Let {X_n} be a sequence of analytic sets converging to some analytic set X in the sense of holomorphic chains. We introduce a condition which implies that every irreducible component of X is the limit of a sequence of irreducible components of the sets from {X_n}. Next we apply the condition to approximate a holomorphic solution y=f(x) of a system Q(x,y)=0 of Nash equations by Nash solutions. Presented methods allow to construct an algorithm of approximation of the holomorphic solutions.
This article deals with the multiple values and algebraic dependences problem of meromorphic mappings sharing moving hyperplanes in projective space. We give some algebraic dependences theorems for meromorphic mappings sharing moving hyperplanes without counting multiplicity, where all zeros with multiplicities more than a certain number are omitted. Basing on these results, some unicity theorems regardless of multiplicity for meromorphic mappings in several complex variables are given. These results are extensions and strong improvements of some recent results.
In this paper, we prove some difference analogue of second main theorems of meromorphic mapping from Cm into an algebraic variety V intersecting a finite set of fixed hypersurfaces in subgeneral position. As an application, we prove a result on algebraically degenerate of holomorphic curves intersecting hypersurfaces and difference analogue of Picard's theorem on holomorphic curves. Furthermore, we obtain a second main theorem of meromorphic mappings intersecting hypersurfaces in N-subgeneral position for Veronese embedding in Pn(C) and a uniqueness theorem sharing hypersurfaces.
Let $M$ be a complete Kähler manifold, whose universal covering is biholomorphic to a ball $\mathbb B^m(R_0)$ in $\mathbb C^m$ ($0<R_0\le +\infty$). Our first aim in this paper is to study the algebraic dependence problem of differentiably meromorphic mappings. We will show that if $k$ differentibility nondegenerate meromorphic mappings $f^1,\ldots,f^k$ of $M$ into $\mathbb P^n(\mathbb C)\ (n\ge 2)$ satisfying the condition $(C_ρ)$ and sharing few hyperplanes in subgeneral position regardless of multiplicity then $f^1\wedge\cdots\wedge f^k\equiv 0$. For the second aim, we will show that there …
We completely describe the asymptotic behaviour of the Riemann mapping function and its derivatives at an analytic cusp. We achieve the same for the inverse of the mapping function.
In this paper, we study non sense-preserving harmonic mappings $f=h+\overline{g}$ in $\mathbb{D}$ when its analytic part $h$ is convex and injective in $\mathbb{D}$ and obtain radius of injectivety.
We prove that a meromorphic mapping, which sends a peace of a real analytic strictly pseudoconvex hypersurface in $\cc^2$ to a compact subset of $\cc^N$ which doesn't contain germs of non-constant complex curves is continuous from the concave side of the hypersurface. This implies the analytic continuability along CR-paths of germs of holomorphic mappings from real analytic hypersurfaces with non-vanishing Levi form to the locally spherical ones in all dimensions.
It is known that every germ of an analytic set is homeomorphic to the germ of an algebraic set. In this paper we show that the homeomorphism can be chosen in such a way that the analytic and algebraic germs are tangent with any prescribed order of tangency. Moreover, the space of arcs contained in the algebraic germ approximates the space of arcs contained in the analytic one, in the sense that they are identical up to a prescribed truncation order.
In this paper we give a generalization and improvement of the Pavlović result on the characterization of continuously differentiable functions in the Bloch space on the unit ball in $\mathbb{R}^m$. Then we derive a Holland--Walsh type theorem for analytic normal mappings on the unit disk.
We investigate harmonic mappings $f=h+\bar{g}$ defined in the unit disk, where $g$ and $h$ satisfy certain prescribed conditions and the analytic part $h$ belongs to the Ma and Minda class of starlike functions. Certain sharp radius results for univalency, close-to-convexity, fully starlikeness, fully convexity, and radius of strongly starlikeness are established. We also calculate the radius of uniformly starlikeness and convexity for these functions. Several results enhance the well-known radius results.
Let $M\subset \mathbb C^n$ be a real analytic hypersurface, $M'\subset \mathbb C^N$ $(N\geq n)$ be a strongly pseudoconvex real algebraic hypersurface of the special form and $F$ be a meromorphic mapping in a neighborhood of a point $p\in M$ which is holomorphic in one side of $M$. Assuming some additional conditions for the mapping $F$ on the hypersurface $M$, we proved that $F$ has a holomorphic extension to $p$. This result may be used to show the regularity of CR mappings between real hypersurfaces of different dimensions.
In this paper, we establish three new versions of Landau-type theorems for bounded bi-analytic functions of the form $F(z)=\bar{z}G(z)+H(z)$, where $G$ and $H$ are analytic in the unit disk $|z|<1$ with $G(0)=H(0)=0$ and $H'(0)=1$. In particular, two of them are sharp while the other one either generalizes or improves the corresponding result of Abdulhadi and Hajj. As consequences, several new sharp versions of Landau-type theorems for certain subclasses of bounded biharmonic mappings are proved.
In the paper, we deal with the problem of getting analytic continuations for the monomial function associated with a solution to the reduced trinomial algebraic system. In particular, we develop the idea of applying the Mellin-Barnes integral representation of the monomial function for solving the extension problem and demonstrate how to achieve the same result following the fact that the solution to the universal trinomial system is polyhomogeneous. As a main result, we construct Puiseux expansions (centred at the origin) representing analytic continuations of the monomial function.
In this paper, we obtain the upper bounds to the third Hankel determinants for starlike functions of order $α$, convex functions of order $α$ and bounded turning functions of order $α$. Furthermore, several relevant results on a new subclass of close-to-convex harmonic mappings are obtained. Connections of the results presented here to those that can be found in the literature are also discussed.
In the present paper, we will study geometric properties of harmonic mappings whose analytic and co-analytic parts are (shifted) generated functions of completely monotone sequences.
In this article, a subclass of univalent harmonic mapping is introduced by restricting its analytic part to lie in the class $\mathcal{S}^δ[α]$, $0\leq α< 1$, $-\infty < δ< \infty$ which has been introduced and studied by Kumar \cite{Kumar87} (see also \cite{Mishra95}, \cite{MishraChoudhury95}, \cite{MishraDas96}, \cite{MishraGochhayat06}). Coefficient estimations, growth and distortion properties, area theorem and covering estimates of functions in the newly defined class have been established. Furthermore, we also found bounds for the Bloch's constant for all functions in that family.
The paper is devoted to the study of compositions of polyharmonic mappings in simply connected domains. More precisely, we determine necessary and sufficient conditions of polyharmonic mapping $f$ such that $f\circ F$ (resp. $F\circ f$) is $l$-harmonic for any analytic function (or harmonic mapping but not analytic, or $q$-harmonic mapping but not $(q-1)$-harmonic) $F$.
The germ of the universal isomonodromic deformation of a logarithmic connection on a stable n-pointed genus g curve always exists in the analytic category. The first part of this paper investigates under which conditions it is the analytic germification of an algebraic isomonodromic deformation. Up to some minor technical conditions, this turns out to be the case if and only if the monodromy of the connection has finite orbit under the action of the mapping class group. The second part of this paper studies the dynamics of this action in the particular case of reducible rank 2 representations …
In this article, we determine two point distortion theorem and sharp coefficient estimates for the families of close-to-convex harmonic mappings whose analytic part is a convex function of order $α$. By making use of these results, we determine the radius of univalence of sections of these families in terms of zeros of certain equation. Lower bound for the radius of univalence has been obtained explicitly for the case $α= 1/2$. Comparison of radius of univalence of the sections have been shown by providing a table of numerical estimates for the special choices of $α$.
We study harmonic mappings of the form $f(z) = h(z) - \overline{z}$, where $h$ is an analytic function. In particular we are interested in the index (a generalized multiplicity) of the zeros of such functions. Outside the critical set of $f$, where the Jacobian of $f$ is non-vanishing, it is known that this index has similar properties as the classical multiplicity of zeros of analytic functions. Little is known about the index of zeros on the critical set, where the Jacobian vanishes; such zeros are called singular zeros. Our main result is a characterization of the index of singular zeros, w…
We prove that any complex or real analytic set or function germ is topologically equivalent to a germ defined by polynomial equations whose coefficients are algebraic numbers.
It is proved that flatness of an analytic mapping germ from a complete intersection is determined by its sufficiently high jet. As a consequence, one obtains finite determinacy of complete intersections. It is also shown that flatness and openness are stable under deformations.
We study real bihomogeneous polynomials $r(z,\bar{z})$ in $n$ complex variables for which $r(z,\bar{z}) \|z\|^2$ is the squared norm of a holomorphic polynomial mapping. Such polynomials are the focus of the Sum of Squares Conjecture, which describes the possible ranks for the squared norm $r(z,\bar{z}) \|z\|^2$ and has important implications for the study of proper holomorphic mappings between balls in complex Euclidean spaces of different dimension. Questions about the possible signatures for $r(z,\bar{z})$ and the rank of $r(z,\bar{z}) \|z\|^2$ can be reformulated as questions about polynom…
We give a partial answer to a question attributed to Chris Miller on algebraic values of certain transcendental functions of order less than one. We obtain C(logH)^n bounds for the number of algebraic points of height at most H on certain subsets of the graphs of such functions. The constant C and exponent n depend on certain data associated with the functions and can be effectively computed from them.
We study the holomorphic extendibility of $\text{Op}(p)u$, when $p$ is an analytic symbol, and explicit information is available on the domains of holomorphic extendibility of both $p$ and $u$. By a contour deformation argument, we obtain a precise local estimate of the domain of holomorphy of $\text{Op}(p)u$ in terms of the information on $p$ and $u$.
Here we construct the conformal mappings with the help of continuous fractions approximations. These approximations converge to the algebraic roots $\sqrt[N]{z}$ for $N \in \mathbb{N}$ and $z$ from the right half-plane of the complex plane. We estimate both the convergence rate and the compact set of convergence. Also we give the examples that illustrate the introduced technique of a conformal mapping construction.
