In this paper we discuss classical elliptic current algebras and show that there are two different choices of commutative test function algebras on a complex torus leading to two different elliptic current algebras. Quantization of these classical current algebras give rise to two classes of quantized dynamical quasi-Hopf current algebras studied by Enriquez-Felder-Rubtsov and Arnaudon-Buffenoir-Ragoucy-Roche-Jimbo-Konno-Odake-Shiraishi. Different degenerations of the classical elliptic algebras are considered. They yield different versions of rational and trigonometric current algebras. We also review the averaging method of Faddeev-Reshetikhin, which allows to restore elliptic algebras from the trigonometric ones.
The Ding-Iohara algebra is a quantum algebra arising from the free field realization of the Macdonald operator. Starting from the elliptic kernel function introduced by Komori, Noumi and Shiraishi, we can define an elliptic analog of the Ding-Iohara algebra. The free field realization of the elliptic Macdonald operator is also constructed.
We associate elliptic affine Lie algebras with what are called vertex $\C((z))$-algebras and their modules in a certain category. In the course, we construct two families of Lie algebras closely related to elliptic affine Lie algebras.
The elliptic Ding-Iohara algebra is an elliptic quantum group obtained from the free field realization of the elliptic Macdonald operator. In this article, we show the construction of two families of commuting operators which contain the elliptic Macdonald operator by using the elliptic Ding-Iohara algebra and the elliptic Feigin-Odesskii algebra.
In the paper [J. Math. Phys. 50 (2009), 095215, 42 pages, arXiv:0904.2291], Feigin, Hashizume, Hoshino, Shiraishi, and Yanagida constructed two families of commuting operators which contain the Macdonald operator (commutative families of the Macdonald operator). They used the Ding-Iohara-Miki algebra and the trigonometric Feigin-Odesskii algebra. In the previous paper [arXiv:1301.4912], the present author constructed the elliptic Ding-Iohara-Miki algebra and the free field realization of the elliptic Macdonald operator. In this paper, we show that by using the elliptic Ding-Iohara-Miki algebra…
A new definition of the elliptic algebra U_{q,p}(g^) associated with an untwisted affine Lie algebra g^ is given as a topological algebra over the ring of formal power series in p. We also introduce a quantum dynamical analogue of Lepowsky-Wilson's Z-algebras. The Z-algebra governs the irreducibility of the infinite dimensional U_{q,p}(g^)-modules. Some level-1 examples indicate a direct connection of the irreducible U_{q,p}(g^)-modules to those of the W-algebras associated with the coset g^ \oplus g^ \supset (g^)_{diag} with level (r-g-1,1) (g:the dual Coxeter number), which includes Fateev- …
In this paper, we study the elliptic Kashiwara-Vergne Lie Algebra $\mathfrak{krv}$, which is a certain Lie subalgebra of the Lie algebra of derivations of the free Lie algebra in two generators. It has a natural bigrading, such that the Lie bracket is of bidegree $(-1,-1)$. After recalling the graphical interpretation of this Lie algebra, we examine low degree elements of $\mathfrak{krv}$. More precisely, we find that $\mathfrak{krv}^{(2,j)}$ is one-dimensional for even $j$ and zero $j$ odd. We also compute $\operatorname{dim}(\mathfrak{krv})^{(3,m)} = \lfloor\frac{m-1}{2}\rfloor - \lfloor\fra…
We construct a realization of the elliptic quantum algebra $U_{q,p}(\hat{sl_N})$ for any given level $k$ in terms of free boson fields and their twisted partners. It can be considered as the elliptic deformation of the Wakimoto realization of the quantum affine algebra $U_{q}(\hat{sl_N})$. We also construct a family of screening currents, which commute with the currents of $U_{q,p}(\hat{sl_N})$ up to total q-differences. And we give explicit twisted expressions for the type $I$ and the type $II$ vertex operators of $U_{q,p}(\hat{sl_N})$ by twisting the known results of the type $I$ vertex oper…
This is an exposition in order to give an explicit way to understand (1) a non-topological proof for an existence of a base of an affine root system, (2) a Serre-type definition of an elliptic Lie algebra with rank =>2, and (3) the isotropic root multiplicities of those elliptic Lie algebras.
We construct Hall algebra of elliptic curve over $\mathbb{F}_1$ using the theory of monoidal scheme due to Deitmar and the theory of Hall algebra for monoidal representations due to Szczesny. The resulting algebra is shown to be a specialization of elliptic Hall algebra studied by Burban and Schiffmann. Thus our algebra is isomorphic to the skein algebra for torus by the recent work of Morton and Samuelson.
In \cite{S} O. Schiffmann gave a presentation of the Drinfel'd double of the elliptic Hall algebra which is similar in spirit to Drinfel'd's new realization of quantum affine algebras. Using this result together with a part of his proof we can provide such a description for the elliptic Hall algebra.
We consider the motivic Hall algebra of coherent sheaves over an irreducible reduced projective curve of arithmetic genus $1$. We introduce the composition subalgebra in the singular curve case, and show that it is isomorphic to the composition subalgebra for a smooth elliptic curve. As in the case of smooth elliptic case studied by Burban and Schiffmann, the reduced Drinfeld double of the composition subalgebra is isomorphic to the quantum toroidal algebra for $\mathfrak{gl}_1$ (also called Ding-Iohara-Miki algebra), and it inherits automorphisms induced from equivalences of the associated de…
We give a new presentation of the Drinfeld double of the elliptic Hall algebra introduced in a previous work with I. Burban. This presentation is similar in spirit to Drinfeld's `new realization' of quantum affine algebras. This answers, in the case of elliptic curves, a question of Kapranov concerning functional relations satisfied by (principal, unramified) Eisenstein series for the groups GL(n) over a function field. It also provides proofs of some recent conjectures of Feigin, Feigin, Jimbo, Miwa and Mukhin.
We recall the definitions of two independently defined elliptic versions of the Kashiwara-Vergne Lie algebra $\frak{krv}$, namely the Lie algebra $\frak{krv}^{(1,1)}$ constructed by A.Alekseev, N.Kawazumi, Y.Kuno and F.Naef arising from the study of graded formality isomorphisms associated to topological fundamental groups of surfaces, and the Lie algebra $\frak{krv}_{ell}$ defined using mould theoretic techniques arising from multiple zeta theory by E.Raphael and L.Schneps, and show that they coincide.
We define elliptic generalization of W-algebras associated with arbitrary quiver using the formalism of arXiv:1512.08533 applied to six-dimensional quiver gauge theory compactified on elliptic curve.
In this paper we compute the convolution algebra in the equivariant K-theory of the Hilbert scheme of A^2. We show that it is isomorphic to the elliptic Hall algebra, and hence to the spherical DAHA of GL_\infty. We explain this coincidence via the geometric Langlands correspondence for elliptic curves, by relating it also to the convolution algebra in the equivariant K-theory of the commuting variety. We also obtain a few other related results (action of the elliptic Hall algebra on the K-theory of the moduli space of framed torsion free sheaves over P^2, virtual fundamental classes, shuffle …
We study the chiral homology of elliptic curves with coefficients in a quasiconformal vertex algebra. Our main result expresses the nodal curve limit of the first chiral homology group in terms of the Hochschild homology of the Zhu algebra of V. A technical result of independent interest regarding the equivalence between the associated graded with respect to Li's filtration and the arc space of the C_2 algebra is presented.
We introduce the quantum determinant for the elliptic quantum algebra $\mathcal{A}_{q,p}(\mathfrak{\widehat{gl}}_N)$ and prove that it generates the center of this algebra.
We give a generators and relations presentation of the HOMFLYPT skein algebra $H$ of the torus $T^2$, and we give an explicit description of the module corresponding to the solid torus. Using this presentation, we show that $H$ is isomorphic to the $t=q$ specialization of the elliptic Hall algebra of Burban and Schiffmann [BS12]. As an application, for an iterated cable $K$ of the unknot, we use the elliptic Hall algebra to construct a 3-variable polynomial that specializes to the $λ$-colored Homflypt polynomial of $K$. We show that this polynomial also specializes to one constructed by Chered…
We introduce a new elliptic quantum toroidal algebra $U_{q,t,p}(gl_{1,tor})$. Various representations in the quantum toroidal algebra $U_{q,t}(gl_{1,tor})$ are extended to the elliptic case including the level (0,0) representation realized by using the elliptic Ruijsenaars difference operator. Intertwining operators of $U_{q,t,p}(gl_{1,tor})$-modules w.r.t. the Drinfeld comultiplication are also constructed. We show that $U_{q,t,p}(gl_{1,tor})$ gives a realization of the affine quiver $W$-algebra $W_{q,t}(Γ(\widehat{A}_0))$ proposed by Kimura-Pestun. This realization turns out to be useful to …
We give an explicit description of the trace, or Hochschild homology, of the quantum Heisenberg category defined by Licata and Savage. We also show that as an algebra, it is isomorphic to "half" of a central extension of the elliptic Hall algebra of Burban and Schiffmann, specialized at $σ= \barσ^{-1} = q$. A key step in the proof may be of independent interest: we show that the sum (over $n$) of the Hochschild homologies of the positive affine Hecke algebras $\mathrm{AH}_n^+$ is again an algebra, and that this algebra injects into both the elliptic Hall algebra and the trace of the $q$-Heisen…
We revisit the construction of deformed Virasoro algebras from elliptic quantum algebras of vertex type, generalizing the bilinear trace procedure proposed in the 90's. It allows us to make contact with the vertex operator techniques that were introduced separately at the same period. As a by-product, the method pinpoints two critical values of the central charge for which the center of the algebra is extended, as well as (in the $gl(2)$ case) a Liouville formula.
We give a construction of an affine Hecke algebra associated to any Coxeter group acting on an abelian variety by reflections; in the case of an affine Weyl group, the result is an elliptic analogue of the usual double affine Hecke algebra. As an application, we use a variant of the $\tilde{C}_n$ version of the construction to construct a flat noncommutative deformation of the $n$th symmetric power of any rational surface with a smooth anticanonical curve, and give a further construction which conjecturally is a corresponding deformation of the Hilbert scheme of points.
We construct a flat connection on the elliptic configuration space associated to any complex semisimple Lie algebra g. This elliptic Casimir connection has logarithmic singularities, and takes values in the deformed double current algebra of g defined by Guay. It degenerates to the trigonometric Casimir connection of g constructed by the first author. By analogy with the rational and trigonometric cases, we conjecture that the monodromy of the elliptic Casimir connection is described by the quantum Weyl group operators of the quantum toroidal algebra of g.
The quiver Yangian, an infinite-dimensional algebra introduced recently in arXiv:2003.08909, is the algebra underlying BPS state counting problems for toric Calabi-Yau three-folds. We introduce trigonometric and elliptic analogues of quiver Yangians, which we call toroidal quiver algebras and elliptic quiver algebras, respectively. We construct the representations of the shifted toroidal and elliptic algebras in terms of the statistical model of crystal melting. We also derive the algebras and their representations from equivariant localization of three-dimensional $\mathcal{N}=2$ supersymmetr…
This paper examines a general method for producing twists of a comodule algebra by tensoring it with a torsor then taking co-invariants. We examine the properties that pass from the original algebra to the twisted algebra and vice versa. We then examine the special case where the algebra is a 4-dimensional Sklyanin algebra viewed as a comodule algebra over the Hopf algebra of functions on the non-cyclic group of order 4 with the torsor being the 2x2 matrix algebra. The twisted algebra is an "exotic elliptic algebra". We show that the twisted algebra has many of the good properties that the Skl…
