We present a supersymmetric extension of the Standard Model in which the new physics contributions to the anomalous magnetic moment of the muon can be more than an order of magnitude larger than in the minimal supersymmetric Standard Model. The extended electroweak symmetry breaking sector of the model can consistently accommodate Higgs bosons and Higgsinos with $O(1)$ couplings to muons. We find that sleptons with masses in the multi-TeV range can comfortably explain the recently confirmed discrepancy in the anomalous magnetic moment of the muon. We discuss additional phenomenological aspects of the model, including its effects on tau flavor changing decays.
We compute the total cross section and the transverse momentum distribution for single charged slepton and sneutrino production at hadronic colliders including NLO supersymmetric and non-supersymmetric QCD corrections. The supersymmetric QCD corrections can be substantial. We also resum the gluon transverse momentum distribution and compare our results with two Monte Carlo generators. We compute branching ratios of the supersymmetric decays of the slepton and determine event rates for the like-sign dimuon final state at the Tevatron and at the LHC.
We propose a new scenario for solving the tachyonic slepton mass problem of anomaly mediated supersymmetry breaking models with a non-Abelian horizontal gauge symmetry broken at the TeV scale. A specific model based on SU(3)_{H} horizontal symmetry is presented wherein the sleptons receive positive mass-squared from the asymptotically free SU(3)_{H} gauge sector. Approximate global symmetries present in the model strongly suppress flavor changing processes induced by the horizontal vector gauge bosons. The model predicts m_{h} < 120 GeV for the lightest Higgs boson mass, tan{beta} nearly equal…
We study the prospects for long-lived charged particle (LLCP) searches at current and future LHC runs and at a 100 TeV pp collider, using Drell-Yan slepton pair production as an example. Because momentum measurements become more challenging for very energetic particles, we carefully treat the expected momentum resolution. At the same time, a novel feature of 100 TeV collisions is the significant energy loss of energetic muons in detectors. We use this to help discriminate between muons and LLCPs. We find that the 14 TeV LHC with an integrated luminosity of 3 ab$^{-1}$ can probe LLCP slepton ma…
We consider a scenario where light bino is the next-to-lightest supersymmetric particle (NLSP) and gravitino/axino is the lightest superysmmetric particle (LSP). For a bino mass less than or around hundred GeV, it can be pair produced at the future lepton colliders through $t-$channel slepton exchange, subsequently decaying into a gravitino/axino plus a photon. We study the prospects to look for such binos at the future colliders and find that a bino mass around 100 GeV can be probed at the $2σ$ ($5σ$) level for a slepton below 2 TeV (1.5 TeV) with a luminosity 3 $ab^{-1}$. For a bino mass aro…
In supersymmetric models with gauge-mediated supersymmetry breaking, charged sleptons are the next lightest supersymmetric particles and decay outside the detector for large regions of parameter space. In such scenarios, supersymmetry may be discovered by searches for a number of novel signals, including highly ionizing tracks from long-lived slow charged particles and excesses of multi-lepton signals. We consider this scenario in detail and find that the currently available Tevatron data probes regions of parameter space beyond the kinematic reach of LEP II. Future Tevatron runs with integrat…
Motivated by the null results of LHC searches, which together with the Higgs mass, severely constrain minimal supersymmetric extensions of the standard model, we adopt a model-independent approach to study charged slepton flavor. We examine a number of simplified models, with different subsets of sleptons, electroweak gauginos, and Higgsinos, and derive the allowed slepton flavor dependence in the region probed by current LHC searches, and in the region relevant for the 14 TeV LHC. We then study the impact of the allowed flavor dependence on lepton plus missing energy searches. In some cases, …
We consider resonant production of sneutrino and slepton at hadronic colliders such as the Tevatron and the LHC within the context of a R-parity violating supersymmetric model. We present next to leading order QCD corrections to total cross sections which originate from both quark- as well as gluon-initiated processes. For couplings involving only the first generation quarks, the K factor at the Tevatron can be as large as 1.5 for a 100 GeV sfermion and falls to nearly 1.1 as the sfermion mass reaches 1 TeV. At the LHC, the variation is between 1.2 and 1.45 for masses less than 2 TeV. While th…
We calculate the total cross section for single charged slepton production in association with a top quark at hadron colliders in the baryon triality (B$_3$) supersymmetric model. We compute event rates for the Tevatron and LHC. We study the signatures for different supersymmetric scenarios including neutralino and stau LSPs. We perform a detailed analysis with basic cuts for the B$_3$ operator $\lam^\prime_{231}$ using Monte Carlo simulations to show that the signal can be distinguished from the background at the LHC. In particular we employ the resulting lepton charge asymmetry.
I present the basic formulae for slepton production in e+e- and e-e- collisions in an especially simple form, using a helicity basis. This parametrization introduces the useful `neutralino functions' to connect the neutralino eigenstates to observable cross sections. We discuss phenomenological consequences of some class of supersymmetric seesaw models in which the right-handed (s)neutrino mass is given to be TeV scale. In this scenario, scalar trilinear interaction of Higgs-slepton-(right-handed) sneutrino is enhanced. We show that the 1-loop correction by sneutrino exchange to the lightest Higgs boson mass destructively interferes with top-stop contributions in the minimal SUSY Standard Model. We find that a decay of charged Higgs boson into sneutrino and charged slepton is sizably enhanced and hence it gives rise to a distinctive signal at future collid…
We propose a SUSY scenario to explain the current electron and muon $g-2$ discrepancies without introducing lepton flavor mixings. Threshold corrections to the Yukawa couplings can enhance the electron $g-2$ and flip the sign of the SUSY contributions. The mechanism predicts a flavor-dependent slepton mass spectrum. We show that it is compatible with the Higgs mediation scenario.
Recently it was pointed out that in the TeV-scale brane world there is a logical possibility where the electroweak Higgs can be identified with a fourth generation slepton. In this paper we address various issues in this four-generation TeV-scale Supersymmetric Standard Model with Higgs as a slepton. In particular we discuss how to achieve proton stability by suppressing the corresponding baryon number violating operators via gauging (a discrete subgroup of) the baryon number U(1) symmetry. Dimension five lepton number violating operators which would result in unacceptably large neutrino masse…
The SUSY flavor, CP, gravitino and proton-decay problems are all solved to varying degrees by a decoupling solution wherein first/second generation matter scalars would exist in the multi-TeV regime. Recent models of natural SUSY presumably allow for a co-existence of naturalness with the decoupling solution. We show that: if sfermions are heavier than $\sim 10$ TeV, then a small first/second generation contribution to electroweak fine-tuning (EWFT) requires a rather high degree of intra-generational degeneracy of either 1. (separately) squarks and sleptons, 2. (separately) left- and right-typ…
We present a complete next to next to leading order QCD corrections to the resonant production of sneutrino and charged slepton at the Tevatron and the Large Hadron Collider within the context of R-parity violating supersymmetric model. We have demonstrated the role of NNLO QCD corrections in reducing uncertainties resulting from renormalisation and factorisation scales and thereby making our predictions reliable.
Supersymmetric theories supplemented by an underlying flavor-symmetry $\mathcal{G}_f$ provide a rich playground for model building aimed at explaining the flavor structure of the Standard Model. In the case where supersymmetry breaking is mediated by gravity, the soft-breaking Lagrangian typically exhibits large tree-level flavor violating effects, even if it stems from an ultraviolet flavor-conserving origin. Building on previous work, we continue our phenomenological analysis of these models with a particular emphasis on leptonic flavor observables. We consider three representative models wh…
We consider a supersymmetric version of the standard model extended by an additional U(1)_{B-L}. This model can be embedded in an mSUGRA-inspired model where the mass parameters of the scalars and gauginos unify at the scale of grand unification. In this class of models the renormalization group equation evolution of gauge couplings as well as of the soft SUSY-breaking parameters require the proper treatment of gauge kinetic mixing. We first show that this has a profound impact on the phenomenolgy of the Z' and as a consequence the current LHC bounds on its mass are reduced significantly from …
We present a complete next to next to leading order QCD corrections to the resonant sneutrino and charged slepton production cross sections at hadronic colliders such as the Tevatron and the Large Hadron Collider within the context of $R$-parity violating supersymmetric model. We have demonstrated the role of these corrections in reducing uncertainties resulting from renormalisation and factorisation scales and thereby making our predictions reliable. We have incorporated soft gluon effects at $N^3LO$ level in order to study the stability of our results under perturbation. The NNLO corrections…
We study a GUT-inspired supersymmetric model with non-universal gaugino masses that can explain the observed muon g-2 anomaly while simultaneously accommodating an enhancement or suppression in the h \rightarrowγγdecay channel. In order to accommodate these observations and m_h \simeq 125-126 GeV, the model requires a spectrum consisting of relatively light sleptons whereas the colored sparticles are heavy. The predicted stau mass range corresponding to R_{γγ}\ge 1.1 is 100 {\rm \ GeV} \lesssim m_{\tildeτ} \lesssim 200 {\rm \ GeV}. The constraint on the slepton masses, particularly on the smuo…
In theories with TeV scale quantum gravity there is a logical possibility where the electroweak Higgs can be a fourth generation slepton. Despite maximal supersymmetry breaking such a scenario turns out to be tightly constrained, and might be testable already at present collider experiments. Also, a light Higgs is no longer a prediction of supersymmetry.
We discuss the possibility of formation and subsequent detection of a supersymmetric bound state composed of a slepton--antislepton pair at the next linear collider. The Green function method is used within a non-relativistic approximation to estimate the threshold production cross-section of the $2P$ bound state. The parameter space of Gauge Mediated Symmetry Breaking (GMSB) models allow a particular scenario in which a charged slepton ($\widetilde{e}_R, \widetildeμ_R$ or $\widetildeτ_1$) is the NLSP. Within this scenario the produced $2P$ bound-state decays, through a dipole transition, into…
We study several aspects of supersymmetric models with a $U(1)_R$ symmetry where the Higgs doublet is identified with the superpartner of a lepton. We derive new, stronger bounds on the gaugino masses based on current measurements, and also propose ways to probe the model up to scales of $\mathcal{O}(10\, \textrm{TeV})$ at future $e^+e^-$ colliders. Since the $U(1)_R$ symmetry cannot be exact, we analyze the effects of $R$-symmetry breaking on neutrino masses and proton decay. In particular, we find that getting the neutrino mixing angles to agree with experiments in a minimal model requires a…
In light of very recent E989 experimental result, we investigate the possibility that heavy sparticles explain the muon g-2 anomaly. We focus on the bino-smuon loop in an effective SUSY scenario, where a light gravitino plays the role of dark matter and other sparticles are heavy. Due to the enhancement of left-right mixing of smuons by heavy higgsinos, the contribution of bino-smuon loop can sizably increase the prediction of muon g-2 to the experimental value. Under collider and vacuum stability constraints, we find that TeV scale bino and smuon can still account for the new muon g-2 anomaly…
In the light of recent experimental data on gaugino searches, we revisit the direct-transmission model of dynamical supersymmery breaking with the gravitino mass m_{\tilde{G}}\leq 16 eV, which does not have any cosmological or astrophysical problems. We find that in the consistent regions of parameter space, the model predicts not only upper bounds on superparticle masses (1.1 TeV, 320 GeV, 160 GeV, 5 TeV, 1.5 TeV and 700 GeV for gluino, Wino, Bino, squarks, left-handed sleptons and right-handed sleptons, respectively), but also a mass of the lightest messenger particle in the range of 10-50 T…
In the case with a large splitting between the squark and slepton masses, the supersymmetric identities which enforce the equality of the gauge and gaugino couplings are violated in the effective theory below the squark mass threshold. We compute the full one-loop (s)quark corrected slepton production cross-sections. We find that the one-loop corrected slepton production cross-sections can depend on the squark mass strongly, up to 9% *log_{10}(M_{\tilde{Q}}/m_{\tilde{l}}). We investigate the squark mass sensitivity of the slepton cross-section measurements at a future linear collider. For sneu…
The accuracy in the measurement of the masses of sleptons and heavy Higgs bosons in cMSSM scenarios, compatible with the WMAP result on cold dark matter, has been re-analysed in view of the requirements for predicting this density to a few percent level from SUSY measurements at the linear collider.
We study SUSY models in which Bino contributions solve the muon g-2 anomaly. The contributions are enhanced by large left-right mixing of the smuons. However, it is constrained by the vacuum stability condition of the slepton--Higgs potential. Therefore, there are upper bounds on masses of sleptons and Bino. When the slepton soft masses are universal, the upper bound on the smuon mass becomes 330 (460)GeV in order to solve the g-2 anomaly at the 1 sigma (2 sigma) level. It is within the reach of LHC and ILC. If the stau is heavier than the smuon, the bound can be as large as 1.4 (1.9)TeV. Such…
Folded supersymmetry is a natural theory of the electroweak scale in which the scalar top partner responsible for canceling the ultraviolet sensitivity of the Higgs mass at one loop carries no color. As a result, bounds on naturalness on these theories are more relaxed than in typical supersymmetric models, since collider bounds on top partners are less stringent. Here we consider the lepton sector of these theories. We show that a natural realization in a five-dimensional completion requires the existence of scalar leptons with weak scale masses and study their phenomenology. We derive bounds…
Non-universal gaugino mass models can naturally account for the dark matter relic density via the bulk annihilation process with relatively light bino LSP and right sleptons in the mass range of ~ 100 GeV, while accommodating the observed Higgs boson mass of ~ 125 GeV with TeV scale squark/gluino masses. A class of these models can also account for the observed muon g-2 anomaly via SUSY loops with wino and left sleptons in the mass range of 400 -- 700 GeV. These models can be tested at LHC via electroweak production of charged and neutral wino pair, leading to robust trilepton and same sign di…
In the MSSM, an unfortunate prediction of minimal anomaly mediated supersymmetry breaking is that the slepton masses squared are negative. This problem is particularly intractable because of the insensitivity of anomaly mediation to ultraviolet physics. In this paper we note that tree level couplings to the conformal compensator in the Kahler potential give 10 TeV as a natural mass scale for physics beyond the MSSM, and, moreover, that the SUSY breaking effects from physics at this scale do not generically decouple from the low-energy spectrum. We consider particular extensions, including the …
Muon g-2 anomaly, which is mismatch between the theoretical and the experimental values of the anomalous magnetic moment of muons, provides a sensitive probe of new physics. In SUSY, if masses of the superpartners relevant to the muon g-2 are O(100) GeV, the SUSY contributions to the muon g-2 become sizable and the anomaly can be solved. There are two representative SUSY contributions to the muon g-2, the chargino and the neutralino contributions, respectively. Particularly, when the discrepancy of the muon g-2 is dominated by the neutralino contributions, it is found that the discrepancy can …
Right-handed sneutrinos are natural components of left-right symmetric supersymmetric models where the gauge sector is extended to include right-handed weak interactions. Unlike in other models where right-handed sneutrinos are gauge singlets, here the right sneutrino is part of a doublet and could be a dark matter candidate whose annihilation proceeds via gauge interactions. We investigate this possibility, and find that relic density, low-energy observable and direct supersymmetry search constraints can be satisfied when the lightest supersymmetric particle is a right-handed sneutrino. We in…
The SUSY contributions $Δa_μ$ to muon $g-2$ anomaly can not even reach $3σ$ in ordinary gauge mediated SUSY breaking (GMSB) scenarios because of the strong correlations between the colored sparticle masses and the uncolored EW sparticle masses. An interesting extension to GMSB is the (Extra)Ordinary Gauge Mediation (EOGM), which can relax the correlations between squarks and sleptons with non-universal choices for $N_{eff,3}$ and $N_{eff,2}$. We find that EOGM scenarios with $N_{eff,3}\ll N_{eff,2}$ can explain the muon $g-2$ anomaly within $3σ$ range, however can not explain the new W-boson m…
We present a supersymmetric extension of the Standard Model with a gauged SU(2) family symmetry for the leptons. It is shown that this family symmetry can be consistently broken at the TeV scale along with supersymmetry. If supersymmetry breaking is driven by anomaly mediation, this model can provide positive squared masses for the sleptons and thus cure the tachyon problem. We analyze the constraints and consequences of this scenario. A characteristic feature of this model is the non-degeneracy of the first two family sleptons. The model predicts large value of tan(beta) and observable τto e …
We investigate a scenario inspired by natural supersymmetry, where neutrino data is explained within a low-scale seesaw scenario. For this the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model is extended by adding light right-handed neutrinos and their superpartners, the R-sneutrinos. Moreover, we consider the lightest neutralinos to be Higgsino-like. We first update a previous analysis and assess to which extent does existing LHC data constrain the allowed slepton masses. Here we find scenarios where sleptons with masses as low as 175 GeV are consistent with existing data. However, we also show that the…
High-precision analyses are presented for the production of scalar sleptons, selectrons and smuons in supersymmetric theories, at future e+e- and e-e- linear colliders. Threshold production can be exploited for measurements of the selectron and smuon masses, an essential ingredient for the reconstruction of the fundamental supersymmetric theory at high scales. The production of selectrons in the continuum will allow us to determine the Yukawa couplings in the selectron sector, scrutinizing the identity of the Yukawa and gauge couplings, which is a basic consequence of supersymmetry. The theore…
The new measurement of the anomalous magnetic moment of muon at the Fermilab Muon $g-2$ experiment has strengthened the significance of the discrepancy between the standard model prediction and the experimental observation from the BNL measurement. If new physics responsible for the muon $g-2$ anomaly is supersymmetric, one should consider how to obtain light electroweakinos and sleptons in a systematic way. The gauge coupling unification allows a robust prediction of the gaugino masses, indicating that the electroweakinos can be much lighter than the gluino if anomaly-mediated supersymmetry b…
We investigate the muon anomalous magnetic moment in the context of the supersymmetric version of the economical 3-3-1 model. We compute the 1-loop contribution of super-partner particles. We show that contribution of superparticle loop becomes significant when \tan γis large. We investigate for both small and large values of $\tan γ$. We find the region of the parameter space where the slepton masses are of a few hundreds GeV is favour by the muon g-2 for small \tan γ(\tan γ\sim 5 ). Numerical estimation gives the mass of supersymmetric particle, the mass of gauginos m_G \sim 700 GeV and ligh…
In supersymmetric models, the well-known tension between naturalness and experimental constraints is relieved if the squarks and sleptons of the first two generations are superheavy, with masses of order 10 TeV, and all other superpartners are light, with masses of order 1 TeV. We show that even if all scalar masses and trilinear A parameters are of order 10 TeV at some high scale, a mass-squared hierarchy of order 400 may be generated dynamically through renormalization group evolution. The required high energy relations are consistent with grand unification, or, alternatively, may be realize…
The E989 experiment at the Fermi National Laboratory reported a 4.2$σ$ discrepancy between the measured magnetic dipole moment of the muon, and its prediction in the Standard Model (SM). In this study, we address the anomaly by considering a minimal and generic extension to the SM which also provides for a dark matter (DM) candidate. The extra states in this framework are: a SM singlet Majorana fermion, referred to as the Bino, playing the role of DM; and muonic scalars, referred to as sleptons. The couplings between the sleptons, SM muons and the Bino can account for the muon $g-2$ anomaly if…
Inspired by the latest measurement of muon g-2 by the Fermilab Experiment, we revisit a class of supersymmetric models in which non-universality at M_GUT allows us to realize relatively light sleptons in the few hundred GeV range. These sleptons provide additional contributions to muon g-2 that can be arranged to reconcile theory and experiment. The solutions compatible with the muon g-2 resolution typically predict light sleptons, charginos and neutralinos. We show how these solutions can be probed during LHC-Run3. A direct impact on the chargino mass is observed such that the chargino can be…
A recent CMS search for the right handed gauge boson $W_R$ reports an interesting deviation from the Standard Model. The search has been conducted in the $eejj$ channel and has shown a 2.8$σ$ excess around $m_{eejj} \sim 2$ TeV. In this work, we explain the reported CMS excess with R-parity violating supersymmetry (SUSY). We consider resonant selectron and sneutrino production, followed by the three body decays of the neutralino and chargino via an $\mathcal{R}-$parity violating coupling. We fit the excess for slepton masses around 2 TeV. The scenario can further be tested in neutrinoless doub…
The minimal supersymmetric (SUSY) standard model (MSSM) augmented by right chiral sneutrinos may lead to one such sneutrino serving as the lightest supersymmetric particle and a non-thermal dark matter candidate, especially if neutrinos have Dirac masses only. In such cases, if the lightest MSSM particle is a stau, the signal of SUSY at the LHC consists in stable charged tracks which are distinguishable from backgrounds through their time delay between the inner tracker and the muon chamber. We show how to determine in such scenarios the mass hierarchy between the lightest neutralino and right…
Lepton flavor violating processes such as μ\to 3e and μ\to e γare investigated with supersymmetric Higgs triplet pair Δand \bar Δin the light of neutrino masses and experimentally verifiable leptogenesis. The Higgs triplet mass M_Δis expected to be in the range of 1 - 100 TeV. The branching ratios of these charged lepton decays are evaluated in terms of M_Δand the coupling f L ΔL of Higgs triplet Δwith lepton doublet pairs L L, which is proportional to the neutrino mass matrix. They may be reached in the future collider experiments. In particular, the μ\to 3e decay would be observed indicating…
We propose a U(1)^\prime mediated supersymmetry (SUSY) breaking, in which U(1)^\prime is identified with U(1)_{B_1+B_2-2L_1}. The U(1)_{B_1+B_2-2L_1} gauge symmetry, which is anomaly-free with the field contents of the minimal supersymmetric standard model, assigns \pm 1/3 charges to the first and second generations of the quarks, and \mp 2 to the first generation of the leptons. As a result, the first two generations of squarks acquire masses of about 7 TeV, and the first generation of the sleptons do those of 40 TeV, respectively, in the presence of one or three pairs of extra vector-like ma…
If produced at the LHC, long-lived charged particles (LLCPs) would leave tracks in the muon detector. Time-of-Flight based methods for detecting these particles become less efficient if the LLCPs are fast, which would typically be the case if they are produced in the decays of some mother particle which is either heavy or very boosted. Thus for example, in supersymmetric models with long-lived sleptons, the long-lived sleptons produced in neutralino decays are often fast, with beta above 0.95 even at a 7 TeV LHC. We propose to use the (mis-measured) invariant mass distribution of "muon"-lepton…
Recently, deviations in flavor observables of B -> D(*) tau nu have been shown between the predictions in the Standard Model and the experimental results reported by BaBar, Belle, and LHCb collaborations. One of the solutions to this anomaly is obtained in a class of leptoquark model with a scalar leptoquark boson S_1, which is a SU(3)_c triplet and SU(2)_L singlet particle with -1/3 hypercharge interacting with a quark-lepton pair. With well-adjusted couplings, this model can explain the anomaly and be compatible with all flavor constraints. In such a case, the S_1 boson can be pair-produced …
We present a gauge mediated supersymmetry breaking model having weak SU(2) triplet, color SU(3) octet and SU(5) 5-plet messengers, that can simultaneously explain the muon $(g-2)$ data within 1$σ$ and the observed Higgs boson mass of 125 GeV. Gauge coupling unification is nontrivially maintained. Most of the parameter space satisfying both is accessible to the 14 TeV LHC. The lighter of the two staus weighs around (100-200) GeV, which can be a potential target of the ILC.
CDF recently reported an excess of events in the mu-gamma-missing E_T channel that disagrees with the Standard Model prediction. No such excess was observed in the e-gamma-mett channel. We explain the excess via resonant smuon production with a single dominant R-parity violating coupling lambda'_{211}, in the context of models where the gravitino is the lightest supersymmetric particle. The slepton decays to the lightest neutralino and a muon followed by neutralino decaying to a gravitino and photon. We determine a viable region of parameter space that fits the kinematical distributions of the…
For a top quark mass fixed to its measured value, we find natural regions of minimal supergravity parameter space where all squarks, sleptons, and heavy Higgs scalars have masses far above 1 TeV and are possibly beyond the reach of the Large Hadron Collider at CERN. This result is simply understood in terms of ``focus point'' renormalization group behavior and holds in any supergravity theory with a universal scalar mass that is large relative to other supersymmetry breaking parameters. We highlight the importance of the choice of fundamental parameters for this conclusion and for naturalness …
Constraining the behavior of cosmic ray data observed at Earth requires a precise understanding of how the cosmic rays propagate in the interstellar medium. The interstellar medium is not homogeneous; although turbulent magnetic fields dominate over large scales, small coherent regions of magnetic field exist on scales relevant to particle propagation in the nearby Galaxy. Guided propagation through a coherent field is significantly different from random particle diffusion and could be the explanation of spatial anisotropies in the observed cosmic rays. We present a Monte Carlo code to propaga…
We propose a flavored $U(1)_{eμ}$ neutrino mass and dark matter~(DM) model to explain the recent DArk Matter Particle Explorer (DAMPE) data, which feature an excess on the cosmic ray electron plus positron flux around 1.4 TeV. Only the first two lepton generations of the Standard Model are charged under the new $U(1)_{eμ}$ gauge symmetry. A vector-like fermion $ψ$, which is our DM candidate, annihilates into $e^{\pm}$ and $μ^{\pm}$ via the new gauge boson $Z'$ exchange and accounts for the DAMPE excess. We have found that the data favors a $ψ$ mass around 1.5~TeV and a $Z'$ mass around 2.6~TeV…
We show that b-tau Yukawa unification can be successfully implemented in the constrained minimal supersymmetric model and it yields the stop co-annihilation scenario. The lightest supersymmetric particle is a bino-like dark matter neutralino, which is accompanied by a 10-20% heavier stop of mass ~ 100-330 GeV. We highlight some benchmark points which show a gluino with mass ~0.6 - 1.7 TeV, while the first two family squarks and all sleptons have masses in the multi- TeV range.
The sensitivity of future electron-proton colliders, the LHeC and FCC-eh, to weakly-produced supersymmetric particles is evaluated in this article. Supersymmetric scenarios where charginos ($\tildeχ_1^{\pm}$) and neutralinos ($\tildeχ_1^{0}$ and $\tildeχ_2^{0}$) are nearly degenerate in mass are considered. Two sets of models, which differ in the mass of sleptons ($\tilde{\ell}$), are studied. Under the hypothesis that slepton masses are at the multi-TeV scale (``decoupled'' scenario), the production processes for charginos and neutralinos at $ep$ colliders, $p\, e^- \to j\, e^-\, \tildeχ \til…
We study the interplay between a soft muon Yukawa coupling generated radiatively with the trilinear A-terms of the minimal supersymmetric standard model (MSSM) and the anomalous magnetic moment of the muon. In the absence of a tree-level muon Yukawa coupling the lightest smuon mass is predicted to be in the range between 750 GeV and 2700 GeV at 2 sigma, if the bino mass M_1 is below 1 TeV. Therefore, a detection of a smuon (in conjunction with a sub-TeV bino) at the LHC would directly imply a non-zero muon Yukawa coupling in the MSSM superpotential. Inclusion of slepton flavor mixing could in …
Supersymmetric models with sub-TeV charginos and sleptons have been a candidate for the origin of the long-standing discrepancy in the muon anomalous magnetic moment (g-2). By gathering all the available LHC Run 2 results, we investigate the latest LHC constraints on models that explain the anomaly by their chargino contribution to the muon g-2. It is shown that the parameter regions where sleptons are lighter than charginos are strongly disfavored. In contrast, we find that the models with $m_{\tildeμ_{\mathrm L}}\gtrsim m_{{\tildeχ}^{\pm}_1}$ are still widely allowed, where the lighter charg…
We explore the ability of current and future dark matter and collider experiments in probing anomalous magnetic moment of the muon, $(g-2)_μ$, within the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model (MSSM). We find that the latest PandaX-II/LUX-2016 data gives a strong constraint on parameter space that accommodates the $(g-2)_μ$ within $2σ$ range, which will be further excluded by the upcoming XENON-1T (2017) experiment. We also find that a 100 TeV $pp$ collider can cover most of our surviving samples that satisfy DM relic density within $3σ$ range through $Z$ or $h$ resonant effect by searching for…
We study the superstring inspired $E_{6}$ model motivated $U(1)_{N}$ extension of the supersymmetric standard model to explore the possibility of explaining the recent excess CMS events and the baryon asymmetry of the universe in eight possible variants of the model. In light of the hints from short-baseline neutrino experiments at the existence of one or more light sterile neutrinos, we also study the neutrino mass matrices dictated by the field assignments and the discrete symmetries in these variants. We find that all the variants can explain the excess CMS events via the exotic slepton dec…
