We describe a type of Lie color algebra, which we call generic, whose universal enveloping algebra is a domain with finite global dimension. Moreover, it is an iterated Ore extension. We provide an application and show Grobner basis methods can be used to study universal enveloping algebras of factors of generic Lie color algebras.
The purpose of this paper is to study quadratic color Hom-Lie algebras. We present some constructions of quadratic color Hom-Lie algebras which we use to provide several examples. We describe $T^\ast$-extensions and central extensions of color Hom-Lie algebras and establish some cohomological characterizations.
We study relations between finite-dimensional representations of color Lie algebras and their cocycle twists. Main tools are the universal enveloping algebras and their FCR-properties (finite-dimensional representations are completely reducible.) Cocycle twist preserves the FCR-property. As an application, we compute all finite dimensional representations (up to isomorphism) of the color Lie algebra $sl_2^c$.
The main purpose of this paper is to define representations and a cohomology of color Hom-Lie algebras and to study some key constructions and properties. We describe Hartwig-Larsson-Silvestrov Theorem in the case of $Γ$-graded algebras, study one-parameter formal deformations, discuss $α^{k}$-generalized derivation and provide examples.
We investigate color Lie rings over finite group algebras and their universal enveloping algebras. We exhibit these universal enveloping algebras as PBW deformations of skew group algebras: Every color Lie ring over a finite group algebra with a particular Yetter-Drinfeld structure has universal enveloping algebra that is a quantum Drinfeld orbifold algebra. Conversely, every quantum Drinfeld orbifold algebra of a particular type arising from the action of an abelian group is the universal enveloping algebra of some color Lie ring over the group algebra. One consequence is that these quantum D…
Let $\mathcal{L}=\mathcal{L}_{+}\oplus \mathcal{L}_{-}$ be a finite dimensional color Lie superalgebra over a field of characteristic 0 with universal enveloping algebra $U(\mathcal{L})$. We show that $\limfunc{gldim}(U(\mathcal{L}_{+}))= \limfunc{lFPD}(U(\mathcal{L}))= \limfunc{rFPD}(U(\mathcal{L}))= \limfunc{injdim}_{U(\mathcal{L})}(U(\mathcal{L}))= \dim (\mathcal{L}_{+})$. We also prove that $U(\mathcal{L})$ is Auslander-Gorenstein and Cohen-Macaulay and thus that it has a QF classical quotient ring.
The aim of this paper is to provide a cohomology of $n$-Hom-Lie color algebras governing one parameter formal deformations. Then, we study formal deformations of a $n$-Hom-Lie color algebra and introduce the notion of Nijenhuis operator on an $n$-Hom-Lie color algebra, which could give rise to infinitesimally trivial $(n-1)$-order deformations. Furthermore, in connection with Nijenhuis operators we introduce and discuss the notion of a product structure on $n$-Hom-Lie color algebras.
The generalized p-characters for the restricted Lie color are defined. The simplicity of the induced modules for the FP triples are determined. As applications, we have obtained an analogue of the Kac-Weisfiler theorem for the algebraic Lie color algebra cgl(V), also determined the simplicity of the baby Verma modules for cgl(V).
The main purpose of this paper is to study Quantization of color Lie bialgebras, generalizing to color case the approach by Etingof-Kazhdan which were considered for superbialgebras by Geer. Moreover we discuss Drinfeld category, Quantization of Triangular color Lie bialgebras and Simple color Lie bialgebras of Cartan type.
In this work infinitesimal deformations of the model filiform $\mathbb{Z}_2 \times \mathbb{Z}_2$-color Lie superalgebra have been studied. All the filiform $\mathbb{Z}_2 \times \mathbb{Z}_2$-color Lie superalgebras can be obtained by means of infinitesimal deformations, hence the importance of these. Thus, in particular, we give a family of filiform $\mathbb{Z}_2 \times \mathbb{Z}_2$-color Lie superalgebras via linearly integrable deformations.
We continue the study of the filiform Z2xZ2-color Lie superalgebras. All of them can be obtained by using infinitesimal deformations, i.e. cocycles. In this work we give the total dimension of such cocycles (for any dimensions n, m, p and t of the Z2xZ2-color Lie superalgebras). Also, we give a basis of such cocycles in some generic and concrete cases.
In the 1990s, in work of Le Bruyn and Smith and in work of Le Bruyn and Van den Bergh, it was proved that point modules and line modules over the homogenization of the universal enveloping algebra of a finite-dimensional Lie algebra describe useful data associated to the Lie algebra. In particular, in the case of the Lie algebra $\mathfrak{sl}_2(\mathbb{C})$, there is a correspondence between Verma modules and certain line modules that associates a pair $(\mathfrak{h},\,ϕ)$, where $\mathfrak{h}$ is a two-dimensional Lie subalgebra of $\mathfrak{sl}_2(\mathbb{C})$ and $ϕ\in \mathfrak{h}^*$ sati…
The ideals of the Lie algebras of unitriangular polynomial derivations are classified. An isomorphism criterion is given for the Lie factor algebras of the Lie algebras of unitriangular polynomial derivations.
It was studied the growth of Temperley-Lieb type algebras with orthogonal and commutative relations associated with 2-colored edges graphs. Depending on the structure of the graphs they can be finite-dimensional or to have linear or exponential growth.
Let $Γ$ be a finite group and $V$ a finite-dimensional $Γ$-graded space over an algebraically closed field of characteristic not equal to 2. In the sense of conjugation, we classify all the so-called pre-nil or nil maximal abelian subalgebras for the general linear Lie color algebra $\frak{gl}(V,Γ)$. In the situation of $Γ$ being a cyclic group, we determine the minimal dimensions of pre-nil or nil faithful representations for any finite-dimensional abelian Lie color algebra.
The purpose of this paper is to introduce twisted $\mathcal{O}$-operators on $3$-Lie algebras. We define a cohomology of a twisted $\mathcal{O}$-operator $T$ as the Chevalley-Eilenberg cohomology of a certain $3$-Lie algebra induced by $T$ with coefficients in a suitable representation. Then we consider infinitesimal and formal deformations of twisted $\mathcal{O}$-operators from cohomological points of view. Furthermore, we introduce and study $3$-NS-Lie-algebras as the underlying structure of twisted $\mathcal{O}$-operators on $3$-Lie algebras. Finally, we investigate twisted $\mathcal{O}$-o…
The filiform and the quasi-filiform Lie algebras form a special class of nilpotent Lie algebras. The aim of this paper is to compute the index and provide regular vectors of this two class of nilpotent Lie algebras. we consider the graded filiform Lie algebras $L_{n}$, $Q_{n}$, the $n$-dimensional filiform Lie algebras for $n$ $<8$, also the graded quasi-filiform Lie algebras and finally Lie algebras whose nilradical is $Q_{2n}$.
The main purpose of this paper is to introduce the notion of $n$-L-dendriform algebra which can be seen as a dendrification of $n$-pre-Lie algebras by means of $\mathcal{O}$-operators. We investigate the representation theory of $n$-pre-Lie algebras and provide some related constructions. Furthermore, we introduce the notion of phase space of a $n$-Lie algebra and show that a $n$-Lie algebra has a phase space if and only if it is sub-adjacent to a $n$-pre-Lie algebra. Moreover, we present a procedure to construct $(n + 1)$-pre-Lie algebras from $n$-pre-Lie algebras equipped with a generalized …
A morphism Lie algebra is a triple $(\mathfrak{g}, \mathfrak{h}, ϕ)$ consisting of two Lie algebras $\mathfrak{g}, \mathfrak{h}$ and a Lie algebra homomorphism $ϕ: \mathfrak{g} \rightarrow \mathfrak{h}$. We define representations and cohomology of morphism Lie algebras. As applications of our cohomology, we study some aspects of deformations, abelian extensions of morphism Lie algebras and classify skeletal morphism sh Lie algebras. Finally, we consider the cohomology of morphism Lie groups and find a relation with the cohomology of morphism Lie algebras.
The aim of this paper is to introduce and study quadratic Hom-Lie algebras, which are Hom-Lie algebras with symmetric invariant nondegenerate bilinear forms. We provide several constructions leading to examples and extend the double extension theory to Hom-Lie algebras. We reduce the case where the twist map is invertible to the study of involutive quadratic Lie algebras. We establish a correspondence between the class of involutive quadratic Hom-Lie algebras and quadratic simple Lie algebras with symmetric involution. Centerless involutive quadratic Hom-Lie algebras are characterized. Also el…
We develop general results on centroids of Lie algebras and apply them to determine the centroid of extended affine Lie algebras, loop-like and Kac-Moody Lie algebras, and Lie algebras graded by finite root systems.
Three kinds of universal central extension are considered for a perfect Lie algebra. More precisely, one can consider such a Lie algebra as a Lie triple system, or a Leibniz algebra and construct appropriate central extensions. We show that Lie triple system universal central extension is isomorphic either to Lie or Leibniz algebra universal central extension considered as a Lie triple system in appropriate way.
We give new applications of graded Lie algebras to: identities of standard polynomials, deformation theory of quadratic Lie algebras, cyclic cohomology of quadratic Lie algebras, $2k$-Lie algebras, generalized Poisson brackets and so on.
The incidence category $\C_{\F}$ of a family $\F$ of colored posets closed under disjoint unions and the operation of taking convex sub-posets was introduced by the author in \cite{Sz}, where the Ringel-Hall algebra $\H_{\F}$ of $\C_{\F}$ was also defined. We show that if the Hasse diagrams underlying $\F$ are rooted trees, then the subspace $\n_{\F}$ of primitive elements of $\H_{\F}$ carries a pre-Lie structure, defined over $\mathbb{Z}$, and with positive structure constants. We give several examples of $\n_{\F}$, including the nilpotent subalgebras of $\mathfrak{sl}_n$, $L \mathfrak{gl}_n$…
The first aim of this paper is to show that any finite-dimensional reductive Lie algebra and its finite-dimensional completely reducible representation can be embedded into some PC Lie algebra. The second aim is to find the structure of a PC Lie algebra.
It is shown that any generalized Kac-Moody Lie algebra g that has no mutually orthogonal imaginary simple roots can be written as the vector space direct sum of a Kac-Moody subalgebra and subalgebras isomorphic to free Lie algebras over certain modules for the Kac-Moody subalgebra. Also included is a detailed discussion of Borcherds' construction of the Monster Lie algebra from a vertex algebra and an elementary proof of Borcherds' theorem relating Lie algebras with `an almost positive definite bilinear form' to generalized Kac-Moody algebras. In this paper, first we introduce the notion of a twilled 3-Lie algebra, and construct an $L_\infty$-algebra, whose Maurer-Cartan elements give rise to new twilled 3-Lie algebras by twisting. In particular, we recover the Lie $3$-algebra whose Maurer-Cartan elements are O-operators (also called relative Rota-Baxter operators) on 3-Lie algebras. Then we introduce the notion of generalized matched pairs of 3-Lie algebras using generalized representations of 3-Lie algebras, which will give rise to twilled 3-Lie algebras. The usual matched pairs of 3-Lie algebras correspond to a special class of t…
We will construct standard pentads which are analogues of Cartan subalgebras, and moreover, we will study graded Lie algebras corresponding to these standard pentads. We call such pentads pentads of Cartan type and describe them by two positive integers and three matrices. The structures of their corresponding Lie algebras are related with contragredient Lie algebras.
The theory of standard pentads is the theory aims to construct a graded Lie algebra whose local part consists of a given Lie algebra and its representation. In other words, using standard pentads, we can embed given Lie algebra and its representation into a larger graded Lie algebra. As special cases of Lie algebras associated with standard pentads, we have the notion of PC Lie algebras. Our aim of this paper is to show that the class of PC Lie algebras contains the class of Kac-Moody algebras, that is, to show that the notion of PC Lie algebras is an extension of Kac-Moody algebras.
We show that the p-operator in the Witt algebra (the restricted Lie algebra of derivations of the quotient of the polynomial algebra over a field of characteristic p by the ideal generated by the p-th power of the indeterminant) is given by multiplication by a scalar.
In a previous paper by the authors, we obtain the first example of a finitely freely generated simple $\mathbb Z$-graded Lie conformal algebra of linear growth that cannot be embedded into any general Lie conformal algebra. In this paper, we obtain, as a byproduct, another class of such Lie conformal algebras by classifying $\mathbb Z$-graded simple Lie conformal algebras ${\cal G}=\oplus_{i=-1}^\infty{\cal G}_i$ satisfying the following, (1) ${\cal G}_0\cong{\rm Vir}$, the Virasoro conformal algebra; (2) Each ${\cal G}_i$ for $i\ge-1$ is a ${\rm Vir}$-module of rank one. These algebras includ…
In this paper, we explore natural connections among trigonometric Lie algebras, (general) affine Lie algebras, and vertex algebras. Among the main results, we obtain a realization of trigonometric Lie algebras as what were called the covariant algebras of the affine Lie algebra $\widehat{\mathcal{A}}$ of Lie algebra $\mathcal{A}=\frak{gl}_{\infty}\oplus\frak{gl}_{\infty}$ with respect to certain automorphism groups. We then prove that restricted modules of level $\ell$ for trigonometric Lie algebras naturally correspond to equivariant quasi modules for the affine vertex algebras $V_{\widehat{\…
In this paper, we introduce the notions of a $3$-$Lie_\infty$-algebra and a 3-Lie 2-algebra. The former is a model for a 3-Lie algebra that satisfy the fundamental identity up to all higher homotopies, and the latter is the categorification of a 3-Lie algebra. We prove that the 2-category of 2-term $3$-$Lie_\infty$-algebras is equivalent to the 2-category of 3-Lie 2-algebras. Skeletal and strict 3-Lie 2-algebras are studied in detail. A construction of a 3-Lie 2-algebra from a symplectic 3-Lie algebra is given.
We show that a certain symmetry exists in the stable irreducible decomposition of the Lie algebra consisting of symplectic derivations of the free Lie algebra generated by the first homology group of compact oriented surfaces.
F-Lie algebras are natural generalisations of Lie algebras (F=1) and Lie superalgebras (F=2). We give finite dimensional examples of F-Lie algebras obtained by an inductive process from Lie algebras and Lie superalgebras. Matrix realizations of the $F-$Lie algebras constructed in this way from osp(2|m) are given. We obtain a non-trivial extension of the Poincaré algebra by an Inönü-Wigner contraction of a certain $F-$Lie algebras with $F>2$.
