Let $\mathcal{W}(b)$ be a class of free Lie conformal algebras of rank $2$ with $\mathbb{C}[\partial]$-basis ${L,H}$ and relations \begin{eqnarray*} [L_λL]=(\partial+2λ)L,\ \ [L_λH]=\big(\partial+(1-b)λ\big)H, \ \ [H_λH]=0, \end{eqnarray*} where $b$ is a nonzero complex number. In this paper, we classify extensions between two finite irreducible conformal modules over the Lie conformal algebras $\mathcal{W}(b)$.
In this paper, we study conformal biderivations of a Lie conformal algebra. First, we give the definition of conformal biderivation. Next, we determine the conformal biderivations of loop $W(a,b)$ Lie conformal algebra, loop Virasoro Lie conformal algebra and Virasoro Lie conformal algebra. Especially, all conformal biderivations on Virasoro Lie conformal algebra are inner conformal biderivations.
The purpose of this paper is to extend the cohomology and conformal derivation theories of the classical Lie conformal algebras to Lie conformal superalgebras. Firstly, we construct the semidirect product of a Lie conformal superalgebra and its conformal module, and study derivations of this semidirect product. Secondly, we develop cohomology theory of Lie conformal superalgebras and discuss some applications to the study of deformations of Lie conformal superalgebras. Finally, we introduce generalized derivations of Lie conformal superalgebras and study their properties.
In this paper, we focus on the $(\si,\t)$-derivation theory of Lie conformal superalgebras. Firstly, we study the fundamental properties of conformal $(\si,\t)$-derivations. Secondly, we mainly research the interiors of conformal $G$-derivations. Finally, we discuss the relationships between the conformal $(\si,\t)$-derivations and some generalized conformal derivations of Lie conformal superalgebras.

The purpose of this paper is to extend the cohomology and conformal derivation theories of the classical Lie conformal algebras to Hom-Lie conformal algebras. In this paper, we develop cohomology theory of Hom-Lie conformal algebras and discuss some applications to the study of deformations of regular Hom-Lie conformal algebras. Also, we introduce $α^k$-derivations of multiplicative Hom-Lie conformal algebras and study their properties.
In this paper, we introduce a representation theory of Hom-Lie conformal superalgebras and discuss the cases of adjoint representations. Furthermore, we develop cohomology theory of Hom-Lie conformal superalgebras and discuss some applications to the study of deformations of regular Hom-Lie conformal superalgebras. Finally, we introduce derivations of multiplicative Hom-Lie conformal superalgebras and study their properties.
In this paper, we classify all finite irreducible conformal modules over a class of Lie conformal algebras $\mathcal{W}(b)$ with $b\in\mathbb{C}$ related to the Virasoro conformal algebra. Explicitly, any finite irreducible conformal module over $\mathcal{W}(b)$ is proved to be isomorphic to $M_{Δ,α,β}$ with $Δ\neq 0$ or $β\neq 0$ if $b=0$, or $M_{Δ,α}$ with $Δ\neq 0$ if $b\neq0$. As a byproduct, all finite irreducible conformal modules over the Heisenberg-Virasoro conformal algebra and the Lie conformal algebra of $\mathcal{W}(2,2)$-type are classified. Finally, the same thing is done for the…
Let $p$ be a nonzero complex number. Recently, a class of infinite rank Lie conformal algebras $\mathfrak{B}(p)$ was introduced in [13]. In this paper, we study the structure theory of this class of Lie conformal algebras. Specifically, we completely determine the conformal derivations, the conformal biderivations and certain second cohomologies of $\mathfrak{B}(p)$.
We classify finite irreducible conformal modules over a class of infinite Lie conformal algebras ${\frak {B}}(p)$ of Block type, where $p$ is a nonzero complex number. In particular, we obtain that a finite irreducible conformal module over ${\frak {B}}(p)$ may be a nontrivial extension of a finite conformal module over ${\frak {Vir}}$ if $p=-1$, where ${\frak {Vir}}$ is a Virasoro conformal subalgebra of ${\frak {B}}(p)$. As a byproduct, we also obtain the classification of finite irreducible conformal modules over a series of finite Lie conformal algebras ${\frak b}(n)$ for $n\ge1$.
In this paper, we introduce the notion of a BiHom-Lie conformal algebra and develop its cohomology theory. Also, we discuss some applications to the study of deformations of regular BiHom-Lie conformal algebras. Finally, we introduce derivations of multiplicative BiHom-Lie conformal algebras and study their properties.
In this paper, we study the structure and representability of the automorphism group functor of the N=4 Lie conformal superalgebra over an algebraically closed field k of characteristic zero.
The purpose of this paper is to study $W(2,2)$ Lie conformal algebra, which has a free $\mathbb{C}[\partial]$-basis $\{L, M\}$ such that $[L_λL]=(\partial+2λ)L$, $[L_λM]=(\partial+2λ)M$, $[M_λM]=0$. In this paper, we study conformal derivations, central extensions and conformal modules for this Lie conformal algebra. Also, we compute the cohomology of this Lie conformal algebra with coefficients in its modules. In particular, we determine its cohomology with trivial coefficients both for the basic and reduced complexes.
In this paper, a new class of $\Z$-graded Lie conformal algebras $\CW(a,c)$ of infinite rank is constructed. The conformal derivations and one-dimensional central extensions of $\CW(a,c)$ are completely determined. And all conformal modules of rank one over $\CW(a,c) (a\neq0)$ are proved to be trivial and all such nontrivial (irreducible) modules over $\CW(0,c)$ are classified.
Lie conformal algebras $\mathcal{W}(a,b)$ are the semi-direct sums of Virasoro Lie conformal algebra and its nontrivial conformal modules of rank one. In this paper, we give a complete classification of extensions of finite irreducible conformal modules of $\mathcal{W}(a,b)$. With a similar method, we characterize all extensions of finite irreducible conformal modules of Schrödinger-Virasoro type Lie conformal algebras $TSV(a,b)$ and $TSV(c)$.
In this paper, under some natural condition, a complete classification of compatible left-symmetric conformal algebraic structures on the Lie conformal algebra $\mathcal{W}(a,b)$ is presented. Moreover, applying this result, we obtain a class of compatible left-symmetric algebraic structures on the coefficient algebra of $\mathcal{W}(a,b)$.
Fix $a,b\in\C$, let $LW(a,b)$ be the loop $W(a,b)$ Lie algebra over $\C$ with basis $\{L_{\a,i},I_{\b,j} \mid \a,\b,i,j\in\Z\}$ and relations $[L_{\a,i},L_{\b,j}]=(\a-\b)L_{\a+\b,i+j}, [L_{\a,i},I_{\b,j}]=-(a+b\a+\b)I_{\a+\b,i+j},[I_{\a,i},I_{\b,j}]=0$, where $\a,\b,i,j\in\Z$. In this paper, a formal distribution Lie algebra of $LW(a,b)$ is constructed. Then the associated conformal algebra $CLW(a,b)$ is studied, where $CLW(a,b)$ has a $\C[\partial]$-basis $\{L_i,I_j\,|\,i,j\in\Z\}$ with $λ$-brackets $[L_i\, {}_λ\, L_j]=(\partial+2λ) L_{i+j}, [L_i\, {}_λ\, I_j]=(\partial+(1-b)λ) I_{i+j}$ and $…
Recently in \cite{s-n}, we have investigated Lie algebras and abelian Lie algebras derived from Lie hyperalgebras using the fundamental relations $\mathcal{L}$ and $\mathcal{A}$, respectively. In the present paper, continuing this method we obtain solvable Lie algebras from Lie hyperalgebras by $\mathcal{S}_n$-relations. We show that $\bigcap_{n\geq 1}\mathcal{S}^*_n$ is the smallest equivalence relation on a Lie hyperalgebra such that the quotient structure is a solvable Lie algebra. We also provide some necessary and sufficient conditions for transitivity of the relation $\mathcal{S}_n$ usin…
Let $HV$ be the loop Heisenberg-Virasoro Lie algebra over $\C$ with basis $\{L_{\a,i},H_{\b,j}\,|\,\a,\,\b,i,j\in\Z\}$ and brackets $[L_{\a,i},L_{\b,j}]=(\a-\b)L_{\a+\b,i+j}, [L_{\a,i},H_{\b,j}]=-\b H_{\a+\b,i+j},[H_{\a,i},H_{\b,j}]=0$. In this paper, a formal distribution Lie algebra of $HV$ is constructed. Then the associated conformal algebra $CHV$ is studied, where $CHV$ has a $\C[\partial]$-basis $\{L_i,H_i\,|\,i\in\Z\}$ with $λ$-brackets $[L_i\, {}_λ\, L_j]=(\partial+2λ) L_{i+j}, [L_i\, {}_λ\, H_j]=(\partial+λ) H_{i+j}, [H_i\, {}_λ\, L_j]=λL_{i+j}$ and $[H_i\, {}_λ\, H_j]=0$. In particul…
Let $R$ be a Lie conformal algebra. The purpose of this paper is to investigate the conformal derivation algebra $CDer(R)$, the conformal quasiderivation algebra $QDer(R)$ and the generalized conformal derivation algebra $GDer(R)$. The generalized conformal derivation algebra is a natural generalization of the conformal derivation algebra. Obviously, we have the following tower $CDer(R)\subseteq QDer(R)\subseteq GDer(R)\subseteq gc(R)$, where $gc(R)$ is the general Lie conformal algebra. Furthermore, we mainly research the connection of these generalized conformal derivations. Finally, the con…
The main object of study of this paper is the notion of 3-Lie superalgebras with superderivations. We consider a representation $(Φ,\mathcal{P})$ of a $3$-Lie superalgebra $\mathcal{Q}$ on $\mathcal{P}$ and construct first-order cohomologies by using superderivations of $\mathcal{P},\mathcal{Q}$ which induces a Lie superalgebra $\mathcal{T}_Φ$ and its representation $Ψ$. Then we consider abelian extensions of $3$-Lie superalgebras of the form $0\rightarrow \mathcal{P}\hookrightarrow \mathcal{L}\rightarrow \mathcal{Q}\rightarrow 0$ with $[\mathcal{P},\mathcal{P},\mathcal{L}]=0$ and construct an…
Fix a positive integer number $r$. A class of $r$-dim Lie conformal superalgebras named $r$-dim $i$-linear Lie conformal superalgebras are studied for $1\leq i \leq r$. We present an equivalent characterization of this class of Lie conformal superalgebras in $r$ dimension. Moreover, by this equivalent characterization, several constructions and examples are given.
In this paper, we introduce the notion of BiHom-Lie conformal superalgebras. We develop its representation theory and define the cohomology group with coefficients in a module. Finally, we introduce conformal derivations of BiHom-Lie conformal superalgebras and study some of their properties.
We study $\mathcal{O}$-operators of associative conformal algebras with respect to conformal bimodules. As natural generalizations of $\mathcal{O}$-operators and dendriform conformal algebras, we introduce the notions of twisted Rota-Baxter operators and conformal NS-algebras. We show that twisted Rota-Baxter operators give rise to conformal NS-algebras, the same as $\mathcal{O}$-operators induce dendriform conformal algebras. And we introduce a conformal analog of associative Nijenhius operators and enumerate main properties. By using derived bracket construction of Kosmann-Schwarzbach and a …
We discuss possible notions of conformal Lie algebras, paying particular attention to graded conformal Lie algebras with $d$-dimensional space isotropy: namely, those with a $\mathfrak{co}(d)$ subalgebra acting in a prescribed way on the additional generators. We classify those Lie algebras up to isomorphism for all $d\geq 2$ following the same methodology used recently to classify kinematical Lie algebras, as deformations of the `most abelian' graded conformal algebra. We find 17 isomorphism classes of Lie algebras for $d\neq 3$ and 23 classes for $d=3$. Lie algebra contractions define a part…
In this paper, two new classes of Schrödinger-Virasoro type Lie conformal algebras TSV(a,b) and TSV(c) which are non-simple are introduced for some a, b, c\in \mathbb{C}. Moreover, central extensions, conformal derivations and free conformal modules of rank 1 of TSV(a,b) and TSV(c) are determined.
In this paper, we introduce the representation theory of $δ$-Hom-Jordan Lie conformal superalgebras and discuss the cases of adjoint representations. Furthermore, we develop the cohomology theory of Hom-Lie conformal superalgebras and discuss some applications to the study of deformations of regular $δ$-Hom-Jordan Lie conformal superalgebras. Finally, we introduce derivations of multiplicative $δ$-Hom-Jordan Lie conformal superalgebras and study their properties.
Conformal classical Yang-Baxter equation and $S$-equation naturally appear in the study of Lie conformal bialgebras and left-symmetric conformal bialgebras. In this paper, they are interpreted in terms of a kind of operators, namely, $\mathcal O$-operators in the conformal sense. Explicitly, the skew-symmetric part of a conformal linear map $T$ where $T_0=T_λ\mid_{λ=0}$ is an $\mathcal O$-operator in the conformal sense is a skew-symmetric solution of conformal classical Yang-Baxter equation, whereas the symmetric part is a symmetric solution of conformal $S$-equation. One byproduct is that a …
Motivated by the structure of certain modules over the loop Virasoro Lie conformal algebra and the Lie structures of Schrodinger-Virasoro algebras, we construct a class of infinite rank Lie conformal algebras CSV (a, b), where a, b are complex numbers. The conformal derivations of CSV (a, b) are uniformly determined. The rank one conformal modules and Z-graded free intermediate series modules over CSV (a, b) are classified. Corresponding results of the conformal subalgebra CHV (a, b) of CSV (a, b) are also presented.
Let $L$ be a Lie algebra of Block type over $\C$ with basis $\{L_{α,i}\,|\,α,i\in\Z\}$ and brackets $[L_{α,i},L_{β,j}]=(β(i+1)-α(j+1))L_{α+β,i+j}$. In this paper, we shall construct a formal distribution Lie algebra of $L$. Then we decide its conformal algebra $B$ with $\C[\partial]$-basis $\{L_α(w)\,|\,α\in\Z\}$ and $λ$-brackets $[L_α(w)_λL_β(w)]=(α\partial+(α+β)λ)L_{α+β}(w)$. Finally, we give a classification of free intermediate series $B$-modules.
The aim of this paper is to study a Lie conformal algebra of Block type. In this paper, conformal derivation, conformal module of rank 1 and low-dimensional comohology of the Lie conformal algebra of Block type are studied. Also, the vertex Poisson algebra structure associated with the Lie conformal algebra of Block type is constructed.
In this paper, simplicity of quadratic Lie conformal algebras are investigated. From the point view of the corresponding Gel'fand-Dorfman bialgebras, some sufficient conditions and necessary conditions to ensure simplicity of quadratic Lie conformal algebras are presented. By these observations, we present several classes of new infinite simple Lie conformal algebras. These results will be useful for classification purposes.
We distinguish a class of irreducible finite representations of conformal Lie (super)algebras. These representations (called universally defined) are the simplest ones from the computational point of view: a universally defined representation of a conformal Lie (super)algebra $L$ is completely determined by commutation relations of $L$ and by the requirement of associative locality of generators. We describe such representations for conformal superalgebras $W_n$, $n\ge 0$, with respect to a natural set of generators. We also consider the problem for superalgebras $K_n$. In particular, we find …
A quadratic Lie conformal algebra corresponds to a Hamiltonian pair in \cite{GD}, which plays fundamental roles in completely integrable systems. Moreover, it also corresponds to certain compatible pairs of a Lie algebra and a Novikov algebra which was called Gel'fand-Dorfman bialgebra by Xu in \cite{X1}. In this paper, central extensions and conformal derivations of quadratic Lie conformal algebras are studied in terms of Gel'fand-Dorfman bialgebras. It is shown that central extensions and conformal derivations of a quadratic Lie conformal algebra are related with some bilinear forms and some…
A finite-dimensional Lie algebra $L$ over a field $F$ of characteristic zero is called elementary if each of its subalgebras has trivial Frattini ideal; it is an $A$-algebra if every nilpotent subalgebra is abelian. This paper is a continuation of the study of these algebras initiated by the authors in `Elementary Lie Algebras and Lie A-algebras', J. Algebra 312 (2007), 891--901. If we denote by $\mathcal{A}$, $\mathcal{G}$, $\mathcal{E}$, $\mathcal{L}$, $Φ$ the classes of $A$-algebras, almost algebraic algebras, $E$-algebras, elementary algebras and $ϕ$-free algebras respectively, then it is …
Lie conformal algebras are useful tools for studying vertex operator algebras and their representations. In this paper, we establish close relations between Poisson conformal algebras and representations of Lie conformal algebras. We also calculate explicitly Poisson conformal brackets on the associated graded conformal algebras of universal associative conformal envelopes of Virasoro conformal algebra and Neveu--Schwartz conformal superalgebra.
We classify the N = 1, 2, 3 superconformal Lie algebras of Schwimmer and Seiberg by means of differential non-abelian cohomology, and describe the general philosophy behind this new technique. The structure of the group (functor) of automorphisms of the corresponding Lie conformal superalgebra is a key ingredient of the proof.
We construct a calculus structure on the Lie conformal algebra cochain complex. By restricting to degree one chains, we recover the structure of a g-complex introduced in [DSK]. A special case of this construction is the variational calculus, for which we provide explicit formulas.
For any decomposition of a Lie superalgebra $\mathcal G$ into a direct sum $\mathcal G=\mathcal H\oplus\mathcal E$ of a subalgebra $\mathcal H$ and a subspace $\mathcal E$, without any further resctrictions on $\mathcal H$ and $\mathcal E$, we construct a nonlinear realisation of $\mathcal G$ on $\mathcal E$. The result generalises a theorem by Kantor from Lie algebras to Lie superalgebras. When $\mathcal G$ is a differential graded Lie algebra, we show that it gives a construction of an associated $L_\infty$-algebra.
$\mathcal{O}$-operators (also known as relative Rota-Baxter operators) on Lie algebras have several applications in integrable systems and the classical Yang-Baxter equations. In this article, we study $\mathcal{O}$-operators on hom-Lie algebras. We define cochain complex for $\mathcal{O}$-operators on hom-Lie algebras with respect to a representation. Any $\mathcal{O}$-operator induces a hom-pre-Lie algebra structure. We express the cochain complex of an $\mathcal{O}$-operator in terms of certain hom-Lie algebra cochain complex of the sub-adjacent hom-Lie algebra associated with the induced h…
We define $\mathcal{O}$-operators on a Lie $\infty$-algebra $E$ with respect to an action of $E$ on another Lie $\infty$-algebra and we characterize them as Maurer-Cartan elements of a certain Lie $\infty$-algebra obtained by Voronov's higher derived brackets construction. The Lie $\infty$-algebra that controls the deformation of $\mathcal{O}$-operators with respect to a fixed action is determined.
The notion of $\mathcal{O}$-operators on modules over Lie algebras generalize Rota-Baxter operators. They also generalize Poisson structures on Lie algebras in the presence of modules. Motivated from Poisson structures, we define gauge transformations and reductions of $\mathcal{O}$-operators. Next we consider compatible $\mathcal{O}$-operators on modules over Lie algebras. We define $\mathcal{ON}$-structures which give rise to hierarchy of compatible $\mathcal{O}$-operators. We show that a solution of the strong Maurer-Cartan equation on a twilled Lie algebra associated to an $\mathcal{O}$-op…
