We suggest a formula for quantum universal $R$-matrices corresponding to quasitriangular classical $r$-matrices classified by Belavin and Drinfeld for all simple Lie algebras. The $R$-matrices are obtained by twisting the standard universal $R$-matrix.
In this note we define geometric classical r-matrices and quantum R-matrices, and show how any geometric classical r-matrix can be quantized to a geometric quantum R-matrix. This is one of the simplest nontrivial examples of quantization of solutions of the classical Yang-Baxter equation, which can be explicitly computed.
Poisson-Lie (PL) dynamical r-matrices are generalizations of dynamical r-matrices, where the base is a Poisson-Lie group. We prove analogues of basic results for these r-matrices, namely constructions of (quasi)Poisson groupoids and of Poisson homogeneous spaces. We introduce a class of PL dynamical r-matrices, associated to nondegenerate Lie bialgebras with a splitting; this is a generalization of trigonometric r-matrices with an abelian base. We prove a composition theorem for PL dynamical r-matrices, and construct quantizations of the polarized PL dynamical r-matrices. This way, we obtain q…
Solutions of the classical dynamical Yang-Baxter equation on a Lie superalgebra are called super dynamical r-matrices. In this note we explicitly quantize zero-weight super dynamical r-matrices with zero coupling constant. We also answer some questions about super dynamical R-matrices. In particular we offer some support for one particular interpretation of the super Hecke condition.
We construct some classes of dynamical $r$-matrices over a nonabelian base, and quantize some of them by constructing dynamical (pseudo)twists in the sense of Xu. This way, we obtain quantizations of $r$-matrices obtained in earlier work of the second author with Schiffmann and Varchenko. A part of our construction may be viewed as a generalization of the Donin-Mudrov nonabelian fusion construction. We apply these results to the construction of equivariant star-products on Poisson homogeneous spaces, which include some homogeneous spaces introduced by De Concini.
Motivated by the correspondence between the vertex and IRF models in statistical mechanics, we define and study a notion of vertex-IRF transformation for dynamical twists that generalizes a usual gauge transformation. We use vertex-IRF transformations to quantize all completely degenerate dynamical r-matrices on finite-dimensional Lie algebras.
Let $(g,δ_\hbar)$ be a Lie bialgebra. Let $(U_\hbar(g),Δ_\hbar)$ a quantization of $(g,δ_\hbar)$ through Etingof-Kazhdan functor. We prove the existence of a $L_\infty$-morphism between the Lie algebra $C(\g)=Λ(g)$ and the tensor algebra $TU=T(U_\hbar(g)[-1])$ with Lie algebra structure given by the Gerstenhaber bracket. When $(g,δ_\hbar,r)$ is a coboundary Lie bialgebra, we deduce from the formality morphism the existence of a quantization $R$ of $r$.
In this paper we prove the existence of a formal dynamical twist quantization for any triangular and non-modified formal classical dynamical $r$-matrix in the reductive case. The dynamical twist is constructed as the image of the dynamical $r$-matrix by a $L_\infty$-quasi-isomorphism. This quasi-isomorphism also allows us to classify formal dynamical twist quantizations up to gauge equivalence.
We check The Vaisman condition of geometric quantization for R-matrix type Poisson pencil on a coadjoint orbit of a compact Lie group. It is shown that this condition isn't satisfied.
In this paper we explicitly attach to a geometric classical r-matrix $r$ (not necessarily unitary), a geometric (i.e., set-theoretical) quantum R-matrix $R$, which is a quantization of $r$. To accomplish this, we use the language of bijective cocycle 7-tuples, developed by A. Soloviev in the study of set-theoretical quantum R-matrices. Namely, we define a classical version of bijective cocycle 7-tuples, and show that there is a bijection between them and geometric classical r-matrices. Then we show how any classical bijective cocycle 7-tuple can be quantized, and finally use Soloviev's constru…
In this paper we quantize symplectic dynamical r-matrices over a possibly nonabelian base. The proof is based on the fact that the existence of a star-product with a nice property (called strong invariance) is sufficient for the existence of a quantization. We also classify such quantizations and prove a quantum analogue of the classical composition formula for coboundary dynamical r-matrices.
We provide a general study for triangular dynamical r-matrices using Poisson geometry. We show that a triangular dynamical r-matrix always gives rise to a regular Poisson manifold. Using the Fedosov method, we prove that non-degenerate (i.e., the corresponding Poisson manifolds are symplectic) triangular dynamical r-matrices (over $ \frakh^* $ and valued in $\wedge^{2}\frakg$) are quantizable, and the quantization is classified by the relative Lie algebra cohomology $H^{2}(\frakg, \frakh)[[\hbar ]]$. We also generalize this quantization method to splittable triangular dynamical r-matrices, whi…
Le $X$ be a $C^\infty$-manifold and $\g$ be a finite dimensional Lie algebra acting freely on $X$. Let $r \in \ve^2(\g)$ be such that $Z=[r,r] \in \ve^3(\g)^\g$. In this paper we prove that every quasi-Poisson $(\g,Z)$-manifold can be quantized. This is a generalization of the existence of a twist quantization of coboundary Lie bialgebras (\cite{EH}) in the case $X=G$ (where $G$ is the simply connected Lie group corresponding to $\g$). We deduce our result from a generalized formality theorem. In the case Z=0, we get a new proof of the existence of (equivariant) formality theorem and so (equiv…
All coboundary Lie bialgebras and their corresponding Poisson--Lie structures are constructed for the oscillator algebra generated by $\{å,\ap,\am,\bb\}$. Quantum oscillator algebras are derived from these bialgebras by using the Lyakhovsky and Mudrov formalism and, for some cases, quantizations at both algebra and group levels are obtained, including their universal $R$--matrices.
We define cluster $R$-matrices as sequences of mutations in triangular grid quivers on a cylinder, and show that the affine geometric $R$-matrix of symmetric power representations for the quantum affine algebra $U_q^\prime(\hat{\mathfrak{sl}}_n)$ can be obtained from our cluster $R$-matrix. A quantization of the affine geometric $R$-matrix is defined, compatible with the cluster structure. We construct invariants of the quantum affine geometric $R$-matrix as quantum loop symmetric functions.
We provide an explicit quantization of dynamical r-matrices for semisimple Lie algebras, classified earlier by the third author, which includes the Belavin-Drinfeld r-matrices. We do so by constructing an appropriate (dynamical) twist in the tensor square of the Drinfeld-Jimbo quantum group U_q(g), which twists the R-matrix of U_q(g) into the desired quatization. The construction of this twist is based on the method stemming from the work of Jimbo-Konno-Odake-Shiraishi and Arnaudon-Buffenoir-Ragoucy-Roche, i.e. on defining the twist as a unique solution of a suitable difference equation. This …
We propose a method of quantization of certain Lie bialgebra structures on the polynomial Lie algebras related to quasi-trigonometric solutions of the classical Yang--Baxter equation. The method is based on an affine realization of certain seaweed algebras and their quantum analogues. We also propose a method of $ω$-affinization, which enables us to quantize rational $r$-matrices of $\mathfrak{sl}(3)$.
We propose a method of quantization of certain Lie bialgebra structures on the polynomial Lie algebras related to quasi-trigonometric solutions of the classical Yang-Baxter equation. The method is based on so-called affinization of certain seaweed algebras and their quantum analogues.
We quantize the Alekseev-Meinrenken solution r to the classical dynamical Yang-Baxter equation, associated to a Lie algebra g with an element t in S^2(g)^g. Namely, we construct a dynamical twist J with nonabelian base in the sense of P. Xu, whose quasiclassical limit is r-t/2. This twist gives rise to a dynamical quantum R-matrix, and also provides a quantization of the quasi-Poisson manifold and Poisson groupoid associated to r. The twist J is obtained by an appropriate renormalization of the Knizhnik-Zamolodchikov associator for g, introduced by Drinfeld.
In the framework of deformation quantization we define formal KMS states on the deformed algebra of power series of functions with compact support in phase space as C[[λ]]-linear functionals obeying a formal variant of the usual KMS condition known in the theory of C^*-algebras. We show that for each temperature KMS states always exist and are up to a normalization equal to the trace of the argument multiplied by a formal analogue of the usual Boltzmann factor, a certain formal star exponential.
An explicit quantization is given of certain skew-symmetric solutions of the classical Yang-Baxter, yielding a family of $R$-matrices which generalize to higher dimensions the Jordanian $R$-matrices. Three different approaches to their construction are given: as twists of degenerations of the Shibukawa-Ueno Yang-Baxter operators on meromorphic functions; as boundary solutions of the quantum Yang-Baxter equation; via a vertex-IRF transformation from solutions to the dynamical Yang-Baxter equation.
An L operator is presented related to an infinite dimensional limit of the fusion R matrices for U_q(A^{(1)}_{n-1}) and U_q(D^{(1)}_n). It is factorized into the local propagation operators which quantize the deterministic dynamics of particles and antiparticles in the soliton cellular automata known as the box-ball systems and their generalizations. Some properties of the dynamical amplitudes are also investigated.
Motivated by deformation quantization we investigate the algebraic GNS construction of *-representations of deformed *-algebras over ordered rings and compute their classical limit. The question if a GNS representation can be deformed leads to the deformation of positive linear functionals. Various physical examples from deformation quantization like the Bargmann-Fock and the Schr{ö}dinger representation as well as KMS functionals are discussed.
In this paper we consider the representation theory of a non-standard quantization of sl(2). This paper contains several results which have applications in quantum topology, including the classification of projective indecomposable modules and a description of morphisms between them. In the process of proving these results the paper acts as a survey of the known representation theory associated to this non-standard quantization of sl(2). The results of this paper are used extensively in [arXiv:1404.7289] to study Topological Quantum Field Theory (TQFT) and have connections with Conformal Field…
We prove Bergman's theorem on centralizers by using generic matrices and Kontsevich's quantization method. For any field $\textbf{k} $ of positive characteristics, set $A=\textbf{k} \langle x_1,\dots,x_s\rangle$ be a free associative algebra, then any centralizer $\mathcal{C}(f)$ of nontrivial element $f\in A\backslash \textbf{k}$ is a ring of polynomials on a single variable. We also prove that there is no commutative subalgebra with transcendent degree $\geq 2$ of $A$.

We study classical twists of Lie bialgebra structures on the polynomial current algebra $\mathfrak{g}[u]$, where $\mathfrak{g}$ is a simple complex finite-dimensional Lie algebra. We focus on the structures induced by the so-called quasi-trigonometric solutions of the classical Yang-Baxter equation. It turns out that quasi-trigonometric $r$-matrices fall into classes labelled by the vertices of the extended Dynkin diagram of $\mathfrak{g}$. We give complete classification of quasi-trigonometric $r$-matrices belonging to multiplicity free simple roots (which have coefficient 1 in the decomposit…
Hopf algebra quantizations of 4-dimensional and 6-dimensional real classical Drinfel'd doubles are studied by following a direct "analytic" approach. The full quantization is explicitly obtained for most of the Drinfel'd doubles, except a small number of them for which the dual Lie algebra is either sl(2) or so(3). In the latter cases, the classical r-matrices underlying the Drinfel'd double quantizations contain known standard ones plus additional twists. Several new four and six-dimensional quantum algebras are presented and some general features of the method are emphasized.
Contrary to the classical methods of quantum mechanics, the deformation quantization can be carried out on phase spaces which are not even topological manifolds. In particular, the Moyal star product gives rise to a canonical functor $F$ from the category of affine analytic spaces to the category of associative (in general, non-commutative) $\C$-algebras. Curiously, if $X$ is the $n$-tuple point, $x^{n}=0$, then $F(X)$ is the algebra of $n\times n$ matrices.
In this paper we use the Etingof-Kazhdan quantization of Lie bi-superalgebras to investigate some interesting questions related to Drinfeld-Jimbo type superalgebra associated to a Lie superalgebra of classical type. It has been shown that the D-J type superalgebra associated to a Lie superalgebra of type A-G, with the distinguished Cartan matrix, is isomorphic to the E-K quantization of the Lie superalgebra. The first main result in the present paper is to extend this to arbitrary Cartan matrices. This paper also contains two other main results: 1) a theorem stating that all highest weight mod…
This paper is a continuation of [KS]. We develop the results of [KS] principally in two directions. First, we generalize the main result of [KS], the connection between the solutions of the classical dynamical Yang-Baxter equation and Poisson homogeneous spaces of Poisson Lie groups. We hope that now we present this result in its natural generality. Secondly, we propose a partial quantization of the results of [KS]. [KS] E. Karolinsky and A. Stolin, Classical dynamical r-matrices, Poisson homogeneous spaces, and Lagrangian subalgebras, Lett. Math. Phys., 60 (2002), p.257-274; e-print math.QA/0…
We compute the Poisson bracket relations for the monodromy matrix of the auxiliary linear problem. If the basic Poisson bracket relations of the model contain derivatives, this computation leads to a peculiar type of symmetry breaking which accounts for a 'spontaneous quantization of the underlying global gauge group. A classification of possible patterns of symmetry breaking is outlined.
The canonical quantization of the chiral Wess-Zumino-Novikov-Witten (WZNW) monodromy matrices (both the diagonal and the general one) requires additional numerical factors that can be attributed to renormalization. We discuss, for G=SU(n), the field-theoretic and algebraic aspects of this phenomenon and show that these renormalization factors are compatible with the natural definitions of quantum determinants possessing the factorization property (i.e., the determinant of a product is equal to the product of determinants, which is a non-trivial fact for matrices with non-commuting entries).
