmonic flow magnitudes and flow angles at different rapidities. Using a hydrodynamic model with Glauber Monte Carlo initial conditions we show that the flow angle decorrelation strongly depends on the flow magnitude in the event. We propose observables to measure this effect in experiment.
Within A Multi-Phase Transport model, we investigate decorrelation of event planes over pseudorapidity and its effect on azimuthal anisotropy measurements in relativistic heavy-ion collisions. The decorrelation increases with increasing η gap between particles used to reconstruct the event planes. The third harmonic event planes are found even anticorrelated between forward and backward rapidities, the source of which may root in the opposite orientation of the collision geometry triangularities. The decorrelation may call into question the anisotropic flow measurements with pseudorapidity gap…
The initial energy density distribution and fluctuation in the transverse direction lead to anisotropic flows of final hadrons through collective expansion in high-energy heavy-ion collisions. Fluctuations along the longitudinal direction, on the other hand, can result in decorrelation of anisotropic flows in different regions of pseudo rapidity ($η$). Decorrelation of the $2$nd and $3$rd order anisotropic flows with different $η$ gaps for final charged hadrons in high-energy heavy-ion collisions is studied in an event-by-event (3+1)D ideal hydrodynamic model with fully fluctuating initial con…
We discuss the forward-backward correlations of harmonic flow in Pb+Pb collisions at the CERN Large Hadron Collider (LHC), applying standard multibin measures, as well as proposed here new measures. We illustrate the methods with hydrodynamic model simulations based on event-by-event initial conditions from the wounded quark model with asymmetric rapidity emission profiles. Within the model we examine independently the event-plane angle and the flow magnitude decorrelations. We find specific hierarchy between various flow decorrelation measures and confirm certain factorization relations. We f…
Event-by-event hydrodynamics is applied to Cu-Au collisions at 200GeV. Predictions for charged particle distributions in pseudorapidity, transverse momentum spectra, femtoscopy radii are given. The triangular and elliptic flow coefficients are calculated. The directed flow at central rapidity in the reaction plane in asymmetric collisions is nonzero, fluctuations of the initial profile lead to a further increase of the directed flow when measured in the event plane.
We investigate hydrodynamic evolution of the quark gluon plasma for the colour glass condensate type initial conditions. We solve full second-order viscous hydrodynamic equations in the longitudinal direction to find that non-boost invariant expansion leads to visible deformation on the initial rapidity distribution. The results indicate that hydrodynamic evolution with viscosity plays an important role in determining parameters for the initial distributions.
We perform a systematic study on the decorrelation of anisotropic flows along the pseudorapidity in relativistic heavy-ion collisions at the LHC and RHIC energies. The dynamical evolution of the QGP fireball is simulated via the CLVisc (ideal) (3+1)-dimensional hydrodynamics model, with the fully fluctuating initial condition from A-Multi-Phase-Transport (AMPT) model. Detailed analysis is performed on the longitudinal decorrelations of elliptic, triangular and quadrangular flows in terms of flow vectors, flow magnitudes and flow orientations (event planes). It is found that pure flow magnitude…
The invariant mass spectrum and the elliptic flow of lepton pairs produced in relativistic heavy-ion collisions at RHIC are studied with viscous hydrodynamics. The effects of viscous corrections on dilepton observables are explored. The lepton pairs originating from charm quarks evolving in the viscous background are seen to be a good probe of quark energy loss and gain, as quantified by the dilepton spectrum and by the dilepton elliptic flow.
A new formulation of (3+1)-dimensional anisotropic hydrodynamics is presented that accounts nonperturbatively for the large longitudinal-transverse pressure anisotropy and bulk viscous pressure in heavy-ion collisions. The initialization of the anisotropic hydrodynamic stage is discussed, and a comparison to standard viscous hydrodynamics for (0+1)- dimensional Bjorken expansion is presented.
We investigate the phenomenology of freely expanding fluids, with different material properties, evolving through the Israel-Stewart (IS) causal viscous hydrodynamics, and compare our results with those obtained in the relativistic Eckart-Landau-Navier-Stokes (ELNS) acausal viscous hydrodynamics. Through the analysis of scaling invariants we give a definition of thermalization time which can be self-consistently determined in viscous hydrodynamics. Next we construct the solutions for one-dimensional boost-invariant flows. Expansion of viscous fluids is slower than that of one-dimensional ideal…
A new formulation of second-order viscous hydrodynamics, based on an expansion around a locally anisotropic momentum distribution, is presented. It generalizes the previously developed formalism of anisotropic hydrodynamics (aHydro) to include a complete set of dissipative currents for which equations of motion are derived by solving the Boltzmann equation in the 14-moment approximation. By solving the vaHydro equations for a transversally homogeneous, longitudinally boost-invariant system ((0+1)-dimensional expansion) and comparing with the exact solution of the Boltzmann equation in relaxati…
We analyze event-by-event fluctuations of the transverse momentum in relativistic heavy-ion collisions at RHIC in the framework based on the fluctuating Glauber-model initial conditions, event-by-event (3+1)-dimensional viscous hydrodynamics, and statistical hadronization. We use the scaled fluctuation measure < Delta p_Ti Delta p_Tj > / << p_T >>. The identified "geometric" mechanism of generating the transverse-momentum fluctuations from the initial size fluctuations, transmitted to the final statistical-hadronization phase with hydrodynamics, is capable of easily reproducing the magnitude o…
The individual studies of the anisotropic flow vector, flow angle and flow magnitude fluctuations with multi-particle correlations provide insight into the initial conditions and properties of the quark-gluon plasma (QGP) created in high-energy heavy-ion collisions. Recent measurements of these fluctuations have been available and the comparison to hydrodynamic models shows unique sensitivities to the initial conditions of the system, but also a puzzling dependence on the specific shear viscosity $η/s$. In this paper, a systematic study with A Multi-Phase Transport (AMPT) model using different…
Studies of fluctuations and correlations of soft hadrons and hard and electromagnetic probes of the dense and strongly interacting medium require event-by-event hydrodynamic simulations of high-energy heavy-ion collisions that are computing intensive. We develop a (3+1)D viscous hydrodynamic model -- CLVisc that is parallelized on Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) using Open Computing Language (OpenCL) with 60 times performance increase for space-time evolution and more than 120 times for the Cooper-Frye particlization relative to that without GPU parallelization. The pseudo-rapidity dependence o…
The matter created in relativistic heavy ion collisions is fairly well described by ideal hydrodynamics, and somewhat better described by viscous hydrodynamics. To this point, most viscous calculations have been two-dimensional, based on an assumption of Bjorken boost invariance along the beam axis. Here, first results are presented for a fully three-dimensional viscous model. The model is described and tests of the numerical accuracy of the code are presented. Two- and three-dimensional runs are compared, and modest changes are observed for mid-rapidity observables at the highest RHIC (Relati…
Hydrodynamic simulations are used to make predictions for the integrated elliptic flow coefficient v_2 in sqrt(s)=5.5 TeV lead-lead and sqrt(s)=14 TeV proton-proton collisions at the LHC. We predict a 10% increase in v_2 from RHIC to Pb+Pb at LHC, and v_2 ~ 0 in p+p collisions unless eta/s < 0.08.
The drag and diffusion coefficients are studied within the framework of Fokker-Planck dynamics for the case of a charm quark propagating in an expanding quark-gluon plasma. The space-time evolution of the nuclear matter created in the relativistic heavy-ion collision is modelled using MUSIC, a 3+1 D relativistic viscous hydrodynamic approach. The effect of viscous corrections to the heavy quark transport coefficients is explored by considering scattering processes with thermal quarks and gluons in the medium. It is observed that the momentum diffusion of the heavy quarks is sensitive to the sh…
We report recent progress on causal viscous hydrodynamics for relativistic heavy ion collisions. For fixed specific shear viscosity eta/s, uncertainties in the elliptic flow arising from initial conditions, equation of state, bulk viscosity and numerical viscosity, and the treatment of the highly viscous hadronic stage and freeze-out procedure are analysed. A comparison of current viscous hydrodynamic results with experimental data yields a robust upper limit eta/s < 5/(4pi).
Event-by-event viscous hydrodynamics is combined with heavy quark energy loss models to compute heavy flavor flow cumulants $v_2\{2\}$, $v_3\{2\}$, and $v_2\{4\}$ as well as the nuclear modification factors of $D^0$ and $B^0$ mesons in PbPb collisions at 2.76 TeV. Our results indicate that bottom quarks can flow as much as charm quarks in the $p_T$ range 8--30 GeV.
The matter created in central p+p, p+Pb and Pb+Pb collisions at sqrt{s}=5.02 TeV is simulated event-by-event using the superSONIC model, which combines pre-equilibrium flow, viscous hydrodynamic evolution and late-stage hadronic rescatterings. Employing a generalization of the Monte Carlo Glauber model where each nucleon possesses three constituent quarks, superSONIC describes the experimentally measured elliptic and triangular flow at central rapidity in all systems using a single choice for the fluid parameters, such as shear and bulk viscosities. This suggests a common hydrodynamic origin o…
The viscosity of the QGP is a presently hotly debated subject. Since its computation from first principles is difficult, it is desirable to try to extract it from experimental data. Viscous hydrodynamics provides a tool that can attack this problem and which may work in regions where ideal hydrodynamics begins to fail. This thesis focuses on viscous hydrodynamics for relativistic heavy ion collisions. We first review the 2nd order viscous equations obtained from different approaches, and then report on the work of the Ohio State University group on setting up the equations for causal viscous h…
The Large Hadron Collider (LHC) experiments have revealed that the predictions of the color glass condensate (CGC) tend to underestimate the multiplicity at mid-rapidity. We develop and estimate a full second-order viscous hydrodynamic model for the longitudinal expansion to find that the CGC rapidity distributions are visibly deformed during the hydrodynamic stage due to the interplay between the entropy production and the entropy flux to forward rapidity. The results indicate the importance of viscous hydrodynamic evolution with non-boost invariant flow for understanding the CGC in terms of …
We compute v4/(v2)^2 in ideal and viscous hydrodynamics. We investigate its sensitivity to details of the hydrodynamic model and compare the results to experimental data from RHIC. Whereas v2 has a significant sensitivity only to initial eccentricity and viscosity while being insensitive to freeze out temperature, we find that v4/(v2)^2 is quite insensitive to initial eccentricity. On the other hand, it can still be sensitive to shear viscosity in addition to freeze out temperature, although viscous effects do not universally increase v4/(v2)^2 as originally predicted. Consistent with data, we…
I compare the first viscous hydrodynamic prediction for integrated elliptic flow in Pb-Pb collisions at the LHC with the first data released by the ALICE collaboration. These new data are found to be consistent with hydrodynamic extrapolations of RHIC data with no change in medium parameters (e.g., average viscosity). I also discuss how, in general, a precise comparison of data to theoretical calculations requires an understanding of some subtleties of the measurement -- most notably the cut on transverse momentum of the particles used and the differing sensitivities to flow fluctuations and n…
In an earlier work (arXiv:0808.0953) we established that causal Israel-Stewart viscous hydrodynamics is only accurate in RHIC applications at very low shear viscosities 4 pi eta_s / s < ~ 1.5-2. We show here that the region of applicability is significantly reduced if bulk viscosity plays a role in the dynamics.
Using the (2+1)-dimensional viscous hydrodynamic code VISH2+1, we present systematic studies of the dependence of pion and proton transverse momentum spectra and their elliptic flow in 200 A GeV Au+Au collisions on the parameters of the hydrodynamic model (thermalization time, initial entropy density distribution, decoupling temperature, equation of state, and specific shear viscosity eta/s). We identify a tension between the slope of the proton spectra, which (within hydrodynamic simulations that assume a constant shear viscosity to entropy density ratio) prefer larger eta/s values, and the s…
In this paper, we propose a method of solving the viscous hydrodynamics order by order in a derivative expansion. In such a method, the zero-order solution is just one of the ideal hydrodynamics. All the other higher order corrections satisfy the same first-order partial differential equations but with different inhomogeneous terms. We take the Bjorken flow as an example to test the validity of our method and present how to deal with the problems about the initial condition and perturbation evolution in our formalism.
One of the most striking results from the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider is the strong elliptic flow. This review summarizes what is observed and how these results are combined with reasonable theoretical assumptions to estimate the shear viscosity of QCD near the phase transition. A data comparison with viscous hydrodynamics and kinetic theory calculations indicates that the shear viscosity to entropy ratio is surprisingly small, $η/s < 0.4$. The preferred range is $η/s \simeq (1\leftrightarrow 3) \times 1/4π$.
We determine the non-linear hydrodynamic response to geometrical fluctuations in heavy ion collisions using ideal and viscous hydrodynamics. This response is characterized with a set of non-linear response coefficients that determine, for example, the $v_5$ that is produced by an $ε_2$ and an $ε_3$. We analyze how viscosity damps both the linear and non-linear response coefficients, and provide an analytical estimate that qualitatively explains most of the trends observed in more complete simulations. Subsequently, we use these nonlinear response coefficients to determine the linear and non-li…
We report part of our recent work on viscous hydrodynamics with consistent phase space distribution $f(x,\p)$ for freeze out. We develop the gradient expansion formalism based on kinetic theory, and with the constraints from the comparison between hydrodynamics and kinetic theory, viscous corrections to $f(x,\p)$ can be consistently determined order by order. Then with the obtained $f(x,\p)$, second order viscous hydrodynamical calculations are carried out for elliptic flow $v_2$.
Bulk viscosity suppresses elliptic flow v_2, as does shear viscosity. It can thus not be neglected when extracting the shear viscosity from elliptic flow data. We here explore uncertainties in the bulk viscous contribution to viscous v_2 suppression that arise from presently uncontrolled uncertainties in the initial value of the bulk viscous pressure and its microscopic relaxation time.
We exactly solve the one-dimensional boost-invariant Boltzmann equation in the relaxation time approximation for arbitrary shear viscosity. The results are compared with the predictions of viscous and anisotropic hydrodynamics. Studying different non-equilibrium cases and comparing the exact kinetic-theory results to the second-order viscous hydrodynamics results we find that recent formulations of second-order viscous hydrodynamics agree better with the exact solution than the standard Israel-Stewart approach. Additionally, we find that, given the appropriate connection between the kinetic an…
We show that by requiring positivity of the longitudinal pressure it is possible to constrain the initial conditions one can use in 2nd-order viscous hydrodynamical simulations of ultrarelativistic heavy-ion collisions. We demonstrate this explicitly for 0+1 dimensional viscous hydrodynamics and discuss how the constraint extends to higher dimensions. Additionally, we present an analytic approximation to the solution of 0+1 dimensional 2nd-order viscous hydrodynamical evolution equations appropriate to describe the evolution of matter in an ultrarelativistic heavy-ion collision.
Explicit equations are given for describing the space-time evolution of non-ideal (viscous) relativistic fluids undergoing boost-invariant longitudinal and arbitrary transverse expansion. The equations are derived from the second-order Israel-Stewart approach which ensures causal evolution. Both azimuthally symmetric (1+1)-dimensional and non-symmetric (2+1)-dimensional transverse expansion are discussed. The latter provides the formal basis for the hydrodynamic computation of elliptic flow in relativistic heavy-ion collisions including dissipative effects.
Recently it has been shown that a realistic description of the medium via event-by-event viscous hydrodynamics plays an important role in the long-standing $R_\text{AA}$ vs. $v_2$ puzzle at high $p_T$. In this proceedings we begin to extend this approach to the heavy flavor sector by investigating the effects of full event-by-event fluctuating hydrodynamic backgrounds on the nuclear suppression factor and $v_2\{2\}$ of heavy flavor mesons and non-photonic electrons at intermediate to high $p_T$. We also show results for $v_3\{2\}$ of $B^0$ and D$^0$ for PbPb collisions at $\sqrt{s}=2.76$ TeV.
We evaluate the effects of preequilibrium dynamics on observables in ultrarelativistic heavy-ion collisions. We simulate the initial nonequilibrium phase within A MultiPhase Transport (AMPT) model, while the subsequent near-equilibrium evolution is modeled using (2+1)-dimensional relativistic viscous hydrodynamics. We match the two stages of evolution carefully by calculating the full energy-momentum tensor from AMPT and using it as input for the hydrodynamic evolution. We find that when the preequilibrium evolution is taken into account, final-state observables are insensitive to the switchin…
I review recent and not so recent progress on formulating and numerically implementing a consistent set of relativistic equations which describe the space-time evolution of viscous relativistic fluids without violating causality.
Due to large pressure gradients at early times, standard hydrodynamic model simulations of relativistic heavy-ion collisions do not become reliable until $O(1)$\,fm/$c$ after the collision. To address this one often introduces a pre-hydrodynamic stage that models the early evolution microscopically, typically as a conformal, weakly interacting gas. In such an approach the transition from the pre-hydrodynamic to the hydrodynamic stage is discontinuous, introducing considerable theoretical model ambiguity. Alternatively, fluids with large anisotropic pressure gradients can be handled macroscopic…
We present a fully three-dimensional initial state model for relativistic heavy-ion collisions at RHIC Beam Energy Scan (BES) collision energies. The initial energy and net baryon density profiles are produced based on a classical string deceleration model. The baryon stopping and fluctuations during this early stage of the collision are investigated by studying the net baryon rapidity distribution and longitudinal decorrelation of the transverse geometry.
The fluctuation-dissipation theorem requires the presence of thermal noise in viscous fluids. The time and length scales of heavy ion collisions are small enough so that the thermal noise can have a measurable effect on observables. Thermal noise is included in numerical simulations of high energy lead-lead collisions, increasing average values of the momentum eccentricity and contributing to its event by event fluctuations.
We study the role of viscosity in the early stages of relativistic heavy ion collisions. We investigate the role of viscosity on the chemical equilibration of a parton gas. In the presence of viscosity the lifetime of the system is increased. The temperature as well as the parton fugacities evolve more slowly compared to the ideal fluid dynamics.
Assuming that in Au+Au collisions, a baryon free fluid is produced, transverse momentum spectra of identified particles ($π$, $K$, $p$ and $ϕ$), in evolution of ideal and viscous fluid is studied. Hydrodynamic evolution is governed by a lattice based equation of state (EOS), where the confinement-deconfinement transition is a cross-over at $T_{co}$=196 MeV. Ideal or viscous fluid was initialised to reproduce $ϕ$ meson multiplicity in 0-5% Au+Au collisions. Ideal or minimally viscous ($η/s$=0.08) fluid evolution reasonably well explain the transverse momentum spectra of pion's, kaon's, and $ϕ$ …
Using the newly developed hybrid model VISHNU which connects viscous hydrodynamics with a hadron cascade model, we study the differential and integrated elliptic flow v_2 at different centrality bins for 200 A GeV Au+Au collisions and 2.76 A TeV Pb+Pb collisions. We find that the average Quark Gluon Plasma (QGP) specific shear viscosity eta/s slightly increases from Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider (RHIC) to Large Hadron Collider (LHC) energies. However, a further study assuming different temperature dependencies for (eta/s)_QGP shows that one cannot uniquely constrain the form of (eta/s)_QGP(T…
We present a first calculation of the dilepton yield and elliptic flow done with 3+1D viscous hydrodynamical simulations of relativistic heavy ion collisions at the top RHIC energy. A comparison with recent experimental data from the STAR collaboration is made.
