We give a short summary of results and conjectures in the theory of dynamical quantum group related to the dynamical coboundary equation also known as IRF-Vertex transform. O.Babelon has shown that the dynamical twist $F(x)$ of $U_q(sl(2))$ is a dynamical coboundary $M(x)$ i.e $F(x)M_1(xq^{h_2})M_2(x)=Δ(M(x)).$ We give a new formula for this element $M(x)$ as an infinite product and give a new proof of the coboundary relation. Our proof involves the quantum Weyl group element, giving possible hint for the generalization to higher rank case.
For a finite dimensional simple Lie algebra g, the standard universal solution R(x) in $U_q(g)^{\otimes 2}$ of the Quantum Dynamical Yang--Baxter Equation can be built from the standard R--matrix and from the solution F(x) in $U_q(g)^{\otimes 2}$ of the Quantum Dynamical coCycle Equation as $R(x)=F^{-1}_{21}(x) R F_{12}(x).$ It has been conjectured that, in the case where g=sl(n+1) n greater than 1 only, there could exist an element M(x) in $U_q(sl(n+1))$ such that $F(x)=Δ(M(x)){J} M_2(x)^{-1}(M_1(xq^{h_2}))^{-1},$ in which $J\in U_q(sl(n+1))^{\otimes 2}$ is the universal cocycle associated to…
By considering a suitable renormalization of the Temperley--Lieb category, we study its specialization to the case $q=0$. Unlike the $q\neq 0$ case, the obtained monoidal category, $\mathcal{TL}_0(\Bbbk)$, is not rigid or braided. We provide a closed formula for the Jones--Wenzl projectors in $\mathcal{TL}_0(\Bbbk)$ and give semisimple bases for its endomorphism algebras. We explain how to obtain the same basis using the representation theory of finite inverse monoids, via the associated Möbius inversion. We then describe a coboundary structure on $\mathcal{TL}_0(\Bbbk)$ and show that its idem…
We propose a new generalisation of the Jordanian twist (building on the previous idea from [Meljanac S., Meljanac D., Pachol A., Pikutic D., J. Phys. A: Math. Theor. 50 (2017), 265201, 11 pages]). Obtained this way, the family of the Jordanian twists allows for interpolation between two simple Jordanian twists. This new version of the twist provides an example of a new type of star product and the realization for noncommutative coordinates. Real forms of new Jordanian deformations are also discussed. Exponential formulae, used to obtain coproducts and star products, are presented with details.
We construct explicitly a class of coboundary Poisson-Lie structures on the group of formal diffeomorphisms of ${\Bbb R}^n$. Equivalently, these give rise to a class of coboundary triangular Lie bialgebra structures on the Lie algebra $W_n$ of formal vector fields on ${\Bbb R}^n$. We conjecture that this class accounts for all such coboundary structures. The natural action of the constructed Poisson-Lie diffeomorphism groups induces large classes of compatible Poisson structures on ${\Bbb R}^n$, thus making it a Poisson homogeneous space. Moreover, the left-right action of the Poisson-Lie grou…
We study the problem of classifying all Poisson-Lie structures on the group $G_{\infty}$ of formal diffeomorphisms of the real line $\zR^{1}$ which leave the origin fixed, as well as the extended group of diffeomorphisms $G_{0\infty}\supset G_{\infty}$ whose action on $\zR^{1}$ does not necessarily fix the origin. A complete local classification of all Poisson-Lie structures on the groups $G_{\infty}$ and $G_{0\infty}$ is given. This includes a classification of all Lie-bialgebra structures on the Lie algebra $\Cal G_{\infty}$ of $G_{\infty}$, which we prove to be all of coboundary type, and a…
In this paper we quantize symplectic dynamical r-matrices over a possibly nonabelian base. The proof is based on the fact that the existence of a star-product with a nice property (called strong invariance) is sufficient for the existence of a quantization. We also classify such quantizations and prove a quantum analogue of the classical composition formula for coboundary dynamical r-matrices.
Group-theoretical fusion categories are defined by data concerning finite groups and their cohomology: A finite group $G$ endowed with a three-cocycle $ω$, and a subgroup $H\subset G$ endowed with a two-cochain whose coboundary is the restriction of $ω$. The objects of the category are $G$-graded vector spaces with suitably twisted $H$-actions; the associativity of tensor products is controlled by $ω$. Simple objects are parametrized in terms of projective representations of finite groups, namely of the stabilizers in $H$ of right $H$-cosets in $G$, with respect to two-cocycles defined by the …
Quantum fields are shown to provide an example of infinite-dimensional quantum groups. A dictionary is established between quantum field and quantum group concepts: the expectation value over the vacuum is the counit, Wick's theorem is the definition of a twisted product, operator and time-ordered products are examples of twisted products. Through this dictionary, coquasitriangular structures are introduced in quantum field theory. These structures are the origin of Wick's theorem and quasifree states. Renormalization becomes the replacement of a coquasitriangular structure by a 2-coboundary. …
We find an explicit form for the coproduct formula for PBW generators of quantum groups of infinite series $U_q(\frak{sp}_{2n})$ and $U_q(\frak{so}_{2n}).$ Similar formulas for $U_q(\frak{sl}_{n+1})$ and $U_q(\frak{so}_{2n+1})$ are already known.
We analyse the noncommutative space underlying the quantum group SUq(2) from the spectral point of view which is the basis of noncommutative geometry, and show how the general theory developped in our joint work with H. Moscovici applies to the specific spectral triple defined by Chakraborty and Pal. This provides the pseudo-differential calculus, the Wodzciki-type residue, and the local cyclic cocycle giving the index formula. The cochain whose coboundary is the difference between the original Chern character and the local one is given by the remainders in the rational approximation of the lo…
A large family of "standard" coboundary Hopf algebras is investigated. The existence of a universal R-matrix is demonstrated for the case when the parameters are in general position. Algebraic surfaces in parameter space are characterized by the appearance of certain ideals; in this case the universal R-matrix exists on the associated algebraic quotient. In special cases the quotient is a "standard" quantum group; all familiar quantum groups including twisted ones are obtained in this way. In other special cases one finds new types of coboundary bi-algebras. The "standard" universal R-matrix i…
We prove a Pieri-Chevalley formula for anti-dominant weights and also a Monk formula in the torus-equivariant $K$-group of the formal power series model of semi-infinite flag manifolds, both of which are described explicitly in terms of semi-infinite Lakshmibai-Seshadri paths (or, equivalently, quantum Lakshmibai-Seshadri paths). In view of recent results of Kato, these formulas give an explicit description of the structure constants for the Pontryagin product in the torus-equivariant $K$-group of affine Grassmannians and that for the quantum multiplication of the torus-equivariant (small) qua…
The main goal of this paper is to give a modular type representation for the infinite product $(1-x)(1-xq)(1-xq^2)(1-xq^3)...$. It is shown that this representation essentially contains the well-known modular formulae either for Dedekind's eta function, Jacobi theta function or for certain Lambert series. Thus a new and unified approach is outlined for the study of elliptic and modular functions and related series.
The Fock space of $m+p$ bosonic and $n+q$ fermionic quantum oscillators forms a unitarizable module of the general linear superalgebra $gl_{m+p|n+q}$. Its tensor powers decompose into direct sums of infinite dimensional irreducible highest weight $gl_{m+p|n+q}$-modules. We obtain an explicit decomposition of any tensor power of this Fock space into irreducibles, and develop a character formula for the irreducible $gl_{m+p|n+q}$-modules arising in this way.
We propose a definition of equivariant (with respect to an Iwahori subgroup) $K$-theory of the formal power series model $\mathbf{Q}_{G}$ of semi-infinite flag manifold and prove the Pieri-Chevalley formula, which describes the product, in the $K$-theory of $\mathbf{Q}_{G}$, of the structure sheaf of a semi-infinite Schubert variety with a line bundle (associated to a dominant integral weight) over $\mathbf{Q}_{G}$. In order to achieve this, we provide a number of fundamental results on $\mathbf{Q}_{G}$ and its Schubert subvarieties including the Borel-Weil-Bott theory, whose special case is c…
We continue the study, begun in [Kouno-Naito-Orr-Sagaki, 2021], of inverse Chevalley formulas for the equivariant $K$-group of semi-infinite flag manifolds. Using the language of alcove paths, we reformulate and extend our combinatorial inverse Chevalley formula to arbitrary weights in all simply-laced types (conjecturally also for $E_8$).
We prove an explicit inverse Chevalley formula in the equivariant $K$-theory of semi-infinite flag manifolds of simply-laced type. By an inverse Chevalley formula, we mean a formula for the product of an equivariant scalar with a Schubert class, expressed as a $\mathbb{Z}[q^{\pm 1}]$-linear combination of Schubert classes twisted by equivariant line bundles. Our formula applies to arbitrary Schubert classes in semi-infinite flag manifolds of simply-laced type and equivariant scalars $e^λ$, where $λ$ is an arbitrary minuscule weight. By a result of Stembridge, our formula completely determines …
We provide a proof that every Schubert variety of a semi-infinite flag variety is projectively normal. This gives us an interpretation of a Demazure module of a global Weyl module of a current Lie algebra as the (dual) space of the space of global sections of a semi-infinite Schubert variety. Moreover, we give geometric realizations of Feigin-Makedonskyi's generalized Weyl modules, and the $t = \infty$ specialization of non-symmetric Macdonald polynomials.
We give a combinatorial Chevalley formula for an arbitrary weight, in the torus-equivariant K-theory of semi-infinite flag manifolds, which is expressed in terms of the quantum alcove model. As an application, we prove the Chevalley formula for anti-dominant fundamental weights in the (small) torus-equivariant quantum K-theory of the flag manifold G/B; this has been a longstanding conjecture about the multiplicative structure of the mentioned quantum K-theory. Moreover, in type A, we prove that the so-called quantum Grothendieck polynomials indeed represent Schubert classes in the (non-equivar…
We provide explicit formulas for the quantum integrals of a semi-infinite $q$-boson system with boundary interactions. These operators and their commutativity are deduced from the Pieri formulas for a $q\to 0$ Hall-Littlewood type degeneration of the Macdonald-Koornwinder polynomials.
