We present an approach to the computation of confluent systems of defining relations in associative conformal algebras based on the similar technique for modules over ordinary associative algebras.

The purpose of this paper is to study Rota-Baxter operators for BiHom-associative algebras. Moreover, we introduce and discuss the properties of the notions of BiHom-(tri)dendriform algebra, BiHom-Zinbiel algebra and BiHom-quadri-algebra. We discuss double Poisson structures in sense of M. Van den Bergh on free associative algebras focusing on the case of quadratic Poisson brackets. We establish their relations with an associative version of Young-Baxter equations, we study a bi-hamiltonian property of the linear-quadratic pencil of the double Poisson structure and propose a classification of the quadratic double Poisson brackets in the case of the algebra with two free generators. Many new examples of quadratic double Poisson brackets are proposed.

In this paper we show that non abelian extensions of an associative algebra $\mathcal{B}$ by an associative algebra $\mathcal{A}$ can be viewed as Maurer-Cartan elements of a suitable differential graded Lie algebra $L$. In particular we show that $\mathcal{MC}(L)$, the Deligne groupoid of $L$, is in 1-1 correspondence with the non-abelian cohomology $H^2_{nab}(\mathcal{B},\mathcal{A})$.

In this paper, we consider graded associative conformal algebras. The class of these objects includes pseudo-algebras over non-cocommutative Hopf algebras of regular functions on some linear algebraic groups. In particular, an associative conformal algebra which is graded by a finite group $Γ$ is a pseudo-algebra over the coordinate Hopf algebra of a linear algebraic group $G$ such that the identity component $G^0$ is the affine line and $G/G^0\simeq Γ$. We prove that simple finite-dimensional Lie double algebras do not exist over an arbitrary field, and all simple finite-dimensional associative double algebras over an algebraically closed field are trivial. The aim of this paper is to extend to Hom-algebra structures the theory of formal deformations of algebras which was introduced by Gerstenhaber for associative algebras and extended to Lie algebras by Nijenhuis-Richardson. We deal with Hom-associative and Hom-Lie algebras. We construct the first groups of a deformation cohomology and give several examples of deformations. We provide families of Hom-Lie algebras deforming Lie algebra $sl_2$ and describe as formal deformations the q-deformed Witt algebra and Jackson $sl_2$.
We give a quick method of constructing strong homotopy associative algebra, namely, the higher derived product construction. This method is associative analogue of classical higher derived bracket construction in the category of Loday algebras. We introduce a new type of algebra "Loday pair" which is noncommutative analogue of classical Leibniz pair. We study strong homotopy Loday pairs and the higher derived brackets on the Loday pairs.

In this note, we introduce a class of algebras that are in some sense related to conformal algebras. This class (called TC-algebras) includes Weyl algebras and some of their (associative and Lie) subalgebras. An interesting class of such multiplications is related to the affine Dynkin diagrams of A, D, E-type. In this paper we investigate in details the multiplications of the A-type and integrable matrix ODEs and PDEs generated by them.
