We study the Cauchy problem for $p$-adic nonlinear evolutionary pseudo-differential equations for complex-valued functions of a real positive time variable and p-adic spatial variables. Among the equations under consideration there is the p-adic analog of the porous medium equation (or more generally, the nonlinear filtration equation) which arise in numerous application in mathematical physics and mathematical biology. Our approach is based on the construction of a linear Markov semigroup on a p-adic ball and the proof of m-accretivity of the appropriate nonlinear operator. The latter result …
Time series defined by a p-adic pseudo-differential equation is investigated using the expansion of the time series over p-adic wavelets. Quadratic correlation function is computed. This correlation function shows a degree--like behavior and is locally constant for some time periods. It is natural to apply this kind of models for the investigation of avalanche processes and punctuated equilibrium as well as fractal-like analysis of time series generated by measurement of pressure in oil wells.
In this article, we study a large class of radial probability density functions defined on the p-adic numbers from which it is possible to obtain certain non-archimedean pseudo-differential operators. These operators are associated with certain p-adic master equations of some models of complex systems (such as glasses, macromolecules, and proteins). We prove via the theory of distributions some properties corresponding to the heat Kernel associated with these pseudo-differential operators. Also, study some properties corresponding to the fundamental solution of these p-adic equations. Finally,…
We construct a family of quantum scalar fields over a $p-$adic spacetime which satisfy $p-$adic analogues of the Gårding--Wightman axioms. Most of the axioms can be formulated the same way in both, the Archimedean and non-Archimedean frameworks; however, the axioms depending on the ordering of the background field must be reformulated, reflecting the acausality of $p-$adic spacetime. The $p-$adic scalar fields satisfy certain $p-$adic Klein-Gordon pseudo-differential equations. The second quantization of the solutions of these Klein-Gordon equations corresponds exactly to the scalar fields int…
