We propose a new law for the deceleration parameter that varies linearly with time and covers Berman's law where it is constant. Our law not only allows one to generalize many exact solutions that were obtained assuming constant deceleration parameter, but also gives a better fit with data (from SNIa, BAO and CMB), particularly concerning the late time behavior of the universe. According to our law only the spatially closed and flat universes are allowed; in both cases the cosmological fluid we obtain exhibits quintom like behavior and the universe ends with a big-rip. This is a result consistent with recent cosmological observations.
In this article we have presented FRW cosmological model in the framework of Brans-Dicke theory. This paper deals with a new proposed form of deceleration parameter and cosmological constant. The effect of bulk viscosity is also studied in the presence of modified Chaplygin gas equation of state. Further, we have discussed the physical behaviors of the models.
The parametrizations $q=q_0+q_1 z$ and $q=q_0+q_1 (1-a/a_0)$ (Chevallier-Polarski-Linder parametrization) of deceleration parameter, which are linear in cosmic redshift $z$ and scale factor $a$, have been frequently utilized in the literature to study kinematics of Universe. In this paper, we follow a strategy that leads to these two well known parametrizations of deceleration parameter as well as an additional new parametrization $q=q_0+q_1(1-t/t_0)$, which is linear in cosmic time $t$. We study the features of this linearly time-varying deceleration parameter in contrast with the other two l…
The phenomenon of accelerated expansion of the present universe and a cosmic transit aspect is explored in the framework of a modified gravity theory known as $f(R,T)$ gravity (where $R$ is the Ricci scalar and $T$ is the trace of the energy momentum tensor of the matter content). The cosmic transit phenomenon signifies a signature flipping behaviour of the deceleration parameter. We employ a periodic varying deceleration parameter and obtained the exact solution of field equations. The dynamical features of the model including the oscillatory behaviour of the EOS parameter are studied. We hav…
In this work a new law of varying deceleration parameter of third degree have been proposed. The solutions of the modified field equations have been derived under the newly proposed law of the deceleration parameter. Model exhibits the Big-bang singularity at cosmic time ($t=0$) and shows Big Rip at ($t=n$) then it re-enter the phase of initial singularity at $t=2n$ and ends its cyclic behavior at $t=3n$. The evolution of the physical and dynamical parameters of the Universe have been studied and the graphical representation has also been shown. Further $Om(z)$ diagnostic parameter and the ene…
In this paper, we have studied homogeneous and anisotropic, locally rotationally symmetric (LRS) Bianchi type-I universe model with magnetized strange quark matter (MSQM) distribution and cosmological constant $Λ$ in $f(R,T)$ gravity. The exact solutions of the field equations are obtained under bilinear and special form of time varying deceleration parameter (DP). Firstly we have considered two specific form of bilinear DP with a single parameter of the form: $q=\frac{α(1-t)}{1+t}$ and $q=-\frac{αt}{1+t}$, which leads to a function with constant or linear nature with respect to the choice of …
In this paper, we study the dynamical behaviour of the Universe in the $F(R,G)$ theory of gravity, where $R$ and $G$ respectively denote the Ricci scalar and Gauss-Bonnet invariant. Our wide analysis encompasses the energy conditions, cosmographic parameters, $Om(z)$ diagnostic, stability and the viability of reconstructing the referred model through a scalar field formalism. The model obtained here shows the quintessence like behaviour at late times.
This manuscript investigate the dark energy Bianchi type-I cosmological models in presence of generalized Chaplygin gas, variable gravitational and cosmological constants. In this manuscript, exact solutions of Einstein field equations are obtained under the assumption of time periodic varying deceleration parameter. The physical and dynamical behaviors of the models have been discussed with the help of graphical representations. Also we have discussed the stability and physical acceptability of the obtained solutions
The objective of this work enclosed with the study of spatially homogeneous anisotropic Bianchi type-I universe in $f(R,T)$ gravity (where $R$ is the Ricci scalar and $T$ is the trace of stress energy momentum tensor) in two different cases viz. $f(R,T)=R+2f(T)$ and $f(R,T)=f_1(R)+f_2(T)$ with bulk viscosity matter content. In this study, we consider a time varying deceleration parameter, which generates an accelerating universe to obtain the exact solution of the field equations. The physical and kinematical properties of both the models are discussed in detail for the future evolution of the…
By employing Dirac LNH, and a further generalization by Berman (GLNH), we estimate how should vary the total number of nucleons, the energy density, Newton Gravitational constant, the cosmological constant, the magnetic permeability and electric permitivity, of the Universe,in order to account for the experimentally observed time variation of the fine structure constant. As a bonus,we find an acceptable value for the deceleration parameter of the present Universe, compatible with the Supernovae observations.
We make use of Dirac LNH and results for a time varying fine structure constant in order to derive possible laws of variation for speed of light, the number of nucleons in the Universe, energy density and gravitational constant. By comparing with experimental bounds on G variation, we find that the deceleration paramenter of the present Universe is negative. This is coherent with recent Supernovae observations.
It is investigated the behaviour of the ``constants'' $G,$ $c$ and $Λ$ in the framework of a perfect fluid LRS Bianchi I cosmological model. It has been taken into account the effects of a $c-$variable into the curvature tensor. Two exact cosmological solutions are investigated, arriving to the conclusion that if $q<0$ (deceleration parameter) then $G,$ $c$ are growing functions on time $t$ while $Λ$ is a negative decreasing function on time.
In this paper, we study three models of f(R) modified gravity including higher order terms based on different equation of state parameter. We also assume variable G and $Λ$. By using numerical analysis, we obtain the behavior of some important cosmological parameters, like the Hubble expansion H parameter and the deceleration parameter q. The statefinder diagnostics is also performed for all models.
In this paper, we have derived the field equations in an extended theory of gravity in an anisotropic space time background and in the presence of magnetic field. The physical and geometrical parameters of the models are determined with respect to the Hubble parameter using some algebraic approaches. A time varying scale factor has been introduced to analyze the behavior of the model. From some diagnostic approach, we found that the model behaves as $Λ_{CDM}$ model at late time of cosmic evolution.
We study the periodic cosmic transit behavior of accelerated universe in the framework of symmetric teleparallelism. The exact solution of field equations is obtained by employing a well known deceleration parameter (DP) called periodic varying deceleration parameter (PVDP), $q = m cos kt-1$. The viability and physical reliability of the DP are studied by using the observational constraint. The dynamics of periodicity and singularity are addressed in details with respect to time and redshift parameter. Several ECs are discussed in this setting.
Bianchi type V matter filled universe with varying lambda in general relativity are investigated by using the law of variation for the generalized mean Hubble parameter. This yields the constant value of deceleration parameter and generates two types of solutions for the average scale factor one is of power law type and other is of exponential type. The cosmological constant is found to be a decreasing function of time, which is supported by results from recent type Ia supernovae observations. Also it has been found that cosmological constant affects entropy. Some physical and geometric behavi…
Within the scope of an anisotropic Bianchi type-VI cosmological model we have studied the evolution of the universe filled with perfect fluid and dark energy. To get the deterministic model of Universe, we assume that the shear scalar $(σ)$ in the model is proportional to expansion scalar $(\vartheta)$. This assumption allows only isotropic distribution of fluid. Exact solution to the corresponding equations are obtained. The EoS parameter for dark energy as well as deceleration parameter is found to be the time varying functions. Using the observational data qualitative picture of the evoluti…
We generalize the holographic dark energy model described in Hubble length IR cutoff by assuming a slowly time varying function for holographic parameter $c^2$. We calculate the evolution of EoS parameter and the deceleration parameter as well as the evolution of dark energy density in this generalized model. We show that the phantom line is crossed from quintessence regime to phantom regime which is in agreement with observation. The evolution of deceleration parameter indicates the transition from decelerated to accelerated expansion. Eventually, we show that the GHDE with HIR cutoff can int…
In this paper, applying the Hartman-Grobman theorem we carry out a qualitative late-time analysis of some unified dark energy-matter Friedmann cosmological models, where the two interact through linear energy exchanges, and the dark energy fluid obeys to the dynamical equation of state of Redlich-Kwong, Modified Berthelot, and Dieterici respectively. The identification of appropriate late-time attractors allows to restrict the range of validity of the free parameters of the models under investigation. In particular, we prove that the late-time attractors which support a negative deceleration p…
Barrow, and Barrow and collaborators, have put forward theoretical models with variable fundamental constants including JBD theories. The experimental evidence for an accelerating Universe points out to a deceleration parameter approximately equal to -- 1. On the other hand, there is evidence for a time varying fine structure constant alpha . We have included the above results in a JBD cosmological model modified by J.D. Barrow by including a time varying speed of light, thus, finding an exponential inflationary phase with variables G, alpha and c . This means that the primordial value of alph…
In this paper, we study two different models of dark energy based on Chaplygin gas equation of state. The first model is the variable modified Chaplygin gas while the second one is the extended Chaplygin gas. Both models are considered in the framework of higher order $f(R)$ modified gravity. We also consider the case of time varying gravitational constant $G$ and $Λ$ for both models. We investigate some cosmological parameters such as the Hubble, the deceleration and the equation of state parameters. Then we showed that the model that we considered, extended Chaplygin gas with time-dependent …
In this study, the mechanism of particle creation using varying gravitational and cosmological constants and deceleration parameter has been studied for Friedman-Robertson-Walker at high dimensions to explain early deceleration and present accelerating phases. In order to investigate the dynamics of two phases, we have considered two different ansatz for the scale factor of the form $a(t)=\sqrt{t^αe^{t}}$ and $a(t)=\sqrt{\sin h(kt)}$ which are general form of power-law expansions. Firstly we modified $d$-dimensional field equations depend on time introduce a general formulation of particle cre…
In this paper, we consider Bianchi type III and Kantowski-Sachs spacetimes and discuss the behavior of time-varying constants $G$ and $Λ$ by using two symmetric techniques, namely, kinematic self-similarity and matter collineation. In the kinematic self-similarity technique, we investigate the behavior of the first and the second kinds. In the matter collineation technique, we consider usual, modified, and completely modified matter collineation equations while studying the behavior of these constants. Further, we reduce the results for dust, radiation, and stiff fluids. We find that $Λ$ is a …
We consider the holographic dark energy model in which the model parameter $c^2$ evolves slowly with time. First we calculate the evolution of EoS parameter as well as the deceleration parameter in this generalized version of holographic dark energy (GHDE). Depending on the parameter $c^2$, the phantom regime can be achieved earlier or later compare with original version of holographic dark energy. The evolution of energy density of GHDE model is investigated in terms of parameter $c^2$. We also show that the time-dependency of $c^2$ can effect on the transition epoch from decelerated phase to…
We consider the new agegraphic model of dark energy with a varying gravitational constant, $G$, in a non-flat universe. We obtain the equation of state and the deceleration parameters for both interacting and noninteracting new agegraphic dark energy. We also present the equation of motion determining the evolution behavior of the dark energy density with a time variable gravitational constant. Finally, we generalize our study to the case of viscous new agegraphic dark energy in the presence of an interaction term between both dark components.
In this paper, we have investigated the anisotropic behavior of the accelerating universe in Bianchi V space time in the frame work of General Relativity (GR). The matter field we have considered is of two non interacting fluids i.e. the usual string fluid and dark energy (DE) fluid. In order to represent the pressure anisotropy, the skewness parameters are introduced along three different spatial directions. To achieve a physically realistic solutions to the field equations, we have considered a scale factor, known as hybrid scale factor, which is generated by a time varying deceleration para…
In this paper we consider a universe filled with barotropic dark matter and Ricci dark energy in Lyra geometry with varying Lambda. We assume two different kinds of interactions between dark matter and dark energy. Then, by using numerical analysis, we investigate some cosmological parameters of the models such as equation of state, Hubble and deceleration parameters.
We compile an updated list of 38 measurements of the Hubble parameter $H(z)$ between redshifts $0.07 \leq z \leq 2.36$ and use them to place constraints on model parameters of constant and time-varying dark energy cosmological models, both spatially flat and curved. We use five models to measure the redshift of the cosmological deceleration-acceleration transition, $z_{\rm da}$, from these $H(z)$ data. Within the error bars, the measured $z_{\rm da}$ are insensitive to the model used, depending only on the value assumed for the Hubble constant $H_0$. The weighted mean of our measurements is $z…
We compile a complete collection of reliable Hubble parameter $H(z)$ data to redshift $z \leq 2.36$ and use them with the Gaussian Process method to determine continuous $H(z)$ functions for various data subsets. From these continuous $H(z)$'s, summarizing across the data subsets considered, we find $H_0\sim 67 \pm 4\,\rm km/s/Mpc$, more consistent with the recent lower values determined using a variety of techniques. In most data subsets, we see a cosmological deceleration-acceleration transition at 2$σ$ significance, with the data subsets transition redshifts varying over $0.33<z_{\rm da}<1.…
We study non-viscous and viscous holographic dark energy models for a homogeneous and isotropic flat Friedmann-Robertson-Walker Universe in $f(R,T)$ gravity. We find that the Hubble horizon as an IR cut-off is suitable for both the models to explain the recent accelerated expansion of the Universe. The cosmological parameters like deceleration parameter and statefinder parameters are discussed in each model. In non-viscous model a constant deceleration parameter is found which shows that there is no phase transition. The constraints on the parameters are obtained to analyse the fixed point val…
Spatially homogeneous and anisotropic Bianchi type V space-time with bulk viscous fluid source and time varying gravitational constant $G$ and cosmological term $Λ$ are considered. Coefficient of bulk viscosity $ζ$ is assumed as a simple linear function of Hubble parameter $H$ (i.e. $ζ=ζ_0+ζ_1 H$, where $ζ_0$ and $ζ_1$ are constants). The Einstein field equations are solved explicitly by using a law of variation for the Hubble parameter, which yields a constant value of deceleration parameter. Physical and kinematical parameters of the models are discussed. The models are found to be compatibl…
In this paper we have studied Kaluza-Klein string cosmological model within the framework of f(R; T) theory of gravity, where R is the Ricci scalar and T is the trace of the stress energy momentum tensor. We have obtained the solution of the corresponding field equations by using a time varying deceleration parameter. We also discussed various physical and dynamical properties of the model. The variation of different cosmological parameters are shown graphically for specific values of the parameters of the model.
We study the entropy-corrected version of the holographic dark energy (HDE) model in the framework of modified FRW cosmology. We consider a non-flat universe filled with an interacting viscous entropy-corrected HDE (ECHDE) with dark matter. We also include the case of variable gravitational constant G in our model. We obtain the equation of state and the deceleration parameters of the interacting viscous ECHDE. Moreover, we reconstruct the potential and the dynamics of the quintessence, tachyon, K-essence and dilaton scalar field models according to the evolutionary behavior of the interacting…
This article motivated by the recent articles and results of two authors. Recently, J. Sadeghi and H. Farahani presented a work [1], where they include viscosity and analyze general model, by this way they extended models considered by M. Khurshudyan [2] and [3]. In this article, We tempt to consider varying Modified Chaplygin gas model in case of variable $G$ and $Λ$. It is well known, that varying $G$ and $Λ$ gives rise to modified field equations and modified conservation laws. We will consider two different toy models. First model is a Universe with one component phenomenological gas of ou…
In this paper, we present a model of transitioning universe with minimal interaction between perfect fluid and anisotropic dark energy in Bianchi I space-time. The two sources are assumed to minimally interacted and therefore their energy momentum tensors are conserved separately. The explicit expression for average scale factor are considered in hybrid form that gives time varying deceleration parameter which describes both the early and late time physical features of universe. We also discuss the physical and geometrical properties of the model derived in this paper. The solution is interest…
In this paper we study the interaction between the general form of viscous varying modified cosmic Chaplygin gas and the Tachyon fluid in the framework of Einstein gravity. We want to reconstruct the Tachyon potential and total equation of state parameter graphically by using numerical methods. In the presence of deceleration parameter, the interaction between components becomes sign changeable to explain different evolutionary eras in the universe. We review the potential and total equation of state parameter in Emergent, Intermediate and Logamediate scenarios of scale factor numerically. Ana…
Within the scope of an anisotropic Bianchi type-V cosmological model we have studied the evolution of the universe. The assumption of a diagonal energy-momentum tensor leads to some severe restriction on the metric functions, which on its part imposes restriction on the components of the energy momentum tensor. This model allows anisotropic matter distribution. Further using the proportionality condition that relates the shear scalar $(σ)$ in the model is proportional to expansion scalar $(\vartheta)$ and the variation law of Hubble parameter, connecting Hubble parameter with volume scale. Exa…
Recently, a new strategy to the reconstruction of $f(R)$-gravity models based on the Raychaudhuri equation has been suggested by Choudhury et al. In this paper, utilizing this method, the reconstruction of anisotropic Einstein-Maxwell equation in the $1+3$ covariant formalism of $f(R)$-gravity is investigated in four modes: $i.$ Reconstruction from a negative constant deceleration parameter refereeing to an ever-accelerating universe; $ii.$ Reconstruction from a constant jerk parameter $j=1$ which recovers celebrated $Λ\text{CDM}$ mode of evolution; $iii.$ Reconstruction from a variable jerk p…
In this paper, an interacting holographic dark energy model with Hubble horizon as an infra-red cut-off is considered in the framework of Brans-Dicke theory. We propose a logarithmic form $ϕ\propto ln(α+βa)$ of the Brans-Dicke scalar field to alleviate the problems of interacting holographic dark energy models in Brans-Dicke theory. We find that the equation of state parameter $w_h$ and deceleration parameter $q$ are negative in the early time which shows the early time inflation. During the evolution the sign of parameter $q$ changes from negative to positive which means that the Universe exp…
Time-varying gravitomagnetic fields are considered within the linear post-Newtonian approach to general relativity. A simple model is developed in which the gravitomagnetic field of a localized mass-energy current varies linearly with time. The implications of this temporal variation of the source for the precession of test gyroscopes and the motion of null rays are briefly discussed.
We investigate a class of cosmological solutions of Einstein's field equations in higher dimensions with a cosmological constant and an ideal fluid matter distribution as a source. We discuss the dynamical evolution of the universe subject to two constraints that (i) the total volume scale factor of the universe is constant and (ii) the effective energy density is constant. We obtain various interesting new dynamics for the external space that yield a time varying deceleration parameter including oscillating cases when the flat/curved external and curved/flat internal spaces are considered. We…
We consider bound geodesic orbits of test masses in the exterior gravitational field of a rotating astronomical source whose proper angular momentum varies linearly with time. The linear perturbation approach of Lense and Thirring is herein extended to the nonstationary case. In particular, we investigate the instability of Lense-Thirring precessing orbits due to the slow temporal variation of the gravitomagnetic field of the source.
We calculate the expansion of the universe under the assumptions that $G$ varies in space and the radial size $r$ of the universe is very large (we call this the MOND regime of varying-$G$ gravity). The inferred asymptotic behavior turns out to be different than that found by McCrea & Milne in 1934 and our equations bear no resemblance to those of the relativistic case. In this cosmology, the scale factor $R(t)$ increases linearly with time $t$, the radial velocity is driven by inertia, and gravity is incapable of hindering the expansion. Yet, Hubble's law is borne out without any additional a…
In this paper, we have constructed the cosmological model of the universe in a two fluids environment with a newly developed mathematical formalism. In order to construct the model Binachi type V (BV) space time is considered with a time varying deceleration parameter. Both the fluids, the viscous fluid and the dark energy (DE) fluid have shown their dominance respectively in early time and late time of the cosmic evolution. The scale factor that simulates the cosmic transition based on the value of the bulk viscous coefficient. Within the developed formalism, a general form of the skewness pa…
We have studied the locally rotationally symmetric (LRS) Bianchi type-I cosmological model in $f(R,T)$ gravity ($R$ is the Ricci scalar and $T$ is the trace of the stress energy tensor) with Bulk viscous fluid as matter content. The model is constructed for the linear form $f(R,T)=R+2f(T)$. The exact solution of field equations is obtained by using a time varying deceleration parameter $q$ for a suitable choice of the function $f(T)$. In this work, the bulk viscous pressure $\bar{p}$ is found to be negative and energy density $ρ$ is found to be positive. The obtained model is anisotropic, acce…
A new varying-$c$ cosmological model constructed using two additional assumptions, which was introduced in our previous work, is briefly reviewed and the dynamic equation of the model is derived distinctly from a semi-Newtonian approach. The results of this model, using a $Λ$ term and an extra energy-momentum tensor, are considered separately. It is shown that the Universe began from a hot Big Bang and expands forever with a constant deceleration parameter regardless of its curvature. Finally, the age, the radius, and the energy content of the Universe are estimated and some discussion about t…
We study the effects of a time-varying gravitomagnetic field on the motion of test particles. Starting from recent results, we consider the gravitomagnetic field of a source whose spin angular momentum has a linearly time-varying magnitude. The acceleration due to such a time-varying gravitomagnetic field is considered as a perturbation of the Newtonian motion, and we explicitly evaluate the effects of this perturbation on the Keplerian elements of a closed orbit. The theoretical predictions are compared with actual astronomical and astrophysical scenarios, both in the solar system and in bina…
We consider a holographic dark energy model, in which both the CC energy density rho_Lambda and the Newton constant G_N are varying quantities, to study the problem of setting an effective field-theory IR cutoff. Assuming that ordinary matter scales canonically, we show that the continuity equation univocally fixes the IR cutoff, provided a law of variation for either rho_Lambda or G_N is known. Previous considerations on holographic dark energy disfavor the Hubble parameter as a candidate for the IR cutoff (for spatially flat universes), since in this case the ratio of dark energy to dark mat…
We investigate cosmological solutions of Brans-Dicke theory with both the vacuum energy density and the gravitational constant decaying linearly with the Hubble parameter. A particular class of them, with constant deceleration factor, sheds light on the cosmological constant problems, leading to a presently small vacuum term, and to a constant ratio between the vacuum and matter energy densities. By fixing the only free parameter of these solutions, we obtain cosmological parameters in accordance with observations of both the relative matter density and the universe age. In addition, we have t…
