We obtain the explicit upper Bellman function for the natural dyadic maximal operator acting from ${\rm BMO}(\mathbb{R}^n)$ into ${\rm BLO}(\mathbb{R}^n).$ As a consequence, we show that the ${\rm BMO}\to{\rm BLO}$ norm of the natural operator equals 1 for all $n,$ and so does the norm of the classical dyadic maximal operator. The main result is a partial corollary of a theorem for the so-called $α$-trees, which generalize dyadic lattices. The Bellman function in this setting exhibits an interesting quasi-periodic structure depending on $α,$ but also allows a majorant independent of $α,$ hence the dimension-free norm constant. We also describe the decay of the norm with respect to the difference between the average of a function on a cube and the infimum of its maximal function on that cube. An explicit norm-optimizing sequence is constructed.
We address $L^p(μ)\rightarrow L^p(λ)$ bounds for paraproducts in the Bloom setting. We introduce certain "sparse BMO" functions associated with sparse collections with no infinitely increasing chains, and use these to express sparse operators as sums of paraproducts and martingale transforms -- essentially, as Haar multipliers -- as well as to obtain an equivalence of norms between sparse operators $\mathcal{A}_\mathcal{S}$ and compositions of paraproducts $Π^*_aΠ_b$.
Hardy-Littlewood maximal, generalized Bessel-Riesz and generalized fractional integral operators in generalized Morrey and $BMO_ϕ$ spaces associated with Dunkl operator on the real line
Ó. Blasco and S. Pott showed that the supremum of operator norms over $L^2$ of all bicommutators (with the same symbol) of one-parameter Haar multipliers dominates the biparameter dyadic product BMO norm of the symbol itself. In the present work we extend this result to the Bloom setting, and to any exponent $1<p<\infty$. The main tool is a new characterization in terms of paraproducts and two-weight John--Nirenberg inequalities for dyadic product BMO in the Bloom setting. We also extend our results to the whole scale of indexed spaces between little bmo and product BMO in the general multipar…
We study if the parabolic forward-in-time maximal operator is bounded on parabolic BMO. It turns out that for non-negative functions the answer is positive, but the behaviour of sign changing functions is more delicate. The class parabolic BMO and the forward-in-time maximal operator originate from the regularity theory of nonlinear parabolic partial differential equations. In addition to that context, we also study the question in dimension one.
It is well known that if Hardy-Littlewood maximal operator is bounded in space $L^{p(\cdot)}[0;1]$ then $1/p(\cdot)\in BMO^{1/\log}$. On the other hand if $p(\cdot)\in BMO^{1/\log},$ ($1<p_{-}\leq p_{+}<\infty$), then there exists $c>0$ such that Hardy-Littlewood maximal operator is bounded in $L^{p(\cdot)+c}[0;1].$ Also There exists exponent $p(\cdot)\in BMO^{1/\log},$ ($1<p_{-}\leq p_{+}<\infty$) such that Hardy-Littlewood maximal operator is not bounded in $L^{p(\cdot)}[0;1]$. In the present paper we construct exponent $p(\cdot),$ $(1<p_{-}\leq p_{+}<\infty)$, $1/p(\cdot)\in BLO^{1/\log}$ s…
Let $T$ be a bilinear Calderón-Zygmund singular integral operator and $T^*$ be its corresponding truncated maximal operator. For any $b\in\text{BMO}(\mathbb {R}^n)$ and $\vec{b}=(b_1,\ b_2)\in\text{BMO}(\mathbb {R}^n)\times\text {BMO}(\mathbb{R}^n)$, let $T^*_{b,j}$ (j=1,2), $T^*_{\vec{b}}\ $ be the commutators in the j-th entry and the iterated commutators of $T^*$, respectively. In this paper, for all $1<p_1,p_2<\infty$, $\frac{1}{p}=\frac{1}{p_1}+\frac{1}{p_2}$, we show that $T^*_{b,j}$ and $T^*_{\vec{b}}$ are compact operators from $L^{p_1}(w_1)\times L^{p_2}(w_2)$ to $L^p(v_{\vec{w}})$, i…
Let $0<α<n$ and $M_α$ be the fractional maximal function. The nonlinear commutator of $M_α$ and a locally integrable function $b$ is given by $[b,M_α](f)=bM_α(f)-M_α(bf)$. In this paper, we mainly give some necessary and sufficient conditions for the boundedness of $[b,M_α]$ on variable Lebesgue spaces when $b$ belongs to Lipschitz or $BMO(\rn)$ spaces, by which some new characterizations for certain subclasses of Lipschitz and $BMO(\rn)$ spaces are obtained.
In this paper, we improve a recent result by Li and Peng on products of functions in $H_L^1(\bR^d)$ and $BMO_L(\bR^d)$, where $L=-Δ+V$ is a Schrödinger operator with $V$ satisfying an appropriate reverse Hölder inequality. More precisely, we prove that such products may be written as the sum of two continuous bilinear operators, one from $H_L^1(\bR^d)\times BMO_L(\bR^d) $ into $L^1(\bR^d)$, the other one from $H^1_L(\bR^d)\times BMO_L(\bR^d) $ into $H^{\log}(\bR^d)$, where the space $H^{\log}(\bR^d)$ is the set of distributions $f$ whose grand maximal function $\mathfrak Mf$ satisfies $$\int_{…
We characterize dyadic little BMO via the boundedness of the tensor commutator with a single well chosen dyadic shift. It is shown that several proof strategies work for this problem, both in the unweighted case as well as with Bloom weights. Moreover, we address the flexibility of one of our methods.
We characterize the boundedness of the commutators $[b, T]$ with biparameter Journé operators $T$ in the two-weight, Bloom-type setting, and express the norms of these commutators in terms of a weighted little $bmo$ norm of the symbol $b$. Specifically, if $μ$ and $λ$ are biparameter $A_p$ weights, $ν:= μ^{1/p}λ^{-1/p}$ is the Bloom weight, and $b$ is in $bmo(ν)$, then we prove a lower bound and testing condition $\|b\|_{bmo(ν)} \lesssim \sup \| [b, R_k^1 R_l^2]: L^p(μ) \rightarrow L^p(λ)\|$, where $R_k^1$ and $R_l^2$ are Riesz transforms acting in each variable. Further, we prove that for suc…
An RD-space ${\mathcal X}$ is a space of homogeneous type in the sense of Coifman and Weiss with the additional property that a reverse doubling condition holds in ${\mathcal X}$. Let $ρ$ be an admissible function on RD-space ${\mathcal X}$. The authors first introduce the localized spaces $\mathrm{BMO}_ρ({\mathcal X})$ and $\mathrm{BLO}_ρ({\mathcal X})$ and establish their basic properties, including the John-Nirenberg inequality for $\mathrm{BMO}_ρ({\mathcal X})$, several equivalent characterizations for $\mathrm{BLO}_ρ({\mathcal X})$, and some relations between these spaces. Then the author…
In this paper we establish a T1 criterion for the boundedness of Hermite-Calderon-Zygmund operators on the BMO_H(R^n) space naturally associated to the Hermite operator H. We apply this criterion in a systematic way to prove the boundedness on BMO_H(R^n) of certain harmonic analysis operators related to H (Riesz transforms, maximal operators, Littlewood-Paley g-functions and variation operators).
We prove that the class of Muckenhoupt A_p weights coincides with the intersection of finitely many suitable translates of dyadic A_p, in both the one-parameter and multiparameter cases, and that the analogous results hold for the reverse Hölder class RH_p, for doubling measures, and for the space VMO of functions of vanishing mean oscillation. We extend to the multiparameter (product) space BMO of functions of bounded mean oscillation the corresponding one-parameter BMO result due to T. Mei, by means of the Carleson-measure characterization of multiparameter BMO. Our results hold in both the …
We study generalized Poincaré inequalities. We prove that if a function satisfies a suitable inequality of Poincaré type, then the Hardy-Littlewood maximal function also obeys a meaningful estimate of similar form. As a by-product, we get a unified approach to proving that the maximal operator is bounded on Sobolev, Lipschitz and BMO spaces.
Let $dγ(x)\equivπ^{-n/2}e^{-|x|^2}dx$ for all $x\in{\mathbb R}^n$ be the Gauss measure on ${\mathbb R}^n$. In this paper, the authors establish the characterizations of the space BMO$(γ)$ of Mauceri and Meda via commutators of either local fractional integral operators or local fractional maximal operators. To this end, the authors first prove that such a local fractional integral operator of order $β$ is bounded from $L^p(γ)$ to $L^{p/(1-pβ)}(γ)$, or from the Hardy space $H^1(γ)$ of Mauceri and Meda to $L^{1/(1-β)}(γ)$ or from $L^{1/β}(γ)$ to BMO$(γ)$, where $β\in(0, 1)$ and $p\in(1, 1/β)$.
In this paper, we study the dyadic Carleson Embedding Theorem in the matrix weighted setting. We provide two new proofs of this theorem, which highlight connections between the matrix Carleson Embedding Theorem and both maximal functions and $H^1$-BMO duality. Along the way, we establish boundedness results about new maximal functions associated to matrix $A_2$ weights and duality results concerning $H^1$ and BMO sequence spaces in the matrix setting. As an application, we then use this Carleson Embedding Theorem to show that if $S$ is a sparse operator, then the operator norm of $S$ on $L^2(W…
Given a Radon measure $μ$ on $R^d$, which may be non doubling, we introduce a space of type BMO with respect to this measure. It is shown that many properties that hold when $μ$ is doubling remain valid for the space BMO introduced in this paper, without assuming $μ$ doubling. For instance, Calderon-Zygmund operators which are bounded in $L^2$ are bounded from $L^\infty$ into the new BMO space. Moreover, a John-Nirenberg inequality is satisfied, and the predual of BMO is an atomic space $H^1$. Using a sharp maximal function it is proved that operators bounded from $L^\infty$ into BMO and from …
In this paper, we prove that the product (in the distribution sense) of two functions, which are respectively in $ \BMO(\bR^n)$ and $\H^1(\bR^n)$, may be written as the sum of two continuous bilinear operators, one from $\H^1(\bR^n)\times \BMO(\bR^n) $ into $L^1(\bR^n)$, the other one from $\H^1(\bR^n)\times \BMO(\bR^n) $ into a new kind of Hardy-Orlicz space denoted by $\H^{\log}(\bR^n)$. More precisely, the space $\H^{\log}(\bR^n)$ is the set of distributions $f$ whose grand maximal function $\mathcal Mf$ satisfies $$\int_{\mathbb R^n} \frac {|\mathcal M f(x)|}{\log(e+|x|) +\log (e+ |\mathca…
In this paper we prove several weighted estimates for bilinear fractional integral operators and their commutators with BMO functions. We also prove maximal function control theorem for these operators, that is, we prove the weighted $L^p$ norm is bounded by the weighted $L^p$ norm of a natural maximal operator when the weight belongs to $A_\infty$. As a corollary we are able to obtain new weighted estimates for the bilinear maximal function associated to the bilinear Hilbert transform.
Let $\mathcal{T}^*$ be the semi-group maximal function associated to the Schrödinger operator $-Δ+V(x)$ with $V$ satisfying an appropriate reverse Hölder inequality. In this paper, we show that the commutator of $\mathcal{T}^*$ is a compact operator on $L^p(w)$ for $1<p<\infty$ if $b\in \text{CMO}_θ(ρ)(\mathbb{R}^n)$ and $w\in A_p^{ρ,θ}(\mathbb{R}^n)$. Here $\text{ CMO}_θ(ρ)(\mathbb{R}^n)$ denotes the closure of $\mathcal{C}_c^\infty(\mathbb{R}^n)$ in the $\text{BMO}_θ(ρ)(\mathbb{R}^n)$ (which is larger than the classical $\text{BMO}(\mathbb{R}^n)$ space) topology. The space where $b$ belongs …
Under the assumption that the underlying measure is a non-negative Radon measure which only satisfies some growth condition and may not be doubling, we define the product of functions in the regular $BMO$ and the atomic block $\H^{1}$ in the sense of distribution, and show that this product may be split into two parts, one in $L^{1}$ and the other in some Hardy-Orlicz space.
We investigate parabolic Muckenhoupt weights and functions of bounded mean oscillation (BMO) related to nonlinear parabolic partial differential equations. The main result gives a full characterization of weak and strong type weighted norm inequalities for parabolic forward in time maximal operators. In addition, we give a Jones type factorization result for the parabolic Muckenhoupt weights and a Coifman-Rochberg type characterization of the parabolic BMO from Moser's seminal paper through parabolic Muckenhoupt weights and maximal functions.
We study the two weight quantitative estimates for the commutator of maximal functions and the maximal commutators with respect to the symbol in weighted BMO space on spaces of homogeneous type. These commutators turn out to be controlled by the sparse operators in the setting of space of homogeneous type. The lower bound of the maximal commutator is also obtained.
Let ${\mathcal X}$ be a doubling metric measure space. If ${\mathcal X}$ has the $δ$-annular decay property for some $δ\in (0,\,1]$, the authors then establish the boundedness of the Lusin-area function, which is defined via kernels modeled on the semigroup generated by the Schrödinger operator, from localized spaces ${\rm BMO}_ρ({\mathcal X})$ to ${\rm BLO}_ρ({\mathcal X})$ without invoking any regularity of considered kernels. The same is true for the $g^\ast_\labda$ function and unlike the Lusin-area function, in this case, ${\mathcal X}$ is not necessary to have the $δ$-annular decay prope…
Suppose $L=-Δ+V$ is a Schrödinger operator on $\mathbb{R}^n$ with a potential $V$ belonging to certain reverse Hölder class $RH_σ$ with $σ\geq n/2$. The aim of this paper is to study the $A_p$ weights associated to $L$, denoted by $A_p^L$, which is a larger class than the classical Muckenhoupt $A_p$ weights. We first establish the "exp--log" link between $A_p^L$ and $BMO_L$ (the BMO space associated with $L$), which is the first extension of the classical result to a setting beyond the Laplace operator. Second, we prove the quantitative $A_p^L$ bound for the maximal function and the maximal he…
The John-Nirenberg theorem states that functions of bounded mean oscillation are exponentially integrable. In this article we give two extensions of this theorem. The first one relates the dyadic maximal function to the sharp maximal function of Fefferman-Stein, while the second one concerns local weighted mean oscillations, generalizing a result of Muckenhoupt and Wheeden. Applications to the context of generalized Poincaré type inequalities and to the context of the $C_p$ class of weights are given. Extensions to the case of polynomial BMO type spaces are also given.
We first consider two types of localizations of singular integral operators of convolution type, and show, under mild decay and smoothness conditions on the auxiliary functions, that their boundedness on the local Hardy space $h^1(\mathbb{R}^n)$ is equivalent. We then study the boundedness on $h^1(\mathbb{R}^n)$ of the commutator $[b,T]$ of an inhomogeneous singular integral operator with $b$ in $bmo(\mathbb{R}^n)$, the nonhomogeneous space of functions of bounded mean oscillation. We define local analogues of the atomic space $H^1_b(\mathbb{R}^n)$ introduced by Pérez in the case of the homoge…
We study analogues of well-known relationships between Muckenhoupt weights and $BMO$ in the setting of Bekollé-Bonami weights. For Bekollé-Bonami weights of bounded hyperbolic oscillation, we provide distance formulas of Garnett and Jones-type, in the context of $BMO$ on the unit disc and hyperbolic Lipschitz functions. This leads to a characterization of all weights in this class, for which any power of the weight is a Bekollé-Bonami weight, which in particular reveals an intimate connection between Bekollé-Bonami weights and Bloch functions. On the open problem of characterizing the closure …
Let $M_{Ω,α}$ and $T_{Ω,α}$ be the fractional maximal and integral operators with rough kernels, where $0<α<n$. In this paper, we shall study the continuity properties of $M_{Ω,α}$ and $T_{Ω,α}$ on the weighted Morrey spaces $L^{p,κ}(w)$. The boundedness of their commutators with BMO functions is also obtained.
Given a Calderón-Zygmund operator $T$, a classic result of Coifman-Rochberg-Weiss relates the norm of the commutator $[b, T]$ with the BMO norm of $b$. We focus on a weighted version of this result, obtained by Bloom and later generalized by Lacey and the authors, which relates $\| [b, T] : L^p(\mathbb{R}^n; μ) \to L^p(\mathbb{R}^n; λ) \|$ to the norm of $b$ in a certain weighted BMO space determined by $A_p$ weights $μ$ and $λ$. We extend this result to higher iterates of the commutator and recover a one-weight result of Chung-Pereyra-Perez in the process.
In this paper we establish the product Hardy spaces associated with the Bessel Schrödinger operator introduced by Muckenhoupt and Stein, and provide equivalent characterizations in terms of the Bessel Riesz transforms, non-tangential and radial maximal functions, and Littlewood--Paley theory, which are consistent with the classical product Hardy space theory developed by Chang and Fefferman. Moreover, in this specific setting, we also provide another characterization via the Telyakovskií transform, which further implies that the product Hardy space associated with this Bessel Schrödinger opera…
In this paper, the following iterated commutators $T_{*,Πb}$ of maximal operator for multilinear singular integral operators and $I_{α, Πb}$ of multilinear fractional integral operator are introduced and studied $$\aligned T_{*,Πb}(\vec{f})(x)&=\sup_{δ>0}\bigg|[b_1,[b_2,...[b_{m-1},[b_m,T_δ]_m]_{m-1}...]_2]_1 (\vec{f})(x)\bigg|,$$ $$\aligned I_{α, Πb}(\vec{f})(x)&=[b_1,[b_2,...[b_{m-1},[b_m,I_α]_m]_{m-1}...]_2]_1 (\vec{f})(x),$$ where $T_δ$ are the smooth truncations of the multilinear singular integral operators and $I_α$ is the multilinear fractional integral operator, $b_i\in BMO$ for $i=1,…
This paper mainly dedicates to prove a plethora of weighted estimates on Morrey spaces for bilinear fractional integral operators and their general commutators with BMO functions of the form $$B_α(f,g)(x)=\int_{\mathbb{R}^{n}}\frac{f(x-y)g(x+y)}{|y|^{n-α}}dy,\qquad 0<α<n.$$ We also prove some maximal function control theorems for these operators, that is, the weighted Morrey norm is bounded by the weighted Morrey norm of a natural maximal operator when the weight belongs to $A_{\infty}$. As a corollary, some new weighted estimates for the bilinear maximal function associated to the bilinear Hi…
In this paper we investigate weighted norm inequalities for the commutator of a fractional integral operator and multiplication by a function. In particular, we show that, for $μ,λ\in A_{p,q}$ and $α/n+1/q=1/p$, the norm $\| [b,I_α]:L^p(μ^p)\to L^q(λ^q) \|$ is equivalent to the norm of $b$ in the weighted BMO space $BMO(ν)$, where $ν=μλ^{-1}$. This work extends some of the results on this topic existing in the literature, and continues a line of investigation which was initiated by Bloom in 1985 and was recently developed further by the first author, Lacey, and Wick.
In recent years, it has been well understood that a Calderón-Zygmund operator $T$ is pointwise controlled by a finite number of dyadic operators of a very simple structure (called the sparse operators). We obtain a similar pointwise estimate for the commutator $[b,T]$ with a locally integrable function $b$. This result is applied into two directions. If $b\in BMO$, we improve several weighted weak type bounds for $[b,T]$. If $b$ belongs to the weighted $BMO$, we obtain a quantitative form of the two-weighted bound for $[b,T]$ due to Bloom-Holmes-Lacey-Wick.
Let $μ$ be a Radon measure on $R^d$, which may be non doubling. The only condition that $μ$ must satisfy is $μ(B(x,r))\leq C r^n$, for all $x,r$ and for some fixed $0<n\leq d$. Recently we introduced spaces of type $BMO(μ)$ and $H^1(μ)$ which proved to be useful to study the $L^p(μ)$ boundedness of Calderón-Zygmund operators without assuming doubling conditions. In this paper a characterization of the new atomic space $H^1(μ)$ in terms of a grand maximal operator $M_Φ$ is given. It is shown that $f$ belongs to $H^1(μ)$ iff $f\in L^1(μ)$, $\int f dμ=0$ and $M_Φ(f)\in L^1(μ)$, as in the usual do…
Let $\mathcal{L}$ be the Schrödinger operator with potential $V$, that is, $\mathcal L=-Δ+V$, where it is assumed that $V$ satisfies a reverse Hölder inequality. We consider weighted Morrey-Campanato spaces $BMO_{\mathcal L,w}^α(\mathbb R^d)$ and $BLO_{L,w}^α(\mathbb R^d)$ in the Schrödinger setting. We prove that the variation operator $V_σ(\{T_t\}_{t>0})$, $σ>2$, and the oscillation operator $O(\{T_t\}_{t>0}, \{t_j\}_{j\in \mathbb Z})$, where $t_j<t_{j+1}$, $j\in \mathbb Z$, $\lim_{j\rightarrow +\infty}t_j=+\infty$ and $\lim_{j\rightarrow -\infty} t_j=0$, being $T_t=t^k\partial_t^k e^{-t\mat…
We study the Hardy-Littlewood maximal operator defined via an unconditional norm, acting on block decreasing functions. We show that the uncentered maximal operator maps block decreasing functions of special bounded variation to functions with integrable distributional derivatives, thus improving their regularity. In the special case of the maximal operator defined by the l_infty-norm, that is, by averaging over cubes, the result extends to block decreasing functions of bounded variation, not necessarily special.
Let ${\mathcal X}$ be a metric space with doubling measure, $L$ a nonnegative self-adjoint operator in $L^2({\mathcal X})$ satisfying the Davies-Gaffney estimate, $ω$ a concave function on $(0,\infty)$ of strictly lower type $p_ω\in (0, 1]$ and $ρ(t)={t^{-1}}/ω^{-1}(t^{-1})$ for all $t\in (0,\infty).$ The authors introduce the Orlicz-Hardy space $H_{ω,L}({\mathcal X})$ via the Lusin area function associated to the heat semigroup, and the BMO-type space ${\mathop\mathrm{BMO}_{ρ,L}(\mathcal X)}$. The authors then establish the duality between $H_{ω,L}({\mathcal X})$ and $\mathrm{BMO}_{ρ,L}({\mat…
Let $\mathcal{L}=-Δ+V$ be a Schrödinger operator, where the nonnegative potential $V$ belongs to the reverse Hölder class $B_{q}$. By the aid of the subordinative formula, we estimate the regularities of the fractional heat semigroup, $\{e^{-t\mathcal{L}^α}\}_{t>0},$ associated with $\mathcal{L}$. As an application, we obtain the $BMO^γ_{\mathcal{L}}$-boundedness of the maximal function, and the Littlewood-Paley $g$-functions associated with $\mathcal{L}$ via $T1$ theorem, respectively.
In this paper, the object of our investigation is the following Littlewood-Paley square function $g$ associated with the Schrödinger operator $L=-Δ+V$ which is defined by: $g(f)(x)=\Big(\int_{0}^{\infty}\Big|\frac{d}{dt}e^{-tL}(f)(x)\Big|^2tdt\Big)^{1/2},$ where $Δ$ is the laplacian operator on $\mathbb{R}^n$ and $V$ is a nonnegative potential. We show that the commutators of $g$ are compact operators from $L^p(w)$ to $L^p(w)$ for $1<p<\infty$ if $b\in {\rm CMO}_θ(ρ)$ and $w\in A_p^{ρ,θ}$, where ${\rm CMO}_θ(ρ)$ is the closure of $\mathcal{C}_c^\infty(\mathbb{R}^n)$ in the ${\rm BMO}_θ(ρ)$ top…
Let $\mathcal{X}$ be a metric space with doubling measure and $L$ a nonnegative self-adjoint operator in $L^2(\mathcal{X})$ satisfying the Davies-Gaffney estimates. Let $φ:\,\mathcal{X}\times[0,\infty)\to[0,\infty)$ be a function such that $φ(x,\cdot)$ is an Orlicz function, $φ(\cdot,t)\in A_{\infty}(\mathcal{X})$ (the class of Muckenhoupt weights) and its uniformly critical lower type index $i(φ)\in(0,1]$. In this paper, the authors introduce a Musielak-Orlicz Hardy space $H_{φ,\,L}(\mathcal{X})$ by the Lusin area function associated with the heat semigroup generated by $L$, and a Musielak-Or…
Let $S$ be the Lie group $\mathrm{R}^n\ltimes \mathrm{R}^+$ endowed with the left-invariant Riemannian symmetric space structure and the right Haar measure $ρ$, which is a Lie group of exponential growth. Hebisch and Steger in [Math. Z. 245(2003), 37--61] proved that any integrable function on $(S,ρ)$ admits a Calderón--Zygmund decomposition which involves a particular family of sets, called Calderón--Zygmund sets. In this paper, we first show the existence of a dyadic grid in the group $S$, which has {nice} properties similar to the classical Euclidean dyadic cubes. Using the properties of th…
The following subexponential estimate for commutators is proved |[|\{x\in Q: |[b,T]f(x)|>tM^2f(x)\}|\leq c\,e^{-\sqrt{α\, t\|b\|_{BMO}}}\, |Q|, \qquad t>0.\] where $c$ and $α$ are absolute constants, $T$ is a Calderón--Zygmund operator, $M$ is the Hardy Littlewood maximal function and $f$ is any function supported on the cube $Q$. It is also obtained \[|\{x\in Q: |f(x)-m_f(Q)|>tM_{1/4;Q}^#(f)(x) \}|\le c\, e^{-α\,t}|Q|,\qquad t>0,\] where $m_f(Q)$ is the median value of $f$ on the cube $Q$ and $M_{1/4;Q}^#$ is Strömberg's local sharp maximal function. As a consequence it is derived Karagulyan'…
Let $Φ$ be a concave function on $(0,\infty)$ of strictly lower type $p_Φ\in(0,1]$ and $ω\in A^{\mathop\mathrm{loc}}_{\infty}(\mathbb{R}^n)$. We introduce the weighted local Orlicz-Hardy space $h^Φ_ω(\mathbb{R}^n)$ via the local grand maximal function. Let $ρ(t)\equiv t^{-1}/Φ^{-1}(t^{-1})$ for all $t\in(0,\infty)$. We also introduce the $\mathop\mathrm{BMO}$-type space $\mathop\mathrm{bmo}_{ρ,\,ω}(\mathbb{R}^n)$ and establish the duality between $h^Φ_ω(\mathbb{R}^n)$ and $\mathop\mathrm{bmo}_{ρ,\,ω}(\mathbb{R}^n)$. Several real-varaiable characterizations of $h^Φ_ω(\mathbb{R}^n)$ are presente…
