We classify canonical algebras such that for every dimension vector of a regular module the corresponding module variety is normal (respectively, a complete intersection). We also prove that for the dimension vectors of regular modules normality is equivalent to irreducibility.
We show that for a class of modules over shod algebras, including the canonical tilting modules, the closures of the corresponding orbits in module varieties are regular in codimension one.
We investigate sets of the common zeros of non-constant semi-invariants for regular modules over canonical algebras. In particular, we show that if the considered algebra is tame then for big enough vectors these sets are complete intersections.
We characterize the canonical algebras such that for all dimension vectors of homogeneous modules the corresponding module varieties are complete intersections (respectively, normal). We also investigate the sets of common zeros of semi-invariants of non-zero degree in important cases. In particular, we show that for sufficiently big vectors they are complete intersections and calculate the number of their irreducible components.
An algorithm is described to compute the canonical basis of an irreducible module over a quantized enveloping algebra of a finite-dimensional semisimple Lie algebra. The algorithm works for modules that are constructed as a submodule of a tensor product of modules with known canonical bases.
Let A be a concealed canonical algebra and d the dimension vector of an A-module which is periodic respect to the action of the Auslander-Reiten translation In the paper, we investigate the union of the closures of the orbits of the periodic A-modules of dimension vector d. We show that this set is closed and regular in codimension one.
Applying Robert Boltje's theory of canonical induction, we give a restriction-preserving formula expressing any $p$-permutation module as a $\mathbb{Z}[1/p]$-linear combination of modules induced and inflated from projective modules associated with subquotient groups. The underlying constructions include, for any given finite group, a ring with a $\mathbb{Z}$-basis indexed by conjugacy classes of triples $(U, K, E)$ where $U$ is a subgroup, $K$ is a $p'$-residue-free normal subgroup of $U$ and $E$ is an indecomposable projective module of the group algebra of $U/K$.
Given a quiver, we consider its cohomological Hall algebra (CoHA) as well as CoHA modules built of cohomology groups of non-commutative Hilbert schemes. We investigate cell decompositions of non-commutative Hilbert schemes and the corresponding (non-canonical) bases of CoHA modules. We construct canonical bases of CoHA modules, which consist of products of Chern classes of tautological vector bundles over non-commutative Hilbert schemes. This result generalizes classical results for Grassmannians and (partial) flag varieties.
In the paper is we generalize known descriptions of rings of semi-invariants for regular modules over Euclidean and canonical algebras to arbitrary concealed-canonical algebras.
The aim of this paper is to extend the structure theory for infinitely generated modules over tame hereditary algebras to the more general case of modules over concealed canonical algebras. Using tilting, we may assume that we deal with canonical algebras. The investigation is centered around the generic and the Prüfer modules, and how other modules are determined by these modules.
We show that the orbit closure of a directing module is regular in codimension one. In particular, this result gives information about a distinguished irreducible component of a module variety.
We construct a crystal basis for the negative half of the quantum group U associated to the standard super Cartan datum of gl(m|1), which is compatible with known crystals on Kac modules and simple modules. We show that these crystals admit globalization functions which produce compatible canonical bases. We then define a braid group action on a family of quantum groups including U, and use this action to show that our canonical basis agrees with those constructed from PBW bases. Finally, we explicitly compute some small-rank examples.
We prove that every orthogonal Gelfand-Zeitlin algebra $U$ acts on its Gelfand-Zeitlin subalgebra $Γ$. Considering the dual module, we show that every Gelfand-Zeitlin character of $Γ$ is realizable in a $U$-module. We observe that the Gelfand-Zeitlin formulae can be rewritten using divided difference operators. It turns out that the action of the latter operators on $Γ$ gives rise to an explicit basis in a certain Gelfand-Zeitlin submodule of the dual module mentioned above. This gives, generically, both in the case of regular and singular Gelfand-Zeitlin characters, an explicit construction o…
We show that ''almost all'' exceptional modules over wild canonical algebra $Λ$ can be described by matrices having coefficients $λ_i-λ_j$, where $λ_i, λ_j$ are elements from the parameter sequence. The proof is based on Schofield induction for sheaves in the associated categories of weighted projective lines and an extended version of C. M. Ringel's proof for the $''0, \,1''$ matrix property for exceptional representations for finite acyclic quivers.
Let A be a finitely generated associative algebra over an algebraically closed field. We characterize the finite dimensional modules over A whose orbit closures are regular varieties.
In this note we are interested in labelling the irreducible representations of non-semisimple specialisations of Hecke algebras of complex reflection groups. We will use category O for the rational Cherednik algebra and the KZ functor together with elementary algebraic and combinatorial arguments to construct "canonical basic sets" in many cases. We will also show that the images of the standard modules through the KZ functor agree with the appropriate cell modules, whenever the Hecke algebra has a cellular structure.
Let A be a tame quasi-tilted algebra and d the dimension vector of an indecomposable A-module. In the paper we prove that each irreducible component of the variety of A-modules of dimension vector d is regular in codimension one.
We study infinite dimensional tilting modules over a concealed canonical algebra of domestic or tubular type. In the domestic case, such tilting modules are constructed by using the technique of universal localization, and they can be interpreted in terms of Gabriel localizations of the corresponding category of quasi-coherent sheaves over a noncommutative curve of genus zero. In the tubular case, we have to distinguish between tilting modules of rational and irrational slope. For rational slope the situation is analogous to the domestic case. In contrast, for any irrational slope, there is ju…
Spaces of homogeneous spherical monogenics in dimension 3 can be considered naturally as sl(2,C)-modules. As finite-dimensional irreducible sl(2,C)-modules, they have canonical bases which are, by construction, orthogonal. In this note, we show that these orthogonal bases form the Appell system and coincide with those constructed recently by S. Bock and K. Guerlebeck. Moreover, we obtain simple expressions of elements of these bases in terms of the Legendre polynomials.
For an ideal $I_{m,n}$ generated by all square-free monomials of degree $m$ in a polynomial ring $R$ with $n$ variables, we obtain a specific embedding of a canonical module of $R/I_{m,n}$ to $R/I_{m,n}$ itself. The construction of this explicit embedding depends on a minimal free $R$-resolution of an ideal generated by $I_{m,n}$. Using this embedding, we give a resolution of connected sums of several copies of certain Artinian $k$-algebras where $k$ is a field.
In this paper we propose a new approach to tilting modules for reductive algebraic groups in positive characteristic. We conjecture that translation functors give an action of the (diagrammatic) Hecke category of the affine Weyl group on the principal block. Our conjecture implies character formulas for the simple and tilting modules in terms of the p-canonical basis, as well as a description of the principal block as the anti-spherical quotient of the Hecke category. We prove our conjecture for GL_n using the theory of 2-Kac-Moody actions. Finally, we prove that the diagrammatic Hecke categor…
In a categorification of tensor products of fundamental representations of quantum sl(k) via highest weight categories, the indecomposable tilting modules descend to the canonical basis. Since projective functors map tilting modules to tilting modules, the coefficients of the canonical basis of tensor products of finite dimensional, irreducible representations under the action of the Chevalley generators are positive.
A canonical basis in the sense of Lusztig is a basis of a free module over a ring of Laurent polynomials that is invariant under a certain semilinear involution and is obtained from a fixed "standard basis" through a triangular base change matrix with polynomial entries whose constant terms equal the identity matrix. Among the better known examples of canonical bases are the Kazhdan-Lusztig basis of Iwahori-Hecke algebras, Lusztig's canonical basis of quantum groups and the Howlett-Yin basis of induced $W$-graph modules. This paper has two major theoretical goals: First to show that having bas…
We describe "quasi canonical modules" for modular invariant rings $R$ of finite group actions on factorial Gorenstein domains. From this we derive a general "quasi Gorenstein criterion" in terms of certain 1-cocycles. This generalizes a recent result of A. Braun for linear group actions on polynomial rings, which itself generalizes a classical result of Watanabe for non-modular invariant rings. We use an explicit classification of all reflexive rank one $R$-modules, which is given in terms of the class group of $R$, or in terms of $R$-semi-invariants. This result is implicitly contained in a p…
For the BGG category of $\mathfrak{q}(n)$-modules of half-integer weights, a Kazhdan-Lusztig conjecture à la Brundan is formulated in terms of categorical canonical basis of the $n$th tensor power of the natural representation of the quantum group of type $C$. For the BGG category of $\mathfrak{q}(n)$-modules of congruent non-integral weights, a Kazhdan-Lusztig conjecture is formulated in terms of canonical basis of a mixed tensor of the natural representation and its dual of the quantum group of type $A$. We also establish a character formula for the finite-dimensional irreducible $\mathfrak{…
For $\imath$quantum covering groups $(\mathbf{U}, \mathbf{U}^\imath)$ of super Kac-Moody type, we construct $\imath$-canonical bases for the highest weight integrable $\mathbf{U}$-modules and their tensor products regarded as $\mathbf{U}^\imath$-modules, as well as a canonical basis for the modified form of the $\imath$quantum group $\mathbf{U}^\imath$, using the $\imath^π$-divided powers, rank one canonical basis for $\mathbf{U}^\imath$.
In this paper we study the representations of loop Affine-Virasoro Algebras. As they have canonical triangular decomposition, we define Verma modules and its irreducible quotients. We give necessary and sufficient condition for an irreducible highest weight module to have finite dimensional weight spaces. We prove that an irreducible integrable module is either an highest weight module or a lowest weight module whenever the canonical central element acts non trivially. At the end we construct Affine central operators for each integer and they commute with the action of the Affine Lie Algebra.
We give an explicit description of the "canonical basic set'' for all Iwahori-Hecke algebras of finite Weyl groups in "good'' characteristic. We obtain a complete classification of simple modules for this type of algebras.
We generalize a construction in [BW18] (arXiv:1610.09271) by showing that the tensor product of a based $\textbf{U}^{\imath}$-module and a based $\textbf{U}$-module is a based $\textbf{U}^{\imath}$-module. This is then used to formulate a Kazhdan-Lusztig theory for an arbitrary parabolic BGG category $\mathcal{O}$ of the ortho-symplectic Lie superalgebras, extending a main result in [BW13] (arXiv:1310.0103).
The problem of classifying modules over a tame algebra A reduces to a block matrix problem of tame type whose indecomposable canonical matrices are zero- or one-parameter. Respectively, the set of nonisomorphic indecomposable modules of dimension at most d divides into a finite number f(d,A) of modules and one-parameter series of modules. We prove that the number of m-by-n canonical parametric block matrices with a given partition into blocks is bounded by 4^s, where s is the number of free entries (which is at most mn), and estimate the number f(d,A).
Some filtrations of the tensor product of a highest weight module and a lowest weight module over quantum group $U_q(\mathfrak g)$ are constructed in \cite{LZ:2009} and one can use them to define some ideals of the modified quantized enveloping algebra. It is shown that the quotient algebras inherit canonical bases from the modified quantized enveloping algebra and are dual to the quantum coordinate ring defined by Kashiwara for symmetrizable Kac-Moody algebra $\mathfrak g$.
We define regular Kac-Moody superalgebras and classify them using integrable modules. We give conditions for irreducible highest weight modules of regular Kac-Moody superalgebras to be integrable. This paper is a major part of the proof for the classification of finite-growth contragredient Lie superalgebras.
In this paper, we describe a regular representation given by Cayley theorem for 2-crossed modules of groups and their associated Gray 3-group groupoids with a single 0-cell and equivalently cat2-groups.
The level l Fock space admits canonical bases G_e and G_\infty. They correspond to U_{v}(hat{sl}_{e}) and U_{v}(sl_{\infty})-module structures. We establish that the transition matrices relating these two bases are unitriangular with coefficients in N[v]. Restriction to the highest weight modules generated by the empty l-partition then gives a natural quantization of a theorem by Geck and Rouquier on the factorization of decomposition matrices which are associated to Ariki-Koike algebras.
Let $\bbk$ be an algebraically closed field of prime characteristic $p$. If $p$ does not divide $n$, irreducible modules over $\frak {sl}_n$ for regular and subregular nilpotent representations have already known(see \cite{Jan2} and \cite{Jan3}). In this article, we investigate the question when $p$ divides $n$, and precisely describe simple modules of $\frak {sl}_n$ for regular and subregular nilpotent representations.
It is proved that if any Z-graded weak module for vertex operator algebra V is completely reducible, then V is rational and C_2-cofinite. That is, V is regular. This gives a natural characterization of regular vertex operator algebras.
