A basis for each finite-dimensional irreducible representation of the symplectic Lie algebra sp(2n) is constructed. The basis vectors are expressed in terms of the Mickelsson lowering operators. Explicit formulas for the matrix elements of generators of sp(2n) in this basis are given. The basis is natural from the viewpoint of the representation theory of the Yangians. The key role in the construction is played by the fact that the subspace of sp(2n-2)-highest vectors in any finite-dimensional irreducible representation of sp(2n) admits a natural structure of a representation of the Yangian Y(gl(2)).
We classify filtered quantizations of conical symplectic singularities and use this to show that all filtered quantizations of symplectic quotient singularities are spherical Symplectic reflection algebras of Etingof and Ginzburg. We further apply our classification and a classification of filtered Poisson deformations obtained by Namikawa to establish a version of the Orbit method for semisimple Lie algebras. Namely, we produce a natural map from the set of adjoint orbits in a semisimple Lie algebra to the set of primitive ideals in the universal enveloping algebra. We show that the map is in…
We prove the equivalence of two presentations of the Yangian $Y(\mathfrak{g})$ of a simple Lie algebra $\mathfrak{g}$ and we also show the equivalence with a third presentation when $\mathfrak{g}$ is either an orthogonal or a symplectic Lie algebra. As an application, we obtain an explicit correspondence between two versions of the classification theorem of finite-dimensional irreducible modules for orthogonal and symplectic Yangians.
We present a candidate of a vector space basis for the algebra $\mathcal{O}(S_q^{4n-1})$ of the quantum symplectic sphere for every $n\geq 1$. The algebra $\mathcal{O}(S_q^{4n-1})$ is defined as a certain subalgebra of the quantum symplectic group $\mathcal{O}(SP_q(2n))$. A non-trivial application of the Diamond Lemma is used to construct the vector space basis and the conjecture is supported by computer experiments for $n=1,2,...,8$.
In this paper, we first study infinitesimal deformations of a Lie conformal algebra and a Lie conformal algebra with a module (called an $\mathsf{LCMod}$ pair), which lead to the notions of Nijenhuis operator on the Lie conformal algebra and Nijenhuis structure on the $\mathsf{LCMod}$ pair, respectively. Then by adding compatibility conditions between Nijenhuis structures and $\mathcal{O}$-operators, we introduce the notion of an $\mathcal{O} N$-structure on an $\mathsf{LCMod}$ pair and show that an $\mathcal{O} N$-structure gives rise to a hierarchy of pairwise compatible $\mathcal{O}$-operat…
