We identify the precise relationship between the five-parameter $τ^{(2)}$-family in the $N$-state chiral Potts model and XXZ chains with $U_q (sl_2)$-cyclic representation. By studying the Yang-Baxter relation of the six-vertex model, we discover an one-parameter family of $L$-operators in terms of the quantum group $U_q (sl_2)$. When $N$ is odd, the $N$-state $τ^{(2)}$-model can be regarded as the XXZ chain of $U_{\sf q} (sl_2)$ cyclic representations with ${\sf q}^N=1$. The symmetry algebra of the $τ^{(2)}$-model is described by the quantum affine algebra $U_{\sf q} (\hat{sl}_2)$ via the canonical representation. In general for an arbitrary $N$, we show that the XXZ chain with a $U_q (sl_2)$-cyclic representation for $q^{2N}=1$ is equivalent to two copies of the same $N$-state $τ^{(2)}$-model.
We discover an Ising-type duality in the general $N$-state chiral Potts model, which is the Kramers-Wannier duality of planar Ising model when N=2. This duality relates the spectrum and eigenvectors of one chiral Potts model at a low temperature (of small $k'$) to those of another chiral Potts model at a high temperature (of $k'^{-1}$). The $τ^{(2)}$-model and chiral Potts model on the dual lattice are established alongside the dual chiral Potts models. With the aid of this duality relation, we exact a precise relationship between the Onsager-algebra symmetry of a homogeneous superintegrable c…
We establish the Bethe equation of the $τ^{(2)}$-model in the $N$-state chiral Potts model (including the degenerate selfdual cases) with alternating vertical rapidities. The eigenvalues of a finite-size transfer matrix of the chiral Potts model are computed by use of functional relations. The significance of the "alternating superintegrable" case of the chiral Potts model is discussed, and the degeneracy of $τ^{(2)}$-model found as in the homogeneous superintegrable chiral Potts model.
We identify the quantum group ${\Large\textsl{U}}_\textsl{w}(sl_2)$ in the $L$-operator of $τ^{(2)}$-model for a generic $\textsl{w}$ as a subalgebra of $U_{\sf q} (sl_2)$ with $\textsl{w} = {\sf q}^{-2}$. In the roots of unity case, ${\sf q}=q, \textsl{w} = ω$ with $q^{\bf n} = ω^N = 1$, the eigenvalues and eigenvectors of XXZ-model with the $U_q (sl_2)$-cyclic representation are determined by the $τ^{(2)}$-model with the induced ${\Large\textsl{U}}_ω(sl_2)$-cyclic representation, which is decomposed as a finite sum of $τ^{(2)}$-models in non-superintegrable inhomogeneous $N$-state chiral Pot…
We demonstrate that the transfer matrix of the inhomogeneous $N$-state chiral Potts model with two vertical superintegrable rapidities serves as the $Q$-operator of XXZ chain model for a cyclic representation of $U_{\sf q}(sl_2)$ with $N$th root-of-unity ${\sf q}$ and representation-parameter for odd $N$. The symmetry problem of XXZ chain with a general cyclic $U_{\sf q}(sl_2)$-representation is mapped onto the problem of studying $Q$-operator of some special one-parameter family of generalized $τ^{(2)}$-models. In particular, the spin-$\frac{N-1}{2}$ XXZ chain model with ${\sf q}^N=1$ and the…
We examine the Onsager algebra symmetry of $τ^{(j)}$-matrices in the superintegrable chiral Potts model. The comparison of Onsager algebra symmetry of the chiral Potts model with the $sl_2$-loop algebra symmetry of six-vertex model at roots of unity is made from the aspect of functional relations using the $Q$-operator and fusion matrices. The discussion of Bethe ansatz for both models is conducted in a uniform manner through the evaluation parameters of their symmetry algebras.
We present exact calculations of chromatic polynomials for families of cyclic graphs consisting of linked polygons, where the polygons may be adjacent or separated by a given number of bonds. From these we calculate the (exponential of the) ground state entropy, $W$, for the q-state Potts model on these graphs in the limit of infinitely many vertices. A number of properties are proved concerning the continuous locus, ${\cal B}$, of nonanalyticities in $W$. Our results provide further evidence for a general rule concerning the maximal region in the complex q plane to which one can analytically …
In this paper, we present a systematical account of the descending procedure from six-vertex model to the $N$-state chiral Potts model through fusion relations of $τ^{(j)}$-operators, following the works of Bazhanov-Stroganov and Baxter-Bazhanov-Perk. A careful analysis of the descending process leads to appearance of the high genus curve as rapidities' constraint for the chiral Potts models. Full symmetries of the rapidity curve are identified, so is its symmetry group structure. By normalized transfer matrices of the chiral Potts model, the $τ^{(2)}T$ relation can be reduced to functional eq…
By the Baxter's $Q_{72}$-operator method, we demonstrate the equivalent theory between the generalized $τ^{(2)}$-model (other than two special cases with a pseudovacuum state) and the $N$-state chiral Potts model with two alternating vertical rapidities, where the degenerate models are included. As a consequence, the theory of the XXZ chain model associated to cyclic representations (with the parameter $ς$) of $U_{\sf q}(sl_2)$ with ${\sf q}^N=1$ for odd $N$ is identified with either (for $ς^N=1$) the chiral Potts model with two superintegrable vertical rapidities, or (for $ς^N \neq 1$) the de…
The loop algebra $L(\mathfrak{sl}_{2})$ symmetry is found in a sector of the nilpotent Bazhanov-Stroganov model. The Drinfeld polynomial of a $L(\mathfrak{sl}_{2})$-degenerate eigenspace of the model is equivalent to the polynomial which characterizes a subspace with the Ising-like spectrum of the superintegrable chiral Potts model.
The magnetic properties of the antiferromagnetic Potts model with two-site interaction and the antiferromagnetic Ising model with three-site interaction on recursive lattices have been studied. A cyclic period-3 window has been revealed by the recurrence relation method in the antiferromagnetic Q-state Potts model on the Bethe lattice (at Q<2) and in the antiferromagnetic Ising model with three-site interaction on the Husimi cactus. The Lyapunov exponents have been calculated, modulated phases and a chaotic regime in the cyclic period-3 window have been found for one-dimensional rational mappi…
In this paper a hithertho unknown symmetry of the three-state chiral Potts model is found consisting of two coupled Temperley-Lieb algebras. From these we can construct new superintegrable models. One realisation is in terms of a staggered isotropic XY spin chain. Further we investigate the importance of the algebra for the existence of mutually commuting charges. This leads us to a natural generalisation of the boost-operator, which generates the charges.
The cyclically dominated voter model on a square lattice is extended by taking into consideration the variation of Potts energy during the nearest neighbor invasions. We have investigated the effect of surface tension on the self- organizing patterns maintained by cyclic invasions. A geometrical analysis is also developed tp study the three-color patterns. These investigations indicate clearly that in the "voter model" limit the pattern evolution is governed by the loop creation due to the overhanging during the interfacial roughening. Conversely, in the presence surface tension the evolution …
We perform a Random Matrix Theory (RMT) analysis of the quantum four-state chiral Potts chain for different sizes of the chain up to size L=8. Our analysis gives clear evidence of a Gaussian Orthogonal Ensemble statistics, suggesting the existence of a generalized time-reversal invariance. Furthermore a change from the (generic) GOE distribution to a Poisson distribution occurs when the integrability conditions are met. The chiral Potts model is known to correspond to a (star-triangle) integrability associated with curves of genus higher than zero or one. Therefore, the RMT analysis can also b…
We study the Potts model (defined geometrically in the cluster picture) on finite two-dimensional lattices of size L x N, with boundary conditions that are free in the L-direction and periodic in the N-direction. The decomposition of the partition function in terms of the characters K\_{1+2l} (with l=0,1,...,L) has previously been studied using various approaches (quantum groups, combinatorics, transfer matrices). We first show that the K\_{1+2l} thus defined actually coincide, and can be written as traces of suitable transfer matrices in the cluster picture. We then proceed to similarly decom…
We present exact calculations of the zero-temperature partition function of the $q$-state Potts antiferromagnet on arbitrarily long strips of the square, triangular, and kagomé lattices with width $L_y=2$ or 3 vertices and with periodic longitudinal boundary conditions. From these, in the limit of infinite length, we obtain the exact ground-state entropy $S_0=k_B \ln W$. These results are of interest since this model exhibits nonzero ground state entropy $S_0 > 0$ for sufficiently large $q$ and hence is an exception to the third law of thermodynamics. We also include results for homeomorphic e…
We demonstrate that the $τ^{(j)}$-matrices in the superintegrable chiral Potts model possess the Onsager algebra symmetry for their degenerate eigenvalues. The Fabricius-McCoy comparison of functional relations of the eight-vertex model for roots of unity and the superintegrable chiral Potts model has been carefully analyzed by identifying equivalent terms in the corresponding equations, by which we extract the conjectured relation of $Q$-operators and all fusion matrices in the eight-vertex model corresponding to the $T\hat{T}$-relation in the chiral Potts model.
We consider general cyclic representations of the 6-vertex Yang-Baxter algebra and analyze the associated quantum integrable systems, the Bazhanov-Stroganov model and the corresponding chiral Potts model on finite size lattices. We first determine the propagator operator in terms of the chiral Potts transfer matrices and we compute the scalar product of separate states (including the transfer matrix eigenstates) as a single determinant formulae in the framework of Sklyanin's quantum separation of variables. Then, we solve the quantum inverse problem and reconstruct the local operators in terms…
We construct lattice parafermions for the $Z(N)$ chiral Potts model in terms of quasi-local currents of the underlying quantum group. We show that the conservation of the quantum group currents leads to twisted discrete-holomorphicity (DH) conditions for the parafermions. At the critical Fateev-Zamolodchikov point the parafermions are the usual ones, and the DH conditions coincide with those found previously by Rajabpour and Cardy. Away from the critical point, we show that our twisted DH conditions can be understood as deformed lattice current conservation conditions for an underlying perturb…
An outstanding problem in statistical mechanics is the order parameter of the chiral Potts model. An elegant conjecture for this was made in 1983. It has since been successfully tested against series expansions, but as far as the author is aware there is as yet no proof of the conjecture. Here we show that if one makes a certain analyticity assumption similar to that used to derive the free energy, then one can indeed verify the conjecture. The method is based on the ``broken rapidity line'' approach pioneered by Jimbo, Miwa and Nakayashiki.
The q-state Potts antiferromagnet on a lattice $Λ$ exhibits nonzero ground state entropy $S_0=k_B \ln W$ for sufficiently large q and hence is an exception to the third law of thermodynamics. An outstanding challenge has been the calculation of W(sq,q) on the square (sq) lattice. We present here an exact calculation of W on an infinite-length cyclic strip of the square lattice which embodies the expected analytic properties of W(sq,q). Similar results are given for the kagomé lattice.
The chiral Potts model continues to pose particular challenges in statistical mechanics: it is ``exactly solvable'' in the sense that it satisfies the Yang-Baxter relation, but actually obtaining the solution is not easy. Its free energy was calculated in 1988 and the order parameter was conjectured in full generality a year later. However, a derivation of that conjecture had to wait until 2005. Here we discuss that derivation.
We present exact calculations of the zero-temperature partition function (chromatic polynomial) and the (exponent of the) ground-state entropy $S_0$ for the $q$-state Potts antiferromagnet on families of cyclic and twisted cyclic (Möbius) strip graphs composed of $p$-sided polygons. Our results suggest a general rule concerning the maximal region in the complex $q$ plane to which one can analytically continue from the physical interval where $S_0 > 0$. The chromatic zeros and their accumulation set ${\cal B}$ exhibit the rather unusual property of including support for $Re(q) < 0$ and provide …
The most general cyclic representations of the quantum integrable tau_2-model are analyzed. The complete characterization of the tau_2-spectrum (eigenvalues and eigenstates) is achieved in the framework of Sklyanin's Separation of Variables (SOV) method by extending and adapting the ideas first introduced in [1, 2]: i) The determination of the tau_2-spectrum is reduced to the classification of the solutions of a given functional equation in a class of polynomials. ii) The determination of the tau_2-eigenstates is reduced to the classification of the solutions of an associated Baxter equation. …
We give the simple proof of the star-triangle relation of the chiral Potts model. We also give the constructive way to understand the star-triangle relation of the chiral Potts model, which may give the hint to give the new integrable models.
We study the eigenvector problem in homogeneous superintegrable $N$-state chiral Potts model (CPM) by the symmetry principal. Using duality symmetry and (spin-)inversion in CPM, together with Onsager-algebra symmetry and $sl_2$-loop-algebra symmetry of the superintegrable $τ^{(2)}$-model, we construct the complete $k'$-dependent CPM-eigenvectors in the local spin basis for an arbitrary Onsager sector. In this paper, we present the complete classification of quantum numbers of superintegrable $τ^{(2)}$-model. Accordingly, there are four types of sectors. The relationships among Onsager sectors …
We compute the correlation functions of the three state superintegrable chiral Potts spin chain for chains of length 3,4,5. From these results we present conjectures for the form of the nearest neighbor correlation function.
We show how $Z$-invariance in the chiral Potts model provides a strategy to calculate the pair correlation in the general integrable chiral Potts model using only the superintegrable eigenvectors. When the distance between the two spins in the correlation function becomes infinite it becomes the square of the order parameter. In this way, we show that the spontaneous magnetization can be expressed in terms of the inner products of the eigenvectors of the $N$ asymptotically degenerate maximum eigenvalues. Using our previous results on these eigenvectors, we are able to obtain the order paramete…
We study a three-state Potts model extended by allowing cyclic dominance between the states as it appears for the rock-scissors-paper game. Monte Carlo simulations are performed on a square lattice when varying the temperature and the strength of cyclic dominance. It is shown that the critical phase transition from the disordered state to the ordered one is destroyed by the cyclic dominance that yields a self-organizing pattern even at low temperatures. The differences and similarities are discussed between the present model and the half-filled, driven lattice gases with repulsive interaction.
We study the chromatic polynomial P_G(q) for m \times n square- and triangular-lattice strips of widths 2\leq m \leq 8 with cyclic boundary conditions. This polynomial gives the zero-temperature limit of the partition function for the antiferromagnetic q-state Potts model defined on the lattice G. We show how to construct the transfer matrix in the Fortuin--Kasteleyn representation for such lattices and obtain the accumulation sets of chromatic zeros in the complex q-plane in the limit n\to\infty. We find that the different phases that appear in this model can be characterized by a topological…
The present paper discusses various mathematical aspects about the rapidity symmetry in chiral Potts model (CPM) in the context of algebraic geometry and group theory . We re-analyze the symmetry group of a rapidity curve in $N$-state CPM, explore the universal group structure for all $N$, and further enlarge it to modular symmetries of the complete rapidity family in CPM. As will be shown in the article that all rapidity curves in $N$-state CPM constitute a Fermat hypersurface in $\PZ^3$ of degree 2N as the natural generalization of the Fermat K3 elliptic surface $(N=2)$, we conduct a thoroug…
We show that the integral $J(t) = (1/π^3) \int_0^π\int_0^π\int_0^πdx dy dz \log(t - \cos{x} - \cos{y} - \cos{z} + \cos{x}\cos{y}\cos{z})$, can be expressed in terms of ${_5F_4}$ hypergeometric functions. The integral arises in the solution by Baxter and Bazhanov of the free-energy of the $sl(n)$ Potts model, which includes the term $J(2)$. Our result immediately gives the logarithmic Mahler measure of the Laurent polynomial $k - (x+1/x) - (y+1/y) - (z+1/z) + 1/4(x+1/x) (y+1/y) (z+1/z)$ in terms of the same hypergeometric functions.
We present exact calculations of Potts model partition functions and the equivalent Tutte polynomials for polygon chain graphs with open and cyclic boundary conditions. Special cases of the results that yield flow and reliability polynomials are discussed. We also analyze special cases of the Tutte polynomials that determine various quantities of graph-theoretic interest.
This is the third in a series of papers in which we set up and discuss the functional relations for the ``split rapidity line'' correlation function in the N - state chiral Potts model. The order parameters of the model can be obtained from this function. Here we consider the case N = 3 and write the equations explicitly in terms of the hyperelliptic functions parametrization. We also present four-term low-temperature series expansions, which we hope will cast light on the analyticity properties needed to solve the relations. The problem remains unsolved, but we hope that this will prove to be…
It has been known for some time that the Boltzmann weights of the chiral Potts model can be parametrized in terms of hyperelliptic functions, but as yet no such parametrization has been applied to the partition and correlation functions. Here we show that for N=3 the function $S(t_p)$ that occurs in the recent calculation of the order parameters can be expressed quite simply in terms of such a parametrization.
Monodromy matrices of the $τ_2$ model are known to satisfy a Yang--Baxter equation with a six-vertex $R$-matrix as the intertwiner. The commutation relations of the elements of the monodromy matrices are completely determined by this $R$-matrix. We show the reason why in the superintegrable case the eigenspace is degenerate, but not in the general case. We then show that the eigenspaces of special CSOS models descending from the chiral Potts model are also degenerate. The existence of an $L({\mathfrak{sl}}_2)$ quantum loop algebra (or subalgebra) in these models is established by showing that …
The free energy of the chiral Potts model has been obtained in two ways. The first used only the star-triangle relation, symmetries and invariances, and led to a system of equations that implicitly define the free energy, and from which the critical behaviour can be obtained. The second used the functional relations derived by Bazhanov and Stroganov, solving them to obtain the free energy explicitly as a double integral. Here we obtain, for the first time, a direct verification that the two results are identical at all temperatures.
We present a method for calculating transfer matrices for the $q$-state Potts model partition functions $Z(G,q,v)$, for arbitrary $q$ and temperature variable $v$, on cyclic and Möbius strip graphs $G$ of the square (sq), triangular (tri), and honeycomb (hc) lattices of width $L_y$ vertices and of arbitrarily great length $L_x$ vertices. For the cyclic case we express the partition function as $Z(Λ,L_y \times L_x,q,v)=\sum_{d=0}^{L_y} c^{(d)} Tr[(T_{Z,Λ,L_y,d})^m]$, where $Λ$ denotes lattice type, $c^{(d)}$ are specified polynomials of degree $d$ in $q$, $T_{Z,Λ,L_y,d}$ is the transfer matrix …
We present a set of general results on structural features of the $q$-state Potts model partition function $Z(G,q,v)$ for arbitrary $q$ and temperature Boltzmann variable $v$ for various lattice strips of arbitrarily great width $L_y$ vertices and length $L_x$ vertices, including (i) cyclic and Möbius strips of the square and triangular lattice, and (ii) self-dual cyclic strips of the square lattice. We also present an exact solution for the chromatic polynomial for the cyclic and Möbius strips of the square lattice with width $L_y=5$ (the greatest width for which an exact solution has been ob…
For the Ising model, the calculation of the spontaneous magnetization leads to the problem of evaluating a determinant. Yang did this by calculating the eigenvalues in the large-lattice limit. Montroll, Potts and Ward expressed it as a Toeplitz determinant and used Szego's theorem: this is almost certainly the route originally travelled by Onsager. For the corresponding problem in the superintegrable chiral Potts model, neither approach appears to work: here we show that the determinant D_PQ can be expressed as that of a product of two Cauchy-like matrices. One can then use the elementary exac…
The spontaneous magnetization of a two-dimensional lattice model can be expressed in terms of the partition function $W$ of a system with fixed boundary spins and an extra weight dependent on the value of a particular central spin. For the superintegrable case of the chiral Potts model with cylindrical boundary conditions, W can be expressed in terms of reduced hamiltonians H and a central spin operator S. We conjectured in a previous paper that W can be written as a determinant, similar to that of the Ising model. Here we generalize this conjecture to any Hamiltonians that satisfy a more gene…
We present transfer matrices for the zero-temperature partition function of the $q$-state Potts antiferromagnet (equivalently, the chromatic polynomial) on cyclic and Möbius strips of the square, triangular, and honeycomb lattices of width $L_y$ and arbitrarily great length $L_x$. We relate these results to our earlier exact solutions for square-lattice strips with $L_y=3,4,5$, triangular-lattice strips with $L_y=2,3,4$, and honeycomb-lattice strips with $L_y=2,3$ and periodic or twisted periodic boundary conditions. We give a general expression for the chromatic polynomial of a Möbius strip o…
The superintegrable chiral Potts model has many resemblances to the Ising model, so it is natural to look for algebraic properties similar to those found for the Ising model by Onsager, Kaufman and Yang. The spontaneous magnetization M_r can be written in terms of a sum over the elements of a matrix S_r. The author conjectured the form of the elements, and this conjecture has been verified by Iorgov et al. The author also conjectured in 2008 that this sum could be expressed as a determinant, and has recently evaluated the determinant to obtain the known result for M_r. Here we prove that the s…
The chiral spin-glass Potts system with q=3 states is studied in d=2 and 3 spatial dimensions by renormalization-group theory and the global phase diagrams are calculated in temperature, chirality concentration p, and chirality-breaking concentration c, with determination of phase chaos and phase-boundary chaos. In d=3, the system has ferromagnetic, left-chiral, right-chiral, chiral spin-glass, and disordered phases. The phase boundaries to the ferromagnetic, left- and right-chiral phases show, differently, an unusual, fibrous patchwork (microreentrances) of all four (ferromagnetic, left-chira…
We derive the free energy of the chiral Potts model by the infinite lattice ``inversion relation'' method. This method is non-rigorous in that it always needs appropriate analyticity assumptions. Guided by previous calculations based on exact finite-lattice functional relations, we find that in addition to the usual assumption that the free energy be analytic and bounded in some principal domain of the rapidity parameter space that includes the physical regime, we also need a much less obvious symmetry. We can then obtain the free energy by Wiener-Hopf factorization in the complex planes of ap…
The hamiltonian of the $N$-state superintegrable chiral Potts (SICP) model is written in terms of a coupled algebra defined by $N-1$ types of Temperley-Lieb generators. This generalises a previous result for $N=3$ obtained by J. F. Fjelstad and T. Månsson [J. Phys. A {\bf 45} (2012) 155208]. A pictorial representation of a related coupled algebra is given for the $N=3$ case which involves a generalisation of the pictorial presentation of the Temperley-Lieb algebra to include a pole around which loops can become entangled. For the two known representations of this algebra, the $N=3$ SICP chain …
We adapt our previous results for the ``partition function'' of the superintegrable chiral Potts model with open boundaries to obtain the corresponding matrix elements of e^{-αH}, where H is the associated hamiltonian. The spontaneous magnetization M_r can be expressed in terms of particular matrix elements of e^{-αH} S^r_1 \e^{-βH}, where S_1 is a diagonal matrix. We present a conjecture for these matrix elements as an m by m determinant, where m is proportional to the width of the lattice. The author has previously derived the spontaneous magnetization of the chiral Potts model by analytic me…
We derive spin operator matrix elements between general eigenstates of the superintegrable Z_N-symmetric chiral Potts quantum chain of finite length. Our starting point is the extended Onsager algebra recently proposed by R.Baxter. For each pair of spaces (Onsager sectors) of the irreducible representations of the Onsager algebra, we calculate the spin matrix elements between the eigenstates of the Hamiltonian of the quantum chain in factorized form, up to an overall scalar factor. This factor is known for the ground state Onsager sectors. For the matrix elements between the ground states of t…
Using the corner-transfer matrix renormalization group approach, we revisit the three-state chiral Potts model on the square lattice, a model proposed in the eighties to describe commensurate-incommensurate transitions at surfaces, and with direct relevance to recent experiments on chains of Rydberg atoms. This model was suggested by Huse and Fisher to have a chiral transition in the vicinity of the Potts point, a possibility that turned out to be very difficult to definitely establish or refute numerically. Our results confirm that the transition changes character at a Lifshitz point that sep…
In terms of the $\mathfrak{sl}_{2}$ loop algebra and the algebraic Bethe-ansatz method, we derive the invariant subspace associated with a given Ising-like spectrum consisting of $2^{r}$ eigenvalues of the diagonal-to-diagonal transfer matrix of the superintegrable chiral Potts (SCP) model with arbitrary inhomogeneous parameters. We show that every regular Bethe eigenstate of the $τ_2$-model leads to an Ising-like spectrum and is an eigenvector of the SCP transfer matrix which is given by the product of two diagonal-to-diagonal transfer matrices with a constraint on the spectral parameters. We…
In a recent paper we derived the free energy or partition function of the $N$-state chiral Potts model by using the infinite lattice ``inversion relation'' method, together with a non-obvious extra symmetry. This gave us three recursion relations for the partition function per site $T_{pq}$ of the infinite lattice. Here we use these recursion relations to obtain the full Riemann surface of $T_{pq}$. In terms of the $t_p, t_q$ variables, it consists of an infinite number of Riemann sheets, each sheet corresponding to a point on a $(2N-1)$-dimensional lattice (for $N > 2$). The function $T_{pq}$…
We considered Q-state Potts model on Bethe lattice in presence of external magnetic field for Q<2 by means of recursion relation technique. This allows to study the phase transition mechanism in terms of the obtained one dimensional rational mapping. The convergence of Feigenabaum $α$ and $δ$ exponents for the aforementioned mapping is investigated for the period doubling and three cyclic window. We regarded the Lyapunov exponent as an order parameter for the characterization of the model and discussed its dependence on temperature and magnetic field. Arnold tongues analogs with winding number…
