在本文中,我们综述了关于非局部算子形式为\[Lu(x)=\textrm{PV}\int_{\mathbb R^n}\bigl\{u(x)-u(x+y)\bigr\}K(y)dy.\]的狄利克雷问题\[\left\{ \begin{array}{rcll} L u &=&f&\textrm{in }Ω\\ u&=&g&\textrm{in }\mathbb R^n\backslashΩ\end{array}\right.\]的一些结果。
In this paper we survey some results on the Dirichlet problem \[\left\{ \begin{array}{rcll} L u &=&f&\textrm{in }Ω\\ u&=&g&\textrm{in }\mathbb R^n\backslashΩ\end{array}\right.\] for nonlocal operators of the form \[Lu(x)=\textrm{PV}\int_{\mathbb R^n}\bigl\{u(x)-u(x+y)\bigr\}K(y)dy.\] We start from the very basics, proving existence of solutions, maximum principles, and constructing some useful barriers. Then, we focus on the regularity properties of solutions, both in the interior and on the boundary of the domain.
In order to include some natural operators $L$ in the regularity theory, we do not assume any regularity on the kernels. This leads to some interesting features that are purely nonlocal, in the sense that have no analogue for local equations.
We hope that this survey will be useful for both novel and more experienced researchers in the field.
The well-posedness of nonlocal elliptic equation with singular drift is investigated in Besov-Hölder spaces. As an application, we show the existence and uniqueness for corresponding martingale problem. Moreover, we prove that the one dimensional distribution of the martingale solution has a density in some Besov space.
In this paper, we study the regularity of weak solutions to a class of nonlocal elliptic equations in Bessel potential spaces $H^{s,p}$. Our main results can be seen as an extension of the well-known $W^{1,p}$ regularity theory for local second-order elliptic equations in divergence form to the nonlocal setting.
The maximal B_{p,q}^{s}-regularity properties of a nonlocal fractional elliptic equation is studied. Particularly, it is proven that the operator generated by this nonlocal ellıpıtıc equation in B_{p,q}^{s} is sectorial and also is a generator of an analytic semigroup. Moreover, well-posedeness of nonlocal fractional parabolic equation in Besov spaces are established.
In this article a nonlocal elliptic problem involving $p$-Laplacian on unbounded domain is considered. Using variational methods and under suitable conditions, the existence of a sequence of radially symmetric weak solutions, in two different cases, is proved.
Given a compact manifold with boundary endowed with an isometric action of a discrete group of polynomial growth, we state an index theorem for elliptic elements in the algebra of nonlocal operators generated by the Boutet de Monvel algebra of pseudodifferential boundary value problems on the manifold and the shift operators associated with the group action.
Existence of stationary solutions to a nonlocal fourth-order elliptic obstacle problem arising from the modelling of microelectromechanical systems with heterogeneous dielectric properties is shown. The underlying variational structure of the model is exploited to construct these solutions as minimizers of a suitably regularized energy, which allows us to weaken considerably the assumptions on the model used in a previous article.
The theory of elliptic equations involving singular nonlinearities is well studied topic but the interaction of singular type nonlinearity with nonlocal nonlinearity in elliptic problems has not been investigated so far. In this article, we study the very singular and doubly nonlocal singular problem $(P_λ)$(See below). Firstly, we establish a very weak comparison principle and the optimal Sobolev regularity. Next using the critical point theory of non-smooth analysis and the geometry of the energy functional, we establish the global multiplicity of positive weak solutions.
We discuss the existence and non-existence of non-negative weak solutions for second order nonlocal elliptic systems subject to functional boundary conditions. Our approach is based on classical fixed point index theory combined with some recent results by the author.
In this paper, we establish various maximum principles and develop the method of moving planes and the sliding method (on general unbounded domains) for equations involving the uniformly elliptic nonlocal Bellman operator. As a consequence, we derive multiple applications of these maximum principles and the moving planes method. For instance, we prove symmetry, monotonicity and uniqueness results and asymptotic properties for solutions to various equations involving the uniformly elliptic nonlocal Bellman operator in bounded domains, unbounded domains, epigraph or $\mathbb{R}^{n}$. In particul…
We start in this paper a systematic study of the superpositions of elliptic operators with different orders, mixing classical and fractional scenarios. For concreteness, we focus on the sum of the Laplacian and the fractional Laplacian, and we provide structural results, including existence, maximum principles (both for weak and classical solutions), interior Sobolev regularity and boundary regularity of Lipschitz type.
We study existence and multiplicity of positive radial solutions for a coupled elliptic system in exterior domains where the nonlinearities depend on the gradients and the boundary conditions are nonlocal. We use a non-standard cone to establish existence of solutions by means of fixed point index theory.
We provide symmetrization results in the form of mass concentration comparisons for fractional singular elliptic equations in bounded domains, coupled with homogeneous external Dirichlet conditions. Two types of comparison results are presented, depending on the summability of the right-hand side of the equation. The maximum principle arguments employed in the core of the proofs of the main results offer a nonstandard, flexible alternative to the ones described in [18, Theorem 31]. Some interesting consequences are Lp regularity results and nonlocal energy estimates for solutions.
In this article, we consider mixed local and nonlocal Sobolev $(q,p)$-inequalities with extremal in the case $0<q<1<p<\infty$. We prove that the extremal of such inequalities is unique up to a multiplicative constant that is associated with a singular elliptic problem involving the mixed local and nonlocal $p$-Laplace operator. Moreover, it is proved that the mixed Sobolev inequalities are necessary and sufficient condition for the existence of weak solutions of such singular problems. As a consequence, a relation between the singular $p$-Laplace and mixed local and nonlocal $p$-Laplace equati…
We consider a class of elliptic and parabolic problems, featuring a specific nonlocal operator of fractional-laplacian type, where integration is taken on variable domains. Both elliptic and parabolic problems are proved to be uniquely solvable in the viscosity sense. Moreover, some spectral properties of the elliptic operator are investigated, proving existence and simplicity of the first eigenvalue. Eventually, parabolic solutions are proven to converge to the corresponding limiting elliptic solution in the long-time limit.
In this paper, we consider an elliptic operator obtained as the superposition of a classical second-order differential operator and a nonlocal operator of fractional type. Though the methods that we develop are quite general, for concreteness we focus on the case in which the operator takes the form $-Δ+(-Δ)^s$, with $s\in(0,1)$. We focus here on symmetry properties of the solutions and we prove a radial symmetry result, based on the moving plane method, and a one-dimensional symmetry result, related to a classical conjecture by G.W. Gibbons.
In this article, we will prove the existence of infinitely many positive weak solutions to the following nonlocal elliptic PDE. \begin{align} (-Δ)^s u&= \fracλ{u^γ}+ f(x,u)~\text{in}~Ω,\nonumber u&=0~\text{in}~\mathbb{R}^N\setminusΩ,\nonumber \end{align} where $Ω$ is an open bounded domain in $\mathbb{R}^N$ with Lipschitz boundary, $N>2s$, $s\in (0,1)$, $γ\in (0,1)$. We will employ variational techniques to show the existence of infinitely many weak solutions of the above problem.
