Liouville (super)integrability of a Hamiltonian system of differential equations is based on the existence of globally well-defined constants of the motion, while Lie point symmetries provide a local approach to conserved integrals. Therefore, it seems natural to investigate in which sense Lie point symmetries can be used to provide information concerning the superintegrability of a given Hamiltonian system. The two-dimensional oscillator and the central force problem are used as benchmark examples to show that the relationship between standard Lie point symmetries and superintegrability is neither straightforward nor universal. In general, it turns out that superintegrability is not related to either the size or the structure of the algebra of variational dynamical symmetries. Nevertheless, all of the first integrals for a given Hamiltonian system can be obtained through an extension of the standard point symmetry method, which is applied to a superintegrable nonlinear oscillator describing the motion of a particle on a space with non-constant curvature and spherical symmetry.
We study four particular 3-dimensional natural Hamiltonian systems defined in conformally Euclidean spaces. We prove their superintegrability and we obtain, in the four cases, the maximal number of functionally independent integrals of motion. The two first systems are related to the 3-dimensional isotropic oscillator and the superintegrability is quadratic. The third system is obtained as a continuous deformation of an oscillator with ratio of frequencies 1:1:2 and with three additional nonlinear terms of the form $k_2/x^2$, $k_3/y^2$ and $k_4/z^2$, and the fourth system is obtained as a defo…
The superintegrability of several Hamiltonian systems defined on three-dimensional configuration spaces of constant curvature is studied. We first analyze the properties of the Killing vector fields, Noether symmetries and Noether momenta. Then we study the superintegrability of the Harmonic Oscillator, the Smorodinsky-Winternitz (S-W) system and the Harmonic Oscillator with ratio of frequencies 1:1:2 and additional nonlinear terms on the 3-dimensional sphere $S^3$ ($\kp>0)$ and on the hyperbolic space $H^3$ ($\kp<0$). In the second part we present a study first of the Kepler problem and then …
Relation between the Virasoro constraints and KP integrability (determinant formulas) for matrix models is a lasting mystery. We elaborate on the claim that the situation is improved when integrability is enhanced to super-integrability, i.e. to explicit formulas for Gaussian averages of characters. In this case, the Virasoro constraints are equivalent to simple recursive formulas, which have appropriate combinations of characters as their solutions. Moreover, one can easily separate dependence on the size of matrix, and deduce superintegrability from the Virasoro constraints. We describe one …
A two-dimensional superintegrable system of singular oscillators with internal degrees of freedom is identified and exactly solved. Its symmetry algebra is seen to be the dual $-1$ Hahn algebra which describes the bispectral properties of the polynomials with the same name that are essentially the Clebsch-Gordan coefficients of the superconformal algebra $\mathfrak{osp}(1|2)$. It is also shown how this superintegrable model is obtained under dimensional reduction from a set of uncoupled harmonic oscillators in four dimensions.
This paper has studied the three-dimensional Dunkl oscillator models in a generalization of superintegrable Euclidean Hamiltonian systems to curved ones. These models are defined based on curved Hamiltonians, which depend on a deformation parameter of underlying space and involve reflection operators. Their symmetries are obtained by the Jordan-Schwinger representations in the family of the Cayley-Klein orthogonal algebras using the creation and annihilation operators of the dynamical $sl_{-1}(2)$ algebra of the one-dimensional Dunkl oscillator. The resulting algebra is a deformation of $so_{κ…

The formalism for Poisson-Hopf (PH) deformations of Lie-Hamilton systems is refined in one of its crucial points concerning applications, namely the obtention of effective and computationally feasible PH deformed superposition rules for prolonged PH deformations of Lie-Hamilton systems. The two new notions here proposed are a generalization of the standard superposition rules and the concept of diagonal prolongations for Lie systems, which are consistently recovered under the non-deformed limit. Using a technique from superintegrability theory, we obtain a maximal number of functionally indepe…
