The meson $X(3872)$ and several related states appear to be, at least in part, hadronic molecules in which a heavy flavored meson (such as $D^0$) is bound to another heavy meson (such as $\bar D^{*0}$). Although not the only effect contributing to the binding, pion exchange seems to play a crucial role in generating the longest-range force between constituents. Mesons without $u$ and $d$ light quarks (such as $D_s$) cannot exchange pions, but under suitable circumstances can bind as a result of $η$ exchange. Channels in which this mechanism is possible are identified, and suggestions are made for searches for the corresponding molecular states, including a manifestly exotic baryonic $Λ_c \bar D_s^*$ resonance decaying into $J/ψ~Λ$.
We point out that the new exotic resonances recently reported by LHCb in the $J/ψp$ channel are excellent candidates for photoproduction off a proton target. This test is crucial to confirming the resonant nature of such states, as opposed to their being kinematical effects. We specialize to an interpretation of the heavier narrow state as a molecule composed of $Σ_c$ and $\bar D^*$, and estimate its production cross section using vector dominance. The relevant photon energies and fluxes are well within the capabilities of the GlueX and CLAS12 detectors at Thomas Jefferson National Accelerator…
We analyze the process $\vec γ+p\to ρ^0 π^{+}n$ at low momentum transfer focusing on a possibility of production of an exotic $J^{PC}=1^{-+}$ meson state. In particular we discuss polarization observables and conclude that linear photon polarization is instrumental for separating of the exotic wave.
Evidences and hints, both from the theoretical and experimental side, of exotic baryon resonances with B=S, have been with us for the last thirty years. The poor status of the general acceptance of these Z* resonances is partly due to the prejudice against penta-quark baryons and partly due to the opinion that a proof of the existence of exotic states must be rigorous. This can refer to the quality and amount of data gathered, and also to the analytical methods applied in the study of these resonances. It seems then mandatory that all possibilities and aspects be exploited. We do that by analy…
We classify the meson and baryon long lived resonances considering quarks with electric charge 5/3 and $-4/3$ (in units of $\vert e\vert$) predicted by some 3-3-1 models. Some of these exotic resonances have the usual electric charges $0,\pm1$, others have $\pm(3,4,5)$, and the lightest ones decaying only into leptons plus known resonances. We propose another heavy $SU(3)_H$ global symmetry under which hadrons involving only exotic quarks can be constructed.
Using large $N_c$ counting rule, it is argued that tetra-quark resonances do not exist. Also it is pointed out that there exists the violation of exchange degeneracy in the exotic $KN$ scattering channel. It implies either the failure of resonance saturation assumption or it suggests the existence of exotic baryon resonances in such a channel.
The exotic J^{PC}= 1^{-+} resonance π_{1}(1600)is examined in the framework of the Quark Model with Constituent Gluon (QMCG). We report the possibility of interpreting that resonance as quark-antiquark-gluon hybrid meson, with a masse = 1.65+0.05-0.04 GeV and a rho-pi decay width = 0.28+0.14-0.09 GeV.
We investigate the possibility that the light-mass exotic mesons with J^PC=1^-+ observed at BNL and CERN may be resonances in the eta-pi and eta'-pi systems associated with the anomalous glue which generates the eta' mass in QCD.
We consider the effect of an exotic S=+1 $Θ^+$ resonance on the scattering of neutral kaons off protons. Explicit results are presented for the $K^0_L p$ total cross sections.
A selection of results for searches for exotic physics at the LHC are presented. These include a search for massive resonances, dark matter with a high energy jet in association with large missing transverse momentum, long-lived neutral particles, and narrow dijet resonances. The results are based on 20/fb of LHC proton-proton collisions at sqrt(s) = 8 TeV taken with the CMS detector.
We predict several new exotic doubly-heavy hadronic resonances, inferring from the observed exotic bottomonium-like and charmonium-like narrow states $X(3872)$, $Z_b(10610)$, $Z_b(10650)$, $Z_c(3900)$, and $Z_c(4020/4025)$. We interpret the binding mechanism as mostly molecular-like isospin-exchange attraction between two heavy-light mesons in a relative S-wave state. We then generalize it to other systems containing two heavy hadrons which can couple through isospin exchange. The new predicted states include resonances in meson-meson, meson-baryon, baryon-baryon, and baryon-antibaryon channel…
The COMPASS experiment at CERN delivers new results on the search for exotic mesons. A spin-exotic resonance, the $π_1(1600)$, was reported by several experiments in the past. Those observations are, however, still to date highly disputed in the community. Especially the $ρπ$ decay channel allows for simultaneous observation of well established and less known resonances in different decay modes. The results from amplitude analysis of diffractively produced $(3π)^{-}$ final states show consistently a spin-exotic signal, that appears in agreement with previous observations of the $π_1(1600)$. Th…
Given the growing evidence for an exotic S = +1 resonance, seen in kaon, photon and neutrino induced reactions, we reexamine the existing K+p and K+d database in order to understand how such a state could have been missed in previous studies. The lack of structure in this database implies a width of an MeV or less, assuming a state exists near 1540 MeV.
Highlights in the search for nonconventional (non qqbar) meson states are the pi_1(1400) and pi_1(1600) exotic candidates. Should they exist, mounting theoretical arguments suggest that they are tetraquark molecular resonances excitable by meson rescattering. We report a new tetraquark calculation within a model field theory approximation to Quantum Chromodynamics in the Coulomb gauge supporting this conjecture. We also strengthen this claim by consistently contrasting results with exotic state predictions for hybrid (q qbar g) mesons within the same theoretical framework. Our findings confirm…
Many new states in the charmonium and bottomonium mass region were recently discovered by the BaBar, Belle and CDF Collaborations. We use the QCD Sum Rule approach to study the possible structure of some of these states. In particular we identify the recently observed bottomonium-like resonance $Z_b^+(10610)$ with the first excitation of the tetraquark $X_b(1^{++})$, the analogue of the X(3872) state in the charm sector.
Baryon resonance state with strangeness $S = +1$ observed in systems $p K^0$ and $n K^+$ is interpreted as a result of the decay $N^{*+} \to p η$ of the well-known resonance $N^*(1535)$ (with spin-parity $j^P = {1/2}^-$ and mass $m \approx 1.54$ GeV) and the subsequent oscillation $η\rightleftarrows K^0$. It is argued that the latter is noticeably enhanced by the neighbourhood of the $η$ and $K^0$ levels and the gluon exchanges of the "penguin" form.
If the number of colors Nc is taken large, baryons and their excitations can be considered in a mean-field approach. We argue that the mean field in baryons breaks spontaneously the spherical and SU(3) flavor symmetries, but retains the SU(2) symmetry of simultaneous rotations in space and isospace. The one-quark and quark-hole excitations in the mean field, together with the SU(3) rotational bands about them determine the spectrum of baryon resonances, which turns out to be in satisfactory accordance with reality when one puts Nc=3. A by-product of this scheme is a confirmation of the light p…
We outline how one can understand the Skyrme model from the modern perspective. We review the quantization of the SU(3) rotations of the Skyrmion, leading to the exotic baryons that cannot be made of three quarks. It is shown that in the limit of large number of colours the lowest-mass exotic baryons can be studied from the kaon-Skyrmion scattering amplitudes, an approach known after Callan and Klebanov. We follow this approach and find, both analytically and numerically, a strong Theta+ resonance in the scattering amplitude that is traced to the rotational mode. The Skyrme model does predict …
Conventionally invariant mass or transverse momentum techniques have been used to probe for any formation of some exotic or unusual resonance states in high energy collision. In this work, we have applied symmetry scaling based complex network approach to study exotic resonance/hadronic states utilizing the clustering coefficients and associated scaling parameter extracted with the complex network based technique of Visibility Graph. We have analyzed the data of Pb-Pb collision data sample at 2.76 TeV from ALICE Collaboration and analyzed different patterns of symmetry scaling, scale-freeness,…
The decay $D^0 \to π^+ π^- π^0$ appears to be dominated by $ρπ$ states in a configuration of zero total isotopic spin. The spin $J$, parity $P$, and charge-conjugation eigenvalue $C$ of this final state are therefore $J^{PC} = 0^{--}$, which cannot be formed of a quark $q$ and antiquark $\bar q$. If a resonance near $M(D^0)$ dominates the final state, it must be a {\it hybrid} composed of a quark-antiquark pair and a constituent gluon, or a {\it tetraquark} $q q \bar q \bar q$. A test for this resonance in electroproduction is proposed.
A simple model for the exotic waves with $I^G(J^{PC})=1^-(1^{-+})$ in the reactions $VP\to VP$, $VP\to PP$, and $PP\to PP$ is constructed beyond the scope of the quark-gluon approach. The model satisfies unitarity and analyticity and uses as a "priming" the "anomalous" nondiagonal $VPPP$ interaction which couples together the four channels $ρπ$, $ηπ$, $η'π$, and $K^*\bar K+\bar K^*K$. The possibility of the resonancelike behavior of the $I^G(J^{PC})=1^-(1^{-+})$ amplitudes belonging to the $\{10\}- \{\bar{10}\}$ and $\{8\}$ representations of SU(3) as well as their mixing is demonstrated expli…
The infinite chain of transitions of one pair of mesons (channel I) into another pair of mesons (channel II) can produce bound states and resonances in both channels even if no interactions inside channels exist. These resonances which can occur also in meson-baryon channels are called channel-coupling (CC) resonances. A new mechanism of CC resonances is proposed where transitions occur due to a rearrangement of confining strings inside each channel -- the recoupling mechanism. The amplitude of this recoupling mechanism is expressed via overlap integrals of the wave functions of participating …
Since all couplings of the exotic $Θ^+$ baryon to normal hadrons seem to be small it is hard to reveal it in standard resonance searching. We suggest to look for the $Θ^+$ production in interference with a known resonance yielding the same final state but having a high production rate. The interference process is linear in the $Θ^+$ couplings whereas the non-interference process is quadratic. That gives an obvious gain if the couplings are small. Moreover, employing the peculiar oscillating nature of the interference processes one can reduce considerably the parasitic background and determine …
The resonances, containing $c\bar c$ plus $s\bar s$ (or light $q\bar q$) quarks in the mass region $(3900-4700)$ MeV, are analyzed in the relativistic strong coupling theory, with and without channel coupling phenomena. The conventional charmonium spectrum is presented, being calculated with the relativistic string Hamiltonian, which does not contain fitting parameters, while for high excitations the universal flattened confining potential is used. It is shown that $X(4274),X(4500),X(4700)$ can be identified as $3\,^3P_1, 4\,^3P_0, 5\,^3P_0$ states. The exotic states are considered using the c…
The existence of a light S=+1 baryon resonance follows from Quantum Field Theory applied to baryons. This is illustrated in the Skyrme model (where Theta+ exists but is too strong) and in a new mean field approach where Theta+ arises as a consequence of three known resonances: Lambda(1405), N(1440) and N(1535).
We present a robust analysis of the $η^{(\prime)} π$ system in COMPASS data. We fit the extracted relative phases and intensities with a coupled-channel formalism enforcing both unitarity and analyticity. We provide a robust extraction of a single exotic $π_1(1600)$ decaying to both $η^{(\prime)} π$ final states, and the resonance parameters of the $a_2(1320)$ and $a'_2(1700)$. We find no evidence for a second exotic state, which is compatible with recent Lattice QCD estimates.
The effect of the pion exchange on the line shape of near threshold bottomoniumlike resonances decaying into an $S$ wave pair of $B^{(*)}$ mesons is considered. It is pointed out that this effect, parametrically enhanced by the heavy meson mass, can be of a practical significance in determining the parameters of the bottomoniumlike resonances such as the known $Z_b(10610)$ and $Z_b(10650)$ states.
An overview over recent spectroscopy results in comparison with data is given. We focus on the exotica Z_b(10610), Z_b(10650) and Y_b(10890) in the bottom sector and discuss a possible connection to the exotica in the charm sector, namely to the resonances Y_c(4260) and Z_c(3900). Furthermore, future prospects for the determination of the nature of Y_b(10890) are outlined.
The mass and meson-current coupling constant of the resonance $X(5568)$, as well as the width of the decay $X(5568)\to B_s^{\ast}π$ are calculated by modeling the exotic $X(5568)$ resonance as a diquark-antidiquark state $% X_b=[su][bd]$ with quantum numbers $J^{P}=1^{+}$. The calculations are made employing QCD two-point sum rule method, where the quark, gluon and mixed vacuum condensates up to dimension eight are taken into account. The sum rule approach on the light-cone in its soft-meson approximation is used to explore the vertex $X_bB_{s}^{\ast}π$ and extract the strong coupling $% g_{X_…
The tree-level partonic angular distribution of Standard Model $Wγ$ production possesses a feature known as the Radiation Amplitude Zero (RAZ) where destructive interference causes the cross section to vanish. At the proton level the exact cancellation disappears, however, one can find a dip in the central region of the angular distributions, here called the Radiation Valley (RV). In this paper, we show how the sensitivity for $W(\ellν)γ$ resonances can be significantly improved if one focuses on events in the RV region. Using this technique, we find that the LHC could probe a larger range of …
The ATLAS collaboration (and also CMS) has recently reported an excess over Standard Model expectations for gauge boson pair production in the invariant mass region $1.8-2.2$ TeV. In the light of these results, we argue that such signal might be the first manifestation of the production and further decay of a heavy CP-even Higgs resulting from a type-I Two Higgs Doublet Model. We demonstrate that in the presence of colored vector-like fermions, its gluon fusion production cross-section is strongly enhanced, with the enhancement depending on the color representation of the new fermion states. O…
Many charmonium-like and bottomonium-like $XYZ$ resonances have been observed by the Belle, Babar, CLEO and BESIII collaborations in the past decade. They are difficult to fit in the conventional quark model and thus are considered as candidates of exotic hadrons, such as multi-quark states, meson molecules, and hybrids. In this talk, we first briefly introduce the method of QCD sum rules and then provide a short review of the mass spectra of the quarkonium-like tetraquark states and the heavy quarkonium hybrids in the QCD sum rules approach. Possible interpretations of the $XYZ$ resonances ar…
Non-exotic scalar-meson resonances in S-wave meson-meson scattering are studied in the light of a unitarised Schroedinger model. The resulting poles in the scattering matrices, by analytical continuation into the complex-energy plane, are grouped into nonets of isoscalar, isodoublet, and isotriplet resonances. All singularities can be related to quark-antiquark confinement states, the light-quark nonet of which has ground states at 1.3 to 1.4 GeV and level spacings of some 300-400 MeV, except for a nonet of light scalar mesons below 1 GeV. All non-exotic S-wave resonances reported by experimen…
We investigate the impact of the Θ^+(1540) resonance on differential and integrated cross sections for the reaction K^+d{\to}K^0pp, where experimental information is available at kaon momenta below 640 MeV/c. The calculation utilizes the Jülich KN model and extensions of it that include contributions from a Θ^+(1540) state with different widths. The evaluation of the reaction K^+d{\to}K^0pp takes into account effects due to the Fermi motion of the nucleons within the deuteron and the final three-body kinematics. We conclude that the available data constrain the width of the Θ^+(1540) to be les…
We review the open-charm spectrum of chiral excitations in QCD. At leading order in a chiral expansion a parameter-free prediction is obtained for the coupled-channel scattering of Goldstone bosons off open-charm mesons and baryons with 0^-,1^- and {1/2}^+ quantum numbers. The recently announced narrow D_s(2317) and $D_s(2463)$ mesons observed by the BABAR and CLEO collaborations are reproduced. Also the baryon states Λ_{c}(2593), Λ_{c}(2880) and Ξ_{c}(2790) discovered earlier by the CLEO collaboration are recovered naturally. Besides describing resonances with conventional quantum numbers add…
The exclusive processes are considered, where a point-like source of heavy quark-antiquark pairs $Q \bar Q$, e.g. their electromagnetic current, produces a pair consisting of a heavy quarkoniumlike exotic meson (tetraquark) or baryon (pentaquark) and a light meson or an antibaryon. For a sufficiently large mass of the heavy quark $m_Q$ there is a range of the energy $E$ above the $Q \bar Q$ threshold, where $E \ll m_Q$ and still the energy is large compared to the strong interaction scale, $E \gg Λ_{QCD}$. It is shown that in this energy range, where the heavy quarks are nonrelelativistic, a s…
We perform a statistical combination of the ATLAS and CMS results for the search of a heavy resonance decaying to a pair of vector bosons with the $\sqrt{s}=8$ TeV datasets collected at the LHC. We take into account six searches in hadronic and semileptonic final states carried out by the two collaborations. We consider only public information provided by ATLAS and CMS in the HEPDATA database and in papers published in refereed journals. We interpret the combined results within the context of a few benchmark new physics models, such as models predicting the existence of a {\ensuremath{\mathrm{…
We discuss a coupled channel analysis of the $ηπ$ and $η'π$ systems produced in $π^-p$ interactions at 18 GeV/$c$. We show that known $Q\bar Q$ resonances, together with residual soft meson-meson rescattering, saturate the spectra including the exotic $J^{PC}=1^{-+}$ channel. A possibility of a narrow exotic resonance at a mass near 1.6 GeV/$c^2$ cannot, however, be ruled out.
After explaining necessity of exotic hadrons, we discuss mechanisms which could determine production of the exotic Theta-baryon. A possible important role of resonances (producing the Theta in real or virtual decays) is emphasized for various processes. Several experimental directions for studies of such resonances, and the Theta itself, are suggested. We briefly discuss also recent negative results on the Theta-baryon.
The Monte Carlo for lepton pair production andtau decays consist of KKMC for lepton pair production, tauola for tau lepton decays and photos for radiative corrections in decays. An effort for adaptation of the system for precision data being collected at the Belle II experiment included simulation of additional light lepton pairs. Extension to processes where lepton pair is produced through narrow resonances, like dark photon or dark scalar phi resonances, was straight forward. Modified programs versions are available in stand-alone format from gitlab repository or through the basf2 system of …
Exploring the hadronic phase with momentum and azimuthal distribution of short-lived resonances and understanding the internal structure of exotic resonances with ALICE
Very recently we proposed a predictive 2 Higgs Doublet Model with $S_{3}$ flavour symmetry that successfully accounts for fermion masses and mixings. In this letter, motivated by the $750$ GeV Higgs diphoton resonance recently reported by the ATLAS and CMS collaborations, we modify this model by adding exotic top partners with electric charge $\frac{5}{3}$ and a electrically charged scalar singlet. These exotic top partners decay into a charged scalar singlet and the SM up type quarks, whereas the charged scalar singlet will mainly decay into SM up and down type quarks. This simple modificatio…
New resonances with masses of order a few ${\rm TeV}$ might be discovered at the LHC. We show that no resonance that couples to electrons only through Standard Model interactions can decay to both $e^+e^-$and $γγ$ with significant branching ratios. This means that finding both electron-positron and two-photon final states is evidence that electrons couple directly to the new physics associated with the resonance and furthermore that the resonance is not spin-1. The least fine-tuned such examples involve electron compositeness. One such example, Kaluza Klein excitations of the graviton in the v…
We try to motivate from QCD a pattern of production in various reactions of (non)exotic resonances. A higher penalty for extra q\bar{q} production in e^+ e^- collisions than in collisions with a nucleon target may explain the absence of exotic multi-quark states in e^+ e^- . We also briefly address the doubly-charmed baryons and the utilization of QCD inequalities in connection with possible new hadronic states.
We present a theoretical estimate for the cross-section of exclusive $ρ^+ρ^-$ and $ρ^0ρ^0$-meson production in two photon collisions when one of the initial photons is highly virtual. We focus on the discussion of the twist 4 contributions which are related to the production of an exotic isospin 2 resonance of two $ρ$ mesons. Our analysis shows that the recent experimental data obtained by the L3 Collaboration at LEP can be understood as a signal for the existence of an exotic isotensor resonance with a mass around $1.5 {\rm GeV}$.
Several methods for studying the nature of a resonance are applied to resonances recently discovered in the bottonomium and charmonium sectors. We employ the effective-range expansion, the saturation of the width and compositeness of a resonance, as well as direct fits to data. The latter stem from generic $S$-matrix parameterization that account for relevant dynamical features associated to channels that couple strongly in an energy region around the resonance masses, in which their thresholds also lie. We report on results obtained with these methods for the resonances $Z_b(10610)$, $Z_b(106…
New dynamics from hidden sectors may manifest as long-range forces between visible matter particles. The well-known case of Yukawa-like potentials occurs via the exchange of a single virtual particle. However, more exotic behavior is also possible. We present three classes of exotic potentials that are generated by relativistic theories: (i) quantum forces from the loop-level exchange of two virtual particles, (ii) conformal forces from a conformal sector, and (iii) emergent forces from degrees of freedom that only exist in the infrared regime of the theory. We discuss the complementarity of s…
The QCD sum rule approach is employed in order to study chiral properties of positive- and negative-parity nucleon resonances. It is pointed out that nucleons with an ``exotic'' chiral property, which can be represented by local five-quark operators, can be paired with a standard nucleon forming a single chiral multiplet. The sum rules of the five-quark operators, however, are shown not to couple strongly to chirally-``exotic'' nucleon resonances at the mass region of less than 2 GeV.
The existence of an exotic long-lived negatively charged massive particle, i.e., X-, during big bang nucleosynthesis can affect primordial light element abundances. Especially, the final abundance of 7Li, mainly originating from the electron capture of 7Be, has been suggested to reduce by the 7Be destruction via the radiative X- capture of 7Be followed by the radiative proton capture of the bound state of 7Be and X- (7BeX). We suggest a new route of 7BeX formation, that is the 7Be charge exchange at the reaction of 7Be3+ ion and X-. The formation rate depends on the number fraction of 7Be3+ io…
Recent results on meson spectroscopy from lattice QCD are reviewed. The emphasis is on interesting states near thresholds like $Z_c^+(3900)$, $X(3872)$ and $D_{s0}^*(2317)$. Another focus is on the meson resonances in light, strange and charm sector, where the resonance masses as well as the strong decay widths are extracted from the lattice.
We present the first determination of the hadronic decays of the lightest exotic $J^{PC}=1^{-+}$ resonance in lattice QCD. Working with SU(3) flavor symmetry, where the up, down and strange quark masses approximately match the physical strange-quark mass giving $m_π\sim 700$ MeV, we compute finite-volume spectra on six lattice volumes which constrain a scattering system featuring eight coupled channels. Analytically continuing the scattering amplitudes into the complex energy plane, we find a pole singularity corresponding to a narrow resonance which shows relatively weak coupling to the open …
Inspired by the recent observation of $χ_{c0}(3930)$, $X(4685)$ and $X(4630)$ by the LHCb Collaboration and some exotic resonances such as $X(4350)$, $X(4500)$, etc. by several experiment collaborations, the $cs\bar{c}\bar{s}$ tetraquark systems with $IJ^{P}=00^+$, $01^+$ and $02^+$ are systematically investigated in the framework of the quark delocalization color screening model(QDCSM). Two structures, the meson-meson and diquark-antidiquark structures, as well as the channel-coupling of all channels of these two configurations are considered in this work. The numerical results indicate that …
Fully-heavy tetraquark states, i.e. $cc\bar{c}\bar{c}$, $bb\bar{b}\bar{b}$, $bb\bar{c}\bar{c}$ ($cc\bar{b}\bar{b}$), $cb\bar{c}\bar{c}$, $cb\bar{b}\bar{b}$, and $cb\bar{c}\bar{b}$, are systematically investigated by means of a non-relativistic quark model based on lattice-QCD studies of the two-body $Q\bar{Q}$ interaction, which exhibits a spin-independent Cornell potential along with a spin-spin term. The four-body problem is solved using the Gaussian expansion method; additionally, the so-called complex scaling technique is employed so that bound, resonance, and scattering states can be trea…
We point out that the dispersion relation for the left hand cut integral presented in one of our previous paper (Nucl. Phys. {\bf A}733(2004)235) is actually free of subtraction constant, even for unequal mass elastic scatterings. A new fit to the LASS data~\cite{Aston} is performed and firm evidence for the existence of $κ$ pole is found. The correct use of analyticity also put strong constraints on threshold parameters -- which are found to be in good agreement with those obtained from chiral theories. We also determined the pole parameters of $K_0^*(1430)$ on the second sheet, and reconfirm…
We investigate theoretical interpretations of the 1.4 GeV J^PC exotic resonance reported by the E852 collaboration. It is argued that interpretation in terms of a hybrid meson is untenable. A K-matrix analysis shows that the 1.4 GeV enhancement in the E852 eta pi data can be understood as an interference of a non-resonant Deck-type background and a resonance at 1.6 GeV. A final state rescattering calculation shows that the 1.6 GeV hybrid has a eta pi width which is bounded above by 57 \pm 14 MeV.
Beyond-the-standard-model interactions mediated by an exchange of virtual "new" bosons result in a finite set of possible effective interaction potentials between standard-model particles such as electrons and nucleons. We discuss the classification of such potentials and briefly review recent experiments searching for such exotic interactions at spatial scales from sub-nanometers to tens of thousand kilometers.
It is suggested that the narrow width of the recently observed resonance $Θ^{+}(1540)$ with strangeness $S=+1$ could be a result of the super-radiance mechanism of the redistribution of the widths of overlapping resonances due to their coupling through common decay channels.
