We consider the ``modified Minimal Analytic'' (mMA) coupling that involves an infrared cut to the standard MA coupling. The mMA coupling is a Stieltjes function and, as a consequence, the paradiagonal Pade approximants converge to the coupling in the entire $Q^2$-plane except on the time-like semiaxis below the cut. The equivalence between the narrow width approximation of the discontinuity function of the coupling, on the one hand, and this Pade (rational) approximation of the coupling, on the other hand, is shown. We approximate the analytic analogs of the higher powers of mMA coupling by rational functions in such a way that the singularity region is respected by the approximants.Several comparisons, for real and complex arguments $Q^2$, between the exact and approximate expressions are made and the speed of convergence is discussed. Motivated by the success of these approximants, an improvement of the mMA coupling is suggested, and possible uses in the reproduction of experimental data are discussed.
We use rational approximants to study missing higher orders in the massless scalar-current quark correlator. We predict the yet unknown six-loop coefficient of its imaginary part, related to $Γ(H\to b \bar b)$, to be $c_5=-6900\pm 1400$. With this result, the perturbative series becomes almost insensitive to renormalization scale variations and the intrinsic QCD truncation uncertainty is tiny. This confirms the expectation that higher-order loop computations for this quantity will not be required in the foreseeable future, as the uncertainty in $Γ(H\to b \bar b)$ will remain largely dominated …
We present an overview of fractional analytic QCD beyond leading order, following the results recently obtained in Ref. [1]. We demonstrate four different representations, the details of their derivation, and show the applicability of analytic QCD to the analysis of the Bjorken sum rule.
We present analytic results that describe fully-differential NNLO QCD corrections to deep-inelastic scattering processes within the nested soft-collinear subtraction scheme. This is the last building block required for the application of this scheme to computations of NNLO QCD corrections to arbitrary processes at hadron colliders.
We present details of study of the Bjorken polarized sum rule carried out recently in [1] within the range of energies where the data were collected by JLAB collaboration, 0.05 GeV2 < Q2 < 3 GeV2. Three approaches to QCD with analytic (holomorphic) coupling are considered: Analytic Perturbation Theory (APT), Two-delta analytic QCD, and Three-delta lattice-motivated analytic QCD in the three-loop and four-loop MiniMOM schemes. The new frameworks with respective couplings give results which agree well with the experimental data for 0.5 GeV2 < Q2 < 3GeV2 already when only one higher-twist term is…
Within the framework of local analytic sector subtraction, we present the full analytic integration of double-real and real-virtual local infrared counterterms that enter NNLO QCD computations with any number of massless final-state partons. We show that a careful choice of phase-space mappings leads to simple analytic results, including non-singular terms, that can be obtained with conventional integration techniques.
We present an analytic three-loop result for the leading color contribution to the Higgs-gluon form factor in QCD. The leading color contribution is given at next-to-next-to-leading order by the $N_c^2$-term in QCD with $N_c$ colors. The main focus of this article lies on the evaluation of the relevant Feynman integrals with a special emphasis on the elliptic sector.
In this paper we present a new and efficient analytical solutions for evolving the QED$\otimes$QCD DGLAP evolution equations in mellin space and obtain the parton distribution functions (PDFs) in perturbative QCD including the QED corrections. The validity of our analytical solutions, which have done in the next to leading order QCD and the leading order QED approximations, are checked with the initial parton distributions from newly released CT14QED global analysis code (Phys. Rev.D93,114015(2016)). The evolved parton distributions are in good agreement with CT14QED code and also with those f…
Sudakov form factors appear ubiquitously in factorized cross sections where they allow one to resum large logarithms to all orders in perturbation theory. Their exact evaluation requires numerical integrals over anomalous dimensions, which in practice can hamper efficiency. Alternatively, one can use approximate analytic solutions, which provide fast evaluation at the cost of numerical precision and loss of properties such as renormalization group invariance. We provide an exact analytic expression of the QCD Sudakov form factor which allows one to obtain fast and numerically exact results.
We present analytic formulas that describe fully-differential production of color-singlet final states in $q\bar q$ and $gg$ annihilation, including all the relevant partonic channels, through NNLO QCD. We work within the nested soft-collinear scheme which allows for fully local subtraction of infrared divergences. We demonstrate analytic cancellation of soft and collinear poles and present formulas for finite parts of all integrated subtraction terms. These results provide an important building block for calculating NNLO QCD corrections to arbitrary processes at hadron colliders within the ne…
Recent lattice QCD calculations show strong indications that the crossover of QCD at zero baryon chemical potential ($μ_B$) is a remnant of the second order chiral phase transition. The non-universal parameters needed to map temperature $T$ and $μ_B$ to the universal properties of the second order chiral phase transition were determined by lattice QCD calculations. Motivated by these advances, first, we discuss the analytic structure of the partition function -- the so-called Yang-Lee edge singularity -- in the QCD crossover regime, solely based on universal properties. Then, utilizing the lat…

Within the framework of local analytic sector subtraction, we present the subtraction of next-to-leading-order QCD singularities for processes featuring massless coloured particles in the initial as well as in the final state. The features of the method are explained in detail, including the introduction of an optimisation procedure aiming at improving numerical stability at the cost of no extra analytic complexity. A numerical validation is provided for a variety of processes relevant to lepton as well as hadron colliders. This work constitutes a relevant step in view of the application of ou…
We investigate the Bjorken polarized sum rule (BSR) in three approaches to QCD with analytic (holomorphic) coupling: Analytic Perturbation Theory (APT), Two-delta analytic QCD (2$δ$anQCD), and Three-delta lattice-motivated analytic QCD in the three-loop and four-loop MOM scheme (3l3$δ$anQCD, 4l3$δ$anQCD). These couplings do not have unphysical (Landau) singularities, and have finite values when the transferred momentum goes to zero, which allows us to explore the infrared regime. With the exception of APT, these theories at high momenta practically coincide with the underlying perturbative QCD…
