We show that there exists a Galois correspondence between subalgebras of an H-comodule algebra A over a base ring R and generalised quotients of a Hopf algebra H if both A and H are flat Mittag--Leffler modules. We also provide new criteria for subalgebras and generalised quotients to be closed elements of the Galois connection constructed. We generalise the Schauenburg theory of admissible objects to this more general context. Then we consider coextensions of H-module coalgebras. We construct a Galois connection for them and we prove that H-Galois coextensions are closed. We apply the results obtained to the Hopf algebra itself and we give a simple proof that there is a bijective correspondence between right ideal coideals of H and its left coideal subalgebras when H is finite dimensional. Furthermore, we formulate a necessary and sufficient condition for a bijective Galois correspondence for A=H. We also consider crossed product algebras.
We show that there exists a Galois correspondence between subalgebras of an H-comodule algebra A over a base ring R and generalised quotients of a Hopf algebra H. We also show that Q-Galois subextensions are closed elements of the constructed Galois connection. Then we consider the theory of coextensions of H-module coalgebras. We construct Galois theory for them and we prove that H-Galois coextensions are closed. We apply the obtained results to the Hopf algebra itself and we show a simple proof that there is a bijection correspondence between right ideal coideals of H and its left coideal su…
We introduce Galois Theory for Hopf-Galois Extensions proving existence of a Galois connection between subalgebras of an H-comodule algebra and generalised quotients of the Hopf algebra H. Moreover, we show that these quotients Q which define Q-Galois extension are the closed elements of our Galois connection. We generalise important results of Hopf--Galois Theory of M. Masuoka and H.-J. Schneider by showing that there is a bijective correspondence between right ideals coideals and right coideal subalgebras of any finite dimensional Hopf algebra and we reformulate the still open problem in the…
We construct an invertible normalised 2 cocycle on the Ehresmann Schauenburg bialgebroid of a cleft Hopf Galois extension under the condition that the corresponding Hopf algebra is cocommutative and the image of the unital cocycle corresponding to this cleft Hopf Galois extension belongs to the centre of the coinvariant subalgebra. Moreover, we show that any Ehresmann Schauenburg bialgebroid of this kind is isomorphic to a 2-cocycle twist of the Ehresmann Schauenburg bialgebroid corresponding to a Hopf Galois extension without cocycle, where comodule algebra is an ordinary smash product of the…
In this work we deal with partial (co)action of multiplier Hopf algebras on not necessarily unital algebras. Our main goal is to construct a Morita context relating the coinvariant algebra $R^{\underline{coA}}$ with a certain subalgebra of the smash product $R\#\widehat{A}$. Besides this we present the notion of partial Galois coaction, which is closely related to this Morita context.
Let $A$ be a connected commutative $\C$-algebra with derivation $D$, $G$ a finite linear automorphism group of $A$ which preserves $D$, and $R=A^G$ the fixed point subalgebra of $A$ under the action of $G$. We show that if $A$ is generated by a single element as an $R$-algebra and is a Galois extension over $R$ in the sense of M. Auslander and O. Goldman, then every finite-dimensional vertex algebra $R$-module has a structure of twisted vertex algebra $A$-module.
Let A be a comodule algebra for a finite dimensional Hopf algebra K over an algebraically closed field k, and let A^K be the subalgebra of invariants. Let Z be a central subalgebra in A, which is a domain with quotient field Q. Assume that Q\otimes_Z A is a central simple algebra over Q, and either A is a finitely generated torsion-free Z-module and Z is integrally closed in Q, or A is a finite projective Z-module. Then we show that A and Z are integral over the subring of central invariants Z\cap A^K. More generally, we show that this statement is valid under the same assumptions if Z is a re…
In previous work, to each Hopf algebra H and each invertible right two-cocycle on H, Eli Aljadeff and the first-named author attached a subalgebra B of the free commutative Hopf algebra S generated by the coalgebra underlying H; the algebra B is the subalgebra of coinvariants of a generic Hopf Galois extension. In this paper we give conditions under which S is faithfully flat, or even free, as a B-module. We also show that B is generated as an algebra by certain elements arising from the theory of polynomial identities for comodule algebras developped jointly with Aljadeff.
In this paper we introduce the notions of cleft and Galois (with normal basis) extension associated to a weak Hopf quasigroup. We show that, under suitable conditions, both notions are equivalent. As a particular instance we recover the classical results for (weak) Hopf algebras. Moreover, taking into account that weak Hopf quasigroups generalize the notion of Hopf quasigroup, we obtain the definitions of cleft and Galois (with normal basis) extension associated to a Hopf quasigroup and we get the equivalence betwen these extensions in this setting.
We show that the matrix embeddings in Bratteli diagrams are iterated direct sums of Hopf-Galois extensions (quantum principle bundles) for certain abelian groups. The corresponding strong universal connections are computed. We show that $ M_{n}(\mathbb{C})$ is a trivial quantum principle bundle for the Hopf algebra $ \mathbb{C}[\mathbb{Z}_{n} \times \mathbb{Z}_{n}] $. We conclude with an application relating known calculi on groups to calculi on matrices.
Given the spherical subalgebra $B$ of a rational Cherednik algebra, we aim to classify all finite groups $Γ$ for which there exists a domain $R$ on which $Γ$ acts by ring automorphisms, such that $B=R^Γ.$ We describe such groups in terms of geometry of the center of the reduction of $B$ modulo a large prime.
We define the notion of equivariant Hopf Galois extension and apply it as a functor between category of SAYD modules of the Hopf algebras involving in the extension. This generalizes the result of Jara-Stefan and Böhm-Stefan on associating a SAYD modules to any ordinary Hopf Galois extension.
We show that a semi-commutative Galois extension of a unital associative algebra can be endowed with the structure of a graded q-differential algebra. We study the first and higher order noncommutative differential calculus of semi-commutative Galois extension induced by the graded q-differential algebra. As an example we consider the quaternions which can be viewed as the semi-commutative Galois extension of complex numbers.
An extension of $k$-algebras $B \subset A$ is said to have depth one if there exists a positive integer $n$ such that $ A$ is a direct summand of $ B^n$ in $_B\mtr{Mod}_B$. Depth one extensions of semisimple algebras are completely characterized in terms of their centers. For extensions of semisimple Hopf algebras our results are similar to those obtained for finite group algebra extensions in \cite{BKone}.
In this paper, our objects of interest are Hopf Galois extensions (e.g., Hopf algebras, Galois field extensions, strongly graded algebras, crossed products, principal bundles, etc.) and families of noncommutative rings (e.g., skew polynomial rings, PBW extensions and skew PBW extensions, etc.). We collect and systematize questions, problems, properties and recent advances in both theories by explicitly developing examples and doing calculations that are usually omitted in the literature. In particular, for Hopf Galois extensions we consider approaches from the point of view of quantum torsors …
