In this work, a new concept of nonself total asymptotically nonexpansive mapping is introduced and an iterative process is considered for two nonself totally asymptotically nonexpansive mappings. Weak and strong convergence theorems for computing common fixed points of two nonself total asymptotically nonexpansive mappings are established in the framework of Banach spaces. Finally, we give an example which show that our theorems are applicable.
In this paper, a strong convergence theorem for asymptotically nonexpansive mappings in a uniformly convex and smooth Banach space is proved by using metric projections. This theorem extends and improves the recent strong convergence theorem due to Matsushita and Takahashi [ Appl. Math. Comput. 196 (2008) 422-425] which was established for nonexpansive mappings.

We show that if a Banach space X has the weak fixed point property for nonexpansive mappings and Y has the generalized Gossez-Lami Dozo property or is uniformly convex in every direction, then the direct sum of X and Y with a strictly monotone norm has the weak fixed point property. The result is new even if Y is finite-dimensional.

In this study, we introduce a new iterative processes to approximate common fixed points of an infinite family of quasi-nonexpansive mappings and obtain a strongly convergent iterative sequence to the common fixed points of these mappings in a uniformly convex Banach space. Also we prove that this process to approximate zeros of an infinite family of accretive operators and we obtain a strong convergence result for these operators. Our results improve and generalize many known results in the current literature.
We have derived that on certain Banach spaces having a graph structure $G$, the iterations for asymptotically $G$-nonexpansive map will converge weakly towards a fixed point. This result unifies and extends several theorems on fixed points proved by various authors for class of nonexpansive and asymptotically nonexpansive maps. As an application of this result, we derive that for maps satisfying the nonexpansive condition locally on special Banach spaces, the successive approximations converge weakly towards a fixed point.
In this paper, we present some common fixed point theorems for a commuting pair of mappings, including a generalized nonexpansive single valued mapping and a generalized nonexpansive multivalued mapping in strictly convex Banach spaces. In this paper, we prove the existence of fixed points of mappings satisfying the condition (Da), a kind of generalized nonexpansive mappings, on a weakly compact convex subset in a Banach space satisfying Opial's condition. And we use Sahu([6]) and Thakur([10])'s iterative scheme to establish several convergence theorems in uniformly convex Banach spaces and give an example to show that this scheme converges faster than the scheme in [1]
We show that the super fixed point property for nonexpansive mappings and for asymptotically nonexpansive mappings in the intermediate sense are equivalent. As a consequence, we obtain fixed point theorems for asymptotically nonexpansive mappings in uniformly nonsquare and uniformly noncreasy Banach spaces. The results are generalized for commuting families of asymptotically nonexpansive mappings.
It is shown that if $C$ is a nonempty convex and weakly compact subset of a Banach space $X$ with $M(X)>1$ and $T:C\rightarrow C$ satisfies condition $(C)$ or is continuous and satisfies condition $(C_λ)$ for some $λ\in (0,1)$, then $T$ has a fixed point. We give a rate of metastability for Halpern's iteration relative to a rate of metastability for the resolvent for nonexpansive mappings in uniformly smooth Banach spaces, extracted from a proof due to Xu. In Hilbert space, the latter is known, so we get an explicit rate of metastability. We also extract a rate of asymptotic regularity for general normed spaces. Such rates have already been extracted by Kohlenbach and Leuştean for different and incomparable conditions on $(λ_n)$. Alternative iterative methods for a nonexpansive mapping in a Banach space are proposed and proved to be convergent to a common solution to a fixed point problem and a variational inequality. We give rates of asymptotic regularity for such iterations using proof-theoretic techniques. Some applications of the convergence results are presented.
We introduce and investigate an iterative scheme for approximating common fixed point of a family of Bregman relatively-nonexpansive mappings in real reflexive Banach spaces. We prove strong convergence theorem of the sequence generated by our scheme under some appropriate conditions. Furthermore, our scheme and results unify some known results obtained in this direction.
In this paper, we first introduce an iterative process in modular function spaces and then extend the idea of a λ-firmly nonexpansive mapping from Banach spaces to modular function spaces. We call such mappings as (λ,ρ)-firmly nonexpansive mappings. We incorporate the two ideas to approximate fixed points of (λ,ρ)-firmly nonexpansive mappings using the above mentioned iterative process in modular function spaces. Let $(X,\|.\|)$ be a Banach space. Let $C$ be a nonempty, bounded, closed, and convex subset of $X$ and $T: C \rightarrow C$ be a $G$-monotone nonexpansive mapping. In this work, it is shown that the Mann iteration sequence defined by $$x_{n+1} = t_n T(x_n) + (1-t_n)x_n, \, n = 1, 2, \cdots$$ can be proved the existence of a fixed point of $G$-monotone nonexpansive mappings.
It is shown that if $S$ is a commuting family of weak$^{\ast }$ continuous nonexpansive mappings acting on a weak$^{\ast }$ compact convex subset $C$ of the dual Banach space $E$, then the set of common fixed points of $S$ is a nonempty nonexpansive retract of $C$. This partially solves a long-standing open problem in metric fixed point theory in the case of commutative semigroups.
Weak and strong convergence of an implicit iterative process with errors for a finite family of asymptotically quasi $I-$nonexpansive mappings in Banach space

Let $S$ be a semitopological semigroup, and let $C$ be a nonempty closed convex subset of a reflexive Banach space. Under some amenability conditions on $S$, we provide existence results of fixed points for several Bregman nonexpansive type actions $S\times C\to C$, $(s,x)\mapsto T_s x$, of $S$ on $C$. The mappings $T_s$ we discuss include those being Bregman generalized hybrid, Bregman nonspreading, and Bregman left asymptotically nonexpansive.
We consider a class of generalized nonexpansive mappings introduced by Karapinar [5] and seen as a generalization of Suzuki (C)-condition. We prove some weak and strong convergence theorems for approximating fixed points of such mappings under suitable conditions in uniformly convex Banach spaces. Our results generalize those of Khan and Suzuki [4] to the case of this kind of mappings and, in turn, are related to a famous convergence theorem of Reich [2] on nonexpansive mappings.
In this paper, we introduce a new class of Bregman generalized $α$-nonexpansive mappings in terms of Bregman distances, and investigate the Ishikawa and Noor iterations for these mappings. We establish weak and strong convergence theorems of Ishikawa and Noor iterative schemes for Bregman generalized $α$-nonexpansive mappings in Banach spaces. Furthermore, we propose an example of our generated mapping and some numerical examples which support our main theorem. Our results are new and improve the recent ones in the literature.
The main objective of this article is to provide an alternative approach to the central result of [Eldred, A. Anthony, Kirk, W. A., Veeramani, P., Proximal normal structure and relatively nonexpansive mappings, Studia Math., vol 171(3), (2005) 283-293] using proximal uniform normal structure. Also we provide characterizations of a strictly convex space. Finally, sufficient conditions for the existence of a non-empty proximal sub-pair for a pair in a Banach space are discussed.
In this paper, using sunny generalized nonexpansive retraction, we propose new extragradient and linesearch algorithms for finding a common element of the set of solutions of an equilibrium problem and the set of fixed points of a relatively nonexpansive mapping in Banach spaces. To prove strong convergence of iterates in the extragradient method, we introduce a $ϕ$-Lipschitz-type condition and assume that the equilibrium bifunction satisfies in this condition. Let $S$ be a right reversible semitopological semigroup, and let $\operatorname{LUC}(S)$ be the space of left uniformly continuous functions on $S$. Suppose that $\operatorname{LUC}(S)$ has a left invariant mean. Let $K$ be a weakly compact convex subset of a Banach space. We show that there always exists a common fixed point for any jointly weakly continuous and super asymptotically nonexpansive action of $S$ on $K$. Several variances involving the weak* compactness, the RNP, the distality of $K$ and/or the left reversibility of $S$ are also provided.
In this paper, the Pazy's Fixed Point Theorems of monotone $α-$nonexpansive mapping $T$ are proved in a uniformly convex Banach space $E$ with the partial order "$\leq$". The aim of this paper is to establish strong convergence theorems for a strongly relatively nonexpansive sequence in a smooth and uniformly convex Banach space. Then we employ our results to approximate solutions of the zero point problem for a maximal monotone operator and the fixed point problem for a relatively nonexpansive mapping.
We construct a nonexpansive linear operator on the Gurarii space that "captures" all nonexpansive linear operators between separable Banach spaces. Some additional properties involving its restrictions to finite-dimensional subspaces describe this operator uniquely up to an isometry.
Let $C$ be a nonempty closed and convex subset of a uniformly smooth and uniformly convex real Banach space $E$ with dual space $E^*$. We present a novel hybrid method for finding a common solution of a family of equilibrium problems, a common solution of a family of variational inequality problems and a common element of fixed points of a family of a general class of nonlinear nonexpansive maps. We show that our iteration process is faster than the existing leading iteration processes like Picard-S iteration process, Thakur New iteration process and Vatan Twostep iteration process for contraction mappings.
