We consider the space of linear maps from a coassociative coalgebra C into a Lie algebra L. Unless C has a cocommutative coproduct, the usual symmetry properties of the induced bracket on Hom(C,L) fail to hold. We define the concept of twisted domain (TD) algebras in order to recover the symmetries and also construct a modified Chevalley-Eilenberg complex in order to define the cohomology of such algebras.
Let TA denote the space underlying the tensor algebra of a vector space A. In this short note, we show that if A is a differential graded algebra, then TA is a differential Batalin-Vilkovisky algebra. Moreover, if A is an A-infinity algebra, then TA is a commutative BV-infinity algebra.
Representations of color Hom-Lie algebras are reviewed, and it is shown that there exist a series of coboundary operators. We also introduce the notion of a color omni-Hom-Lie algebra associated to a vector space and an even invertible linear map. We show how regular color Hom-Lie algebra structures on a vector space can be characterized. Moreover, it is shown that the underlying algebraic structure of the color omni-Hom-Lie algebra is a color Hom-Leibniz algebra.
Classes of $G$-Hom-associative algebras are constructed as deformations of $G$-associative algebras along algebra endomorphisms. As special cases, we obtain Hom-associative and Hom-Lie algebras as deformations of associative and Lie algebras, respectively, along algebra endomorphisms. Chevalley-Eilenberg type homology for Hom-Lie algebras are also constructed.
We studied both the double cross product and the bicrossproduct constructions for the Hom-Hopf algebras of general $(α,β)$-type. This allows us to consider the universal enveloping Hom-Hopf algebras of Hom-Lie algebras, which are of $(α,{\rm Id})$-type. We show that the universal enveloping Hom-Hopf algebras of a matched pair of Hom-Lie algebras form a matched pair of Hom-Hopf algebras. We observe also that, the semi-dualization of a double cross product Hom-Hopf algebra is a bicrossproduct Hom-Hopf algebra. In particular, we apply this result to the universal enveloping Hom-Hopf algebras of a…
Concepts of first order differential calculus (FODC) on a monoidal Hom-algebra and left-covariant FODC over a left Hom-quantum space with respect to a monoidal Hom-Hopf algebra are presented. Then, extension of the universal FODC over a monoidal Hom-algebra to a universal Hom-differential calculus is described. Next, concepts of left(right)-covariant and bicovariant FODC over a monoidal Hom-Hopf algebra are studied in detail. Subsequently, notion of quantum Hom-tangent space associated to a bicovariant Hom-FODC is introduced and equipped with an analogue of Lie bracket (commutator) through Wor…
We study Hom-bialgebras and objects admitting coactions by Hom-bialgebras. In particular, we construct a Hom-bialgebra M representing the functor of 2x2-matrices on Hom-associative algebras. Then we construct a Hom-algebra analogue of the affine plane and show that it is a comodule Hom-algebra over M in a suitable sense. It is also shown that the enveloping Hom-associative algebra of a Hom-Lie algebra is naturally a Hom-bialgebra.
In this paper the universal enveloping algebra of color hom-Lie algebras is studied. A construction of the free involutive hom-associative color algebra on a hom-module is described and applied to obtain the universal enveloping algebra of an involutive hom-Lie color algebra. Finally, the construction is applied to obtain the well-known Poincar{é}-Birkhoff-Witt theorem for Lie algebras to the enveloping algebra of an involutive color hom-Lie algebra.
The aim of this paper is to extend to Hom-algebra structures the theory of formal deformations of algebras which was introduced by Gerstenhaber for associative algebras and extended to Lie algebras by Nijenhuis-Richardson. We deal with Hom-associative and Hom-Lie algebras. We construct the first groups of a deformation cohomology and give several examples of deformations. We provide families of Hom-Lie algebras deforming Lie algebra $sl_2$ and describe as formal deformations the q-deformed Witt algebra and Jackson $sl_2$.
A Hom-type algebra is called involutive if its Hom map is multiplicative and involutive. In this paper, we obtain an explicit construction of the free involutive Hom-associative algebra on a Hom-module. We then apply this construction to obtain the universal enveloping algebra of an involutive Hom-Lie algebra. Finally we obtain a Poincaré-Birkhoff-Witt theorem for the enveloping associative algebra of an involutive Hom-Lie algebra.
The aim of this paper is to generalize the concept of Lie-admissible coalgebra introduced by Goze and Remm to Hom-coalgebras and to introduce Hom-Hopf algebras with some properties. These structures are based on the Hom-algebra structures introduced by the authors.
The notion of a $F$-manifold algebras is an algebraic description of a $F$-manifold. In this paper, we introduce the notion of Hom-$F$-manifold algebras which is generalisation of $F$-manifold algebras and Hom-Poisson algebras. We develop the representation theory of Hom-$F$-manifold algebras and generalize the notion of Hom-pre-Poisson algebras by introducing the Hom-pre-$F$-manifold algebras which give rise to a Hom-$F$-manifold algebra through the sub-adjacent commutative Hom-associative algebra and the sub-adjacent Hom-Lie algebra. Using $\huaO$-operators on a Hom-$F$-manifold algebras we …
The purpose of this paper is to generalize some results on $n$-Lie algebras and $n$-Hom-Lie algebras to $n$-Hom-Lie color algebras. Then we introduce and give some constructions of $n$-Hom-Lie color algebras.
The notions of transposed Hom-Poisson and Hom-pre-Lie Poisson algebras are introduced. Their bimodules and matched pairs are defined and the relevant properties and theorems are given. The notion of Manin triple of transposed Hom-Poisson algebras is introduced, and its equivalence to the transposed Hom-Poisson bialgebras is investigated. The notion of $\mathcal{O}$-operator is exploited to illustrate the relations existing between transposed Hom-Poisson and Hom-pre-Lie Poisson algebras.
We define closed model category structures on different categories connected to the world of operad algebras over the category C(k) of (unbounded) complexes of k-modules: on the category of operads, on the category of algebras over a fixed operad, on the category of modules over a fixed operad algebra. In Sections 2 - 6 we define the necessary structures and provide some standard comparison results. In Section 7 we define cotangent complex. In Section 8 we define a canonical structure of homotopy Lie algebra on the tangent complex.
The aim of this paper is to develop the theory of Hom-coalgebras and related structures. After reviewing some key constructions and examples of quasi-deformations of Lie algebras involving twisted derivations and giving rise to the class of quasi-Lie algebras incorporating Hom-Lie algebras, we describe the notion and some properties of Hom-algebras and provide examples. We introduce Hom-coalgebra structures, leading to the notions of Hom-bialgebra and Hom-Hopf algebras and prove some fundamental properties and give examples. Finally, we define the concept of Hom-Lie admissible Hom-coalgebra an…
We study Hom-quantum groups, their representations, and module Hom-algebras. Two Twisting Principles for Hom-type algebras are formulated, and construction results are proved following these Twisting Principles. Examples include Hom-quantum n-spaces, Hom-quantum enveloping algebras of Kac-Moody algebras, Hom-Verma modules, and Hom-type analogs of U_q(sl_2)-module-algebra structures on the quantum planes.
The construction of HNN-extensions of involutive Hom-associative algebras and involutive Hom-Lie algebras is described. Then, as an application of HNN-extension, by using the validity of Poincaré-Birkhoff-Witt theorem for involutive Hom-Lie algebras, we provide an embedding theorem.
The purpose of this paper is to study representations of simple multiplicative Hom-Lie algebras. First, we provide a new proof using Killing form for characterization theorem of simple Hom-Lie algebras given by Chen and Han, then discuss the representations structure of simple multiplicative Hom-Lie algebras. Moreover, we study weight modules and root space decompositions of simple multiplicative Hom-Lie algebras, characterize weight modules and provide examples of representations of $\mathfrak{sl}_2$-type Hom-Lie algebras.
The main feature of color Hom-algebras is that the identities defining the structures are twisted by even linear maps. The purpose of this paper is to introduce and give some constructions of admissible Hom-Novikov-Poisson color Hom-algebras and Hom-Gelfand-Dorfman color Hom-algebras. Their bimodules and matched pairs are defined and the relevant properties and theorems are given. Also, the connections between Hom-Novikov-Poisson color Hom-algebras and Hom-Gelfand-Dorfman color Hom-algebras is proved. Furthermore, we show that the class of admissible Hom-Novikov-Poisson color Hom-algebras is c…
This paper begins by introducing the concept of a quasi-hom-Lie algebra which is a natural generalization of hom-Lie algebras introduced in a previous paper by the authors. Quasi-hom-Lie algebras include also as special cases (color) Lie algebras and superalgebras, and can be seen as deformations of these by homomorphisms, twisting the Jacobi identity and skew-symmetry. The natural realm for these quasi-hom-Lie algebras is as a generalization-deformation of the Witt algebra $\Witt$ of derivations on the Laurent polynomials $\C[t,t^{-1}]$. We also develop a theory of central extensions for qhl-…
Theorem 6.1.1 of [H.A.H.A.] on the existence of a model structure on the category of operads is not valid in the generality claimed. We present here a counter-example (due to B. Fresse) and a corrected version of the theorem.
Over a field of characteristic zero, we show that the forgetful functor from the homotopy category of commutative dg algebras to the homotopy category of dg associative algebras is faithful. In fact, the induced map of derived mapping spaces gives an injection on all homotopy groups at any basepoint. We prove similar results both for unital and non-unital algebras, and also Koszul dually for the universal enveloping algebra functor from dg Lie algebras to dg associative algebras. An important ingredient is a natural model for these derived mapping spaces as Maurer-Cartan spaces of complete fil…
The main goal of this work is to introduce the notion of Hom-M-dendriform algebras which are the dendriform version of Hom-Malcev algebras. In fact they are the algebraic structures behind the $\mathcal{O}$-operator of Hom-pre-Malcev algebras. They also fit into a bigger framework as Hom-Malcev algebraic analogues of Hom-L-dendriform algebras. Furthermore, we show a connections between Hom-M-Dendriform algebras and Hom-alternative quadri-algebras.
The main feature of Hom-algebras is that the identities defining the structures are twisted by linear maps. The purpose of this paper is to introduce and study a Hom-type generalization of pre-Malcev algebras, called Hom-pre-Malcev algebras. We also introduce the notion of Kupershmidt operators of Hom-Malcev and Hom-pre-Malcev algebras and show the connections between Hom-Malcev and Hom-pre-Malcev algebras using Kupershmidt operators. Hom-pre-Malcev algebras generalize Hom-pre-Lie algebras to the Hom-alternative setting and fit into a bigger framework with a close relationship with Hom-pre-alt…
