The main purpose of this paper is to present various identities and computation formulas for certain classes of Apostol-type numbers and polynomials. The results of this paper contain not only the $λ$-Apostol-Daehee numbers and polynomials, but also Simsek numbers and polynomials, the Stirling numbers of the first kind, the Daehee numbers, and the Chu-Vandermonde identity. Furthermore, we derive an infinite series representation for the $λ$-Apostol-Daehee polynomials. By using functional equations containing the generating functions for the Cauchy numbers and the Riemann integrals of the generating functions for the $λ$-Apostol-Daehee numbers and polynomials, we also derive some identities and formulas for these numbers and polynomials. Moreover, we give implementation of a computation formula for the $λ$-Apostol-Daehee polynomials in Mathematica by Wolfram language. By this implementation, we also present some plots of these polynomials in order to investigate their behaviour some randomly selected special cases of its parameters. Finally, we conclude the paper with some comments and observations on our results.
The Apostol-Dedekind sum with quasi-periodic Euler functions is an analogue of Apostol's definition of the generalized Dedekind sum with periodic Bernoulli functions. In this paper, using the Boole summation formula, we shall obtain the reciprocity formula for this sum.
In this paper, by introducing the degenerate Fubini-type polynomials, we give several relations with the help of the Faà di Bruno formula and some properties of Bell polynomials, and generating function methods. Also, we derive some new explicit formulas and recurrence relations for Fubini-type polynomials and numbers. Associating the degenerate Fubini-type polynomials newly defined here with degenerate Apostol-Bernoulli polynomials and degenerate Apostol-Euler polynomials of order α enables us to present additional relations for some degenerate special polynomials and numbers.
Many authors studied mix type polynomials and their properties. For their numerous uses in Statistics, Combinatorial analysis and Number theory. In the present article, we define a generating function of mix type Bell based Apostol type polynomials and numbers of order a. Furthermore, we derive some elementary properties and identities of Bell based Apostol type polynomials of order a such as correlation formulas, Implicit summation formulas, derivative formulas and their special cases. Also, we derive some relation with Stirling numbers.
The present paper deals with multiplication formulas for the Apostol-Genocchi polynomials of higher order and deduces some explicit recursive formulas. Some earlier results of Carlitz and Howard in terms of Genocchi numbers can be deduced. We introduce the 2-variable Apostol-Genocchi polynomials and then we consider the multiplication theorem for 2-variable Genocchi polynomials. Also we introduce generalized Apostol-Genocchi polynomials with a; b; c parameters and we obtain several identities on generalized Apostol-Genocchi polynomials with a; b; c parameters
We prove the simultaneous multiplication formulas for Apostol-Bernoulli polynomials and generalized Frobenius-Euler polynomials. These formulas contain Dedekind-Rademacher sums, Apostol-Dedekind sums and Fourier-Dedekind sums.
In this paper, by using the orthogonality type as defined in the umbral calculus, we derive explicit formula for several well known polynomials as a linear combination of the Apostol-Euler polynomials.
In the present paper, we obtain new interesting relations and identities of the Apostol-Bernoulli polynomials of higher order, which are derived using a Bernoulli polynomial basis. Finally, by utilizing our method, we also derive formulas for the convolutions of Bernoulli and Euler polynomials, expressed via Apostol-Bernoulli polynomials of higher order.
Dedekind symbols are generalizations of the classical Dedekind sums (symbols). There is a natural isomorphism between the space of Dedekind symbols with Laurent polynomial reciprocity laws and the space of modular forms. We will define a new elliptic analogue of the Apostol-Dedekind sums. Then we will show that the newly defined sums generate all odd Dedekind symbols with Laurent polynomial reciprocity laws. Our construction is based on Machide's result on his elliptic Dedekind-Rademacher sums. As an application of our results, we discover Eisenstein series identities which generalize certain …
In this paper, we present a new type of generating function of generalized Apostol-Bernoulli poly Daehee polynomial (GABPDP). By using the generating function of GABPDP, we discuss some special cases and useful identities of generalized Apostol-Bernoulli poly Daehee polynomials. We also drive implicit summation formulae of it.
In this paper we evaluate sums and integrals of products of Fubini polynomials and have new explicit formulas for Fubini polynomials and numbers. As a consequence of these results new explicit formulas for p-Bernoulli numbers and Apostol-Bernoulli functions are given. Besides, integrals of products of Apostol-Bernoulli functions are derived.
In [3] Bege introduced the generalized Apostol's Mobius functions. In this paper we are presenting new properties of this functions. By introducing the special set of k-free numbers we have obtained some asymptotic formulas for the partial sums of these functions.
Recently, the numbers $Y_{n}(λ)$ and the polynomials $Y_{n}(x,λ)$ have been introduced by the second author [22]. The purpose of this paper is to construct higher-order of these numbers and polynomials with their generating functions. By using these generating functions with their functional equations and derivative equations, we derive various identities and relations including two recurrence relations, Vandermonde type convolution formula, combinatorial sums, the Bernstein basis functions, and also some well known families of special numbers and their interpolation functions such as the Apos…
In this paper, we introduce vast generalizations of the Hardy-Berndt sums. They involve higher-order Euler and/or Bernoulli functions, in which the variables are affected by certain linear shifts. By employing the Fourier series technique we derive linear relations for these sums. In particular, these relations yield reciprocity formulas for Carlitz, Rademacher, Mikolás and Apostol type generalizations of the Hardy-Berndt sums, and give rise to generalizations for some Goldberg's three-term relations. We also present an elementary proof for the Mikolás' linear relation and a reciprocity formul…
The aim of this paper is to define some new number-theoretic functions including necklaces polynomials and the numbers of special words such as Lyndon words. By using Dirichlet convolution formula with well-known number-theoretic functions, we derive some new identities and relations associated with Dirichlet series, Lambert series, and also the family of zeta functions including the Riemann zeta functions and polylogarithm functions. By using analytic (meromorphic) continuation of zeta functions, we also derive identities and formulas including Bernoulli numbers and Apostol-Bernoulli numbers.…

In this paper, we derive a formula for the p-adic syntomic regulators of Asai--Flach classes. These are cohomology classes forming an Euler system associated to a Hilbert modular form over a quadratic field, introduced in an earlier paper (arXiv:1607.07813) by Antonio Lei and the first and third authors. The formula we develop here is expressed in terms of differential operators acting on overconvergent Hilbert modular forms; it is analogous to existing formulae for the regulators of Beilinson--Flach classes, but a novel feature is the appearance of a projection operator associated to a critic…
The Grothendieck-Ogg-Shafarevich formula calculates the l-adic Euler-Poincare number of an l-adic sheaf on a curve by an invariant produced by the wild ramification of the l-adic sheaf named Swan class. A. Abbes, K. Kato and T. Saito generalize this formula to any dimensional scheme. In this paper, assuming the strong resolution of singularities we prove a localized version of a formula proved by A. Abbes and T. Saito using the characteristic class of an l-adic sheaf. As an application, we prove a conductor formula in equal characteristic.
The Grothendieck-Ogg-Shafarevich formula is generalized to any dimensional scheme by Abbes-Kato-Saito. In this paper, we introduce two methods of localization of the characteristic classes for sheaves of rank 1 and compare them. As a corollary of this comparison, we obtain a refinement of a formula proved by Abbes-Saito without denominator for a smooth sheaf of rank 1 which is clean with respect to the boundary.
We deduce a formula enumerating the isomorphism classes of extensions of a $\kp$-adic field $K$ with given ramification $e$ and inertia $f$. The formula follows from a simple group-theoretic lemma, plus the Krasner formula and an elementary class field theory computation. It shows that the number of classes only depends on the ramification and inertia of the extensions $K/\Q_p$, and $K(ζ_{p^m})/K$ obtained adding the $p^m$-th roots of 1, for all $p^m$ dividing $e$.
