Bregman nonexpansive type actions of semitopological semigroups

Let $S$ be a semitopological semigroup, and let $C$ be a nonempty closed convex subset of a reflexive Banach space. Under some amenability conditions on $S$, we provide existence results of fixed points for several Bregman nonexpansive type actions $S\times C\to C$, $(s,x)\mapsto T_s x$, of $S$ on $C$. The mappings $T_s$ we discuss include those being Bregman generalized hybrid, Bregman nonspreading, and Bregman left asymptotically nonexpansive.

Fixed point theorems of various nonexpansive actions of semitopological semigroups on weakly/weak* compact convex sets

Let $S$ be a right reversible semitopological semigroup, and let $\operatorname{LUC}(S)$ be the space of left uniformly continuous functions on $S$. Suppose that $\operatorname{LUC}(S)$ has a left invariant mean. Let $K$ be a weakly compact convex subset of a Banach space. We show that there always exists a common fixed point for any jointly weakly continuous and super asymptotically nonexpansive action of $S$ on $K$. Several variances involving the weak* compactness, the RNP, the distality of $K$ and/or the left reversibility of $S$ are also provided.

Super Asymptotically Nonexpansive Actions of Semitopological Semigroups on Frechet and Locally Convex Spaces

Approximating Fixed points of Bregman Generalized $α$-nonexpansive mappings

In this paper, we introduce a new class of Bregman generalized $α$-nonexpansive mappings in terms of Bregman distances, and investigate the Ishikawa and Noor iterations for these mappings. We establish weak and strong convergence theorems of Ishikawa and Noor iterative schemes for Bregman generalized $α$-nonexpansive mappings in Banach spaces. Furthermore, we propose an example of our generated mapping and some numerical examples which support our main theorem. Our results are new and improve the recent ones in the literature.

An iterative algorithm for a common fixed point of Bregman Relatively Nonexpansive Mappings

We introduce and investigate an iterative scheme for approximating common fixed point of a family of Bregman relatively-nonexpansive mappings in real reflexive Banach spaces. We prove strong convergence theorem of the sequence generated by our scheme under some appropriate conditions. Furthermore, our scheme and results unify some known results obtained in this direction.

Amenable semigroups of nonexpansive mappings on weakly compact convex sets

We show a few fixed point theorems for semigroups acting on weakly compact convex subsets of Banach spaces when $LUC(S), AP(S), WAP(S)$ or $WAP(S)\cap LUC(S)$ have a left invariant mean. A Bregman projection method for approximating fixed points of quasi-Bregman nonexpansive mappings

We introduce an abstract algorithm that aims to find the Bregman projection onto a closed convex set. As an application, the asymptotic behaviour of an iterative method for finding a fixed point of a quasi Bregman nonexpansive mapping with the fixed-point closedness property is analyzed. We also show that our result is applicable to Bregman subgradient projectors.

Amenable semigroups and nonexpansive dynamical systems

We characterize amenability of subspaces of $C(S)$, where $S$ is a semitopological semigroup, in terms of fixed point properties of nonexpansive actions. Fixed point properties and Q-nonexpansive retractions in locally convex spaces

Suppose that Q is a family of seminorms on a locally convex space E which determines the topology of E. We study the existence of Q-nonexpansive retractions for families of Q-nonexpansive mappings and prove that a separated and sequentially complete locally convex space $E$ that has the weak fixed point property, has the weak fixed point property for commuting separable semitopological semigroups of Q-nonexpansive mappings. Fixed point properties for semigroups of nonlinear mappings and amenability

In this paper we study fixed point properties for semitopological semigroup of nonexpansive mappings on a bounded closed convex subset of a Banach space. We also study a Schauder fixed point property for a semitopological semigroup of continuous mappings on a compact convex subset of a separated locally convex space. Such semigroups properly include the class of extremely left amenable semitopological semigroups, the free commutative semigroup on one generator and the bicyclic semigroup $S_1 = < a, b: ab = 1 >$.

Fixed point properties for semigroups of nonlinear mappings on unbounded sets
