The present work is a natural continuation of the previous paper arXiv:0911.5597. In this work, within the scope of the Generalized Uncertainty Principle, a model of the high energy deformation for a particular case of Einstein's equations is developed. In the process a thermodynamic description of General Relativity is used. And the deformation is understood as an extension of a particular theory by inclusion of one or several additional parameters in such a way that the initial theory appears in the limiting transition. The possibility for the high energy deformation of Einstein's equations within the scope of both equilibrium thermodynamics and non-equilibrium thermodynamics is examined
We compute the Hagedorn temperature of $μT \bar T + \varepsilon_+ J \bar T + \varepsilon_-T \bar J$ deformed CFT using the universal kernel formula for the thermal partition function. We find a closed analytic expression for the free energy and the Hagedorn temperature as a function of $μ$, $\varepsilon_+$, and $\varepsilon_-$ for the case of a compact scalar boson by taking the large volume limit. We also compute the Hagedorn temperature for the single trace deformed $AdS_3 \times S^1 \times T^3 \times S^3$ using holographic methods. We identify black hole configurations whose thermodynamics …
We study the thermodynamic properties of massless Dirac fermions in graphene under a uniform magnetic field and Rashba spin-orbit coupling with a $q-$deformed Heisenberg algebra calculus. The thermodynamic functions such as the Helmholtz free energy, total energy, entropy and heat capacity are obtained by using an approach based on the zeta function and Euler-Maclaurain formula. These functions will be numerically examined for different values of $η={1\over i}\ln(q)$. In particular, the heat capacity in the presence of deformation, all curves coincide and reach the fixed value $C=6K_B$ three t…
In this paper we study the thermodynamics of black branes with a modulated complex scalar in the context of bulk and boundary theories. The modulation induces inhomogeneity to the dual field theory, anisotropic pressure, and brane charge to the bulk geometry. The first law of thermodynamics and the Smarr relation are obtained using the off-shell ADT and the reduced action formalisms. We discuss the prescription for the mass of black branes, which relies on relevant and marginal deformations in the dual field theory. One of the cases is the gravity dual to a ABJM model with a sinusoidal mass fu…
We consider the problem of calculating the Casimir energies in the winding sectors of Fateev's SS-model, which is an integrable two-parameter deformation of the O(4) non-linear sigma model in two dimensions. This problem lies beyond the scope of all traditional methods of integrable quantum field theory including the thermodynamic Bethe ansatz and non-linear integral equations. Here we propose a solution based on a remarkable correspondence between classical and quantum integrable systems and express the winding energies in terms of certain solutions of the classical sinh-Gordon equation.
In this work, we study the effect of $κ$-deformed space on the thermodynamic quantities, this are find through the holographic renormalization that provide the free energy, which is fundamental to derive the another thermodynamic quantities. For this scenario we consider an charged AdS$_{4}$ black hole for an Einstein-Maxwell model where the derivative quadrivector is replaced by a deformed version inspired in Kaniadakis statistics. Besides, we extract the transport coefficient know as electrical conductivity.
We study thermodynamical properties of static dyonic AdS black holes in four-dimensional $ω$-deformed Kaluza-Klein gauged supergravity theory, and find that the differential first law requires a modification via introducing a new pair of thermodynamical conjugate variables (X, Y). To ensure such a modification, we then apply the quasi-local ADT formalism developed in Ref. [20] to calculate the quasi-local conserved charge and identify that the new pair is precisely the one previously introduced to modify the differential form of first law.
We probe the low-temperature behavior of a system of quantum bouncers as a theoretical model for ultracold neutrons within a low energy modified version of the standard quantum mechanics, due to the gravitational effects. Working in one dimension, the energy spectrum and bound states of a deformed quantum bouncer are obtained using the first-order WKB approximation, granted the very low energy regime of the particle. In this manner, we can study energy levels of a system of ultracold neutrons as an informative probe towards exploring the low energy manifestation of semi-classical quantum gravi…
In this paper, a four dimensional rotating Kaluza Klien (K-K) black hole was deformed using rainbow functions derived from loop quantum gravity and non-commutative geometry. We studied the thermodynamic properties and critical phenomena of this deformed black hole. The deformed temperature and entropy showed the existence of a Planckian remnant. The calculation of Gibbs free energy $ G$ for the ordinary and deformed black holes showed that both share a similar critical behaviour.
We show that the $T \bar T$ deformation of conformal field theories whose entropy grows as $S(E) \sim E^γ$ for $γ> 1/2$ exhibits negative specific heat in its microcanonical thermodynamic function $S({\cal E})$. We analyze the large $N$ symmetric product CFT as a concrete example of a CFT with this property and compute the thermodynamic functions such as $S({\cal E})$ and ${\cal E}(T)$. The negative specific heat in the microcanonical data is interpreted as signaling the first order phase transition when the system is coupled to a heat bath.
We compute the one-loop quantum corrections to the kink energies of the sinh-deformed $ϕ^{4}$ and $φ^{6}$ models in one space and one time dimensions. These models are constructed from the well-known polynomial $ϕ^{4}$ and $φ^{6}$ models by a deformation procedure. We also compute the vacuum polarization energy to the non-polynomial function $U(ϕ)=\frac{1}{4}(1-\sinh^{2}ϕ)^{2}$. This potential approaches the $ϕ^{4}$ model in the limit of small values of the scalar function. These energies are extracted from scattering data for fluctuations about the kink solutions. We show that for certain top…
We study various aspects of the mass deformed SYK model which can escape the interiors of pure boundary state black holes. SYK boundary states are given by a simple local boundary condition on the Majorana fermions and then evolved in Euclidean time in the SYK Hamiltonian. We study the ground state of this mass deformed SYK model in detail. We also use SYK boundary states as a variational approximation to the ground state of the mass deformed SYK model. We compare variational approximation with the exact ground state results and they showed a good agreement. We also study the time evolution of…
A particular framework for quantum gravity is the doubly special relativity (DSR) formalism that introduces a new observer independent scale (the Planck scale). We resort to the methods of statistical mechanics in this framework to determine how the deformed dispersion relation affects the thermodynamics of a photon gas. The ensuing modifications to the density of states, partition function, pressure, internal energy, entropy, free energy and specific heat are calculated. These results are compared with the outcome obtained in the Lorentz violating model of Camacho and Marcias (Gen. Relativ. G…
We have presented a set of laws of entanglement thermodynamics for $T\bar{T}$-deformed CFTs and in general for $T^2$-deformed field theories. In particular, the first law of this set, states that although we are dealing with a non-trivial deformed theory, the change of the entanglement entropy is simply translated to the change of the bending energy of the entangling surface. We interpret this energy as the energy of decomposition. Probing the whole spectrum of the deformed theory, a second law also results, which suggests an inequality that the first law is derived from its saturation limit. …
In this article we discus the energy-momentum conservation principle for two-particle system in the case of canonically and Lie-algebraically twist-deformed Galilei Hopf algebra. Particularly, we provide consistent with the coproducts energy and momentum addition law as well as its symmetric with respect the exchange of particles counterpart. Besides, we show that the vanishing of total fourmomentum for two Lie-algebraically deformed kinematical models leads to the discret values of energies and momenta only in the case of the symmetrized addition rules.
We review our recent work [arXiv:2009.10759] where we studied the chaotic property of the two coupled Sachdev-Ye-Kitaev systems exhibiting a Hawking-Page like phase transition. By computing the out-of-time-ordered correlator in the large N limit by using the bilocal field formalism, we found that the chaos exponent of this model shows a discontinuous fall-off at the phase transition temperature. Hence in this model the Hawking-Page like transition is correlated with a transition in chaoticity, as expected from the relation between a black hole geometry and the chaotic behavior in the dual fiel…
In four space-time dimensions General Relativity can be non-trivially deformed. Deformed theories continue to describe two propagating degrees of freedom, as GR. We study Euclidean black hole thermodynamics in these deformations. We use the recently developed formulation that works with SO(3) connections as well as certain matrices M of auxiliary fields. We show that the black hole entropy is given by one quarter of the horizon area as measured by the Lie algebra valued two-form MF, where F is the connection curvature. This coincides with the horizon area as measured by the metric only for the…
We construct a deformed adS-Einstein-Born-Infeld black hole from noncommutative gauge theory of gravity and determine the metric coefficients up to second order on the noncommutative parameter. We analyse the modifications on the thermodynamical properties of the black hole due to the noncommutative contributions, and we show that noncommutativity has as a direct consequence, the removal of critical points.
In this paper we have consider the thermodynamics of a photon gas subject to the presence of a minimal measurable length following from a covariant extension of the original generalized uncertainty principle (GUP). After establishing consistently a generalized dynamics, we define a GUP deformed Maxwell invariant which serves as the basis for our study. In order to highlight the GUP effects we compute the one- and two-loop order contribution to the partition function at the high-temperature limit. Afterwards, by computing the internal energy density we conclude that the additional terms can be …
We propose a general path-integral definition of two-dimensional quantum field theories deformed by an integrable, irrelevant vector operator constructed from the components of the stress tensor and those of a $U(1)$ current. The deformed theory is obtained by coupling the original QFT to a flat dynamical gauge field and "half" a flat dynamical vielbein. The resulting partition function is shown to satisfy a geometric flow equation, which perfectly reproduces the flow equations for the deformed energy levels that were previously derived in the literature. The S-matrix of the deformed QFT diffe…
In this paper, we continue the study of $T\bar{T}$ deformation in $d=1$ quantum mechanical systems and propose possible analogues of $J\bar{T}$ deformation and deformation by a general linear combination of $T\bar{T}$ and $J\bar{T}$ in quantum mechanics. We construct flow equations for the partition functions of the deformed theory, the solutions to which yields the deformed partition functions as integral of the undeformed partition function weighted by some kernels. The kernel formula turns out to be very useful in studying the deformed two-point functions and analyzing the thermodynamics of…
Thermodynamic metric usually works only for those black holes with more than one conserved charge, therefore the Schwarzschild black hole was excluded. In this letter, we compute and compare different versions of offshell thermodynamic metric for the Schwarzschild-like black hole by introducing a new degree of freedom. This new degree of freedom could be the running Newton constant, a cutoff scale for regular black hole, a noncommutative deformation, or the deformed parameter in the nonextensive Tsallis-Renyi entropy. The onshell metric of the deformed Schwarzschild solution would correspond t…
In this paper we study the thermodynamics of a crystalline solid by applying q-deformed algebra of Fibonacci oscillators through the generalized Fibonacci sequence of two real and independent deformation parameters q1 and q2. We find a (q1, q2)-deformed Hamiltonian and consequently the q-deformed thermodynamic quantities. The results led us to interpret the deformation parameters acting as disturbance or impurities factors modifying the characteristics of a crystal structure. More specifically, we found the possibility of adjusting the Fibonacci oscillators to describe the change of thermal co…
The spectral problem for the ${\rm AdS}_5\times {\rm S}^5$ superstring and its dual planar maximally supersymmetric Yang-Mills theory can be efficiently solved through a set of functional equations known as the quantum spectral curve. We discuss how the same concepts apply to the $η$-deformed ${\rm AdS}_5\times {\rm S}^5$ superstring, an integrable deformation of the ${\rm AdS}_5\times {\rm S}^5$ superstring with quantum group symmetry. This model can be viewed as a trigonometric version of the ${\rm AdS}_5\times {\rm S}^5$ superstring, like the relation between the XXZ and XXX spin chains, or…
