We consider a skew-symmetric $n$-ary bracket on the polynomial algebra $K[x_1,\ldots,x_n,x_{n+1}]$ ($n\geq 2$) over a field $K$ of characteristic zero defined by $\{a_1,\ldots,a_n\}=J(a_1,\ldots,a_n,C)$, where $C$ is a fixed element of $K[x_1,\ldots,x_n,x_{n+1}]$ and $J$ is the Jacobian. If $n=2$ then this bracket is a Poisson bracket and if $n\geq 3$ then it is an $n$-Lie-Poisson bracket on $K[x_1,\ldots,x_n,x_{n+1}]$. We describe the center of the corresponding $n$-Lie-Poisson algebra and show that the quotient algebra $K[x_1,\ldots,x_n,x_{n+1}]/(C-λ)$, where $(C-λ)$ is the ideal generated by $C-λ$, $0\neq λ\in K$, is a simple central $n$-Lie-Poisson algebra if $C$ is a homogeneous polynomial that is not a proper power of any nonzero polynomial. This construction includes the quotients $P(\mathrm{sl}_2(K))/(C-λ)$ of the Poisson enveloping algebra $P(\mathrm{sl}_2(K))$ of the simple Lie algebra $\mathrm{sl}_2(K)$, where $C$ is the standard Casimir element of $\mathrm{sl}_2(K)$ in $P(\mathrm{sl}_2(K))$. It is also proven that the quotients $P(\mathbb{M})/(C-λ)$ of the Poisson enveloping algebra $P(\mathbb{M})$ of the exceptional simple seven dimensional Malcev algebra $\mathbb{M}$ are central simple.
We prove that the Poisson version of the Dixmier-Moeglin equivalence holds for cocommutative affine Poisson-Hopf algebras. This is a first step towards understanding the symplectic foliation and the representation theory of (cocommutative) affine Poisson-Hopf algebras. Our proof makes substantial use of the model theory of fields equipped with finitely many possibly noncommuting derivations. As an application, we show that the symmetric algebra of a finite dimensional Lie algebra, equipped with its natural Poisson structure, satisfies the Poisson Dixmier-Moeglin equivalence.
In this paper, we provide some topological criteria for the Poisson Dixmier-Moeglin equivalence for $A$ in terms of the poset $({\rm P. spec A}, \subseteq)$ and the symplectic leaf or core stratification on its maximal spectrum. In particular, we prove that the Zariski topology of the Poisson prime spectrum and of each symplectic leaf or core can detect the Poisson Dixmier-Moeglin equivalence for any complex affine Poisson algebra. Moreover, we generalize the weaker version of the Poisson Dixmier-Moeglin equivalence for a complex affine Poisson algebra proved in [J. Bell, S. Launois, O.L. Sánc…
By the result of Dixmier, any weight space of enveloping algebra of Lie algebra L over a field of characteristic 0 is adL stable. In this paper we will show that this result need not be true, if F is replaced by a field of prime characteristic. A condition will be given, so a weight space will be adL stable.
Dixmier and Moeglin gave an algebraic condition and a topological condition for recognising the primitive ideals among the prime ideals of the universal enveloping algebra of a finite-dimensional complex Lie algebra; they showed that the primitive, rational, and locally closed ideals coincide. In modern terminology, they showed that the universal enveloping algebra of a finite-dimensional complex Lie algebra satisfies the Dixmier-Moeglin equivalence. We define quantities which measure how "close" an arbitrary prime ideal of a noetherian algebra is to being primitive, rational, and locally clos…
It is proved that the Poisson enveloping algebra of a double Poisson-Ore extension is an iterated double Ore extension. As an application, properties that are preserved under iterated double Ore extensions are invariants of the Poisson enveloping algebra of a double Poisson-Ore extension.
In this paper, we define and study the universal enveloping algebra of a Poisson superalgebra. In particular, a new PBW Theorem for Lie-Rinehart superalgebras is proved leading to a PBW Theorem for Poisson superalgebras, we show the universal enveloping algebra of a Poisson Hopf superalgebra (resp. Poisson-Ore extension) is a Hopf superalgebra (resp. iterated Ore extension), and we study the universal enveloping algebra for interesting classes of Poisson superalgebras such as Poisson symplectic superalgebras.
We prove that the universal enveloping algebra of a Poisson-Ore extension is a length two iterated Ore extension of the original universal enveloping algebra. As consequences, we observe certain ring-theoretic invariants of the universal enveloping algebras that are preserved under iterated Poisson-Ore extensions. We apply our results to iterated quadratic Poisson algebras arising from semiclassical limits of quantized coordinate rings and a family of graded Poisson algebras of Poisson structures of rank at most two.
Thanks to recent results on ring homomorphisms of Azumaya algebras and to the following ones about endomorphisms of canonical Poisson algebras and Dirac quantum algebras, and about the reformulation in positive characteristic of these conjectures in characteristic zero, we prove the equivalence of these three conjectures in any characteristic, giving also by this way a new proof of the equivalence of the complex version of the two first conjectures recently proved by Y. Tsuchimoto.
In this paper, the so-called differential graded (DG for short) Poisson Hopf algebra is introduced, which can be considered as a natural extension of Poisson Hopf algebras in the differential graded setting. The structures on the universal enveloping algebras of differential graded Poisson Hopf algebras are discussed.
Let $P(\mathrm{sl}_2(K))$ be the Poisson enveloping algebra of the Lie algebra $\mathrm{sl}_2(K)$ over an algebraically closed field $K$ of characteristic zero. The quotient algebras $ $ $P(\mathrm{sl}_2(K))/(C_P-λ)$, where $C_P$ is the standard Casimir element of $\mathrm{sl}_2(K)$ in $P(\mathrm{sl}_2(K))$ and $0\neq λ\in K$, are proven to be simple in \cite{UZh}. Using a result by L. Makar-Limanov \cite{ML90}, we describe generators of the automorphism group of $P(\mathrm{sl}_2(K))/(C_P-λ)$ and represent this group as an amalgamated product of its subgroups. Moreover, using similar results b…
For a Poisson algebra $A$, by exploring its relation with Lie-Rinehart algebras, we prove a Poincaré-Birkoff-Witt theorem for its universal enveloping algebra $A^e$. Some general properties of the universal enveloping algebras of Poisson Hopf algebras are studied. Given a Poisson Hopf algebra $B$, we give the necessary and sufficient conditions for a Poisson polynomial algebra $B[x; α, δ]_p$ to be a Poisson Hopf algebra. We also prove a structure theorem for $B^e$ when $B$ is a pointed Poisson Hopf algebra. Namely, $B^e$ is isomorphic to $B#_σ\mathcal{H}(B)$, the crossed product of $B$ and $\m…
In this paper, we introduce the notions of differential graded (DG) Poisson algebra and DG Poisson module. Let $A$ be any DG Poisson algebra. We construct the universal enveloping algebra of $A$ explicitly, which is denoted by $A^{ue}$. We show that $A^{ue}$ has a natural DG algebra structure and it satisfies certain universal property. As a consequence of the universal property, it is proved that the category of DG Poisson modules over $A$ is isomorphic to the category of DG modules over $A^{ue}$. Furthermore, we prove that the notion of universal enveloping algebra $A^{ue}$ is well-behaved u…
For any differential graded (DG for short) Poisson algebra $A$ given by generators and relations, we give a "formula" for computing the universal enveloping algebra $A^e$ of $A$. Moreover, we prove that $A^e$ has a Poincaré-Birkhoff-Witt basis provided that $A$ is a graded commutative polynomial algebra. As an application of the PBW-basis, we show that a DG symplectic ideal of a DG Poisson algebra $A$ is the annihilator of a simple DG Poisson $A$-module, where $A$ is the DG Poisson homomorphic image of a DG Poisson algebra $R$ whose underlying algebra structure is a graded commutative polynomi…
For a generalized Weyl Poisson algebra $A$, explicit sets of generators and defining relations are presented for its Poisson enveloping algebra $\CU (A)$. Simplicity criteria are given for the algebra $\CU (A)$ and algebra of Poisson differential operators $P\CD (A)$ on $A$. The Gelfand-Kirillov dimensions of the algebras $\CU (A)$ and $P\CD (A)$ are calculated. It is proven that the algebra $\CU (A)$ is a domain provided that the coefficient ring $D$ of the generalized Weyl Poisson algebra $A$ is a domain of essentially finite type over a perfect field. For the algebra $A$, the set of its min…
Poisson algebras are, just like Lie algebras, particular cases of Lie-Rinehart algebras. The latter were introduced by Rinehart in his seminal 1963 paper, where he also introduces the notion of an enveloping algebra and proves --- under some mild conditions --- that the enveloping algebra of a Lie-Rinehart algebra satisfies a Poincaré-Birkhoff-Witt theorem (PBW theorem). In the case of a Poisson algebra $({\mathcal A},\cdot,\{\cdot,\cdot\})$ over a commutative ring $R$ (with unit), Rinehart's result boils down to the statement that if $\mathcal A$ is \emph{smooth} (as an algebra), then gr$(U({…
In this paper, we introduce the notion of differential graded Poisson algebra and study its universal enveloping algebra. From any differential graded Poisson algebra $A$, we construct two isomorphic differential graded algebras: $A^e$ and $A^E$. It is proved that the category of differential graded Poisson modules over $A$ is isomorphic to the category of differential graded modules over $A^e$, and $A^e$ is the unique universal enveloping algebra of $A$ up to isomorphisms. As applications of the universal property of $A^e$, we prove that $(A^e)^{op}\cong (A^{op})^e$ and $(A\otimes_{\Bbbk}B)^e…
The structure of Poisson polynomial algebras of the type obtained as semiclassical limits of quantized coordinate rings is investigated. Sufficient conditions for a rational Poisson action of a torus on such an algebra to leave only finitely many Poisson prime ideals invariant are obtained. Combined with previous work of the first-named author, this establishes the Poisson Dixmier-Moeglin equivalence for large classes of Poisson polynomial rings, such as semiclassical limits of quantum matrices, quantum symplectic and euclidean spaces, quantum symmetric and antisymmetric matrices. For a simila…
This is a short survey of works on identical relations in group rings, enveloping algebras, Poisson symmetric algebras and other related algebraic structures. First, the classical work of Passman specified group rings that satisfy nontrivial identical relations. This result was an origin and motivation of close research projects. Second, Latyshev and Bahturin determined Lie algebras such that their universal enveloping algebra satisfies a non-trivial identical relation. Next, Passman and Petrogradsky solved a similar problem in case of restricted enveloping algebras. Third, Farkas started to s…
A significant class of Poisson brackets on the polynomial algebra $\C[x_1,x_2,..., x_n]$ is studied and, for this class of Poisson brackets, the Poisson prime ideals and Poisson primitive ideals are determined. Moreover it is established that these Poisson algebras satisfy the Poisson Dixmier-Moeglin equivalence.
We introduce the quasi-Poisson enveloping algebra and Poisson enveloping algebra for a non-commutative Poisson algebra. We prove that for a non-commutative Poisson algebra, the category of quasi-Poisson modules is equivalent to the category of left modules over its quasi-Poisson enveloping algebra, and the category of Poisson modules is equivalent to the category of left modules over its Poisson enveloping algebra.
For an arbitrary Poisson algebra $\CP$ over an arbitrary field, an (analogue of) the Poincaré-Birkhof-Witt Theorem is proven and several presentations/constructions for its Poisson enveloping algebra $\CU (\CP )$ are given. As a result, explicit sets of generators and defining relations are given for $\CU (\CP )$ and the algebra $P\CD (\CP)$ of Poisson differential operators on $\CP$. Simplicity criteria for the algebras $\CU (\CP )$ and $P\CD (\CP )$ are given. In the case when the algebra $\CP$ is of essentially finite type, a criterion for the algebra $\CU (\CP )$ to be a domain is presente…
Lie conformal algebras are useful tools for studying vertex operator algebras and their representations. In this paper, we establish close relations between Poisson conformal algebras and representations of Lie conformal algebras. We also calculate explicitly Poisson conformal brackets on the associated graded conformal algebras of universal associative conformal envelopes of Virasoro conformal algebra and Neveu--Schwartz conformal superalgebra.
The Hopf dual $H^\circ$ of any Poisson Hopf algebra $H$ is proved to be a co-Poisson Hopf algebra provided $H$ is noetherian. Without noetherian assumption, it is not true in general. There is no nontrivial Poisson Hopf structure on the universal enveloping algebra of a non-abelian Lie algebra. The Poisson Hopf structures on $A=k[x_1, x_2, \cdots, x_d]$, viewed as the universal enveloping algebra of a finite-dimensional abelian Lie algebra, are exactly linear Poisson structures on $A$. The co-Poisson structures on polynomial Hopf algebra $A$ are characterized. Some correspondences between co-P…
If $\mathfrak{g}$ is a Lie algebra then the semi-centre of the Poisson algebra $S(\mathfrak{g})$ is the subalgebra generated by ad$(\mathfrak{g})$-eigenvectors. In this paper we abstract this definition to the context of integral Poisson algebras. We identify necessary and sufficient conditions for the Poisson semi-centre $A^{\operatorname{sc}}$ to be a Poisson algebra graded by its weight spaces. In that situation we show the Poisson semi-centre exhibits many nice properties: the rational Casimirs are quotients of Poisson normal elements and the Poisson Dixmier-Mœglin equivalence holds for th…
Let $k$ be an arbitrary field of characteristic $0$. It is shown that for any $n\geq 1$ the universal enveloping algebras of the Poisson symplectic algebra $P_n(k)$ and the Weyl algebra $A_n(k)$ are isomorphic and the canonical isomorphism between them easily leads to the Moyal product. A basis of the universal enveloping algebra $P^e$ of a free Poisson algebra $P=k\{x_1,...,x_n\}$ is constructed and proved that the left dependency of a finite number of elements of $P^e$ over $P^e$ is algorithmically recognizable. We prove that if two elements of a free Poisson algebra do not generate a free t…
Brown and Gordon asked whether the Poisson Dixmier-Moeglin equivalence holds for any complex affine Poisson algebra; that is, whether the sets of Poisson rational ideals, Poisson primitive ideals, and Poisson locally closed ideals coincide. In this article a complete answer is given to this question using techniques from differential-algebraic geometry and model theory. In particular, it is shown that while the sets of Poisson rational and Poisson primitive ideals do coincide, in every Krull dimension at least four there are complex affine Poisson algebras with Poisson rational ideals that are…
A Poisson algebra $\Bbb C[G]$ considered as a Poisson version of the twisted quantized coordinate ring $\Bbb C_{q,p}[G]$, constructed by Hodges, Levasseur and Toro in \cite{HoLeT}, is obtained and its Poisson structure is investigated. This establishes that all Poisson prime and primitive ideals of $\Bbb C[G]$ are characterized. Further it is shown that $\Bbb C[G]$ satisfies the Poisson Dixmier-Moeglin equivalence and that Zariski topology on the space of Poisson primitive ideals of $\Bbb C[G]$ agrees with the quotient topology induced by the natural surjection from the maximal ideal space of …
For a Poisson algebra $A$, by studying its universal enveloping algebra $A^{pe}$, we prove a duality theorem between Poisson homology and cohomology of $A$.
This paper discusses the notion of a deformation quantization for an arbitrary polynomial Poisson algebra A. We examine the Hochschild cohomology group H^3(A) and find that if a deformation of A exists it can be given by bidifferential operators. We then compute an explicit third order deformation quantization of A and show that it comes from a quantized enveloping algebra. We show that the deformation extends to a fourth order deformation if and only if the quantized enveloping algebra gives a fourth order deformation; moreover we give an example where the deformation does not extend. A corre…
We describe the centers of the universal enveloping algebras of nilpotent Lie algebras of dimension at most six over fields of prime characteristic. If the characteristic is not smaller than the nilpontency class, then the center is the integral closure of the algebra generated over the $p$-center by the same generators that also occur in characteristic zero. Except for three examples (two of which are standard filiform), this algebra is already integrally closed and hence it coincides with the center. In the case of these three exceptional algebras, the center has further generators. Then we …
Let $W_+$ be the positive Witt algebra, which has a $C$-basis $\{e_n: n \in Z_{\geq 1}\}$, with Lie bracket $[ e_i, e_j] = (j-i) e_{i+j}$. We study the two-sided ideal structure of the universal enveloping algebra $U(W_+)$ of $W_+$. We show that if $I$ is a (two-sided) ideal of $U(W_+)$ generated by quadratic expressions in the $e_i$, then $U(W_+)/I$ has finite Gelfand-Kirillov dimension, and that such ideals satisfy the ascending chain condition. We conjecture that analogous facts hold for arbitrary ideals of $U(W_+)$, and verify a version of these conjectures for radical Poisson ideals of th…
In this paper, we show that the twisted Poincaré duality between Poisson homology and cohomology can be derived from the Serre invertible bimodule. This gives another definition of a unimodular Poisson algebra in terms of its Poisson Picard group. We also achieve twisted Poincaré duality for Hochschild (co)homology of Poisson bimodules using rigid dualizing complex. For a smooth Poisson affine variety with the trivial canonical bundle, we prove that its enveloping algebra is a Calabi-Yau algebra if the Poisson structure is unimodular.
A polynomial endomorphism $σ\in {\rm End}_K(P_n)$ is called a Jacobian map if its Jacobian is a nonzero scalar (the field has zero characteristic). Each Jacobian map $σ$ is extended to an endomorphism $σ$ of the Weyl algebra $A_n$. The Jacobian Conjecture (JC) says that every Jacobian map is an automorphism. Clearly, the Jacobian Conjecture is true iff the twisted (by $σ$) $P_n$-module ${}^σ P_n$ is 1-generated for all Jacobian maps $σ$. It is shown that the $A_n$-module ${}^σ P_n$ is 1-generated for all Jacobian maps $σ$. Furthermore, the $A_n$-module ${}^σ P_n$ is holonomic and as a result h…
In 1997, X. Xu \cite{Xiaoping Xu Poisson} invented a concept of Novikov-Poisson algebras (we call them Gelfand-Dorfman-Novikov-Poisson (GDN-Poisson) algebras). We construct a linear basis of a free GDN-Poisson algebra. We define a notion of a special GDN-Poisson admissible algebra, based on X. Xu's definition and an S.I. Gelfand's observation (see \cite{Gelfand}). It is a differential algebra with two commutative associative products and some extra identities. We prove that any GDN-Poisson algebra is embeddable into its universal enveloping special GDN-Poisson admissible algebra. Also we prove…
A natural family of quantized matrix algebras is introduced. It includes the two best studied such. Located inside ${\s U}_q(A_{2n-1})$, it consists of quadratic algebras with the same Hilbert series as polynomials in $n^2$ variables. We discuss their general properties and investigate some members of the family in great detail with respect to associated varieties, degrees, centers, and symplectic leaves. Finally, the space of rank r matrices becomes a Poisson submanifold, and there is an associated tensor category of $\rank\leq r$ matrices.
We study general properties of Hodge-type decompositions of cyclic and Hochschild homology of universal enveloping algebras of (DG) Lie algebras. Our construction generalizes the operadic construction of cyclic homology of Lie algebras due to Getzler and Kapranov. We give a topological interpretation of such Lie Hodge decompositions in terms of $S^1$-equivariant homology of the free loop space of a simply connected topological space. We prove that the canonical derived Poisson structure on a universal enveloping algebra arising from a cyclic pairing on the Koszul dual coalgebra preserves the H…
Let (S,L) be a Lie-Rinehart algebra over a commutative ring R. This article proves that, if S is flat as an R-module and has Van den Bergh duality in dimension n, and if L is finitely generated and projective with constant rank d as an S-module, then the enveloping algebra of (S,L) has Van den Bergh duality in dimension n+d. When, moreover, S is Calabi-Yau and the d-th exterior power of L is free over S, the article proves that the enveloping algebra is skew-Calabi-Yau, and it describes a Nakayama automorphism of it. These considerations are specialised to Poisson enveloping algebras. They are…
In [5] Cauchon introduced the so-called deleting derivations algorithm. This algorithm was first used in noncommutative algebra to prove catenarity in generic quantum matrices, and then to show that torus-invariant primes in these algebras are generated by quantum minors. Since then this algorithm has been used in various contexts. In particular, the matrix version makes a bridge between torus-invariant primes in generic quantum matrices, torus-orbits of symplectic leaves in matrix Poisson varieties and totally nonnegative cells in totally nonnegative matrix varieties [12]. This led to recent …
We study (two-sided) ideals $I$ in the enveloping algebra $\U(\frak g_\infty)$ of an infinite-dimensional Lie algebra $\frak g_\infty$ obtained as the union (equivalently, direct limit) of an arbitrary chain of embeddings of simple finite-dimensional Lie algebras $\frak g_1\to\frak g_2\to...\to\frak g_n\to...$ with $\lim\limits_{n\to\infty}\dim\frak g_n=\infty$. Our main result is an explicit description of the zero-sets of the corresponding graded ideals $\gr I$. We use this description and results of A. Zhilinskii to prove Baranov's conjecture that, if $\frak g_\infty$ is not diagonal in the…
A skew Laurent polynomial ring R[x^{\pm 1};α] is reversible if it has a reversing automorphism, that is, an automorphism of period two that transposes x and x^{-1} and restricts to an automorphism of R. We study invariants for reversing automorphisms and apply our methods to determine the rings of invariants of reversing automorphisms of two simple skew Laurent polynomial rings, namely a localization of the enveloping algebra of the two-dimensional non-abelian solvable Lie algebra and the coordinate ring of the quantum torus. These two skew Laurent polynomial rings are deformations of Poisson …
We introduce a new class of algebras called Poisson orders. This class includes the symplectic reflection algebras of Etingof and Ginzburg, many quantum groups at roots of unity, and enveloping algebras of restricted Lie algebras in positive characteristic. Quite generally, we study this class of algebras from the point of view of Poisson geometry, exhibiting connections between their representation theory and some well-known geometric constructions. As an application, we employ our results in the study of symplectic reflection algebras, completing work of Etingof and Ginzburg on when these al…
Let $\mf g$ be the Witt algebra or the positive Witt algebra. It is well known that the enveloping algebra $U(\mf g )$ has intermediate growth and thus infinite Gelfand-Kirillov (GK-) dimension. We prove that the GK-dimension of $U(\mf g)$ is {\em just infinite} in the sense that any proper quotient of $U(\mf g)$ has polynomial growth. This proves a conjecture of Petukhov and the second named author for the positive Witt algebra. We also establish the corresponding results for quotients of the symmetric algebra $S(\mf g)$ by proper Poisson ideals. In fact, we prove more generally that any cent…
A version of Kirillov's orbit method states that the primitive spectrum of a generic quantisation $A$ of a Poisson algebra $Z$ should correspond bijectively to the symplectic leaves of $\operatorname{Spec}(Z)$. In this article we consider a Poisson order $A$ over a complex affine Poisson algebra $Z$. We stratify the primitive spectrum $\operatorname{Prim}(A)$ into symplectic cores, which should be thought of as families of non-commutative symplectic leaves. We then introduce a category $A$-$\mathcal{P}$-Mod of $A$-modules adapted to the Poisson structure on $Z$, and we show that when $\operato…
We give functorial recipes to get, out of any Hopf algebra over a field, two pairs of Hopf algebras which have some geometrical content. When the ground field has characteristic zero, the first pair is made by a function algebra over a connected Poisson group and a universal enveloping algebra over a Lie bialgebra. In addition, the Poisson group as a variety is an affine space, and the Lie bialgebra as a Lie algebra is graded. Forgetting these last details, the second pair is of the same type. When the Hopf algebra H we start from is already of geometric type the result involves Poisson dualit…
We prove a rigidity theorem for the Poisson automorphisms of the function fields of tori with quadratic Poisson structures over fields of characteristic 0. It gives an effective method for classifying the full Poisson automorphism groups of ${\mathbb{N}}$-graded connected cluster algebras equipped with Gekhtman-Shapiro-Vainshtein Poisson structures. Based on this, we classify the groups of algebraic Poisson automorphisms of the open Schubert cells of the full flag varieties of semisimple algebraic groups over fields of characteristic 0, equipped with the standard Poisson structures. Their coor…
The purpose of this paper is to study twistings of Poisson algebras or bialgebras, coPoisson algebras or bialgebras and star-products. We con- sider Hom-algebraic structures generalizing classical algebraic structures by twisting the identities by a linear self map. We summarize the results on Hom-Poisson algebras and introduce Hom-coPoisson algebras and bialge- bras. We show that there exists a duality between Hom-Poisson bialgebras and Hom-coPoisson bialgebras. A relationship between enveloping Hom- algebras endowed with Hom-coPoisson structures and corresponding Hom- Lie bialgebra structure…
The paper naturally continues series of works on identical relations of group rings, enveloping algebras, and other related algebraic structures. Let $L$ be a Lie algebra over a field of characteristic $p>0$. Consider its symmetric algebra $S(L)=\oplus_{n=0}^\infty U_n/U_{n-1}$, which is isomorphic to a polynomial ring. It also has a structure of a Poisson algebra, where the Lie product is traditionally denoted by $\{\ ,\ \}$. This bracket naturally induces the structure of a Poisson algebra on the ring $\mathbf{s}(L)=S(L)/(x^p\,|\, x\in L)$, which we call a truncated symmetric Poisson algebra…
We consider a Borel subalgebra $\fg$ of the general linear algebra and its subalgebra $\BB$ which is a Borel subalgebra of the special linear algebra, over arbitrary field. Let $\cL\in\{\fg, \BB\}$. We establish here explicit realizations of the center $Z(\cL)$ and semi-center $Sz(\cL)$ of the enveloping algebra, the Poisson center $S(\cL)^{\cL}$ and Poisson semi-center $S(\cL)^{\cL}_{\si}$ of the symmetric algebra. We describe their structure as commutative rings and establish isomorphisms $Z(\cL)\cong S(\cL)^{\cL}$, $Sz(\cL)\cong S(\cL)^{\cL}_{\si}$
We continue the study in Ben-Shimol [1],[2] and consider a Borel subalgebra $\mathfrak{b}$ and its nil radical $\mathfrak{n}$ of the simple Lie algebras of types $G_2$, $F_4$, $C_n$ over arbitrary field. Let $\mathcal{L}\in\{\mathfrak{n}, \mathfrak{b}\}$. We establish here explicit realizations of the center $Z(\mathcal{L})$ and semi-center $Sz(\mathcal{L})$ of the enveloping algebra, the Poisson center $S(\mathcal{L})^{\mathcal{L}}$ and Poisson semi-center $S(\mathcal{L})^{\mathcal{L}}_{\operatorname{si}}$ of the symmetric algebra. We describe their structure as commutative rings and establis…
Let g be a complex simple Lie algebra of type B_2 and q be a non-zero complex number which is not a root of unity. In the classical case, a theorem of Dixmier asserts that the simple factor algebras of the positive part U^+(g) of the enveloping algebra of g, whose Gelfand-Kirillov dimension is equal to 2, are isomorphic to the first Weyl algebra. In order to obtain some new quantized analogues of the first Weyl algebra, we explicitly describe the prime and primitive spectra of the positive part U_q^+(g) of the quantized enveloping algebra of g and then we study the simple factor algebras of U_…
