We present the classification of a subclass of $n$-dimensional naturally graded Zinbiel algebras. This subclass has the nilindex $n-3$ and the characteristic sequence $(n-3,2,1).$ In fact, this result completes the classification of naturally graded Zinbiel algebras of nilindex $n-3.$
The present article is a part of the study of solvable Leibniz algebras with a given nilradical. In this paper solvable Leibniz algebras, whose nilradicals is naturally graded quasi-filiform algebra and the complemented space to the nilradical has one dimension, are described up to isomorphism.
For a sequence of the naturally graded quasi-filiform Leibniz algebra of second type $\mathcal{L}^4$ introduced by Camacho, Gómez, González and Omirov, all the possible right solvable indecomposable extensions over the field $\Bbb C$ are constructed.
In this paper we show that the method for describing solvable Lie algebras with given nilradical by means of non-nilpotent outer derivations of the nilradical is also applicable to the case of Leibniz algebras. Using this method we extend the classification of solvable Lie algebras with naturally graded filiform Lie algebra to the case of Leibniz algebras. Namely, the classification of solvable Leibniz algebras whose nilradical is a naturally graded filiform Leibniz algebra is obtained.
This work is a continuation of the description of some classes of nilpotent Zinbiel algebras. We focus on the study of Zinbiel algebras with restrictions to gradation and characteristic sequence. Namely, the classification of naturally graded Zinbiel algebras with characteristic sequence equal to $ (n-p, p)$ is obtained.
This paper deals with the classification of Leibniz central extensions of a naturally graded filiform Lie algebra. We choose a basis with respect to that the table of multiplication has a simple form. In low dimensional cases isomorphism classes of the central extensions are given. In parametric family orbits cases invariant functions (orbit functions) are provided.
The Leibniz algebras appear as a generalization of the Lie algebras \cite{loday}. The classification of naturally graded $p$-filiform Lie algebras is known \cite{C-G-JM}, \cite{J.Lie.Theory}, \cite{AJM}, \cite{Ve}. In this work we deal with the classification of 2-filiform Leibniz algebras. The study of $p$-filiform Leibniz non Lie algebras is solved for $p=0$ (trivial) and $p=1$ \cite{Omirov1}. In this work we get the classification of naturally graded non Lie 2-filiform Leibniz algebras.
In this paper solvable Leibniz algebras with naturally graded non-Lie $p$-filiform $(n-p\geq4)$ nilradical and with one-dimensional complemented space of nilradical are described. Moreover, solvable Leibniz algebras with abelian nilradical and extremal (minimal, maximal) dimensions of complemented space nilradical are studied. The rigidity of solvable Leibniz algebras with abelian nilradical and maximal dimension of its complemented space is proved.
A nilpotent Lie algebra ${\mathfrak g}$ is said to be naturally graded if it is isomorphic to its associated graded Lie algebra ${\rm gr} \mathfrak{g}$ with respect to filtration by ideals of the lower central series. This concept is equivalent to the concept of the Carnot algebra arising in sub-Riemannian geometry and the geometric control theory. We classify finite-dimensional and infinite-dimensional naturally graded Lie algebras (Carnot algebras) ${\mathfrak g}=\oplus_{i=1}^{{+}\infty}{\mathfrak g}_i$ with properties $$ [{\mathfrak g}_1, {\mathfrak g}_i]={\mathfrak g}_{i{+}1}, \; \dim{{\ma…
The present article is a part of the study of solvable Leibniz algebras with a given nilradical. In this paper solvable Leibniz algebras, whose nilradicals is naturally graded $p$-filiform non-Lie Leibniz algebra $(n-p\geq4)$ and the complemented space to nilradical has maximal dimension, are described up to isomorphism. Moreover, among obtained algebras we indicate the rigid and complete algebras
Let $F$ be a finite field of $char F = p$ and size $|F| = q$. Let $E$ be the unitary infinity dimensional Grassmann algebra. In this short note, we describe the $\mathbb{Z}_2 \times \mathbb{Z}_2$-graded identities of $E_{k^{*}}\otimes E$, where $E_{k^{*}}$ is the Grassmann algebra with a specific $\mathbb{Z}_{2}$-grading. In the end, we discuss about the $\mathbb{Z}_2 \times \mathbb{Z}_2$-graded GK-dimension of $E_{k^*}\otimes E$ in $m$ variables.
In this work large families of naturally graded nilpotent Lie algebras in arbitrary dimension and characteristic sequence (n,q,1), with n odd, satisfying the centralizer property, are given. This condtion constitutes a generalization, for a nilpotent Lie agebra, of the structural properties charactrizing the Lie algebra $Q_{n}$. By considering certain cohomological classes of the space $H^{2}(\frak{g},\mathbb{C})$, it is shown that, with few exceptions, the isomorphism classses of these algebras are given by central extensions of $Q_{n}$ by $\mathbb{C}^{p}$ which preserve the nilindex and the …
In this work we consider extensions of solvable Lie algebras with naturally graded filiform nilradicals. Note that there exist two naturally graded filiform Lie algebras $n_{n, 1}$ and $Q_{2n}.$ We find all one-dimensional central extensions of the algebra $n_{n, 1}$ and show that any extension of $Q_{2n}$ is split. After that we find one-dimensional extensions of solvable Lie algebras with nilradical $n_{n, 1}$. We prove that there exists a unique non-split central extension of solvable Lie algebras with nilradical $n_{n, 1}$ of maximal codimension. Moreover, all one-dimensional extensions of…
It was shown by Bergman that the Jacobson radical of a Z-graded ring is homogeneous. This paper shows that the analogous result holds for nil rings, namely, that the nil radical of a Z-graded ring is homogeneous. It is obvious that a subring of a nil ring is nil, but generally a subring of a Jacobson radical ring need not be a Jacobson radical ring. In this paper it is shown that every subring which is generated by homogeneous elements in a graded Jacobson radical ring is always a Jacobson radical ring. It is also observed that a ring whose all subrings are Jacobson radical rings is nil. Some …
For a sequence of the naturally graded quasi-filiform Leibniz algebra of second type $\mathcal{L}^2$ introduced by Camacho, Gómez, González and Omirov, all possible right and left solvable indecomposable extensions over the field $\Bbb R$ are constructed so that the algebra serves as the nilradical of the corresponding solvable Leibniz algebras we find in the paper.
Consider a finite-dimensional, complex Lie algebra G and a semi-simple automorphism α. This note aims to give a short and simple proof for explicit upper bounds for the derived length of the radical R and the rank of a Levi complement G/R in terms of the number of eigenvalues of α and the dimension of the space of fixed-points. This is an extension of classical theorems by Kreknin, Shalev and Jacobson.
Following ideas of Quillen it is shown that the graded K-theory of a Z^n-graded ring with support contained in a pointed cone is entirely determined by the K-theory of the subring of degree-0 elements.
In this paper we describe central extensions of some nilpotent Leibniz algebras. Namely, central extensions of the Leibniz algebra with maximal index of nilpotency are classified. Moreover, non-split central extensions of naturally graded filiform non-Lie Leibniz algebras are described up to isomorphism. It is shown that $k$-dimensional central extensions ($k\geq 5$) of these algebras are split.
We describe infinitesimal deformations of complex naturally graded filiform Leibniz algebras. It is known that any $n$-dimensional filiform Lie algebra can be obtained by a linear integrable deformation of the naturally graded algebra $F_n^3(0)$. We establish that in the same way any $n$-dimensional filiform Leibniz algebra can be obtained by an infinitesimal deformation of the filiform Leibniz algebras $F_{n}^1,$ $F_{n}^2$ and $F_{n}^3(α)$. Moreover, we describe the linear integrable deformations of above-mentioned algebras with a fixed basis of $HL^2$ in the set of all $n$-dimensional Leibni…
Let $A=\oplus_{i\in \mathbb{Z}}A_i$ be a finite dimensional graded symmetric cellular algebra with a homogeneous symmetrizing trace of degree $d$. We prove that $A_{-d}$ contains the Higman ideal $H(A)$ of the center of $A$ and $\dim H(A)\leq \dim A_{0}$ if $d\neq 0$, and provide a semisimplicity criterion of $A$ in terms of the centralizer of $A_0$, which is a graded version of \cite[Theorem 3.2]{L}.
In this note, we prove that the invariant subalgebra of the (-1)-skew polynomial algebra under a permutation action is a graded isolated singularity, and thus a conjecture of Chan-Young-Zhang is true.
The description of complex solvable Leibniz algebras whose nilradical is a naturally graded filiform algebra is already known. Unfortunately, a mistake was made in that description. Namely, in the case where the dimension of the solvable Leibniz algebra with nilradical $F_n^1$ is equal to $n+2$, it was asserted that there is no such algebra. However, it was possible for us to find a unique $(n+2)$-dimensional solvable Leibniz algebra with nilradical $F_n^1$. In addition, we establish the triviality of the second group of cohomology for this algebra with coefficients in itself, which implies it…
Let R be a Dedekind domain with global quotient field K. The purpose of this note is to provide a characterization of when a strongly graded R-order with semiprime 1-component is hereditary. This generalizes earlier work by the first author and G. Janusz (Trans. Amer. Math. Soc. 352 (2000), 3381-3410).
The paper deals with the classification of a subclass of finite-dimensional Zinbiel algebras: the naturally graded p-filiform Zinbiel algebras. A Zinbiel algebra is the dual to Leibniz algebra in Koszul sense. We prove that there exists, up to isomorphism, only one family of naturally graded p-filiform Zinbiel algebras under hypothesis $n-p \geq 4.$
M. Van den Bergh proved that if A is a left noetherian N-graded ring, and I is a graded-injective left A-module, then the injective dimension of I in the ungraded sense is at most 1. In this note we give another proof of this result. Our proof follows the same strategy as the original proof by Van den Bergh, yet it is somewhat more conceptual, in that it isolates the precise "reason" for the dimension jump.
Even if a ring A is coherent, the polynomial ring A[X] in one variable could fail to be coherent. In this note we show that A[X] is graded coherent with the standard grading deg X=1. More generally, we give a criterion of graded coherentness of the tensor algebra T_{A}(M) of a certain class of bi-module M. As an application of the criterion, we show that there is a relationship between higher dimensional Auslander-Reiten theory and graded coherentness of higher preprojective algebras.
The algebraic Cuntz-Pimsner rings are naturally $\mathbb{Z}$-graded rings that generalize both Leavitt path algebras and unperforated $\mathbb{Z}$-graded Steinberg algebras. We classify strongly, epsilon-strongly and nearly epsilon-strongly graded algebraic Cuntz-Pimsner rings up to graded isomorphism. As an application, we characterize noetherian and artinian fractional skew monoid rings by a single corner automorphism.
The first Weyl algebra, $A_1 = k \langle x, y\rangle/(xy-yx - 1)$ is naturally $\mathbb{Z}$-graded by letting $\operatorname{deg} x = 1$ and $\operatorname{deg} y = -1$. Sue Sierra studied $\operatorname{gr}- A_1$, category of graded right $A_1$-modules, computing its Picard group and classifying all rings graded equivalent to $A_1$. In this paper, we generalize these results by studying the graded module category of certain generalized Weyl algebras. We show that for a generalized Weyl algebra $A(f)$ with base ring $k[z]$ defined by a quadratic polynomial $f$, the Picard group of $\operatorna…
This note uses a variation of graded Morita theory for finite dimensional superalgebras to determine explicitly the graded basic superalgebras for all real and complex Clifford superalgebras. As an application, the Grothendieck groups of the category of left $\mathbb{Z}_2$-graded modules over all real and complex Clifford superalgebras are described explicitly.
Leavitt path algebras associate to directed graphs a $\mathbb Z$-graded algebra and in their simplest form recover the Leavitt algebras $L(1,k)$. In this note, we first study this $\mathbb Z$-grading and characterize the ($\mathbb Z$-graded) structure of Leavitt path algebras, associated to finite acyclic graphs, $C_n$-comet and multi-headed graphs. The last two type are examples of graphs whose Leavitt path algebras are strongly graded. We characterize Leavitt path algebras which are strongly graded, along the way obtaining classes of algebras which are group rings or crossed-products. In an …
Suppose $A$ is a graded associative algebra over a field, $I$ is its ideal generated by a set $α$ of homogeneous elements, and B = A/I. In this note, some inequalities between Hilbert series of algebras $A,B$ and the number of elements of the set $α$ are announced. As in the Golod--Shafarevich inequality as in our case the equality in every estimate is exact iff the set $α$ is strongly free: so we obtain some new characterizations of such sets. As a consequence it is proved that over a field of zero characteristic for the class of finitely defined graded algebras there is no algorithm to answe…
This note begins by observing that a graded central simple algebra, graded by an abelian group, is a graded Azumaya algebra and it is free over its centre. For a graded Azumaya algebra A free over its centre $R$, we show that K_i^{\gr} (A) is "very close" to K_i^{\gr}(R), where K_i^{\gr} (R) is defined to be K_i(\Pgr (R)). Here \Pgr (R) is the category of graded finitely generated projective R-modules and K_i, \,i\geq 0, are the Quillen K-groups.
In this paper, we obtain two interesting results on homologically smooth connected cochain DG algebras. More precisely, we show that any Koszul DG module in $\mathrm{D_{fg}}(A)$ is compact, when $A$ is a homologically smooth connected cochain DG algebra with a Noetherian cohomology graded algebra $H(A)$. And we prove that the homologically smoothness of $A$ is equivalent to $$\mathrm{D_{fg}}(A)=\mathrm{D}^c(A),$$ if $A$ is a Koszul connected cochain DG algebra such that $H(A)$ is a Noetherian graded algebra with a balanced dualizing complex.
In this study, we extend the result on classification of a subclass of filiform Leibniz algebras in low dimensions to dimensions seven and eight based on the technique used by Rakhimov and Bekbaev for classification of subclasses which arise from naturally graded non-Lie filiform Leibniz algebras. The subclass considered here arises from naturally graded filiform Lie algebras. This subclass contains the class of filiform Lie algebras and consequently, by classifying this subclass, we again re-examine the classification of filiform Lie algebras. Our resulting list of filifom Lie algebras is com…
In this note we relate the valuations of the algebras appearing in the non-commutative geometry of quantized algebras to properties of sub-lattices in some vector spaces. We consider the case of algebras with $PBW$-bases and prove that under some mild assumptions the valuations of the ground field extend to a non-commutative valuation. Later we introduce the notion of $F$-reductor and graded reductor and reduce the problem of finding an extending non-commutative valuation to finding a reductor in an associated graded ring having a domain for its reduction.
In this paper we prove that in classifying of complex filiform Leibniz algebras, for which its naturally graded algebra is non-Lie algebra, it suffices to consider some special basis transformations. Moreover, we establish a criterion whether given two such Leibniz algebras are isomorphic in terms of such transformations. The classification problem of filiform Leibniz algebras, for which its naturally graded algebras are non-Lie in an arbitrary dimension, is reduced to the investigation of the obtained conditions.
The paper aims to investigate the classification problem of low dimensional complex none Lie filiform Leibniz algebras. There are two sources to get classification of filiform Leibniz algebras. The first of them is the naturally graded none Lie filiform Leibniz algebras and the another one is the naturally graded filiform Lie algebras. Here we do consider Leibniz algebras appearing from the naturally graded none Lie filiform Leibniz algebras. This class can be splited into two subclasses. However, isomorphisms within each class there were not investigated. Before U.D.Bekbaev and I.S.Rakhimov s…
It is a fairly known fact that most of the algebras appearing in the theory of rings of differential operators, quantized algebras of different kinds (including many quantum groups), regular algebras in projective non-commutative geometry, etc... come equipped with a natural gradation or filtration controlled by some finite dimensional vector space(s), e.g. the degree one part of filtration or gradation. In this note we relate the valuations of the algebras considered to unramified sub-lattices in some vector space(s).
Given a finite, simple, vertex-weighted graph, we construct a graded associative (non-commutative) algebra, whose generators correspond to vertices and whose ideal of relations has generators that are graded commutators corresponding to edges. We show that the Hilbert series of this algebra is the inverse of the clique polynomial of the graph. Using this result it easy to recognize if the ideal is inert, from which strong results on the algebra follow. Non-commutative Grobner bases play an important role in our proof. There is an interesting application to toric topology. This algebra arises n…
For a finite quiver $Q$ without sinks, we consider the corresponding finite dimensional algebra $A$ with radical square zero. We construct an explicit compact generator for the homotopy category of acyclic complexes of injective $A$-modules. We call such a generator the injective Leavitt complex of $Q$. This terminology is justified by the following result: the differential graded endomorphism algebra of the injective Leavitt complex of $Q$ is quasi-isomorphic to the Leavitt path algebra of $Q$. Here, the Leavitt path algebra is naturally Z-graded and viewed as a differential graded algebra wi…
Multiloop algebras determined by $n$ commuting algebra automorphisms of finite order are natural generalizations of the classical loop algebras that are used to realize affine Kac-Moody Lie algebras. In this paper, we obtain necessary and sufficient conditions for a $Z^n$-graded algebra to be realized as a multiloop algebra based on a finite dimensional simple algebra over an algebraically closed field of characteristic 0. We also obtain necessary and sufficient conditions for two such multiloop algebras to be graded-isomorphic, up to automorphism of the grading group. We prove these facts as …
We show that the infinite symmetric product of a connected graded-commutative algebra over the rationals is naturally isomorphic to the free graded-commutative algebra on the positive degree subspace of the original algebra. In particular, the infinite symmetric product of a connected commutative (in the usual sense) graded algebra over the rationals is a polynomial algebra. Applied to topology, we obtain a quick proof of the Dold-Thom theorem in rational homotopy theory for connected spaces of finite type. We also show that finite symmetric products of certain simple free graded commutative a…
Given an algebra A, presented by generators and relations, i.e. as a quotient of a tensor algebra by an ideal, we construct a free algebra resolution of A, i.e. a differential graded algebra which is quasi-isomorphic to A and which is itself a tensor algebra. The construction rests combinatorially on the set of bracketings that arise naturally in the description of a free contractible differential graded algebra with given generators.
