We study the problem of finding a function u verifying --$Δ$u = 0 in $Ω$ under the boundary condition $\partial$u $\partial$n + g(u) = $μ$ on $\partial$$Ω$ where $Ω$ $\subset$ R N is a smooth domain, n the normal unit outward vector to $Ω$, $μ$ is a measure on $\partial$$Ω$ and g a continuous nondecreasing function. We give sufficient condition on g for this problem to be solvable for any measure. When g(r) = |r| p--1 r, p > 1, we give conditions in order an isolated singularity on $\partial$$Ω$ be removable. We also give capacitary conditions on a measure $μ$ in order the problem with g(r) = |r| p--1 r to be solvable for some $μ$. We also study the isolated singularities of functions satisfying --$Δ$u = 0 in $Ω$ and $\partial$u $\partial$n + g(u) = 0 on $\partial$$Ω$ \ {0}.
In this paper, we investigate various properties (e.g., nonexistence, asymptotic behavior, uniqueness and integral representation formula) of positive solutions to nonlinear tri-harmonic equations in $\mathbb{R}^{n}$ ($n\geq2$) and bi-harmonic equations in $\mathbb{R}^{2}$ with negative exponents. Such kind of equations arise from conformal geometry.
We consider the Cauchy problem of a dissipative nonlinear Schrödinger equation with a time dependent harmonic potential. We find a critical situation that the $L^2$-norm of dissipative solutions decays or not and which is decided by a nonlinear power and time decay order of harmonic potential.
Time-decaying harmonic oscillators yield dispersive estimates with weak decay, and change the threshold power of the nonlinearity between the short and the long range. In the non-critical case for the time-decaying harmonic oscillator, this threshold can be characterized by polynomial nonlinearities. However, in the critical case, it is difficult to characterize the threshold using only polynomial terms, and thus we use logarithmic nonlinear terms.
We consider the final-state problem for the nonlinear Schrödinger equations (NLS) with a suitable time-decaying harmonic oscillator. In this equation, the power of nonlinearity $|u|^ρu $ is included in the long-range class if $0 < ρ\leq 2/(n(1- λ)) $ with $0 \leq λ<1/2$, which is determined by the harmonic potential and a coefficient of Laplacian. In this paper, we find the final state for this system and obtain the decay estimate for asymptotics.
In the current paper we consider an inverse boundary value problem of electromagnetism with nonlinear Second Harmonic Generation (SHG) process. We show the unique determination of the electromagnetic material parameters and the SHG susceptibility parameter of the medium by making electromagnetic measurements on the boundary. We are interested in the case when a frequency is fixed.
In the current paper we consider an inverse boundary value problem of electromagnetism in a nonlinear Kerr medium. We show the unique determination of the electromagnetic material parameters and the nonlinear susceptibility parameters of the medium by making electromagnetic measurements on the boundary. We are interested in the case of the time-harmonic Maxwell equations.

We study existence, uniqueness and boundary blow-up profile for fractional harmonic functions on a bounded smooth domain $Ω\subset \mathbb R^N$. We deal with harmonic functions associated to uniformly elliptic, fully nonlinear nonlocal operators, including the linear case $$ (-Δ)^s u = 0 \quad \mbox{in} \ Ω, $$ where $(-Δ)^s$ denotes the fractional Laplacian of order $2s \in (0,2)$. We use the viscosity solution's theory and Perron's method to construct harmonic functions with zero exterior condition in $\bar Ω^c$, and boundary blow-up profile $$ \lim_{x\to x_0, x \in Ω}\mathrm{dist}(x, \parti…
We consider Calderón's inverse boundary value problems for a class of nonlinear Helmholtz Schrödinger equations and Maxwell's equations in a bounded domain in $\R^n$. The main method is the higher-order linearization of the Dirichlet-to-Neumann map of the corresponding equations. The local uniqueness of the linearized partial data Calderón's inverse problem is obtained following \cite{DKSU}. The Runge approximation properties and unique continuation principle allow us to extend to global situations. Simultaneous recovery of some unknown cavity$/$boundary and coefficients are given as some appl…
