Dynamics of an anisotropic universe is studied in $f(R,T)$ gravity using a rescaled functional $f(R,T)$. Three models have been constructed assuming a power law expansion of the universe. Physical features of the models are discussed. The model parameters are constrained from a dimensional analysis. It is found from the work that, the $BVI_h$ model in the modified gravity can favour quintessence and phantom phase.
In this paper we investigate the fate of the universe with an anisotropic background sourced by anisotropic matter. We see the behaviour of the Raychaudhuri Equation and investigate wheather a congrurence of time like geodesics focus to a point in a universe with Bianchi I background which is dictated by anisotropic sources like cosmic strings, domain walls, magnetic field and lorentz violating magnetic field each separately. Thus, Focussing theorem has been checked both for initially contracting and diverging universe with each of these anisotropic sources.
Plane symmetric bulk viscous string cosmological models with strange quark matter are investigated. We have incorporated bulk viscous pressure to study its affect on the properties of the model. Assuming an anisotropic relationship among the metric potentials, we have tried to put some constraints on the anisotropic parameter.

We study Bianchi type $I$ cosmological model in the presence of magnetized anisotropic dark energy. The energy-momentum tensor consists of anisotropic fluid with anisotropic EoS $p=ωρ$ and a uniform magnetic field of energy density $ρ_B$. We obtain exact solutions to the field equations using the condition that expansion is proportional to the shear scalar. The physical behavior of the model is discussed with and without magnetic field. We present a general study of the dynamical properties of Anisotropic Bianchi Universes in the context of Einstein General Relativity. We show the existence of spatially homogeneous but anisotropic cosmological models whose cosmic microwave background temperature is exactly isotropic at one instant of time but whose rate of expansion is highly anisotropic. The existence of these models shows that the observation of a highly isotropic cosmic microwave background temperature cannot alone be used to infer that the universe is close to a Friedmann-Lemaitre model.
Here we study an anisotropic model of the universe with constant energy per particle. A decaying cosmological constant and particle production in an adiabatic process are considered as the sources for the entropy. The statefinder parameters $\{r,s\}$ are defined and their behaviour are analyzed graphically in some cases.

This paper is devoted to study Bianchi type I cosmological model in Brans-Dicke theory with self-interacting potential by using perfect, anisotropic and magnetized anisotropic fluids. We assume that the expansion scalar is proportional to the shear scalar and also take power law ansatz for scalar field. The physical behavior of the resulting models are discussed through different parameters. We conclude that in contrary to the universe model, the anisotropic fluid approaches to isotropy at later times in all cases which is consistent with observational data.

In this paper, we develop a method based on the analysis of the Kovalewski exponents to study the integrability of anisotropic and homogeneous Universes. The formalism is developed in scalar-tensor gravity, the general relativistic case appearing as a special case of this larger framework. Then, depending on the rationality of the Kovalewski exponents, the different models, both in the vacuum and in presence of a barotropic matter fluid, are classified, and their integrability is discussed.
The present work is devoted to investigate the Noether symmetries of the locally rotationally symmetric Bianchi type I space time in $f(T,B)$ gravity theory which depends on the torsion scalar $T$ and the boundary term $B$. In this theory, we consider some particular models and investigate their Noether symmetry generators. Besides, we get exact cosmological solutions of the considering models including the matter dominant universe using the Noether symmetry technique. The obtained results are coincide with the accelerated expansion behaviour of the universe.

We study gravitational waves propagating through an anisotropic Bianchi I dust-filled universe (containing the Einstein-de-Sitter universe as a special case). The waves are modeled as small perturbations of this background cosmological model and we choose a family of null hypersurfaces in this space-time to act as the histories of the wavefronts of the radiation. We find that the perturbations we generate can describe pure gravitational radiation if and only if the null hypersurfaces are shear-free. Bianchi type V and IX models are discussed following Schutz's method of expressing fluid velocities in terms of six potentials. As opposed to Wald's cosmic no-hair theorem in general relativity, it is shown that the Horndeski theory (and its generalization) admits anisotropic inflationary attractors if the Lagrangian depends cubically on the second derivatives of the scalar field. We dub such a solution as a self-anisotropizing inflationary universe because anisotropic inflation can occur without introducing any anisotropic matter fields such as a vector field. As a concrete example of self-anisotropization we present the dynamics of a Bianchi type-I universe in the Horndeski theory.

In this paper we introduce a LTB-Bianchi I (plane symmetric) model of Universe. We study and solve Einstein field equations. We investigate the effects of such model of Universe in particular these results are important in understanding the effect of the combined presence of an inhomogeneous and anisotropic Universe. In this work, Emergent Universe scenario has been developed in general homogeneous anisotropic model and for the inhomogeneus LTB model.
