This paper continues our recent studies on the algebraic Bethe ansatz for the RTT-algebras of sp($2n$) and o($2n$) types. In these studies, we encountered the RTT-algebras which we called An. The next step in our construction of the Bethe vectors for the RTT-algebras of type sp($2n$) and o($2n$) is to find the Bethe vectors for the RTT-algebras $\mathcal{A}_n$. This paper deals with the construction of the Bethe vectors of the RTT-algebra An using the Bethe vectors of the RTT-algebra $\mathcal{A}_{n-1}$.
We study the highest weight representations of the RTT--algebras for the R--matrix sp(4) type by the nested algebraic Bethe ansatz. These models were solved by Reshetikhin for sp(2n) but using a very special type of representation. The explicit construction of the Bethe vectors is carried out in the general case and the explicit formulae for the Bethe equations are derived. In conclusion, the direct generalization for sp(2n) is formulated.
We study the highest weight representations of the RTT algebras for the R matrix of sp_q(2n) type by the nested algebraic Bethe ansatz. It is a generalization of our study for R matrix of sp(2n) and so(2n) type
In this proceeding we present the nested Bethe ansatz for open spin chains of XXX-type, with arbitrary representations (i.e. `spins') on each site of the chain and diagonal boundary matrices $(K^+(u),K^-(u))$. The nested Bethe anstaz applies for a general $K^-(u)$, but a particular form of the $K^+(u)$ matrix. We give the eigenvalues, Bethe equations and the form of the Bethe vectors for the corresponding models. The Bethe vectors are expressed using a trace formula.
We present in an unified and detailed way the nested Bethe ansatz for open spin chains based on Y(gl(\fn)), Y(gl(\fm|\fn)), U_{q}(gl(\fn)) or U_{q}(gl(\fm|\fn)) (super)algebras, with arbitrary representations (i.e. `spins') on each site of the chain and diagonal boundary matrices (K^+(u),K^-(u)). The nested Bethe anstaz applies for a general K^-(u), but a particular form of the K^+(u) matrix. The construction extends and unifies the results already obtained for open spin chains based on fundamental representation and for some particular super-spin chains. We give the eigenvalues, Bethe equatio…
We study quantum Uq(gl(N)) integrable models solvable by the nested algebraic Bethe ansatz. Different formulas are given for the right and left universal off-shell nested Bethe vectors. It is shown that these formulas can be related by certain morphisms of the positive Borel subalgebra in Uq(gl(N)) into analogous subalgebra in Uq'(gl(N)), with q'=1/q.
We present a nested algebraic Bethe ansatz for one-dimensional open so(2n)- and sp(2n)-symmetric spin chains with diagonal boundary conditions and described by the extended twisted Yangian. We use a generalization of the Bethe ansatz introduced by De Vega and Karowski which allows us to relate the spectral problem of a so(2n)- or sp(2n)-symmetric open spin chain to that of a gl(n)-symmetric open spin chain. We explicitly derive the structure of Bethe vectors and the nested Bethe equations.
We construct exact eigenvectors and eigenvalues for $U_q(\mathfrak{sp}_{2n})$- and $U_q(\mathfrak{so}_{2n})$-symmetric closed spin chains by means of a nested algebraic Bethe ansatz method. We use a fusion procedure to construct higher-dimensional Lax operators. Our approach generalises and extends the results obtained by Reshetikhin and De Vega-Karowski. We also present a generalisation of Tarasov-Varchenko trace formula for nested Bethe vectors.
We reformulate nested relations between off-shell $U_q(\widehat{\mathfrak{gl}}_N)$ Bethe vectors as a certain equation on generating series of strings of the composed $U_q(\widehat{\mathfrak{gl}}_N)$ currents. Using inversion of the generating series we find a new type of hierarchical relations between universal off-shell Bethe vectors, useful for a derivation of Bethe equation. As an example of application, we use these relations for a derivation of analytical Bethe ansatz equations [Arnaudon D. et al., Ann. Henri Poincaré 7 (2006), 1217-1268, math-ph/0512037] for the parameters of universal …
We give a detailed description of the nested algebraic Bethe ansatz. We consider integrable models with a $\mathfrak{gl}_3$-invariant $R$-matrix as the basic example, however, we also describe possible generalizations. We give recursions and explicit formulas for the Bethe vectors. We also give a representation for the Bethe vectors in the form of a trace formula.
We propose a new approach to the spinor-spinor R-matrix with orthogonal and symplectic symmetry. Based on this approach and the fusion method we relate the spinor-vector and vector-vector monodromy matrices for quantum spin chains. We consider the explicit spinor R matrices of low rank orthogonal algebras and the corresponding RTT algebras. Coincidences with fundamental R matrices allow to relate the Algebraic Bethe Ansatz for spinor and vector monodromy matrices.
A system of O(N)-matrix difference equations is solved by means of the off-shell version of the nested algebraic Bethe ansatz. In the nesting process a new object, the $Π$-matrix, is introduced to overcome the complexities of the O(N) group structure. The proof of the main theorem is presented in detail. In particular, the cancellation of all unwanted terms is shown explicitly. The highest weight property of the solutions is proved.
In [1, 2], Nekrasov applied the Bethe/gauge correspondence to derive the $\mathfrak{su}\, (2)$ XXX spin-chain coordinate Bethe wavefunction from the IR limit of a 2D $\mathcal{N}=(2, 2)$ supersymmetric $A_1$ quiver gauge theory with an orbifold-type codimension-2 defect. Later, Bullimore, Kim and Lukowski implemented Nekrasov's construction at the level of the UV $A_1$ quiver gauge theory, recovered his result, and obtained further extensions of the Bethe/gauge correspondence [3]. In this work, we extend the construction of the defect to $A_M$ quiver gauge theories to obtain the $\mathfrak{su}…
We give combinatorial formulae for vector-valued weight functions (off-shell nested Bethe vectors) for tensor products of irreducible evaluation modules over the Yangian $Y({\mathfrak{gl}}_N)$ and the quantum affine algebra $U_q(\widetilde{\mathfrak{gl}_N})$. The results of the paper were obtained in 1998 and were used in math.QA/9905137, math.QA/0302148, math.QA/0610517.
The nested off-diagonal Bethe ansatz method is proposed to diagonalize multi-component integrable models with generic integrable boundaries. As an example, the exact solutions of the su(n)-invariant spin chain model with both periodic and non-diagonal boundaries are derived by constructing the nested T-Q relations based on the operator product identities among the fused transfer matrices and the asymptotic behavior of the transfer matrices.
We present a nested algebraic Bethe ansatz for a one dimensional open spin chain whose boundary quantum spaces are irreducible $\mathfrak{so}_{2n}$- or $\mathfrak{sp}_{2n}$-representations and the monodromy matrix satisfies the defining relations of the Olshanskii twisted Yangian $Y^\pm(\mathfrak{gl}_{2n})$. We use a generalization of the Bethe ansatz introduced by De Vega and Karowski which allows us to relate the spectral problem of a $\mathfrak{so}_{2n}$- or $\mathfrak{sp}_{2n}$-symmetric open spin chain to that of a $\mathfrak{gl}_{n}$-symmetric periodic spin chain. We explicitly derive th…
Recent interest in discrete, classical integrable systems has focused on their connection to quantum integrable systems via the Bethe equations. In this note, solutions to the rational nested Bethe ansatz (RNBA) equations are constructed using the ``completed Calogero-Moser phase space'' of matrices which satisfy a finite dimensional analogue of the canonical commutation relationship. A key feature is the fact that the RNBA equations are derived only from this commutation relationship and some elementary linear algebra. The solutions constructed in this way inherit continuous and discrete symm…
This short note summarizes the works done in collaboration between S. Belliard (CEA, Saclay), L. Frappat (LAPTh, Annecy), S. Pakuliak (JINR, Dubna), E. Ragoucy (LAPTh, Annecy), N. Slavnov (Steklov Math. Inst., Moscow) and more recently A. Hutsalyuk (Wuppertal / Moscow) and A. Liashyk (Kiev / Moscow). It presents the construction of Bethe vectors, their scalar products and the form factors of local operator for integrable models based on the (super)algebras $gl_n$, $gl_{m|p}$ or their quantum deformations. We present in an unified and detailed way the Nested Bethe Ansatz for closed spin chains based on Y(gl(n)), Y(gl(m|n)), U_q(gl(n)) or U_q(gl(m|n)) (super)algebras, with arbitrary representations (i.e. `spins') on each site of the chain. In particular, the case of indecomposable representations of superalgebras is studied. The construction extends and unifies the results already obtained for spin chains based on Y(gl(n)) or U_q(gl(n)) and for some particular super-spin chains. We give the Bethe equations and the form of the Bethe vectors. The case of gl(2|1), gl(2|2$ and gl(4|4) superalgebras (…
We apply the nested algebraic Bethe ansatz to a model of one-dimensional two-component Bose gas with delta-function repulsive interaction. Using a lattice approximation of the L-operator we find Bethe vectors of the model in the continuous limit. We also obtain a series representation for the monodromy matrix of the model in terms of Bose fields. This representation allows us to study an asymptotic expansion of the monodromy matrix over the spectral parameter.
We consider quantum integrable models solvable by the nested algebraic Bethe ansatz and possessing $\mathfrak{gl}(N)$-invariant $R$-matrix. We study two types of Bethe vectors. The first type corresponds to the original monodromy matrix. The second type is associated to a monodromy matrix closely related to the inverse of the monodromy matrix. We show that these two types of the Bethe vectors are identical up to normalization and reshuffling of the Bethe parameters. To prove this correspondence we use the current approach. This identity gives new combinatorial relations for the scalar products…
We study quantum integrable models with GL(3) trigonometric $R$-matrix and solvable by the nested algebraic Bethe ansatz. Using the presentation of the universal Bethe vectors in terms of projections of products of the currents of the quantum affine algebra $U_q(\hat{\mathfrak{gl}}_3)$ onto intersections of different types of Borel subalgebras, we prove that the set of the nested Bethe vectors is closed under the action of the elements of the monodromy matrix.
We study scalar products of Bethe vectors in the models solvable by the nested algebraic Bethe ansatz and described by $\mathfrak{gl}(m|n)$ superalgebra. Using coproduct properties of the Bethe vectors we obtain a sum formula for their scalar products. This formula describes the scalar product in terms of a sum over partitions of Bethe parameters. We also obtain recursions for the Bethe vectors. This allows us to find recursions for the highest coefficient of the scalar product.
We study $\mathfrak{gl}(2|1)$ symmetric integrable models solvable by the nested algebraic Bethe ansatz. Using explicit formulas for the Bethe vectors we derive the actions of the monodromy matrix entries onto these vectors. We show that the result of these actions is a finite linear combination of Bethe vectors. The obtained formulas open a way for studying scalar products of Bethe vectors.
Using the nested coordinate Bethe ansatz, we study 33-vertex models, where only one global charge with degenerate eigenvalues exists and each site possesses three internal degrees of freedom. In the context of Markovian processes, they correspond to diffusing particles with two possible internal states which may be exchanged during the diffusion (transmutation). The first step of the nested coordinate Bethe ansatz is performed providing the eigenvalues in terms of rapidities. We give the constraints ensuring the consistency of the computations. These rapidities also satisfy Bethe equations inv…
We study quantum integrable models solvable by the nested algebraic Bethe ansatz and possessing $\mathfrak{gl}(m|n)$-invariant $R$-matrix. We compute the norm of the Hamiltonian eigenstates. Using the notion of a generalized model we show that the square of the norm obeys a number of properties that uniquely fix it. We also show that a Jacobian of the system of Bethe equations obeys the same properties. In this way we prove a generalized Gaudin hypothesis for the norm of the Hamiltonian eigenstates.
We obtain recursion formulas for the Bethe vectors of models with periodic boundary conditions solvable by the nested algebraic Bethe ansatz and based on the quantum affine algebra $U_q(\widehat{\mathfrak{gl}}_{n})$. We also present a sum formula for their scalar products. This formula describes the scalar product in terms of a sum over partitions of the Bethe parameters, whose factors are characterized by two highest coefficients. We provide different recursions for these highest coefficients. In addition, we show that when the Bethe vectors are on-shell, their norm takes the form of a Gaudin…
We study SU(3)-invariant integrable models solvable by nested algebraic Bethe ansatz. Different formulas are given for the Bethe vectors and the actions of the generators of the Yangian Y(sl(3)) on Bethe vectors are considered. These actions are relevant for the calculation of correlation functions and form factors of local operators of the underlying quantum models.
We study SU(3)-invariant integrable models solvable by nested algebraic Bethe ansatz. We obtain a determinant representation for particular case of scalar products of Bethe vectors. This representation can be used for the calculation of form factors and correlation functions of XXX SU(3)-invariant Heisenberg chain.

An integral presentation for the scalar products of nested Bethe vectors for the quantum integrable models associated with the quantum affine algebra $U_q(\hat{\mathfrak{gl}}_3)$ is given. This result is obtained in the framework of the universal Bethe ansatz, using presentation of the universal Bethe vectors in terms of the total currents of a "new" realization of the quantum affine algebra $U_q(\hat{\mathfrak{gl}}_3)$.
We study the integrable two-species asymmetric simple exclusion process (ASEP) for two inequivalent types of open, non particle conserving boundary conditions. Employing the nested off-diagonal Bethe ansatz method, we construct for each case the corresponding homogeneous $T$-$Q$ relations and obtain the Bethe ansatz equations. Numerical checks for small system sizes show completeness for some Bethe ansatz equations, and partial completeness for others.

We consider quantum integrable models solvable by the nested algebraic Bethe ansatz and possessing $\mathfrak{gl}_3$-invariant $R$-matrix. We study a new recently proposed approach to construct on-shell Bethe vectors of these models. We prove that the vectors constructed by this method are semi-on-shell Bethe vectors for arbitrary values of Bethe parameters. They thus do become on-shell vectors provided the system of Bethe equations is fulfilled.
By combining the algebraic Bethe ansatz and the off-diagonal Bethe ansatz, we investigate the supersymmetric t-J model with generic open boundaries. The eigenvalues of the transfer matrix are given in terms of an inhomogeneous T-Q relation, and the corresponding eigenstates are expressed in terms of nested Bethe states which have well-defined homogeneous limit. This exact solution provides basis for further analyzing the thermodynamic properties and correlation functions of the model.
We consider the XXX-type and Gaudin quantum integrable models associated with the Lie algebra $gl_N$. The models are defined on a tensor product irreducible $gl_N$-modules. For each model, there exist $N$ one-parameter families of commuting operators on the tensor product, called the transfer matrices. We show that the Bethe vectors for these models, given by the algebraic nested Bethe ansatz are eigenvectors of higher transfer matrices and compute the corresponding eigenvalues.
We study integrable models with $\mathfrak{gl}(2|1)$ symmetry and solvable by nested algebraic Bethe ansatz. We obtain a determinant representation for scalar products of Bethe vectors, when the Bethe parameters obey some relations weaker than the Bethe equations. This representation allows us to find the norms of on-shell Bethe vectors and obtain determinant formulas for form factors of the diagonal entries of the monodromy matrix.
An exact solution of the model of fully packed loops of two colors on a square lattice has recently been proposed by Dei Cont and Nienhuis using the coordinate Bethe Ansatz approach. We point out here a simpler alternative, in which the transfer matrix is directly identified as a product of R-matrices; this allows to apply the (nested) algebraic Bethe Ansatz, which leads to the same Bethe equations. We comment on some of the applications of this result.
In this paper we compare two constructions of weight functions (off-shell Bethe vectors) for the quantum affine algebra $U_q(\hat{\mathfrak{gl}}_N)$. The first construction comes from the algebraic nested Bethe ansatz. The second one is defined in terms of certain projections of products of Drinfeld currents. We show that two constructions give the same result in tensor products of vector representations of $U_q(\hat{\mathfrak{gl}}_N)$.
We study the tensor product of the {\it higher spin representations} (see the definition in Sect. 2.2) of the elliptic quantum group $E_{τ,η}(sl_n)$. The transfer matrices associated with the $E_{τ,η}(sl_n)$-module are exactly diagonalized by the nested Bethe ansatz method. Some special cases of the construction give the exact solution for the $Z_n$ Belavin model and for the elliptic $A_{n-1}$ Ruijsenaars-Schneider model.
We consider a composite generalized quantum integrable model solvable by the nested algebraic Bethe ansatz. Using explicit formulas of the action of the monodromy matrix elements onto Bethe vectors in the GL(3)-based quantum integrable models we prove a formula for the Bethe vectors of composite model. We show that this representation is a particular case of general coproduct property of the weight functions (Bethe vectors) found in the theory of the deformed Knizhnik-Zamolodchikov equation.
In this paper we apply the nested algebraic Bethe ansatz to compute the eigenvalues and the Bethe equations of the transfer matrix of the new integrable Lindbladian found in [1]. We show that it can be written as an integrable spin chain consisting of two interacting XXZ spin chains. We numerically compute the Liouville gap and its dependence on the parameters in the system such as scaling with the system length and interaction strength.
We study scalar products of Bethe vectors in integrable models solvable by nested algebraic Bethe ansatz and possessing $\mathfrak{gl}(2|1)$ symmetry. Using explicit formulas of the monodromy matrix entries multiple actions onto Bethe vectors we obtain a representation for the scalar product in the most general case. This explicit representation appears to be a sum over partitions of the Bethe parameters. It can be used for the analysis of scalar products involving on-shell Bethe vectors. As a by-product, we obtain a determinant representation for the scalar products of generic Bethe vectors i…
We construct the Drinfeld twists (factorizing $F$-matrices) of the $gl(m|n)$-invariant fermion model. Completely symmetric representation of the pseudo-particle creation operators of the model are obtained in the basis provided by the $F$-matrix (the $F$-basis). We resolve the hierarchy of the nested Bethe vectors in the $F$-basis for the $gl(m|n)$ supersymmetric model.
Currently Gutzwiller projection technique and nested Bethe ansatz are two main methods used to handle electronic systems in the $U$ infinity limit. We demonstrate that these two approaches describe two distinct physical systems. In the nested Bethe ansatz solutions, there is a decoupling between the spin and charge degrees of freedom. Such a decoupling is absent in the Gutzwiller projection technique. Whereas in the Gutzwiller approach, the usual antisymmetry of space and spin coordinates is maintained, we show that the Bethe ansatz wave function is compatible with a new form of quantum statis…
By combining the algebraic Bethe ansatz and the off-diagonal Bethe ansatz, we investigate the trigonometric SU(3) model with generic open boundaries. The eigenvalues of the transfer matrix are given in terms of an inhomogeneous T-Q relation, and the corresponding eigenstates are expressed in terms of nested Bethe-type eigenstates which have well-defined homogeneous limit. This exact solution provides a basis for further analyzing the thermodynamic properties and correlation functions of the anisotropic models associated with higher rank algebras.
We show that eigenvalues of the family of Baxter Q-operators for supersymmetric integrable spin chains constructed with the gl(K|M)-invariant $R$-matrix obey the Hirota bilinear difference equation. The nested Bethe ansatz for super spin chains, with any choice of simple root system, is then treated as a discrete dynamical system for zeros of polynomial solutions to the Hirota equation. Our basic tool is a chain of Backlund transformations for the Hirota equation connecting quantum transfer matrices. This approach also provides a systematic way to derive the complete set of generalized Baxter …
We present a study of the two species totally asymmetric diffusion model using the Bethe ansatz. The Hamiltonian has $U_q(SU(3))$ symmetry. We derive the nested Bethe ansatz equations and obtain the dynamical critical exponent from the finite-size scaling properties of the eigenvalue with the smallest real part. The dynamical critical exponent is 3/2 which is the exponent corresponding to KPZ growth in the single species asymmetric diffusion model.
The nested off-diagonal Bethe ansatz is generalized to study the quantum spin chain associated with the $SU_q(3)$ R-matrix and generic integrable non-diagonal boundary conditions. By using the fusion technique, certain closed operator identities among the fused transfer matrices at the inhomogeneous points are derived. The corresponding asymptotic behaviors of the transfer matrices and their values at some special points are given in detail. Based on the functional analysis, a nested inhomogeneous T-Q relations and Bethe ansatz equations of the system are obtained. These results can be natural…
We consider a generalized model with SU(3)-invariant R-matrix, and review the nested Bethe Ansatz for constructing eigenvectors of the transfer matrix. A sum formula for the scalar product between generic Bethe vectors, originally obtained by Reshetikhin [11], is discussed. This formula depends on a certain partition function Z(\{λ\},\{μ\}|\{w\},\{v\}), which we evaluate explicitly. In the limit when the variables \{μ\} or \{v\} approach infinity, this object reduces to the domain wall partition function of the six-vertex model Z(\{λ\}|\{w\}). Using this fact, we obtain a new expression for th…
We consider rational integrable supersymmetric gl(m|n) spin chains in the defining representation and prove the isomorphism between a commutative algebra of conserved charges (the Bethe algebra) and a polynomial ring (the Wronskian algebra) defined by functional relations between Baxter Q-functions that we call Wronskian Bethe equations. These equations, in contrast to standard nested Bethe equations, admit only physical solutions for any value of inhomogeneities and furthermore we prove that the algebraic number of solutions to these equations is equal to the dimension of the spin chain Hilbe…
The Bethe ansatz solution of periodic TASEP is formulated in terms of a ramified covering from a Riemann surface to the sphere. The joint probability distribution of height fluctuations at $n$ distinct times has in particular a relatively simple expression as a function of $n$ variables on the Riemann surface built from exponentials of Abelian integrals, traced over the ramified covering and integrated on $n$ nested contours in the complex plane.
Using the algebraic Bethe ansatz, we derive a matrix product representation of the exact Bethe-ansatz states of the six-vertex Heisenberg chain (either XXX or XXZ and spin-$\frac{1}{2}$) with open boundary conditions. In this representation, the components of the Bethe eigenstates are expressed as traces of products of matrices which act on a tensor product of auxiliary spaces. As compared to the matrix product states of the same Heisenberg chain but with periodic boundary conditions, the dimension of the exact auxiliary matrices is enlarged as if the conserved number of spin-flips considered …
The problem of separation of variables (SoV) in supersymmetric spin chains is closely related to the calculation of correlation functions in N=4 SYM theory which is integrable in the planar limit. To address this question we find a compact formula for the spin chain eigenstates, which does not have any sums over auxiliary roots one usually gets in the widely adopted nested Bethe ansatz. Our construction only involves one application of a simple Bg(u_k) operator to the reference state for each of the magnons, in complete analogy with the su(2) algebraic Bethe ansatz. This generalizes our SoV ba…
We generalize the nested off-diagonal Bethe ansatz method to study the quantum chain associated with the twisted $D^{(2)}_3$ algebra (or the $D^{(2)}_3$ model) with either periodic or integrable open boundary conditions. We obtain the intrinsic operator product identities among the fused transfer matrices and find a way to close the recursive fusion relations, which makes it possible to determinate eigenvalues of transfer matrices with an arbitrary anisotropic parameter $η$. Based on them, and the asymptotic behaviors and values at certain points, we construct eigenvalues of transfer matrices …
