Multidimensional contractions of irreducible representations of the Cayley-Klein unitary algebras in the Gel'fand-Zetlin basis are considered. Contracted over different parameters, algebras can turn out to be isomorphic. In this case method of transitions describes the same reducible representations in different basises, say, discrete and continuous ones.
Using method of inducing, irreducible unitary representation of Cayley--Klein orthogonal groups were constructed. There was proved that Kirilov's method of orbits is relevant for study of the behavior of irreducible representations under transitions between Cayley--Klein groups.

The family of (super)integrable potentials on spaces with curvature developed by A. Ballesteros et all is extend to all two-dimensional Cayley-Klein spaces with the help of contractions. It is shown that integrable systems on spaces with degenerate metrics are described by two Hamiltonians: one in the base and another in the fiber.
We introduce three "Cayley-Klein" families of Lie algebras through realizations in terms of either real, complex or quaternionic matrices. Each family includes simple as well as some limiting quasi-simple real Lie algebras. Their relationships naturally lead to an infinite family of $3\times 3$ Freudenthal-like magic squares, which relate algebras in the three CK families. In the lowest dimensional cases suitable extensions involving octonions are possible, and for $N=1, 2$, the "classical" $3\times 3$ Freudenthal-like squares admit a $4\times 4$ extension, which gives the original Freudenthal…
The nine two-dimensional Cayley-Klein geometries are firstly reviewed by following a graded contraction approach. Each geometry is considered as a set of three symmetrical homogeneous spaces (of points and two kinds of lines), in such a manner that the graded contraction parameters determine their curvature and signature. Secondly, new Poisson homogeneous spaces are constructed by making use of certain Poisson-Lie structures on the corresponding motion groups. Therefore, the quantization of these spaces provides noncommutative analogues of the Cayley-Klein geometries. The kinematical interpret…
The metric structure of homogeneous spaces of rank-one and rank-two associated to the real pseudo-orthogonal groups SO(p,q) and some of their contractions (e.g., ISO(p,q), Newton-Hooke type groups...) is studied. All these spaces are described from a unified setting following a Cayley-Klein scheme allowing to simultaneously study the main features of their Riemannian, pesudoRiemannian and semiRiemannian metrics, as well as of their curvatures. Some of the rank-one spaces are naturally interpreted as spacetime models. Likewise, the same natural interpretation for rank-two spaces is as spaces of…
The families of quasi-simple or Cayley--Klein algebras associated to antihermitian matrices over R, C and H are described in a unified framework. These three families include simple and non-simple real Lie algebras which can be obtained by contracting the pseudo-orthogonal algebras so(p,q) of the Cartan series $B_l$ and $D_l$, the special pseudo-unitary algebras su(p,q) in the series $A_l$, and the quaternionic pseudo-unitary algebras sq(p,q) in the series $C_l$. This approach allows to study many properties for all these Lie algebras simultaneously. In particular their non-trivial central ext…
The quantum N-dimensional orthogonal vector Cayley-Klein spaces with different combinations of quantum structure and Cayley-Klein scheme of contractions and analytical continuations are described for multipliers, which include the first and the second powers of contraction parameters in the transformation of deformation parameter. The noncommutative analogs of constant curvature spaces are introduced. The low dimensional spaces with N=3,4 are discussed in detail and all quantum analogs of the fibered spaces corresponding to nilpotent values of contraction parameters are given. As a result the …
The quantum analogs of the N-dimensional Cayley-Klein spaces with different combinations of quantum and Cayley-Klein structures are described for non-minimal multipliers, which include the first and the second powers of contraction parameters in the transformation of deformation parameter. The noncommutative analogs of (N-1)-dimensional constant curvature spaces are introduced. Part of these spaces for N=5 are interpreted as the noncommutative analogs of (1+3) space-time models. As a result the wide variety of the quantum deformations of realistic kinematics are suggested.
The Cayley-Klein (CK) formalism is applied to the real algebra ${so}(5)$ by making use of four graded contraction parameters describing in a unified setting 81 Lie algebras, which cover the (anti-)de Sitter, Poincaré, Newtonian and Carrollian algebras. Starting with the Drinfel'd-Jimbo real Lie bialgebra for ${so}(5)$ together with its Drinfel'd double structure, we obtain the corresponding CK bialgebra and the CK $r$-matrix coming from a Drinfel'd double. As a novelty, we construct the (first-order) noncommutative CK spaces of points, lines, 2-planes and 3-hyperplanes, studying their structur…
We review Bacry and Levy-Leblond's work on possible kinematics as applied to 2-dimensional spacetimes, as well as the nine types of 2-dimensional Cayley-Klein geometries, illustrating how the Cayley-Klein geometries give homogeneous spacetimes for all but one of the kinematical groups. We then construct a two-parameter family of Clifford algebras that give a unified framework for representing both the Lie algebras as well as the kinematical groups, showing that these groups are true rotation groups. In addition we give conformal models for these spacetimes.
We propose a method for integrating the right-invariant geodesic flows on Lie groups based on the use of a special canonical transformation in the cotangent bundle of the group. We also describe an original method of constructing exact solutions for the Klein - Gordon equation on unimodular Lie groups. Finally, we formulate a theorem which establishes a connection between the special canonical transformation and irreducible representations of Lie group. This connection allows us to consider the proposed methods of integrating for classical and quantum equations in the framework of a unified ap…
The family of quaternionic quasi-unitary (or quaternionic unitary Cayley--Klein algebras) is described in a unified setting. This family includes the simple algebras sp(N+1) and sp(p,q) in the Cartan series C_{N+1}, as well as many non-semisimple real Lie algebras which can be obtained from these simple algebras by particular contractions. The algebras in this family are realized here in relation with the groups of isometries of quaternionic hermitian spaces of constant holomorphic curvature. This common framework allows to perform the study of many properties for all these Lie algebras simult…
We prove relativistic versions of the ladder asymptotics from V. Guillemin and A. Uribe [Journal of Differential Geometry, 32(2):315-347, 1990] on principal bundles over globally hyperbolic, stationary, spatially compact spacetimes equipped with a Kaluza-Klein metric. This involves understanding the distribution of the frequency spectrum for the wave equation on a Kaluza-Klein spacetime when restricted to the isotypic subspace of an irreducible representation of the structure group, in the limit that the weight of the representation approaches infinity in the Weyl chamber. This is a direct gen…
Though the irreducible representations of the Poincare' group form the groundwork for the formulation of relativistic quantum theories of a particle, robust classes of such representations are missed in current formulations of these theories. In this work the extended class of irreducible representations with positive `mass' parameter is explicitly determined. Several new representations in such extension, so far excluded, give rise to consistent theories for Klein-Gordon particles and also to new species of particle theories.
In the Coxeter group W(R) generated by the root system R, let T(R) be the number of conjugacy classes having no eigenvalue 1 and let S(R) be the number of conjugacy classes having no eigenvalue -1. The algebra H{R) of observables of the rational Calogero model based on the root system R possesses T(R) independent traces, the same algebra considered as an associative superalgebra with respect to a certain natural parity possesses S(R) even independent supertraces and no odd trace or supertrace. The numbers T(R) and S(R) are determined for all irreducible root systems (hence for all root systems…
To analyze linear field equations on a locally homogeneous spacetime by means of separation of variables, it is necessary to set up appropriate harmonics according to its symmetry group. In this paper, the harmonics are presented for a spatially compactified Bianchi II cosmological model -- the nilgeometric model. Based on the group structure of the Bianchi II group (also known as the Heisenberg group) and the compactified spatial topology, the irreducible differential regular representations and the multiplicity of each irreducible representation, as well as the explicit form of the harmonics…
