We also consider degenerate versions of those polynomials and numbers, namely degenerate Bell polynomials and numbers of the second kind and degenerate poly-Bell polynomials and numbers of the second kind, and deduce their similar results.
In this paper, we consider the problem of representing any polynomial in terms of the ordered Bell and degenerate ordered Bell polynomials, and more generally of the higher-order ordered Bell and higher-order degenerate ordered Bell polynomials. We derive explicit formulas with the help of umbral calculus and illustrate our results with some examples.

Recently, several types of degenerate Bell polynomials have been introduced as degenerate versions of the ordinary Bell polynomials. The aim of this paper is to study some identities for the degenerate Bell polynomials and their related identities by making use of series transformation formula obtained by Boyadzhiev. In particular, this answers to the natural question about the relationship between two different types of degenerate Bell polynomials.
This paper aims to construct a new family of numbers and polynomials which are related to the Bell numbers and polynomials by means of the confluent hypergeometric function. We give various properties of these numbers and polynomials (generating functions, explicit formulas, integral representations, recurrence relations, probabilistic representation,...). We also derive some combinatorial sums including the generalized Bernoulli polynomials, lower incomplete gamma function, generalized Bell polynomials. Finally, by applying Cauchy formula for repeated integration, we introduce poly-Bell numbe…

As results, we give some expressions, identities and properties about the extended degener- ate Stirling numbers of the second kind and the extended degenerate Bell polynomials.
Recently, Kim-Kim introduced the lambda-umbral calculus, in which the lambda-Sheffer sequences occupy the central position. In this paper, we introduce the fully degenerate Bell and the fully degenerate Dowling polynomials, and investigate some properties and identities relating to those polynomials with the help oflambda-umbral calculus. Here we note that the fully degenerate Bell poynomials and the fully degenerate Dowling polynomials are respectively degenerate versions of the Bell polynomials and the Dowling polynomials, of which the latters are the natural extension of the Whitney numbers…
The aim of this paper is to study some basic properties of the r$-extended Lah-Bell numbers and polynomials associated with r-Lah numbers and to show the connection between the r-extended Lah-Bell polynomials and the rising factorial moments of the Poisson random variable shifted by an even nonnegative integer 2r. Here the nth r-extended Lah-Bell number counts the number of ways a set of n+r elements can be partitioned into non-empty linearly ordered subsets such that r distinguished elements have to be in distinct linearly ordered subsets and the r-extended Lah-Bell polynomials are natural ex…
I recent years, studying degenerate versions of some special polynomials, which was initiated by Carlitz in an investigation of the degenerate Bernoulli and Euler polynomials, regained lively interest of mant mathematicains. In this paper, as a degenerate version of polyexponential functions introduced by Hardy, we study degenerate polyexponential functions and derive various properties of them. Also, we introduce new type degenerate Bell polynomials, which are different from the previous studied partially degenerate Bell polynomials and arise naturally in the recent study of degenerate zero-t…
The aim of this paper is to introduce truncated degenerate Bell polynomials and numbers and to investigate some of their properties. In more detail, we obtain explicit expressions, identities involving other special polynomials, integral representations, Dobinski-like formula and expressions of the generating function in terms of differential operators and linear incomplete gamma function. In addition, we introduce truncated degenerate modified Bell polynomials and numbers and get similar results for those polynomials. As an application of our results, we show that the truncated degenerate Bel…
Many authors studied mix type polynomials and their properties. For their numerous uses in Statistics, Combinatorial analysis and Number theory. In the present article, we define a generating function of mix type Bell based Apostol type polynomials and numbers of order a. Furthermore, we derive some elementary properties and identities of Bell based Apostol type polynomials of order a such as correlation formulas, Implicit summation formulas, derivative formulas and their special cases. Also, we derive some relation with Stirling numbers.
In this paper, we introduce the extended r-central factorial numbers of the second and first kinds and the extended r-central Bell polynomials, as extended versions and central analogues of some previously introduced numbers and polynomials. Then we study various properties and identities related to these numbers and polynomials and also their connections.
Recently, Kim-Kim introduced the degenerate r-Bell polynomials and investigated some results which are derived from umbral calculus. The aim of this paper is to study some properties of the degenerate r-Bell polynomials and numbers via boson operators. In particular, we obtain two expressions for the generating function of the degenerate r-Bell polynomials in |z| , and a recurrence relation and Dobinski-like formula for the degenerate r-Bell numbers. These are derived from the degenerate normal ordering of a degenerate integral power of the number operator in terms of boson operators where the…
Many works have been done in recent years as to explorations for degenerate versions of some special polynomials and numbers, which began with the introduction of the degenerate Bernoulli and degenerate Euler polynomials by Carlitz. The aim of this paper is to study the Poisson random variables in relation to the Lah-Bell polynomials and the degenerate binomial and degenerate Poisson random variables in connection with the degenerate Lah-Bell polynomials. Among other things, we show that the rising factorial moments of the degenerate Poisson random variable with parameter α are given by the degenerate Lah-Bell polynomials evaluated at α. We also show that the probability-generating function of the degenerate Poisson random variable is equal to the generating function of the degenerate Lah-Bell polynomials. Also, we show s…
In this paper, we investigate the integral of $x^n\log^m(\sin(x))$ for natural numbers $m$ and $n$. In doing so, we recover some well-known results and remark on some relations to the log-sine integral $\operatorname{Ls}_{n+m+1}^{(n)}(θ)$. Later, we use properties of Bell polynomials to find a closed expression for the derivative of the central binomial and shifted central binomial coefficients in terms of polygamma functions and harmonic numbers.
The nth r-extended Lah-Bell number is defined as the number of ways a set with $n+r$ elements can be partitioned into ordered blocks such that r distinguished elements have to be in distinct ordered blocks. From these investigations, we obtain some expressions for the r-Lah numbers and the r-extended Lah-…
Our paper deals about identities involving Bell polynomials. Some identities on Bell polynomials derived using generating function and successive derivatives of binomial type sequences. We give some relations between Bell polynomials and binomial type sequences in first part, and, we generalize the results obtained in [4] in second part.

In a previous paper, Mihoubi et al. introduced the $(r_{1},...,r_{p}) $-Stirling numbers and the $(r_{1},...,r_{p}) $-Bell polynomials and gave some of their combinatorial and algebraic properties. These numbers and polynomials generalize, respectively, the $r$-Stirling numbers of the second kind introduced by Broder and the $r$-Bell polynomials introduced by Mező. In this paper, we prove that the $(r_{1},...,r_{p}) $-Stirling numbers of the second kind are log-concave. We also give generating functions and generalized recurrences related to the $(r_{1},...,r_{p}) $-Bell polynomials.
We survey a family of polynomials that are very useful in all kinds of power series manipulations, and appearing more frequently in the literature. Applications to formal power series, generating functions and asymptotic expansions are described, and we discuss the related work of De Moivre, Arbogast and Bell.
In this paper special values of Bell polynomials are given by using the power series solution of the equation $y^{(k)}=e^{ay}$. In addition, complete and partial exponential autonomous functions, exponential autonomous polynomials, autonomous polynomials and $(k,a)$-autonomous coefficients are defined. Finally, we show the relationship between various numbers counting combinatorial objects and binomial coefficients, Stirling numbers of the second kind and autonomous coefficients.
In this paper, we present new explicit simultaneous rational approximations converging sub-exponentially to the values of Bell polynomials at the points of the form $(γ, 1! (2a+1)ζ(2), 2!ζ(3),..., (m-1)!(a+1+(-1)^ma)ζ(m)),$ $m=1,2,...,a,$ $a\in{\mathbb N}.$
In the paper, the authors first inductively establish explicit formulas for derivatives of the arc sine function, then derive from these explicit formulas explicit expressions for a family of Bell polynomials related to the square function, and finally apply these explicit expressions to find explicit formulas for derivatives of some elementary functions.
We recast homogeneous linear recurrence sequences with fixed coefficients in terms of partial Bell polynomials, and use their properties to obtain various combinatorial identities and multifold convolution formulas. Our approach relies on a basis of sequences that can be obtained as the INVERT transform of the coefficients of the given recurrence relation. For such a basis sequence $(y_n)$ with generating function $Y(t)$, and for any positive integer $r$, we give a formula for the convolved sequence generated by $Y(t)^r$ and prove that it satisfies an elegant recurrence relation.

Computers are good at evaluating finite sums in closed form, but there are finite sums which do not have closed forms. Summands which do not produce a closed form can often be ``fixed'' by multiplying them by a suitable polynomial. We provide an explicit description of a class of such polynomials for simple hypergeometric summands in terms of the Bell numbers.
In the paper, by virtue of expansions of two finite products of finitely many square sums, with the aid of series expansions of composite functions of (hyperbolic) sine and cosine functions with inverse sine and cosine functions, and in the light of properties of partial Bell polynomials, the author establishes Taylor's series expansions of real powers of two functions containing squares of inverse (hyperbolic) cosine functions in terms of the Stirling numbers of the first kind, presents an explicit formula of specific partial Bell polynomials at a sequence of derivatives of a function contain…
