We apply the method of QCD sum rules to study the $s s \bar s \bar s$ tetraquark states of $J^{PC} = 0^{-+}$. We construct all the relevant $s s \bar s \bar s$ tetraquark currents, and find that there are only two independent ones. We use them to further construct two weakly-correlated mixed currents. One of them leads to reliable QCD sum rule results and the mass is extracted to be $2.51^{+0.15}_{-0.12}$ GeV, suggesting that the $X(2370)$ or the $X(2500)$ can be explained as the $ss\bar s\bar s$ tetraquark state of $J^{PC} = 0^{-+}$. To verify this interpretation, we propose to further study the $ππ/K \bar K$ invariant mass spectra of the $J/ψ\to γππη^\prime/γK \bar K η^\prime$ decays in BESIII to examine whether there exists the $f_0(980)$ resonance.
We review how lattice QCD can contribute to the prediction and the comprehension of tetraquarks, pentaquarks and related exotic hadrons, with at least one heavy quark. We include all families of exotic hadrons, except for the quarkless glueballs and the hexaquarks which are related to nuclear physics. Since the discovery of quarks and the development of the QCD theory, there has been a large interest in exotic hadrons, initiated by the tetraquark models developed by Jaffe in 1977. Lattice QCD, being a first principle approach to solve non-perturbative QCD, has been crucial not only to compute …
We review the status of an ongoing long-term lattice investigation of the spectrum and structure of tetraquark candidates. We focus on the light scalar meson $a_0(980)$. First steps regarding the study of a possibly existing $c c \bar{c} \bar{c}$ tetraquark are also outlined.
Motivated by multiple phenomenological considerations, we perform the first search for the existence of a $\bar{b}\bar{b}bb$ tetraquark bound state with a mass below the lowest non-interacting bottomonium-pair threshold using the first-principles lattice non-relativistic QCD methodology. We use a full $S$-wave colour/spin basis for the $\bar{b}\bar{b}bb$ operators in the three $0^{++}$, $1^{+-}$ and $2^{++}$ channels. We employ four gluon field ensembles at multiple lattice spacing values ranging from $a = 0.06 - 0.12$ fm, all of which include $u$, $d$, $s$ and $c$ quarks in the sea, and one e…
We combine lattice QCD results for the potential of two static antiquarks in the presence of two quarks $q q$ of finite mass and quark model techniques to study possibly existing $q q \bar{b} \bar{b}$ tetraquarks. While there is strong indication for a bound four-quark state for $q q = (ud-du) / \sqrt{2}$, i.e. isospin $I=0$, we find clear evidence against the existence of corresponding tetraquarks with $q q \in \{ uu , (ud+du) / \sqrt{2} , dd \}$, i.e. isospin $I=1$, $q q = s s$ and $q q = c c$.
We apply the method of QCD sum rules to study the structure $X$ newly observed by the BESIII Collaboration in the $ϕη^\prime$ mass spectrum in 2.0-2.1 GeV region in the $J/ψ\rightarrow ϕηη^\prime$ decay. We construct all the $s s \bar s \bar s$ tetraquark currents with $J^{PC} = 1^{+-}$, and use them to perform QCD sum rule analyses. One current leads to reliable QCD sum rule results and the mass is extracted to be $2.00^{+0.10}_{-0.09}$ GeV, suggesting that the structure $X$ can be interpreted as an $s s \bar s \bar s$ tetraquark state with $J^{PC} = 1^{+-}$. The $Y(2175)$ can be interpreted …
Utilizing lattice QCD results for the potential of two static antiquarks and two dynamical quarks as well as quark model techniques for the dynamics of two heavy antiquarks in a cloud of two light quarks, we are provided with an accurate framework for the study of possibly existing heavy-heavy-light-light tetraquarks. Among the possible quantum numbers of such a system, we find binding in only one channel, the scalar isosinglet. Solving the Schroedinger equation for the displacement of the heavy antiquarks and taking systematic errors into account, we find an antibottom-antibottom-light-light …
We have studied the masses for fully open-flavor tetraquark states $bc\bar{q}\bar{s}$ and $sc\bar{q}\bar{b}$ with quantum numbers $J^{P}=0^{+},1^{+}$. We systematically construct all diquark-antiquark interpolating currents and calculate the two-point correlation functions and spectral densities in the framework of QCD sum rule method. Our calculations show that the masses are about $7.1-7.2$ GeV for the $bc\bar{q}\bar{s}$ tetraquark states and $7.0-7.1$ GeV for the $sc\bar{q}\bar{b}$ tetraquarks. The masses of $bc\bar{q}\bar{s}$ tetraquarks are below the thresholds of $\bar{B}_{s}D$ and $\bar…
The colour fields created by the static tetraquark system are computed in quenched SU(3) lattice QCD, in a 24^3 x 48 lattice at beta=6.2 corresponding to a lattice spacing a=0.07261(85) fm. We find that the tetraquark colour fields are well described by a double-Y, or butterfly, shaped flux tube. The two flux tube junction points are compatible with Fermat points minimizing the total flux tube length. We also compare the diquark-diantiquark central flux tube profile in the tetraquark with the quark-antiquark fundamental flux tube profile in the meson, and they match, thus showing that the tetr…
Within the framework of QCD sum rules, we have investigated the tetraquark states with three heavy quarks. We systematically construct the interpolating currents for the possible $cc\bar{c}\bar{q}$, $cc\bar{b}\bar{q}$, $bc\bar{b}\bar{q}$, $bb\bar{b}\bar{q}$ tetraquark states with quantum numbers $J^{P}=0^{+}$ and $J^{P}=1^{+}$. Using these interpolating currents, we have calculated the two-point correlation functions and extracted the mass spectra for the above tetraquark states. We also discuss the decay patterns of these tetraquarks, and notice that the $cc\bar{c}\bar{q}$, $cc\bar{b}\bar{q}$…
We study the multiquark hadrons in large $N$ QCD under the 't-Hooft limit, extending Witten's picture of the baryons. We explore the decay widths of tetraquarks, pentaquarks and dibaryons. Based on the decay behaviors, we point out in the $N\to \infty$ limit decay widths of tetraquarks stay constant, while those of pentaquarks and dibaryons above certain thresholds can diverge. In the large $N$ limit, we find that the ground states of the three spectroscopic series are stable or narrow and that the excited states of pentaquarks and dibaryons above the indicated thresholds are not observables. …
We revisit the static potential for the $Q Q \bar Q \bar Q$ system using SU(3) lattice simulations, studying both the colour singlets groundstate and first excited state. We consider geometries where the two static quarks and the two anti-quarks are at the corners of rectangles of different sizes. We analyse the transition between a tetraquark system and a two meson system with a two by two correlator matrix. We compare the potentials computed with quenched QCD and with dynamical quarks. We also compare our simulations with the results of previous studies and analyze quantitatively fits of our…
Recently, a QCD sum-rule analysis of tetraquark molecular states has been published, having the objective of demonstrating that our previously formulated tetraquark-adequate QCD sum rules are not correct. This comment brings to the attention of the reader inconsistencies in that article and explains some subtle details of QCD sum rules for exotic states.
In "Landau equation and QCD sum rules for the tetraquark molecular states", I list out six reasons to refute the assertion of Lucha, Melikhov and Sazdjian. In "Comment on "Landau equation and QCD sum rules for the tetraquark molecular states"", they refute my viewpoint. If they want to the refute my viewpoint robustly, they should refute the six reasons one by one, and provide at least one example to illustrate that they have obtained reliable QCD sum rules for the tetraquark states and free two-meson states, respectively.
In this article, we distinguish the charge conjunctions of the interpolating currents, calculate the contributions of the vacuum condensates up to dimension-10 in a consistent way in the operator product expansion, study the masses and pole residues of the $J^{PC}=1^{+\pm}$ hidden charmed tetraquark states with the QCD sum rules, and explore the energy scale dependence in details for the first time. The predictions $M_{X}=3.87^{+0.09}_{-0.09}\,\rm{GeV}$ and $M_{Z}=3.91^{+0.11}_{-0.09}\,\rm{GeV}$ support assigning the $X(3872)$ and $Z_c(3900)$ (or $Z_c(3885)$) as the $1^{++}$ and $1^{+-}$ diqua…
We study the light scalar mesons a_0(980) and kappa using N_f = 2+1+1 flavor lattice QCD. In order to probe the internal structure of these scalar mesons, and in particular to identify, whether a sizeable tetraquark component is present, we use a large set of operators, including diquark-antidiquark, mesonic molecule and two-meson operators. The inclusion of disconnected diagrams, which are technically rather challenging, but which would allow us to extend our work to e.g. the f_0(980) meson, is introduced and discussed.
In this article, we perform a systematic study of the mass spectrum of the scalar doubly charmed and doubly bottom tetraquark states using the QCD sum rules.
We study tetraquark resonances with lattice QCD potentials computed for two static quarks and two dynamical quarks, the Born-Oppenheimer approximation and the emergent wave method of scattering theory. As a proof of concept we focus on systems with isospin $I = 0$, but consider different relative angular momenta $l$ of the heavy $b$ quarks. We compute the phase shifts and search for $\mbox{S}$ and $\mbox{T}$ matrix poles in the second Riemann sheet. We predict a new tetraquark resonance for $l = 1$, decaying into two $B$ mesons, with quantum numbers $I(J^P) = 0(1^-)$, mass $m = 10576_{-4}^{+4}…
In previous works we predicted the existence of a $\bar b \bar b u d$ tetraquark with quantum numbers $I(J^P) = 0(1^+)$ using the static approximation for the $\bar b$ quarks and neglecting heavy spin effects. Since the binding energy is of the same order as expected for these heavy spin effects, it is essential to include them in the computation. Here we present a corresponding method and show evidence that binding is only slightly weakened and that the $\bar b \bar b u d$ tetraquark persists.
We study the low-lying scalar mesons of light u, d, s flavors in the QCD sum rule. Having all possible combinations of tetraquark currents in the local form, QCD sum rule analysis has been carefully performed. We found that using the appropriate tetraquark currents, the masses of sigma, kappa, f_0 and a_0 mesons appear in the region of 0.6 -- 1 GeV with the expected ordering. The results are compared with that of the conventional \bar{q} q currents, where the masses are considerably larger.
In this article, we distinguish the charge conjugations of the interpolating currents, calculate the contributions of the vacuum condensates up to dimension-10 in the operator product expansion, and study the masses and pole residues of the $J^{PC}=1^{-\pm}$ hidden charmed tetraquark states with the QCD sum rules. We suggest a formula $μ=\sqrt{M^2_{X/Y/Z}-(2{\mathbb{M}}_c)^2}$ with the effective mass ${\mathbb{M}}_c=1.8\,\rm{GeV}$ to estimate the energy scales of the QCD spectral densities of the hidden charmed tetraquark states, which works very well. The numerical results disfavor assigning …
We apply the QCD sum rule method to systematically study the $S$- and $P$-wave fully-strange tetraquark states within the diquark-antidiquark picture. We systematically construct their interpolating currents by explicitly adding the covariant derivative operator. Our results suggest that the $f_0(2100)$, $X(2063)$, and $f_2(2010)$ may be explained as the $S$-wave $s s \bar s \bar s$ tetraquark states with the quantum numbers $J^{PC} = 0^{++}$, $1^{+-}$, and $2^{++}$, respectively. Our results also suggest that both the $X(2370)$ and $X(2500)$ may be explained as the $P$-wave $s s \bar s \bar s…
In this article, we investigate the mass spectrum of the ground state hidden-charm tetraquark molecular states without strange, with strange and with hidden-strange via the QCD sum rules in a comprehensive way and revisit the assignments of the $X$, $Y$, $Z$ states in the scenario of tetraquark molecular states consistently based on the QCD sum rules.
In this talk, we briefly report the investigations of the mass spectra for the $cc\bar c\bar c, bb\bar b\bar b$, $bc\bar b\bar c$ and $cc\bar b\bar b$ tetraquark states by using the QCD moment sum rule method. The calculations for the fully-charm $cc\bar c\bar c$ tetraquarks have been successfully predicted the existence of di-$J/ψ$ resonances including $X(6900)$ in LHCb's observation. The quantum numbers for these resonance structures are also suggested. More efforts are still needed in both theoretical and experimental aspects to study the properties of these fully-heavy tetraquark states. T…
In this article, we construct the axialvector-diquark-scalar-antidiquark type currents to interpolate the axialvector doubly heavy tetraquark states, and study them with the QCD sum rules in details by carrying out the operator product expansion up to the vacuum condensates of dimension 10.
In this article, we calculate the contributions of the vacuum condensates up to dimension-10 in the operator product expansion, and study the $Cγ_μ-Cγ_ν$ type scalar, axial-vector and tensor tetraquark states in details with the QCD sum rules. In calculations, we use the formula $μ=\sqrt{M^2_{X/Y/Z}-(2{\mathbb{M}}_c)^2}$ to determine the energy scales of the QCD spectral densities. The predictions $M_{J=2} =\left(4.02^{+0.09}_{-0.09}\right)\,\rm{GeV}$, $M_{J=1} =\left(4.02^{+0.07}_{-0.08}\right)\,\rm{GeV}$ favor assigning the $Z_c(4020)$ and $Z_c(4025)$ as the $J^{PC}=1^{+-}$ or $2^{++}$ diqua…
Tetraquark properties are examined in the limit of large $N_c$ of color in QCD. The qualitative differences between molecular and compact tetraquarks are outlined. Consequences of the possible existence of compact tetraquarks are analyzed and shown to lead to upper bounds in the $N_c$-behavior of their decay widths. Open questions on theoretical grounds, related to the dynamics of systems composed of two quarks and two antiquarks, are addressed.
In this article, we introduce a P-wave between the diquark and antidiquark explicitly to construct the vector tetraquark currents, and study the vector tetraquark states with the QCD sum rules systematically, and obtain the lowest vector tetraquark masses up to now. The present predictions support assigning the $Y(4220/4260)$, $Y(4320/4360)$, $Y(4390)$ and $Z(4250)$ to be the vector tetraquark states with a relative P-wave between the diquark and antidiquark pair.
By using QCD Sum Rules, we found that the charged hidden charm tetraquark $[c u][\bar{c} \bar{d}]$ states with $ J^P = 1^-$ and $ 2^+$, which are possible quantum numbers of the newly observed charmonium-like resonance $Z_c(4025)$, have masses of $m_{1^-}^c = (4.54 \pm 0.20) \, \text{GeV}$ and $m_{2^+}^c = (4.04 \pm 0.19) \, \text{GeV}$. The contributions up to dimension eight in the Operator Product Expansion (OPE) were taken into account in the calculation. The tetraquark mass of $J^{P} = 2^{+}$ state was consistent with the experimental data of $Z_c(4025)$, suggesting the $Z_c(4025)$ state …
We investigate spin effects in four-quark systems consisting of two heavy anti-bottom quarks and two light up/down quarks. To this end we use the Born-Oppenheimer approximation. We utilize potentials of two static antiquarks in the presence of two quarks of finite mass computed via lattice QCD and solve a coupled-channel Schrödinger equation for the anti-bottom-anti-bottom separation. Without taking heavy quark spins into account this approach predicted a $u d \bar b \bar b$ tetraquark bound state with quantum numbers $I(J^P) = 0(1^+)$. We now extend this Born-Oppenheimer approach with coupled…
We examine the interpretation of the light scalar meson nonet as tetraquark states using QCD sum rules. With the interpolating current for the tetraquark states composed of scalar diquark and scalar antidiquark, first, we construct the QCD sum rules by means of the operator product expansion up to the operators of dimension 8 and show that there is no evidence of the coupling of the tetraquark states to the light scalar meson nonet. In order to have a stable sum rule, we propose a "good" interpolating current for the tetraquarks based on chirality arguments which includes scalar and pseudoscal…
We investigate heavy-light four-quark systems $ud\bar b \bar b$ with bottom quarks of finite mass which are treated in the framework of NRQCD. We focus on $I(J^P)=0(1^+)$, where we recently found evidence for the existence of a tetraquark state using static bottom quarks. Furthermore, we report on an investigation of the $u \bar d b \bar b$ four-quark system with quantum numbers $I(J^P)=1(1^+)$ again using static bottom quarks.
I report on a lattice computation of the energy of a system of two light quarks and two static antiquarks as a function of the separation of the static antiquarks. In terms of hadrons such a system corresponds to a pair of B mesons and its energy to the hadronic potential. I present selected results for different isospin, spin and parity combinations of the individual B mesons mainly focusing on those channels relevant to determine, whether two B mesons may form a bound tetraquark state.
The QCD quark cyclobutadiene (ring-like), a new color structure of tetraquark system, is proposed and studied in the flux tube model with multi-body confinement potential. The QCD quark cyclobutadiene and other flux tube structures of tetraquark states have similar energies and they can be regarded as QCD isomeric compounds. The light tetraquark spectra ($u, d, s$ only) with ring-like and diquark-antidiquark structures are calculated in the flux tube model. The results show that many experimental states have the masses close to the calculated values if they are taken as tetraquark states. The …
The possible exotic meson $Z_{c}(3900)$, found in $e^+ e^-$ reactions, is studied by the method of coupled-channel scattering in lattice QCD. The interaction among $πJ/ψ$, $ρη_{c}$ and $\bar{D}D^{*}$ channels is derived from (2+1)-flavor QCD simulations at $m_π=410$-$700$ MeV. The interaction is dominated by the off-diagonal $πJ/ψ$-$\bar{D}D^{*}$ and $ρη_{c}$-$\bar{D}D^{*}$ couplings, which indicates that the $Z_{c}(3900)$ is not a usual resonance but a threshold cusp. Semi-phenomenological analyses with the coupled-channel interaction are presented to confirm this conclusion.
We study the lowest-lying scalar mesons in the QCD sum rule by considering them as tetraquark states. We find that there are five independent currents for each state with a certain flavor structure. By forming linear combinations, we find that some mixed currents give reliable QCD sum rules. Among various tetraquark currents, we consider those which are constructed by the diquarks having anti-symmetric and symmetric flavor structures. That the results of the QCD sum rule derived from the two types of currents are similar suggests that the tetraquark states can have a large mixing between diffe…
Multiquark correlations inside hadrons can have a significant and in some cases even striking impact on the hadron spectrum. We show how such correlations in general, and mesons with a dominant tetraquark content in particular, emerge holographically in the AdS/QCD framework. On this basis, we arrive at a holographic realization of an exceptionally strong four-quark binding and a correspondingly large tetraquark component in the lightest scalar mesons. Higher-lying tetraquark excitations, on the other hand, become too broad to form supernumeral scalar states.
According to a recent proposal of the tetraquark mixing framework, the two light-meson nonets in the $J^{P}=0^{+}$ channel, namely the light nonet composed of $a_0 (980)$, $K_0^* (800)$, $f_0 (500)$, $f_0(980)$, and the heavy nonet of $a_0 (1450)$, $K_0^* (1430)$, $f_0 (1370)$, $f_0 (1500)$, can be expressed by linear combinations of the two tetraquark types, one type containing the spin-0 diquark and the other with the spin-1 diquark. Among various consequences of this mixing model, one surprising result is that the second tetraquark with the spin-1 diquark configuration is more important for…
We study tetraquark resonances with lattice QCD potentials computed for a static bbar bbar pair in the presence of two lighter quarks u d, the Born-Oppenheimer approximation and the emergent wave method. As a proof of concept we focus on the system with isospin I = 0, but consider different relative angular momenta l of the heavy quarks bbar bbar. For l=0 a bound state has already been predicted with quantum numbers I(JP) = 0(1+). Exploring various angular momenta we now compute the phase shifts and search for S and T matrix poles in the second Riemann sheet. We predict a tetraquark resonance …
We have studied the mass spectra of the hidden-charm/bottom $qc\bar q\bar c$, $sc\bar s\bar c$ and $qb\bar q\bar b$, $sb\bar s\bar b$ tetraquark states with $J^{PC}=0^{++}$ and $2^{++}$ in the framework of QCD sum rules. We construct ten scalar and four tensor interpolating currents in a systematic way and calculate the mass spectra for these tetraquark states. The $X^\ast(3860)$ may be either an isoscalar tetraquark state or $χ_{c0}(2P)$. If the $X^\ast(3860)$ is a tetraquark candidate, our results prefer the $0^{++}$ option over the $2^{++}$ one. The $X(4160)$ may be classified as either the…
In this article, we extend our previous work to study the mass spectrum of the ground state hidden-bottom tetraquark states with the QCD sum rules in a systematic way. The predicted hidden-bottom tetraquark masses can be confronted to the experimental data in the future to diagnose the nature of the $Z_b$ states. In calculations, we observe that the scalar diquark states, the axialvector diquark states and the axialvector components of the tensor diquark state are all good diquarks in building the lowest tetraquark states.
We present first results of a recently started lattice QCD investigation of antiheavy-antiheavy-light-light tetraquark systems including scattering interpolating operators in correlation functions both at the source and at the sink. In particular, we discuss the importance of such scattering interpolating operators for a precise computation of the low-lying energy levels. We focus on the $\bar b \bar b u d$ four-quark system with quantum numbers $I(J^P) = 0(1^+)$, which has a ground state below the lowest meson-meson threshold. We carry out a scattering analysis using Lüscher's method to extra…
In this article, we take the pseudoscalar, scalar, axialvector, vector, tensor (anti)diquark operators as the basic constituents, and construct the scalar, axialvector and tensor tetraquark currents to study the mass spectrum of the ground state hidden-charm tetraquark states with the QCD sum rules in a comprehensive way. We revisit the assignments of the $X$, $Y$, $Z$ states, such as the $X(3860)$, $X(3872)$, $X(3915)$, $X(3940)$, $X(4160)$, $Z_c(3900)$, $Z_c(4020)$, $Z_c(4050)$, $Z_c(4055)$, $Z_c(4100)$, $Z_c(4200)$, $Z_c(4250)$, $Z_c(4430)$, $Z_c(4600)$, etc in the scenario of tetraquark st…
In this article, we study the axial-vector mesons $Z_b(10610)$ and $Z_b(10650)$ with the $Cγ_μ-Cγ_5$ type and $Cγ_μ-Cγ_ν$ type interpolating currents respectively by carrying out the operator product expansion to the vacuum condensates up to dimension-10. In calculations, we explore the energy scale dependence of the QCD spectral densities of the hidden bottom tetraquark states in details for the first time, and suggest a formula $μ=\sqrt{M^2_{X/Y/Z}-(2{\mathbb{M}}_b)^2}$ with the effective mass ${\mathbb{M}}_b=5.13\,\rm{GeV}$ to determine the energy scales. The numerical results favor assigni…
The properties of possibly existing tetraquarks are studied in the large-$N_{\mathrm{c}}^{}$ limit of QCD by means of four-point correlation functions of meson currents. The necessity of a detailed analysis of the singularities of Feynman diagrams, by means of the Landau equations, to recognize those diagrams that might contribute to the formation of tetraquark states, is emphasized. It is found, in general, that tetraquarks, if they exist, should have narrow widths of the order of $N_{\mathrm{c}}^{-2}$.
In this article, we take the scalar diquarks as point particles and describe them as basic quantum fields, then introduce the SU(3) color gauge interaction and new vacuum condensates to study the nonet scalar mesons as tetraquark states with the QCD sum rules. Comparing with the conventional quark currents, the diquark currents have the outstanding advantage to satisfy the two criteria of the QCD sum rules more easily.
In this article, we study the axialvector-diquark-axialvector-antidiquark ($AA$) type and scalar-diquark-scalar-antidiquark ($SS$) type fully open flavor $cs\bar{u}\bar{d}$ tetraquark states with the spin-parity $J^P={0}^+$ via the QCD sum rules. The predicted masses $M_{AA}=2.91\pm0.12\,\rm{GeV}$ and $M_{SS}=3.05\pm0.10\,\rm{GeV}$ support assigning the $X_0(2900)$ to be the $AA$-type scalar $cs\bar{u}\bar{d}$ tetraquark state.
We consider quark-hadron duality relations and QCD sum rules for correlators involving exotic tetraquark currents, here specializing to the case of quark-exchange processes. We point out the differences they exhibit with respect to the cases involving ordinary bilinear quark currents. Based on the observation that only diagrams possessing at least four-quark singularities can contribute to the formation of tetraquark states, we show that the quark-hadron duality relations and the corresponding sum rules split into two non-overlapping relations. The ultimate tetraquark-adequate QCD sum rule is …
In this letter, we take the point of view that the X(1576) be tetraquark state which consists of a scalar-diquark and an anti-scalar-diquark in relative $P$-wave, and calculate its mass in the framework of the QCD sum rules approach. The numerical value of the mass $m_X=(1.66\pm 0.14) GeV$ is consistent with the experimental data, there may be some tetraquark component in the vector meson X(1576).
Based on the diquark configuration, we construct the diquark-antidiquark interpolating tetraquark currents with $J^{PC}=1^{-\pm}$ and $1^{+\pm}$, which can couple to the scalar and pseudoscalar tetraquark states respectively, since they are not conserved currents. Then we investigate their two-point correlation functions including the contributions of the vacuum condensates up to dimension-10 and extract the masses and pole residues of the tetraquark states with $J^{PC}=0^{+\pm}$ and $0^{-\pm}$ through the QCD sum rule approach. The predicted masses can be confronted with the experimental data…
In this article, we study the masses and pole residues of the pseudoscalar-diquark-pseudoscalar-antidiquark type and vector-diquark-vector-antidiquark type scalar hidden-charm $cu\bar{c}\bar{d}$ ($cu\bar{c}\bar{s}$) tetraquark states with QCD sum rules by taking into account the contributions of the vacuum condensates up to dimension-10 in the operator product expansion. The predicted masses can be confronted with the experimental data in the future. Possible decays of those tetraquark states are also discussed.
In this article, we construct the diquark-antidiquark type current operators to study the axialvector $B_c$-like tetraquark states with the QCD sum rules. In calculations, we take the energy scale formula as a powerful constraint to choose the ideal energy scales of the QCD spectral densities and add detailed discussions to illustrate why we take the energy scale formula to improve the QCD sum rules for the doubly heavy tetraquark states. The predicted masses $M_{Z_{\bar{b}c}(1^{+-})}=7.30\pm0.08\,\rm{GeV}$ and $M_{Z_{\bar{b}c}(1^{++})}=7.31\pm0.08\,\rm{GeV}$ lie between the conventional $2\rm…
It is shown that the large $N_c$ limit of QCD with quarks in the two-index antisymmetric color representation [QCD(AS)] has narrow tetraquark states with exotic flavor quantum numbers. They decay into mesons with a width that is parametrically $O(1/N_c^2)$. Tetraquarks with non-exotic quantum numbers mix at leading order with mesons of the same overall quantum numbers. QCD(AS) at $N_c=3$ corresponds to ordinary QCD; its large $N_c$ limit represents an alternative starting point for a $1/N_c$ expansion to the standard one with quarks in the fundamental color representation.
Using a soft-wall AdS/QCD approach we derive the Schrödinger-type equation of motion for the tetraquark wave function, which is dual to the dimension-4 AdS bulk profile. The latter coincides with the number of constituents in the leading Fock state of the tetraquark. The obtained equation of motion is solved analytically, providing predictions for both the tetraquark wave function and its mass. A low mass limit for possible tetraquark states is given by $M \ge 2 κ= 1$ GeV, where $κ= 0.5$ GeV is the typical value of the scale parameter in soft-wall AdS/QCD. We confirm results of the COMPASS Col…
There are generally two types of Wick contractions in lattice QCD calculations of a correlation function --- connected and disconnected ones. The disconnected contribution is difficult to calculate and noisy, thus it is often neglected. In the context of studying tetraquarks, hadronic molecules and meson-meson scattering, we show that whenever there are both connected and singly disconnected contractions, the singly disconnected part gives the leading order contribution, and thus should never be neglected. As an explicit example, we show that information about the scalar mesons sigma, f0(980),…
In this work, we re-investigate the mass spectrum of the ground state, first, second and third radial excited states of the diquark-antidiquark type fully-charm tetraquark states with the QCD sum rules plus Regge trajectories. We take account of the CMS and ATLAS experimental data and preform a self-consistent analysis, then try to make possible assignments of the $X(6600)$, $X(6900)$ and $X(7300)$ in the picture of tetraquark states with the $J^{PC}=0^{++}$ or $1^{+-}$.
In this article, we take the point of view that the charmed scalar meson $D_{s0}(2317)$ be a tetraquark state and devote to calculate its mass within the framework of the QCD sum rules approach in the heavy quark limit. The numerical values for the mass of the $D_{s0}(2317)$ are consistent with the experimental data, there must be some tetraquark component in the scalar meson $D_{s0}(2317)$. Detailed discussions about the threshold parameter and Borel parameter for the multiquark states are also presented.
