We study existence and asymptotic behavior of radial positive solutions of some fully nonlinear equations involving Pucci's extremal operators in dimension two. In particular we prove the existence of a positive solution of a fully nonlinear version of the Liouville equation in the plane. Moreover for the $\mathcal{M}^-_{λ,Λ}$ operator, we show the existence of a critical exponent and give bounds for it.
We establish an optimal C^{1,α}-regularity for viscosity solutions of degenerate/singular fully nonlinear elliptic equations by finding minimal regularity requirements on the associated operator.
In this paper, we prove the pointwise boundary differentiability for viscosity solutions of fully nonlinear elliptic equations. This generalizes the previous related results for linear equations. The geometrical conditions in this paper are pointwise and more general than before. Moreover, our proofs are relatively simple.
We establish some existence results for a class of critical elliptic problems with singular exponential nonlinearities. We do not assume any global sign conditions on the nonlinearity, which makes our results new even in the nonsingular case.
In this paper, we prove the existence and regularity of weak positive solutions for a class of nonlinear elliptic equations with a singular nonlinearity, lower order terms and $L^{1}$ datum in the setting of variable exponent Sobolev spaces. We will prove that the lower order term has some regularizing effects on the solutions. This work generalizes some results given in \cite{1}.
In this paper, we study the exterior Dirichlet problem for the fully nonlinear elliptic equation $f(λ(D^{2}u))=1$. We obtain the necessary and sufficient conditions of existence of radial solutions with prescribed asymptotic behavior at infinity.
It is shown by means of reiterated two-scale convergence in the Sobolev-Orlicz setting, that the sequence of solutions of a class of highly oscillatory problems involving nonlinear elliptic operators with nonstandard growth, converges to a solution of a suitable homogeneous nonlinear elliptic equation associated to an operator with nonstandard growth.
We provide the Alexandroff-Bakelman-Pucci estimate and global $C^{1, α}$-regularity for a class of singular/degenerate fully nonlinear elliptic equations. We also derive the existence of a viscosity solution to the Dirichlet problem with the associated operator.
This paper concerns fully nonlinear elliptic obstacle problems with oblique boundary conditions. We investigate the existence, uniqueness and $W^{2,p}$-regularity results by finding approximate non-obstacle problems with the same oblique boundary condition and then making a suitable limiting process.
We establish quantitative asymptotic behavior of positive solutions of a family of nonlinear elliptic equations on the half cylinder near the end. This unifies the study of isolated singularities of some semilinear elliptic equations, such as the Yamabe equation, Hardy-Hénon equation etc.
In the present paper, we study sharp C^{1;α} regularity results with boundary Neumann condition for viscosity solutions for a class of degenerate fully non-linear elliptic equations with Neumann boundary conditions.
Existence of positive solution for a nonlinear elliptic equation with saddle-like potential and nonlinearity with exponential critical growth in $\mathbb{R}^{2}$
We study the boundary continuity of solutions to fully nonlinear elliptic equations. We first define a capacity for operators in non-divergence form and derive several capacitary estimates. Secondly, we formulate the Wiener criterion, which characterizes a regular boundary point via potential theory. Our approach utilizes the asymptotic behavior of homogeneous solutions, together with Harnack inequality and the comparison principle.
We establish a Lipschitz stability inequality for the problem of determining the nonlinear term in a quasilinear elliptic equation by boundary measurements. We give a proof based on a linearization procedure together with special solutions constructed from the fundamental solution of the linearized problem.
