We first generalize a classical iteration formula for one variable holomorphic mappings to a formula for higher dimensional holomorphic mappings. Then, as an application, we give a short and intuitive proof of a classical theorem, due to H. Poincaré, for the condition under which a singularity of a holomorphic vector field is an isochronous center.

We give a complete solution to the existence of isochronous center families for holomorphic dynamical systems. The study of center families for n-dimensional holomorphic dynamical systems naturally leads to the study of (n-1)-dimensional Briot-Bouquet systems in the phase space. We first give a detailed study of the Briot-Bouquet systems. Then we show the existence of isochronous center families in the neighborhood of the equilibrium point of three-dimensional systems based on the two-dimensional Briot-Bouquet theory. The same approach works in arbitrary dimensions.

We establish a Poincaré-Dulac theorem for sequences (G_n)_n of holomorphic contractions whose differentials d_0 G_n split regularly. The resonant relations determining the normal forms hold on the moduli of the exponential rates of contraction. Our results are actually stated in the framework of bundle maps.
